Video taken from the channel: The Protein Chef

Bake your Chicken on 375F/190C for 20 minutes. Chop your Chicken into small pieces. Add the rest of the ingredient into your slow cooker aside from your Baked Beans.

Cook on High for 2 hours. Add in your Baked Beans. Cook on Low for another 2 hours. Video. Bodybuilding Chicken Chili Recipe! (Low Fat + High Protein!).

Instructions. Place chicken in the bottom of a 6-quart or larger slow cooker (I use this one ). Top with the chicken broth, white beans, green chiles, garlic, onion, cumin, oregano, salt, and cayenne. Stir to combine.

Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours or high for 2 to 4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through. Combine beans, onion, chili peppers, corn, tomato sauce, diced tomato, cumin, chili powder and taco seasoning in a slow cooker and mix well. Nestle the chicken in to completely cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours or on HIGH for 4 to 6 hours.

A creamy shredded chicken chili recipe that cooks to perfection in the crockpot. Inspired by The Cookie Rookie’s fabulous recipe for White Chicken Chili I created this combination – omitting the off-limit keto ingredients (beans) and adding a little more healthy fat. Instructions In large pot, season chicken with cumin, oregano, cayenne, salt and pepper Sear both sides over medium heat until golden Add broth to pot, cover and cook chicken for 15-20 minutes or until fully cooked. In a large stockpot, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the onion and cook until translucent.

Add the shredded chicken, chicken broth, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, and jalapeno to the pot and combine by gently stirring over the burner. Put chicken breasts into the bottom of the slow cooker crock; add chicken broth, black beans, cannellini beans, diced tomatoes, yellow onion, chili powder, garlic, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, hot sauce, salt, and black pepper. Step 3 Cook on Low.

Mix green salsa, diced tomatoes with green chile peppers, white beans, chicken broth, corn, onion, oregano, cumin, salt, and black pepper together in a slow cooker. Lay chicken breasts atop the mixture. Step 2 Cook on Low until the chicken. Put the chicken pieces in the slow cooker along with the onion, bell pepper, garlic, drained and rinsed beans, tomatoes and tomato sauce, corn, chili powder, cumin, oregano, sal.

  • 1) Crockpots should not be more than 2/3 full, otherwise the food steams instead of simmering which leads to a much longer cooking time.
    2) It’s not recommended to cook frozen meat in a slow cooker, as there’s the risk of harmful bacteria contaminating the meat before it reaches a safe temperature. The best place to thaw your meat is in the refrigerator before cooking it in a slow cooker.
    3) Most americans consume way too much sodium. It would be healthier to use “no salt added” or “low sodium” salsa
    4) Please pull your hair back before preparing food. It grossed me out that you kept touching it. Food service workers have to wear nets/hats for a good reason.

  • Always been spoiled with people cooking for me, tried this out today and made it more spicy with the jalapeños! Absolutely amazing and healthy! Plus it’s gonna feed me for the rest of the week! THANKS!!!!!

  • Another really awesome combination that you should definitely try out is to use Vindaloo sauce for the chickens, that’s incredibly delicious especially if you add some avocados to it.

  • What size and make & model is your slow cooker?

I have an instant pot but the inside of the inner-pot chipped so the I can see the black inside ( I got a new inner pot and the same thing happened) so I am back to my old trusty slow cooker. Thanks.

  • Hi, I was wondering if I could feature your video on a site pertaining to chili recipes? Yours would be featured under the “healthy” sub heading as the main recipe.

  • I am also very curious as to how to cook this on the stove top. I just realized that there were no stovetop instructions until I put it all in a pot haha. If somebody responds to this before I burn it, I will love you forever.

  • If this beefcake ever gets a dog, and that dog wanders in and out of his videos as he cooks, his adorableness factor will go off the charts which would likely cause the earth to tilt off of its access and hurtle into the sun. So, that being said, it’s probably a good idea for beefcake to not get a dog to wander in and out of frame as he cooks, because as amazingly adorable as that would make him, it would spell the end of our planet. If he does get a dog, he should name it Flex or something ridiculous like that. What? Man, what if he made healthy Mexican!?  Aaaah!  My brain is going to explode!!!

