Zucchini Brownies. These zucchini brownies are pure delight! Fudgy, healthy and easy.

They do taste like real brownies while made with whole foods. Because zucchini is a seasonal item, I make zucchini brownies during summer months. In winter, you can find me cooking batches of Instant Pot black beans and making these brownies.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan. In a large bowl, mix together the applesauce, mashed bananas and Stevia. Add vanilla and cocoa and mix together. Then add baking soda, salt and zucchini and mix together.

  • Thanks 4 recipe I made this and whilst I could eat the cake and thought it was nice, the cake smelt really bad. Is this normal or have I done something wrong? Couldnt get anyone else to try it due to the smell

  • I can’t wait to make this. I am keto so there is a minor tweak to replace the maple syrup with fiber syrup. Thanks for the recipe!

  • I’ve never heard of psyllium husk. I’ll have to pick some up. I’m currently doing the Whole30 and vlogging it on my channel. And one of the rules is no paleo baking. But come February and I’m definitely making this!

  • 4 zucchini, grated and squeezed 2 cups
    1 cup almond butter
    1/3 cup maple syrup
    1 egg
    1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    1/4 tsp salt
    1tsp baking soda
    1 Tbsp vanilla extra
    1handful dark chocolate chips generous

  • I love this recipe. My son is guten free, and also besides his wheat allery he is allergic to milk, egg, corn, peanut….. so i love there is none of that. I will try it with sunflower butter and hope that works instead of almond. I love your channel, and it helps me find recipes for him that is healthy and enjoyable for both of us. Your amazing!

  • You’re adorable!
Pure real maple syrup > honey for baking
    Maple syrup = nutritional energy
And honey aficionados advise against heating honey… raw honey has Nutritional benefits that heating messes up…

  • I just baked these because I was craving Brownies and omg they turned out so good! So fluffy and soft! Thank you so much for the recipe!

  • I’m fairly new to Keto and have been craving a lot of chocolate everything, and this definitely seems like the perfect fix. I will definitely be trying these this weekend. Thanks for the Keto-ration(keto inspiration….it’s not a real thing, but it’s my thing. ) and the great content. Keep up the great work.

  • Can’t wait to make these!! I just found your channel and I love your videos and personality!! I just made the hot cocoa from one of your past videos and it was delicious!! I posted it on my health-fitness instagram theskinnysweetooth if you want to check it out. Also, is the psyllium husk necessary for these brownies, or what can it be replaced with because I can’t find it anywhere.

  • Can someone please help me with the ingredients, I’m having a hard time understanding what she added. Almond something and another powder. Please help

  • I made this and mine were too watery and took forever to cook. Maybe thats because of the water in the zucchini, I recommend drying the zucchini out first using a paper towel.

  • Going to try them out today:)
Sarah keep posting your videos, they totally have changed my life:)
Good luck and don’t be afraid of failing, we are just humans 😉

  • When I make brownies, it always comes out not deep and Idk why until my mom saw me making one of those, and she told me the secret, which is you should add the baking powder the last thing, and whisk fast in ONE DIRECTION, then immediately put it in the oven.
I sweat that will make different:)

  • what would happen if we a) left out the almond meal (its the only ingredient I don’t have) or b) added an egg?
Any advice on substitutions or why there is no egg would be great. Thank you so much! LOVE your channel!!!

  • Tried this recipe today & it turned out amazing! I substituted the applesauce with a banana, & used vegetable oil instead of coconut oil. I also added a teaspoon of coffee together with the cocoa powder

  • This was a really inspiring recipe! I made mine without psyllium husks, but with big amount of hemp seed flower, worked out very good and moistly, yum.

  • Hola de hecho voy a hacerlos, me encantó que no lleven mantequilla, solo una pregunta: el puré de manzana debe estar cocido o puedo echarle solo manzana rallada??? Respondeme x favor

  • Sigh… This is NOT low carb. Low carb does not usually contain honey OR flour. Please do your research and understand what low carb actually is.

  • Wooh so happy I found your channel!
This looks sooo good, def gonna try it! Love those liquid stevia-drops. My fav is prob the english toffee one. Soooo good <3

  • Thank you. That’s very doable. I haven’t had brownies in a loooong time because I couldn’t. I could see myself having this. Thanks again! ♥

  • So I was just wondering what brands of stevia you buy because I just bought one that was organic and concentrated and even if i put less than a pinch, it was super sweet and had a chemical(even though it was natural) taste. thanks so much. btw your are so inspiring and are my fav account.

  • just found your channel and tried your healthy zucchini brownies….guess what… we almost finished them yesterday. so very delightfully moist and taste so good.

  • definitely on the cakier side, but still delicious!! substituted the egg for a flax egg and the recipe still worked. if you want more of a chocolate(ier) flavor, I suggest adding about a tablespoon or two more of cocoa powder.

  • i made them with greek yogurt instead of the apple sauce and they are delicious! i felt so haappy eating delicious and healthy brownies

  • dont really like honey and the apple sauce because never know if they have added sugar even they claimed to be real organic honey as always anyway. IS there any substitutions for these two please?

  • What is the purpose of the applesauce? Can I substitute it? Also what if I add protein powder as a substitute to the cocoa powder? Or the protein powder in addition to the cocoa powder?

  • Wow it worked out perfectly!!! So smooth and great test. TIP I used regular apple sauce so don’t sweat it if you don’t have unsweet apple sauce. Enjoy!

  • Nice Video! Forgive me for chiming in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you tried Millawdon Dessert Allowed Trick (google it)? It is a smashing exclusive guide for discover low fat desserts recipes that that burn belly fat minus the normal expense. Ive heard some great things about it and my close friend Aubrey at very last got great success with it.

  • About how long would you say your brownies were in the oven for? Because I did what you said and sticker a toothpick in and nothing came up on it but the brownies are super moist and like almost mousey. Didn’t know if it’s because of the base or if they need to be cooked longer. Thanks!
