  • so the obvious question is what is in that bamboo powder? is it safe? organic? healthier than coffee or worse? where to buy it, and can we make it rather than buy some probably overpriced powder.

  • Starbucks barista pro tip: introduce the steamed milk to the espresso instead of mixing them while steaming. It creates a nicer consistency.

  • Can we just talk about how wrong is calling it “Chai tea” hahahah its like saying “bread bread” but yeah, other recipes sounds good:D (but chai, good lord no no)

  • Coffee is not bad for you in moderate intake it can prevent many things including Parkinson’s and heart disease it’s also packed with immune boosters. Just enjoy in moderation, cold brew is the best it’s the slow brewing method that releases the most amount of great antioxidants

  • Hi! Just wanted to pop on here and say I am loving these recipes! This morning I had some leftover pumpkin in my fridge and decided to mix up a “batch” of the pumpkin mixture, then popped it into some ice cube molds. Turns out those molds hold about 2 tablespoons perfect for one latte! I used 24 tablespoons pumpkin, 1 T of pumpkin spice, 1 tsp of vanilla and 7 T of maple syrup. I figured I could always add more maple syrup, if needed, to the single serve. I now have 12 servings in my freezer waiting on me! Yay!

  • Finally a drink that i can actually try! Coffee and me don’t get along, i get really bad stomach aches and it keeps me up all day until it’s out of my system. I will definitely be making this soon… Can you make more videos that contain chia seeds, that go along with strawberries, bananas etc… Thanks!

  • Can we just talk about how wrong is calling it “Chai tea” hahahah its like saying “bread bread” but yeah, other recipes sounds good:D (but chai, good lord no no)

  • please don’t drink the ginseng things like this as it’s not good for everyone. Those people who without Chinese medicine knowledge are always taking Chinese medicine incorrectly and they are actually poisoning themselves

  • Doc, it doesn’t matter what we do, we’re ALWAYS going to feel beat up. Unless a Japanese girl shows up in a miniskirt. Then we become Superman. You know the effects of Kryptonite.

  • Matcha has been the best for me. I noticed that it brightens my skin and keeps me awake when I need to be,during the night. It may not work for everyone but I get a gradual release, of energy and a gradual decrease of energy, unlike coffee which gives me a major spike in alertness and energy to start with, and then a major crash at the end then I end up feeling shattered after.I only have it once in a while tho.

  • Yerba Mate is one thing I discovered in a natural caffeine product which I’m now currently taking. Haven’t had coffee in almost a year. The caffeine withdrawals for me were a mess too initially but Im so glad I got over it:). I’ve honestly never had this much energy in my life since I started the product.

  • Where do you get the instant coffee? That looks delicious! I can go weeks or months without coffee. But sometimes I just want the taste. I really don’t get a caffeine fix from it. But sometimes it does hurt my stomach. So I want to try this! Thanks!

  • Doctor, here in the UK doctors do look terribly unfit for the most part, I am speaking of the older ones. They often drink like fish, some smoke and have unhealthy lifestyles. When I first saw you on Youtube I did not think you were a doctor because you look so fit. Thank you for your postings which are always very good.

  • I just tried the Salted Caramel and it was delicious! I love coconut flavor so added a bit more coconut oil. It’s was perfect for my liking. Thank you!

  • I have been working out for 30 some odd years consistently. I eat real quality whole foods. I am always learning and trying to improve both my exercise and diet. I just turned 60 and I am in the best shape of my life. I feel really good.. It is so so worth it to take care of yourself and to be as healthy as you can be. I will admit however, that I am guilty of drinking coffee at 1 am sometimes LOL. I really need to improve the quality of my sleep. It could be a lot better. So I look forward to watching your upcoming videos about it:)

  • I’ve been following but I want to record the show. What time and days are the shows. What’s the name of the show. She tried everything hope her tummy was ok.

  • so the obvious question is what is in that bamboo powder? is it safe? organic? healthier than coffee or worse? where to buy it, and can we make it rather than buy some probably overpriced powder.

  • I am a new subscriber and I have yet to check out your full list of videos so please forgive my ignorance for asking but if you don’t yet have a video on the importance of the intrinsic factor in the absorption of vitamin B12 and how it affects the body and energy levels, please do. Thank you.

  • Love this! Haven’t had coffee in three months… but have been tempted definitely going to try this recipe instead!!:-) thanks love♡♡♡

  • Maple syrup has a tremendous amount of sugar; far more than cane sugar. I appreciate you sharing these recipes. Your presentation is clean, clear, and time effective. I appreciate the vegan options. Just check your nutrition facts concerning sugar.