  • Gonna make this recipe tonight, but going to sautee my veggies + garlic and cook my chicken fajita style on a skillet…then just throw everything in a pot.

  • Are you not putting in water or chicken stock? I don’t have all the ingredients you listed but was gonna try chicken, garlic and basil.

  • From south Louisiana, we put it on rice. So if you need more carbs, you can serve it over rice too. You can also do it over a baked potato.

  • Love this recipe. Any tips for making it less water/runny?  I was thinking of simply trying a 1/2 or 3/4 cup of water, but wasn’t sure if that would affect the recipe. This was my first time using a slow cooker.

  • Made this Last weekend and had it for lunch almost every day at work throughout last week. First recipe I tried of yours and loved it. So today I made your Chicken Bacon Ranch, Sriracha Nuggets and Chicken Bruschetta and will make this chili again tomorrow.  Everything has come out great and tasted amazing and I now have meals for the next week (or longer). So thank you. Your channel makes it easy for me to try new things, save money and plan out my meals for the week instead of eating out and/or stuffing my face with shitty food.

Keep up the good work man, it’s appreciated.

  • I apologize if you have already answered this question I didn’t read all the comments but have you ever tried it by just putting the chicken in raw, does it make a difference?

  • This is the third recipe I’ve tried of yours, (garlic turkey burgers and italian chicken) and it’s fantastic. It’s so hearty and perfect for winter. I may have used too many jalapenos  at the end, but I eat it at a mild temperature and it works great. Currently looking on your channel for my next meal! Thinking about doing the chicken bruschetta, but maybe I’ll do the meatloaf or sloppy joe’s. By the way, the italian chicken was incredible as well, since cutting I haven’t had anything so delicious and creamy. The hint of cheese in every bite was awesome, since I hadn’t had any in awhile. Thanks for making cooking so easy, healthy, and delicious.

  • Chicken was killing me, the oven dried it out, the forman grill over cooked the out before the in. etc etc.. this slow cooker idea has allowed me to start eating low carb healthy higher protein meals. thanks dudes.

  • Love easy recipes like this to help us keep on track with our diets! The more, the better, John, especially for us who aren’t the best cooks! So appreciated, especially since I don’t necessarily struggle so much in the gym, but more with what I eat from day to day

  • shred it in the crockpot, stir around a bit and put the crockpot on warm and let it sit for another hour and you have great shredded chicken for tacos or anything else you want to make

  • Damm you ppl need learn to edit videos, you talk to much.

  • Hey Derrick, amazing recipe! Gonna cook up a batch right now! Love the slow cooker ideas, definitely helps with staying on track of all my health goals as I can cook in bulk and just come home after work to a delicious and healthy meal! Keep up the good work!

  • Thank you for showing the actual deployment into the cooking apparatus. Please show these actions for the freezer prep packs. A LOT of people are asking for this part of the equation.

Come thru for us Sweet Pea! <3

  • I can’t wait to try these! I will try the bbq first! I’ve never liked to cook chicken in the crock pot because they came out almost mushy. I WAS COOKING THEM TOO LONG! I LOVE cooking and shredding chicken in advance and keeping them in meal-sized bags to pull out and quickly & easily heat when needed. THANKS!!!

  • 2:14 a simple fork would do. the chicken is really soft after 4 to 8 hours in the slow cooker. you don’t need to make a mess with the blender.

  • As I’m a Muslim we eat Chicken, Cow, Goat, Camel. My question is the things you added have nothing like pork in it right? Because we don’t eat pork & I totally love the way you cook, and I’m just starting to cook by my own through your recipes. So please let me know if you have recipes for people like me:)

Respect and Love for ya like an elder brother.
    Peace

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE my instant pot!>>> ur2.pl/1046 It is definitely not a necessity for everyone, but it has certainly made my life easier. I think the 8 quart version we got is maybe a little large for most people’s needs, but I really appreciate the versatility of being able to put a larger quantity into the pot it’s made dishes like stir-fry and rice possible to cook at the same time. If you’re on the fence about what size to get, or if you should get one at all, I would say go for it!

