Yup, you can totally order a burrito and still keep your nutrition in check. “With 14 grams of lean protein, the shredded chicken burrito is lower in fat than other options,” Goodson says. “This burrito also has long-grain rice, which helps push the fiber up to 3 grams, which is great!”. Taco Bell’s salads have upwards of 750 calories, but the Power Menu Bowls are packed with veggies, protein and rice instead of fried tortilla chips. Why it made the cut: This burrito packs 18 grams of protein and 8 grams of fiber for only 360 calories — thanks to the filling combination of beans, chicken and guacamole. “Increasing protein helps keep you fuller for a longer period,” Ansari explains, so to keep your order healthy, look for ways to boost your lean protein.

Taco Bell serves their salads in a big crispy tortilla bowl that adds a lot of extra fat and calories. While the items inside are good, it’s best to order it without the crispy bowl, get dressing on the side and use it sparingly. Better yet, use salsa instead of dressing.

  • Pro tip if you want to lose weight, it’s all about minimizing your calories while maximizing your satisfaction. I get a salad like this from Chipotle w/ about 320 calories extra lettuce, meat (1/2 chicken 1/2 steak usually), fajita veggies, 2 scoops of pico, 1 scoop of salsa that’s it. Skip the beans, rice cheese guac and sour cream all are big calorie sinks and minimally satisfying compared to the core ingredients.

  • I use to work at Taco Bell and we basically started to boil water and ones it’s In hot temperature, we have bags that come in frozen and we put bags in water “not opening the bags “, that would be the meat mostly, and the lettuce would be frozen to, so we have to let defrost, and beans,we just put water like the rise if it starts getting hard ���� just to let you know, they are very strict on their portions.1 small scoops of meat /beef/ steak and the tacos will be even be one pinch of cheese. What the hell!!!! Has this world become these days

  • I work at Taco Bell this is very exaggerated. We actually get a lot of complaints about there not being enough filling inside our food from the Taco Bell standard. We have certain scoops and certain amounts of things we’re supposed to put in our items and we even have a scale at the end of our line to weigh our food to make sure it’s at the weight it needs to be for Taco Bell standards.

  • The Taco Bell I work at doesnt add water to the beef we cook it in a thermalizer that has very hot water that can sometimes leak into the bag if it’s not placed correctly but they make us throw the bag out if it does!

  • I work at Taco Bell this is very exaggerated. We actually get a lot of complaints about there not being enough filling inside our food from the Taco Bell standard. We have certain scoops and certain amounts of things we’re supposed to put in our items and we even have a scale at the end of our line to weigh our food to make sure it’s at the weight it needs to be for Taco Bell standards.

  • Maybe it not that HFCS is so much worse than regular sugar but the fact there’s so much more of it in all foods that is making it an epidemic.

  • Eating keto at any fast food isn’t worth it. You literally pay more money for less food. I usually do wendys. Because you can get a Dave’s triple and have it wrapped on lettuce.

  • I just ditched all fast and junk food in the US and became a vegetarian… Although very difficult to maintain the diet has allowed me to loose wait and feel much better about what I eat… Not going vegan but staying vegetarian.

  • You can order sides of meat and have them add what ever toppings you want. It is way cheaper than ordering without the tortillas or chips.

  • My guy they not charging you for the amount of food they charging you for convenience. �������� that 30 cent had you all the way fucked up! The same this as lily corner store charges you 1.00 for a little bag of chips but you can get 10X that at the food store for 3 bucks. Cause they know after you smoke that blunt your walking to the corner store your not driving to stop and shop ����‍♂️��������

  • I get fiesta taco salad, no red strips, and 2 mini beefy quesadillas. A side of cheese sauce and a side of guac. I scrape the quesadillas into the taco salad and top with cheese sauce and quac. So good!!

  • The Taco Bell I work at doesnt add water to the beef we cook it in a thermalizer that has very hot water that can sometimes leak into the bag if it’s not placed correctly but they make us throw the bag out if it does!

But every now and again I let her have a cheat meal and she always chooses taco bell.. It kills me to see her consume the amount of carbs. But I like for her to be comfortable.   • This video saved me today. I really didn’t want to cook, and it was looking like microwaved hot dogs again. Now my husband is at Taco Bell with my order as I type this, and it’s SO worth the $12+ and his embarrassment in having to order nachos without the chips.

  • Hey bro, people will always judgemental..dont put energy in thier comments if thier going to call you phat. Btw if you want to lose weight then reduce the Sodium in your diet. You wont belive how much salt is in everything. Daily intake should not exceed 2500 milligrams. And tortillas and chicken has alot of salt, steak less salt. I loss 25 Lbs in one month by reduced sodium diet. Too much salt cause heart & cholesterol issues.Anyways..I enjoy all your reviews and vlogs.

  • Please clarify: In the beginning you were counting total carbs not net carbs. In this video you mentioned net carbs several times. Certainly Dr Westman recommends totalcarbs. Can you let everyone know which you are using. I’ve been listening since almost the beginning. You are one of the best role models for women out there. Keeping keto simple is the best way to start out. My husband has lost 40 lb in his off all insulin.. Glad your channel is doing well.