  • Why don’t you share hydroxychloroquine and zinc plus vitamin D are you afraid of the or don’t you know about this for covid-19. Are you afraid what the news will do without solid proof???

  • I don’t know why i am so late to this video and I LOVE IT The only difference is I’m not a coffee drinker so what I do for the pumpkin spice latte or any other drinks like these, I brew a little cup of english breakfast tea and then add it to the mix! It’s perfection

  • The advantage of human contact is a canard that you hear from every “expert” about virtually every malady. The opposite is true for many of us. People sap your energy, not increase it. Social Isolation is salvation to many. Family, friends, and most bureaucratic, patriarchal corporate employment aggravate most mental illnesses, not to mention all the dangers of sitting. to your spine. True health emerges from the love and appreciation of solitude.

  • Maybe I’m wrong but it would seem to me that eating cookies, cakes, and candies provide a far greater sugar spike than sugary drinks. Why? Because these have much less water.

  • Starbucks barista pro tip: introduce the steamed milk to the espresso instead of mixing them while steaming. It creates a nicer consistency.

  • Good doctor… but he didn’t give any connection to s*x…. all that wild and wicked kink s*x drains me tons.   So what to do about the s*x….what are we going to do with the multitudes of women I am s*xing.

  • Go keto, it will give you a good resting sleep, no type 2 diabetes and be full of energy; it take about 10 weeks to become fat adapted.

  • I just got through more than half of the video, and I decided I’m sticking to my opinions. It’s too late to actually be vested in this information. Again, it’s 3am, this is YouTube culture.

  • 06:02 “go for smaller meals, with healthy snacks in between…. to provide your body with fewer blood sugar spikes”
This is one of the worst advice most doctors give because every meal gives a spike and there is no time to let the cortisol drop enough till evening. u dont end up with lowish levels of cortisol in the evening…. (cortisol is also called the wake up hormone so not having low cortisol in evening is not good!)… u use sleep time to regulate cortisol instead of using sleep time to regenerate/rest.

u want less spikes overall… u want less meals…. u want a steady drop of cortisol until evening(no snacking!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ESPECIALLY IF U ARE DIABETIC).
Eat enough but not too much. When u eat too much u initially lose some energy for digestion (u feel like sleeping after a big meal) but later then spikes cortisol & energy.
u want a few hours to not eat before bed time, to sleep with an empty stomach… no digestion during sleep = better sleep (hormone glands can finally take a break from the shitty life habits we have!)

Another thing about exercise… exercise does indeed decreases cortisol if it is low intensity exercise. no longer than 40min bc more affects the heart (so u do indeed feel less energy if u do low intensity exercise)
On the other hand if u want energy u can do high intensity short exercises. (better than drinking coffee…. because running a sprint for 30 sec and getting out of breath sends a message to the subconscios brain to make ur heart&lungs stronger… use it or lose it!)

Here what to do if u have lack of energy:
-sit in high sunlight (increases cortisol+u get vitamins)
-stay outdoors in places where you are more alert of surroundings (forest, mountain, cemetery, etc)
    -eat well but dont overeat!
-change ur bodylanguage, sit straight, chest out, walk ffaster
-take deeper breaths, speak louder, speak faster
-have people near you that are not trying to help u by fixing problems FOR U, but people that are helping u overcome problems by uself.
-use habit stacking to maintain hormonal agitation/momentuum (use the words: “after i (habit u already do), _new habit” u use a habit u already do as a trigger for the new habit and thus.. continue momentuum
i have a few more but it takes too much time to write so gl with this.

  • I’m totally giving the mocha one a try! I’m going to make every single one, don’t get me wrong, but I’m on the mocha train with you.

  • Doc, it doesn’t matter what we do, we’re ALWAYS going to feel beat up. Unless a Japanese girl shows up in a miniskirt. Then we become Superman. You know the effects of Kryptonite.

  • For every 8 oz. of caffeine ingested, you lose 9 oz. of free water; thus, caffeine can lead to dehydration.

For every molecule of sugar consumed, it takes 54 molecules of magnesium for your body to process it, so you might be low in magnesium. Magnesium helps you to feel rested. The reason why soaking in a bath of Epsom salts is relaxing is because it has magnesium in it. Epsom Salts was named after the town of Epsom, England by a physician who discovered magnesium salts there.