  • … nice, I am going to try this out,  I am not the best cook, but I can share a secret on how to dice an onion easier and smaller chunks.

  • People please DO NOT put frozen chicken in a crockpot.

Why? Because slow cookers don’t reliably get frozen meat up to a safe
temperature (above 140°F) evenly enough or quickly enough. Your meat
will likely spend too much time hovering in the danger zone (from 40°F
    – 140°F), which opens the door for bacteria to flourish. Not yummy … or
    safe!
This can be a particular problem for people who are considered at
higher risk for food-borne illnesses: older people, pregnant women,
little kiddos, and people with challenged immune systems (groups which
we’ve seen estimated as comprising approximately 20% of the population).

  • Just made this recipe but I couldn’t find the baked beans so I added lentils instead. I’ve got to say this is an amazing recipe! thank you for sharing, ill be making it again soon!

  • Out flippin standing, I have incorporated all these into my cooking rotation. All are excellent for meal preps and large group pleasing dishes. I am forever tweaking the bbq mix depending on desired sweetness or smokiness. I use the mexican chicken as the chicken for tortilla soup! Your seasonings work great for grilling and some fish dishes!

  • Over the past two weeks I’ve made all these recipes and they are all fantastic. Especially the buffalo chicken. Thank you so much for this video!

  • I love how you format your videos with the nutritional facts + cost + taste testing at the end. Great video! Awesome recipe as well:D

  • The only problem I have with this recipe is it’s so good I want to double the ingredients, but can’t because my crockpot is too small. I blame you.

  • THAT IS ONE LUCKY FORTUNATE HAPPY HUSBAND! thank you sweet pea you got my attention! your tactics is helping me to learn how to cook and prep! and eat responsibility! SUBSCRIBED! and a THUMBS UP! TY:) and thank you youtube!

  • Been making this the past few weeks amd for someone who works a full time job while also trying to exercise and eat right, this recipe is a life saver! Super easy, super tasty, and super filling! Thanks dudes!!

  • On my website dhftns.com there is a button you can click to print the recipe but there is also a list of the ingredients in the description too (hit more)!

  • What if you just have ‘fresh’ boneless/skinless chicken breasts?

Would this work on the bigger pieces of chicken breasts? Does it have to be frozen? We don’t really have bags of frozen bonless/skinless chicken tenderloins in our grocery stores here in Canada like you guys do….. At least I haven’t really seen them….

Also, if they are frozen to begin with, wouldn’t that water the sauce down more?

  • I tried this last night with some low fat sour cream and parmesan cheese on top. It was so good I’m cooking another batch right now:-)

  • I’m an idiot. I didn’t put water in my crock pot… and it’s been cooking for about 2 hours. I knew I should’ve looked up this video…

  • Not a fan of spicy chicken. But I plan to try these other ideas. I never though about adding boneless thighs to my chicken! I’m so excited to try some of these! I’ve been doing pretty good with meal prepping but badly needed new ideas to mix it up. Thanks!!!!

  • Busy busy, cranking out some content Mr M. one thing though, from a limey, crackers with chilli??? thought they were just for cheese…:P

  • When she said boneless skinless chicken breast and then said boneless skinless chicken THIGHS I shed a grateful tear. Breast on their own are dry

  • I do this recipe but I do it with Pace picante 16oz jar Plus usually a half jar of water. Plus what ever spices strike my fancy. I set it for 6 hrs. I usually do this on a weekend and wind up with several meals for the week. Its great on rice or with black beans strait out of the can or like Micheal says in a wrap or tortilla.

  • i’m not a fan of using the mixer to shred chicken…yes it’s fast but it shreds it too much, i like chicken pieces not chicken strings

  • nice n simple, i make pretty much the sme thing all the time, but with kidney beans. i used to use really fatty beef, 73% lean i believe, and boy all that fat can really take a toll. you feel tired and heavy all day after a few bowls of that. also thanks for those tnation articles or whatever they’re called. ive been using your tips from there and these here videos, and im more filled out than ive ever been, and my rear delts are finally starting to really grow. and ive never done such brutal leg training, that shit hurts real good, those sissy squats after all that, forget about walking the next day haha

  • I love chili too! I add fresh bell peppers in mine, previously cooked in balsamic vinegar, olive oil, onions, and ground beef. I also add tabasco, and cheese.

  • Yummy. The beginning of your video almost made me throw up because I woke up with an empty stomach and was so hungry. I’m doing this and I dont know how to cook lol

  • LOVE THAT YOU PUT YOUR YUMMY DELICIOUS RECIPES UNDERNEATH SO WE CAN HAVE THEM FOR LATER FOR PEOPLE LIKE ME WHO CANNOT COOK MAKES IT EASIER THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING AND CARING

  • this woman looks like shes staring into my very soul… judging my cooking skills through the computer screen… thanks for the tips!

  • Could you use this method with a regular pot on the stovetop? Do the times vary? If so, how much time would you use for, say, the first recipe with a regular pot and stove? Greetings from Argentina

  • see the problem i have is figuring out what to make since im a chef and its all about the taste but this is deffo a summit i will do if it helps with body building

    +1 sub

  • Only thing you’re doing by adding the water is making you have to use more seasoning. Not necessary. I would say half of that water is plenty

  • Do you know what this is called? My children ask me what they are eating? I do not know what to come up with to call it, ha. Thanks.

  • Been putting my slow cooker to work again with this recipe. Taste great and takes less than 1 minute to setup. Six hours has been working great for me.

Thanks Buff Dudes, even got me eating brown rice which is great with the sauce that’s leftover.

  • could someone tell me about the fat content in the chicken if I use a slow cooker? would that fat remain in the meat after cooking?

  • I like how Hudson uses the salsa itself to keep the chicken from getting stuck in the bottom this way he doesn’t need to use any extra fats such as butter or vegetable oil, for example.

  • Bodybuilding Chicken Chili Recipe! (Low Fat + High Protein!) #chilirecipes   #chili   #healthyrecipe   #bodybuilding   #chickenchili

  • You don’t really eat all those calories, since some of the sauce will remain in the crock pot, right? So how do you track macros accurately with this? You’d have to eat the sauce on its own to reach the macros on the label, right?

  • you don’t look 28. with all due respect, I’ve noticed that a lot of your recipies are very-high in sodium, the rda for sodium is 2300 mg or less a day (1500 if you have high blood pressure).

  • Love the channel. I am an intermediate lifter. Currently 177lbs %13bf. My goal is to cut before running another mild cycle. I run a basic full body routine 3 sets 8-12, all the major compounds, 3 days a week. I work as a landscaper. I am currently cutting at 2700 calories. (EST 3500 for maintenance) Energy has been an issue. I am currently struggling to progress on my lifts and lose weight at the same time. It seems I can do one or the other. My question is does it make sense to place more focus on diet/cardio and less on lifting? I am trying to get lean before running another cycle. Am I just spinning my wheels trying to build muscle and lose weight at the same time? My goAl is to cut, then lean bulk on cycle.

  • I’ve seen videos where they add water to the chicken in the crockpot. So is adding water to the crockpot before cooking the chicken a good thing or a bad thing??

  • I must say this is the first time I’ve seen someone use a blender to shred chicken. I would have chicken flying everywhere! But great hack though! And the chicken looks delicious!

  • I HATE SHREDDING CHICKEN. It is my LEAST favorite thing to do when it comes to meals like this. I completely dread it. I’ve heard of people doing this, but I thought it could only be done with a certain stand mixer paddle, until I just watched this video. This is a life changer.

  • Somehow this is all i needed…
Someone to just say: you put it in the crockpot, you pour some water over it, you go…eh 4hrs, and it’s good!