Potassium lengthens the resting potential of the cell membrane. If you’re tired, try Oikos plain yogurt which is low in sugar/fat & has potassium in it. You’ll feel alert & rested from the potassium. Magnesium 200-250 mg. helps you to feel rested.

If your sleep hours are erratic, try
No-Jet-Lag: a homeopathic from New Zealand (Amazon).

If you have trouble sleeping, have rice for dinner. Make sure to take a Benedryl 25 mg. at least by 1-2 am before you end up being up all night from insomnia.

  • Coffee is not bad for you in moderate intake it can prevent many things including Parkinson’s and heart disease it’s also packed with immune boosters. Just enjoy in moderation, cold brew is the best it’s the slow brewing method that releases the most amount of great antioxidants

  • My 48 yr old son is an alcohol abuser. He was experiencing sleep apnea. When tested his blood oxygen level was going down to 54 at times. He is now using a breathing machine at night but has not dropped the alcohol use.

  • Hi! How would I make this using a Keurig? I just recently purchased one and I wanna know how I can make cappuccinos and lattes using the shot button, sweet and delicious like these?

  • Hi! I’m coffee addict but now, I’m suffering from anxiety attack and need to avoid caffeine. (I know. Sad.) What can you recommend?! Please help. Thanks!

  • I’m totally giving the mocha one a try! I’m going to make every single one, don’t get me wrong, but I’m on the mocha train with you.

  • I feel like I’m the only one obsessed with the Cinnamon Dulce Latte! Only drink I ever get! Hot or iced it is just dreamy delicious!

  • Good advice, but in regard to socialization, maybe the doctor would like to come visit us and bring some masks with him? ha ha ha?

  • Omg I love it I saw your video like three weeks ago and I had sopped my coffee drinking because I noticed anxiety and fast heart palpitation and also a lot of acid and heart burn and I was looking for something to help me stop drinking coffee so I switched to tea which I got used to already and I’m feeling so much better but I do have those days that I just want a coffee and yesterday I finally received this coffee substitute I was scare to try it because I try teecino and I hated it I didn’t like but once open this one it smells like coffee in a way and when I prepared it omggggg I loved it thank you so much. I had a hard time finding it I dint know where to find it i live in ny and it’s hard to find in my local stores so I ordered in amazon. ❤️☺️ it’s so good

  • according to our “genius” president exercise is the worst thing you can do, we are batteries and when the energy is depleted we die… I guess he saw the matrix and thought it was a documentary.

  • Hello Mike in nov 2019…. Just to let you know that in 4 months the entire world will be doing all of the things you warn against.

  • Good morning i’m excited to try this =) thanks for sharing!! =) where did you find your bambu and chocolate-sugar products? thanks so much again:)

  • I’m losing mitochondria??? I did not know that.
I know about good sleep hygiene, but I didn’t know I’ve been losing mitochondria.:0

    Nerdy guys are the best.:)

  • Dr. Mike thanks for such educative videos. I follow you here from London England. I have been having knee pains and legs muscle pains. I can’t even run. Any recommendations?

  • Can you come up with workable remedy for “FEAR OF TIME” MEETINGS APPOINTMENTS on time. Even FEAR OF BEING TOO EARLY to destinations. Bothers other people. FEARS OF TIME” cause PANIC & ANXIETY DISORDER. HOW CAN WE TURN AROUND TO ENJOY TIME??????? Please?

  • Dumb question, will skipping the pumpkin in the pumpkin spice latte make a huge difference? We don’t get this drink here in Australia

  • Great info, Mike. Thanks. I know most of this, but I guess I keep waiting for some doctor to tell me: “Oh, yeah, we just found out you can drink as much as you like; no problem.” Anyway, looking forward to the series on sleep.

  • Do u have a recipe guide or a cookbook out? You may not have had time to yet but pls look into this option. Maybe each cookbook can come with a detailed reference for calories.. portion and types of foods and sauces. And a month sample menu for clean eating. That may detox. Thank you for all that you do ❤️ jenn

  • I have a new illrostomy bag and I’m told to drink sports drinks often due to high output. Do these drinks keep you awake at night?

  • Dr. Mike, you look tired. Here’s a thought. You can take a power nap which can make a huge difference in the rest of your day. A single 15 minute nap during the day can make a difference in energy levels for the rest of the day, regardless of your food selection intake. If your lucky enough to be able to turn your Rem sleep on and off during a nap can produce even much greater energy after the nap. So add that to your list.

I enjoy your videos and look forward for the next ones.