  • When I went to keep fats lower and protein even higher I use fat-free Greek yogurt instead of sour cream, and fat-free shredded cheese. Lower calories all around, no fat, adds TONS more protein and some moderate carbs

  • Hi there, I want to know if Custokebon Secrets, will really work for me? I see a lot of people keep on speaking about this popular fat burn secrets.

  • Guys, build muscle doesn’t need to be difficult (I used to feel it did). I’ll give you some advice right now. Search a diet plan known as Custokebon Secrets. Seriously, that course has changed my life. I probably should not even be talking about it cause I do not want a bunch of other guys out there running the same “game” but whatever, I am just in a good mood today so I will share the wealth haha.

  • This isn’t much different to how I make it but I add minced chilli and cayenne pepper to make it extra hot and sweet potato for extra carbs when needed

  • One of my favorite with the slow cooker is chicken, a bottle of franks hot, and 2 table spoons butter. Let cook for a few hours then add a package of ranch dressing powder mix stir and cook another hour.
Set with some couscous and steamed broccoli makes an awesome lunch

  • Does Custokebon Secrets really work? I notice lots of people keep on speaking about Custokebon Secrets. But I’m uncertain if it is good enough to lost tons of fat.

  • According to the internet Washing raw chicken before cooking it can increase your risk of food poisoning from campylobacter. Splashing water from washing chicken under a tap can spread the bacteria on to hands, work surfaces, clothing and cooking equipment. LEL XD

  • Thanks for the recipe John. It’s not too cold here in San Diego, but I’m having chili tonight. Looks so good. BTW, I grew up in Toledo, so I know the February blahs, when you are so ready for the winter to end.

  • I put some water and vinegar then i soak the chicken for about 1 min in it then I cook it it’s not about killing bacteria or anything but when I cook chicken like that It smell weird and taste weird also when I don’t wash it before cooking

  • Great video! I’m learning how to cook because of covid-19. Your presentation and instructions are simple and easy to follow. I’m most excited to try the barbecue and Mexican shredded chicken recipes! Cheers

  • Pukka mate!, just invested in a slow cooker..so recipe’s like this I’m in need of. Ingredients been in an hour & half so far lol.Good stuff!

  • theres no such thing as chicken tenderloins in my country T_T ive searched the web i can only find chicken breast. i have no ideia what are tenderloins in portuguese and google translate is not helping.

  • Love Johns videos. He’s like the wiser older brother who imparts wisdom and knowledge . And damn, my mouth is watering from this recipe

  • Hey John I know you usually cover bb stuff, I think it would be interesting to see videos with some powerlifters and exchange opinions and ideas on training. For example a collab with Stan Efferding, you 2 are kinda different but both experienced, it would be very interesting!

  • As expert, I think Custokebon Secrets can be good way to lost crazy amounts of fat. Why not give it a shot? perhaps it can work for you too.

  • Do you have an EMail l dont no how to ask you questions. If you do send the address to. seanhoulihan45@ gmail.com
    THANK YOU SEAN

  • Can you please make a quick vid regarding the “temple/temporalis muscle” when lifting weights, i get a pump when i lift heavy and my jaw hurts from biting hard, do you have any tips¿? i know more people with this.

  • Michael! Could you possibly do a few more videos of chicken recipes for the slow cooker?? I’m kind of getting bored with what I’ve tried out so far.. see what other options could be that are healthy

  • DUDE thats awesome. I have a slow cooker and I never use it, because it is too hard……..
But i guess I can do that chicken! Yeah!

  • I only watch 2 fitness cooking channels and it’s this one and fit men cook both of u guys helped I’ve lost 30 pounds eating the meals you guys cook and going to the gym so thank you

  • Would I be able to do this without a crock pot? I wanna try and do this on my stove on low heat for 4 hours instead, but I dont wanna waste my chicken.

  • Did you ever make this with ground turkey? I swear I followed this recipe before using ground turkey. Just making sure I’m not losing my mind.

  • Cause of your lat back training with Brandon Curry my lats improved a lot since then, also i never felt any muscle pain in my lats, now I do keep it up man!

  • Grass fed beef is a lot more expensive than feedlot beef but I can really feel the difference in my body and in the gym. I’ve even heard from doctors that grass fed beef contains good omega fats because of the green leafy plant diet; grass.

  • Thank you for all of the great content, Mr. Meadows. I have a question about nutrition. The calories listed on the nutrition label for raw food. Is that the calories for a measuring of the food raw or cooked? For example, my rice says 160 calories per 1/4 cup. Is that 160 calories for 1/4 cup dry measured or 1/4 cup cooked?

  • If you wash your ground beef with water it makes it super lean. I think you can adjust this to make it a great cutting meal, too.
I would add some veges such as brussel sprouts to make it soooo hearty.

  • On the BBQ chicken recipe, why do you have sea salt and pepper on there twice with 2 different amounts? Not sure how much to use, thanks!

  • Does Custokebon Secrets really help to lost lots of weight? We have learn numerous good things about this popular fat burn methods.

  • I absolutely love this channel and your recipes!! My only regret however is that I cannot buy some of your ingredients here in Ireland. Do you have any suggestions for a Sriracha substitute? As many of your recipes use this.
Liked & subscribed, love what you do!!!!

  • Great stuff, i think i could actually make that without burning anything too!!!
Do you have a recomendation for a website to find info on, the difference between your bodies natural production of human growth hormone, what it does, and what it needs to make you bigger compared to protien synthesis, and if, or how they work together or against each other?
Ive been lifting properly for just over two and a half years now (natural) and have always focused on protien intake and timing. Ive put on muscle and lost a lot of fat, and had a lot of fun doing so with the help of your vids, its changed my life and i just keep on gaining more and more interest and passion for all aspects of health, ive never really concentrated on losing fat before as it was happening anyway, but now it has kinda slowed down. I watched your carb cycling and fasting vids and have started to follow your advice and i am seeing positive results (thankyoooooo) but i read that food before sleep will interfere with the release of hgh and training fasted can increase it.
But for the whole time i have been lifting i have always had a decent meal before bed with a lot of protien, normaly some quickly digested and slower digested, this is because i always train early in the morning, within an hour of waking up and it works well to give lots of energy through my time in the gym (i learned that from some guy called john meadows, he is awesome, you should check him out, even his son is cool).
Anyway (sorry for the huge story) (and all the brackets) as i am trying to lose fat, would it be a good idea to, go to bed on an empty stomach and workout on an empty stomach, my theory being i will produce more gh? If so, would eaa’s and cluster dextrin still be advisable as an intra? Or just eat after the workout instead?
Basically, does naturally produced hgh make you grow on its own?And is it linked to protien synthesis?
I am aware that this may be a silly question but it i am confused.
Hope you are still awake after all that.
    Keep up the good work
    Thanks: )

  • tenderloins are so dry and tasteless. you really need to help season them a lot. reheating them again will only make it drier. if you want to cook them like that make sure to have a great side

  • Easiest and yummiest chili recipe I’ve tried. Thanks for not showing all the tedious steps and just getting to the point. Awesome

  • Made this a week ago and it was first “proper” meal I’ve ever cooked my self. I’m 25.

turned out solid, and today I just deforsted a portion I froze, and it’s still great!! talk about ideal meal to make batches of.

thank you very much, looking forward to trying out a few more from your channel.

  • I want to make a plain kind that I can then add to other things. I’ll do the plain one and then split it into freezer containers. They all sound yummy. Thanks for sharing. I’m definitely adding thighs. I’ve never liked white meat.

  • Apparently you’re supposed to wash your chicken…. never heard of this before but i guess the true genius is in a YouTube comments section.

  • Making this tomorrow…but…I’m adding onions, peppers, mushrooms, celery. Try instead of hamburger chili slow cooked roast beef chili, that will blow your mind.