  • Mocha is my favorite. Caramel next. Chai next and Pumpkin for me is never a choice. Thank you for these!! The caramel recipe sounds perfect. Going to pass these on! Just found your channel today. New sub. Thanks again!!

  • please don’t drink the ginseng things like this as it’s not good for everyone. Those people who without Chinese medicine knowledge are always taking Chinese medicine incorrectly and they are actually poisoning themselves

  • My 48 yr old son is an alcohol abuser. He was experiencing sleep apnea. When tested his blood oxygen level was going down to 54 at times. He is now using a breathing machine at night but has not dropped the alcohol use.

  • As a delivery driver, when I drink caffeinated drinks I can’t feel the pain from running all day and if I bump my leg into something it doesn’t hurt very much. Please explain.

  • For some odd reason, I can drink decaf coffee but not “coffee” coffee lolol. I get migraines and I notice decaf coffee helps but I want to try something else. Especially, before I workout. I need energy, just not the caffeine.

  • Me sitting here at 2am as a night owl full of energy… Guess nightly ppl are what they are…. Its their cycle… Days go drowsy and nights go all attentive…. Just can’t seem to put up with being so drained all the day but I guess thats what it means to be a nightowl….

  • My favorite coffee alternative is Dandy Blend It is made of water-soluble extracts of roasted roots of dandelion, chicory and beets, and the grains of barley and rye. Nothing else is added. This is THE BEST coffee alternative ever! I haven’t had coffee since I found this

  • Hi! How would I make this using a Keurig? I just recently purchased one and I wanna know how I can make cappuccinos and lattes using the shot button, sweet and delicious like these?

  • After exercising 45 minutes a day, I am more tired than ever. Been doing this 6x a week for months. Maybe too much? I’m 70 years old.

  • This looks great, but unfortunately it’s got wheat and gluten in it. I’ve been looking all over for a gluten free coffee substitute and they’re hard to find. The best I can find is dandelion coffee (which I remember having years ago and finding disgusting) or some Teeccino bags of dandelion coffee (but they had bad customer reviews). It’s a shame there’s no gluten free version of Bambu.

  • Guys! Try barley tea!!!!!!! It taste amazing, is low calorie, caffeine free and soooo good for you. It is also called Mugicha and is a Japanese tea. I’m 13 and drinking it right now. I’m really picky tho, so it’s really not that bad!

  • Hi nice video.. I asked the same question under one of your other videos but may be you missed that… I want to know if you used orgain protein powder while being pregnant? I really like it but not sure if I can keep taking it.

  • OMG you’re making want a frap sooo bad. These look AWESOME. All your content is good actually. I’ve been visiting your channel off and on for a while.

  • Yum! I have one organic cuppa day, but I after my one cup I switch to Dandy Blend! Not only is it caffeine-free, but it’s detoxifying as well! Love making lattes with it as well, though mine is not as fancy as yours 😉

  • I feel like I’m the only one obsessed with the Cinnamon Dulce Latte! Only drink I ever get! Hot or iced it is just dreamy delicious!

  • Why not just drink decaffeinated coffee? The amount of caffeine there is really small… And, in the other hand, as any food or drink, coffee also has a lot of benefits.

  • So funny! I am 36 years old and have never been a daily coffee drinker… Until about 3 months ago… I have tried several times to be a daily coffee drinker I guess because I wanted to be cool or something I’m not sure. Haha!! It never worked I would drink it for a few days and just didn’t like it and would stop. So about 3 months ago I started drinking coffee everyday and loved it. The last several nights I’ve been drinking it around dinner time instead of earlier in the day and have had a really hard time sleeping at night.:-(I just bought some decaf coffee that way I wouldn’t have to worry so much about it but I’ve also been considering trying to have something else instead of coffee that would be healthy and hydrate me. Why did I do this to myself??:-) I have tried those cocoa beans but I wasn’t really crazy about the taste but I think if I tried it in a French press and it was Stronger maybe I would like it better:-) how do you sweeten the cocoa beans? I tried a little Stevia but wasn’t totally crazy about it. I normally like sweet coffee so I’m trying to work on that too:-)and I also want to try those other things you mentioned too!! Thank you so much for the video! Perfect timing! Hope you and your husband and sweet baby girl are doing well!

  • It’s been a while since you did this video so hoping you get my question here. Do you still drink this and recommend it,, or have you found something better since? Can you find Bambu in stores where we live, like Walmart, or only at Amazon?

  • I just tried the Salted Caramel and it was delicious! I love coconut flavor so added a bit more coconut oil. It’s was perfect for my liking. Thank you!