  • John read my mind, I was literally about to start looking for healthy chili recipes when this video came up, I’m glad a found your channel

  • I make this on Sundays now. Takes 6 hours, but gives me the most tender homemade chicken I’ve ever had. It literally does just break in half while i’m taking it out to place into a zip lock bag. I make around a close estimate of 5 servings. I then have part of my lunch for the work week prepped, and clean up is easy. I just wonder if there is a cheaper solution than using a jar salsa each time. Maybe use some water, and less salsa. IDK. Or maybe look into another sauce option.

  • Definetley trying this one, only so many time and ways you can cook chicken bewbs in the oven before your tired of it lol, thinking about maybe adding some hot sauce to it as well(I love my hot sauce lol) so many options with this!

  • When you eat the chicken left overs from the fridge do you eat it cold? If I warm chicken up in the microwave it tastes nasty. It is safe to eat cold after its cooked?

  • The recipe looks delicious. Just got a question though. Would I be able to just throw some frozen chicken into the crockpot and cook it that way instead of using the oven?

  • This recipe is incredible! I added some extras. I went to Kroger and I bought 1 bag of frozen chicken breast,1 can of Bush best Black beans, 1 big-ass jar of “Herdez” salsa, 1 can of corn, 1 can of green beans, 1 bag of baby carrots. This is the best food i have ever cooked in my life, taste excellent!

  • I just got one of these a few months ago. You’re not kidding about the easy part, though I like to throw in some vegetables/mushrooms in mine.

  • I can’t believe how many people out there actually believe washing your meat will kill bacteria. xD
Don’t they teach biology in US schools?

  • Ive been cooking and eating huge chili bowls everyday for the last 4 months or so. Super easy, cheap, healthy, nutritious, tasty, high protein, i can sneak in lots of vegetables, and its high calorie which people like me really need. Has been amazing!

  • Cooked Chicken lasts 3-4 days in the fridge, but wouldn’t the chicken have turned bad on thursday and friday? Should I put the two meals for those two days in the refrigerator and then re heat them in the microwave?

  • When you started blending it there was liquid with the chicken, however after you finished blending there was absolutely none left. Are you supposed to drain it or does it just soak in?

  • Believe it or not, you do not NEED to wash your chicken before cooking it. Patting it with a paper towel will suffice. Don’t believe me? Do your research.

  • Im so pissed. I slowed cooked my chicken for about 12 hours and it still was kinda pink in the middle.  Does anyone think that I may have used too much water? Could that be the case.  Wasn’t as tender as I thought it would come out to either.

  • not being haataer or dick but how can someone that dont have body building body give bodybuilding aaadvice?? unless he a monster under that shirt:P

  • I absolutely love this crock pot.>>> ur2.pl/1064 Easy-to-use came with manual. Easy-to-clean and honestly everything I’ve cooked in it comes out super delicious. It is a bit of a hassle to move around as it is heavy but it’s nice enough to leave on the counter for decor when not in use. Has locks on lid for easy transport but don’t lock if cooking. Great product. Highly recommend.

  • Ok everyone saying to “wash the chicken” Sorry but you are wrong, Washing the chicken has the chance of the water splashing all around you and a higher chance of getting sick. Water droplets that you don’t see can travel like 15-20 inches (40-50cm), All in your sink, counters, dishes(if in a rack),clothes, hands ect… Washing does nothing, you may feel better because you’re getting all the slime/goo off the chicken but that isn’t going to hurt you once you cook it. Or at the very least if you do still wash it turn the water down very lightly and than clean around the sink/counters. But cooking will kill all the bacteria, washing does nothing.

  • this is a great idea in a thermos for winter time. I will definitely be doing this. and as a a beginner I’ve mainly been sticking to grilling my chicken but this will definitely help me cause I need a new way

  • Cheers for that Michael, been thinking about getting a slow cooker but after watching you shredding that chicken my mind is made up. Thanks again mate. (p.s. Subscribed)

  • Itd be great if you had a copy/paste able list of ingredients in the comments, that way I could print it out and go shopping, brah. Great videos btw

  • Thanks, just what I needed. I have spices, chicken, and water. A recipe that I have all of the ingredients for doesn’t come along often. Tomorrow’s gonna be a good day for food mang.