  • Good doctor… but he didn’t give any connection to s*x…. all that wild and wicked kink s*x drains me tons.   So what to do about the s*x….what are we going to do with the multitudes of women I am s*xing.

  • I’m a new fan. Loving all your videos and product reviews. We too are from so cal (newport beach) but are traveling full time. I watch your videos in the am with coffee and love them. Keep them coming!!

  • Great video! Thanks for using homemade almond milk. Really love to make my own as well. Interested in checking out your almond creme recipe. Thanks again!

  • There is a cause for everything. I can find the cause and the natural remedy. I have done this successfully for the past 41 years.

  • What a great video! I am extremely sensitive to caffeine and anything that cause energy bursts. Does this Bambu product have any of those effects? Or any effects at all? Thank You. I just subscribed.

  • I researched the product and it doesn’t look gluten-free. Have you noticed any irritability or gluten-side-effects from this product?

  • So the strangest thing happened in 2014. At approximately 2 pm, every day at work, I was so exhausted I wish I had a cot in my office. It turned out to be non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, the surgery for which turned out to be not fully successful as there was a leftover. The tumor was terminal. Well, thanks to Dr. Jenli Waters, and The Lord God Almighty, I am still waking up every morning. Too bad my PCP, Dr. Donald Farrimond, didn’t catch it sooner and too bad Cancer Care Specialist, Dr. Aaron Bowman, didn’t insist we stop the chemo treatments even after the recent MRI showed the tumor, the residual, the resident, had DISAPPEARED. The GOOD thing is is that if I had stayed at the Eldorado I would have lost my job by now as they tended to reduce their employee population based on descending salary. I was up there! Also, they went through the prophesied black-out so God watched out for me the entire time. I am STILL tired every day, and always surprised at the end of the day that I’m STILL HERE (as my song is about). Even the Carano’s couldn’t stop God!!

  • Where do you get the instant coffee? That looks delicious! I can go weeks or months without coffee. But sometimes I just want the taste. I really don’t get a caffeine fix from it. But sometimes it does hurt my stomach. So I want to try this! Thanks!

  • haha, my name’s nikky and I was a coffeeholic
    you crack me up!
Great video! Will need to try this, I used to drink Ovaltine growing up

  • I LOVE coffee absolutely and this looks like an amazing and delicious substitute! Thank you for sahring Nikky:D Yummi and you are so gorgeous:) <3

  • This looks great, but unfortunately it’s got wheat and gluten in it. I’ve been looking all over for a gluten free coffee substitute and they’re hard to find. • I naturally drank energy drinks every single day before I decided to change my eating habits around. It’s true without education I have noticed that it isn’t real energy, not that energy I seek for. It does boost your caffeine which makes you shaky but i still felt drained /sleepy ect. And when I tried going to sleep early I couldn’t sleep. So I forced not to drink no more. I began to drink 2-3 a day because i myself believed it would help but it didn’t. It’ then became to realize I had to educate myself more. Energy drinks do not work it’s an addiction to something elsewhere than your energy. More like stimulating to the nerve system. Which isn’t good for your health. Coffee does not work for me neither –

  • Thank you so much….i love coffee and i have quit due to the negative short and long term outcomes……so thank you…this is so much better and healthier.

  • haha, my name’s nikky and I was a coffeeholic
    you crack me up!
Great video! Will need to try this, I used to drink Ovaltine growing up

  • I’m losing mitochondria??? I did not know that.
I know about good sleep hygiene, but I didn’t know I’ve been losing mitochondria.:0

    Nerdy guys are the best.:)

  • Just found you, love the videos to date. I do pretty well on all you discussed, but daily predawn migraines and use of Fioricet responsibly over the years has just robbed me of any semblance of adequate energy. I have just given up on all medical intervention and tried all the newer drug therapies. I have to constantly push myself, as fatigue rules. Hard to believe that migraine can occur DAILY. I Know only two people personally; it makes for a very challenging life.

  • I absolutely love coffee its my addiction! But recently i made some changes to my life and starting to become a Mormon, which means we are not aloud to drink coffee! Sad i know…. but this video helped me find a new way to drink coffee without it actually being coffee<3

  • Good morning i’m excited to try this =) thanks for sharing!! =) where did you find your bambu and chocolate-sugar products? thanks so much again:)

  • I can’t wait to try these!!! I just have a few questions. How do you store the Carmel and cool whip? Also how long do they last? Oh and how do you get cold pressed coffee? I mean obviously you can buy it but can you make it?