  • Does anyone know what the macros/calories are for a certain weight of this recipe? I know he put up the nutrition facts for the recipe, but it’s hard to read the serving size in grams for the salsa and chicken combo. Can anyone help me out?  Thanks

  • please make more videos like this! I looked at your channel and it doesn’t appear youve done recipe videos in about a year. This is truly awesome.

  • the wife and i made almost this exact chili last weekend, finishing as leftovers today for lunch. it is super tasty, we did ours in an instant pot in 45 mins, if you want a way to get it done faster. our secret ingredient was coco powder, gives it a nice earthy, warm taste. Cheers!

  • We love chili at our house. Train hard, eat chili! Great video. I always enjoy the cooking videos. I gained a 1/4 in on my biceps just watching the video!

  • 1 cup peanut butter, 2 cups cocunut milk, a couple chicken breasts, ground ginger and some turmeric powder, slow cook on low for 6 hours. Boom crock pot Thai peanut butter chicken you can serve with brown rice or quinoa.

  • Hi there, I want to know if Fenoboci Diet Plan, will work for me? I notice lots of people keep on speaking about this popular weight loss secrets.

  • Its still surprise me, just how a lot of people don’t know about Custokebon Secrets, although many people get good results because of it. Thanks to my cooworker who told me about Custokebon Secrets, I’ve lost plenty of weight by using it without starving myself.

  • Younger/older? You can always find lower/no sodium alternatives to almost every product, signifcantly reducing the sodium in all of my recipes. I don’t look for them because my blood pressure/levels are fine and have been for the past decade (and much higher than 2300mg a day). RDA is outdated/not at all based on someone who exercises

  • I was in india and they make something exactly the same, but they use a lot of spices and herbs..they boil the chicken, with chicken broth, then shred the chicken after its cooked, then they add oil into a pan fry the chicken, they add mix bell pepper, onions, curry leave, fresh coriander leaves, dried fenugreek leaves. Spices and herbs. It taste awesome. Indian food is very rich in spices and herbs. I just fell in love with their food. There are so many spices and herbs that they use in their cuisine. How they remember all the spices its amazing.

  • I wonder…could you replace the salsa with hot sauce? Becasue fot a few days now I applied hot saice with my chicken amd it tastes amazing although I only cook 2-3 at a time. Just wondering if hot sauce would work with the crock pot.

  • As expert, I believe Custokebon Secrets is good way to lost lots of weight. Why not give it a chance? maybe it can work for you too.

  • I didnt start working out seriously until I moved to Idaho, so I didnt find out about John until earlier this year, but it’s funny to find out I didnt live far away. This channel has helped me in many ways.

  • John, it seems to be delicious, however spend 2hr-2.5hr or 4hr-5hr to cook, that’s quite time consuming.
Myself prefer to cook in 1hr to 1hr 30min, and that’s it.
Golden rice, fish and plenty of vegetables. And I’m ok to keep eating the same way as long as my body respond well to ingredients, I’m happy with it.
My feedback: looks delicious, but takes too long to prepare.

  • Great video as always. It would be super if you could share some recipes or meal ideas for guys with GERD/IBS. There’s probably quite a few of us out there just suffering and training through it.

  • Hi guys. Thanks for the video. I’m freaking out about having chicken in the fridge from Sunday afternoon until Friday! I always thought it was three days max for refrigerated chicken? Just looking to be reassured as this would change my life!! Lloydy

  • I just subscribed to you after watching you’re meal prep container video because I was trying to find the best glass containers…. you have really good content. Very informative.

  • I’ve made this recipe at least half a dozen times and each time i make it i watch the video. But today was the first day i noticed we have the exact same crock pot! Lol

  • I just went to walmart bought a crock pot $30, 6 breast $10 and salsa $3, chicken is cooking right now so I’ll be back in 6 hours to give this video a thumbs up or down

  • Great recipe! really easy and tasty. I would love to see more slow cooking, and maybe some crockpot freezer meals, that would be awesome:)