  • Frappuccinos are my favorite drinks in the world. They are like a dessert but I’d take a frappe over any dessert any day. I wish they weren’t so unhealthy because I tried healthy ones and they aren’t the same. They are so good

  • I absolutely love coffee its my addiction! But recently i made some changes to my life and starting to become a Mormon, which means we are not aloud to drink coffee! Sad i know…. but this video helped me find a new way to drink coffee without it actually being coffee<3

  • hey,if anyone else wants to discover
what is the best energy booster
try Xenotolie Flexors Blaster ( search on google )? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my work buddy got excellent results with it.

  • I absolutely LOVE almond milk, though I do use Soy milk quite a bit as well. The vanilla soy is delicious. Really, anything I can sub for regular old super fatty cow milk is the way I go. Another great video here Abbey.

  • Thank you so much….i love coffee and i have quit due to the negative short and long term outcomes……so thank you…this is so much better and healthier.

  • Hi! I’m coffee addict but now, I’m suffering from anxiety attack and need to avoid caffeine. (I know. Sad.) What can you recommend?! Please help. Thanks!

  • Having esophagitis I must go off coffee because it causes reflux, so you’re a Godsend and I do appreciate you uploading this video. Blessings to you and yours.

  • Why not just drink decaffeinated coffee? The amount of caffeine there is really small… And, in the other hand, as any food or drink, coffee also has a lot of benefits.

  • Hi nice video.. I asked the same question under one of your other videos but may be you missed that… I want to know if you used orgain protein powder while being pregnant? I really like it but not sure if I can keep taking it.

  • Mocha is my favorite. Caramel next. Chai next and Pumpkin for me is never a choice. Thank you for these!! The caramel recipe sounds perfect. Going to pass these on! Just found your channel today. New sub. Thanks again!!

  • Dumb question, will skipping the pumpkin in the pumpkin spice latte make a huge difference? We don’t get this drink here in Australia

  • I can’t wait to try these!!! I just have a few questions. How do you store the Carmel and cool whip? Also how long do they last? Oh and how do you get cold pressed coffee? I mean obviously you can buy it but can you make it?

  • My girlfriend is allergic(?) to coffee. Okay well basically she gets severe stomachaches. She doesn’t sleep much anyways so I’m not sure if the coffee is what’s keeping her awake or not, but she LOVES the taste.(She coughs up blood sometimes after drinking it and I’m getting really worried..)She will not stop, so instead I want to try to make a substitute that still tastes like coffee ☕️. I’ll try to edit this comment to say if this works or not. High Hopes!

  • Not even vegan but I love how you include all the different options:)
Ps. First video of yours that I saw and loved it, loved your energy too! <3

  • I used to work swing shift and would work 72 hours a week. I had to come out of work after surgery for Crohns and was recently diagnosed with Systemic Lupus. I still can’t get on a consistent sleep cycle, can you do a video about how to get on a sleep cycle? Thanks, Doc

  • Thx Dani! Maple syrup still elevates my sugar sooo….. if ya know of something else that might be somewhat or equally delish I would certainly appreciate it! #getherdone

  • I can’t wait to try this!!! I stopped drinking Tim Hortons and started using K-Cups in January as an attempt to save some money. Well lol they are so good that I got addicted to the caffine over a very short period. Like you said, I couldn’t skip a day without getting really bad headaches that would not go away unleds I got some caffinee in my system. I cut it out and only drank black tea and matcha for about a week, but was really missing my coffee a day. So I started making smalls and seem to be able to skip a day without a headache. I did not know that this was a thing though lol! I had to share and thank you for sharing!:)

  • Thank you, lots of great information. I believe people should pay attention to their bodies and see which foods, drinks make them really tired and adjust.

  • As a delivery driver, when I drink caffeinated drinks I can’t feel the pain from running all day and if I bump my leg into something it doesn’t hurt very much. Please explain.

  • I just got through more than half of the video, and I decided I’m sticking to my opinions. It’s too late to actually be vested in this information. Again, it’s 3am, this is YouTube culture.

  • After exercising 45 minutes a day, I am more tired than ever. Been doing this 6x a week for months. Maybe too much? I’m 70 years old.

  • I’ve been following but I want to record the show. What time and days are the shows. What’s the name of the show. She tried everything hope her tummy was ok.

  • This is the first time I learn your name! You should probably start all your videos saying “Hi everyone this is Nicky and welcome back to my channel…” just an idea:) Great video!

  • What a great video! I am extremely sensitive to caffeine and anything that cause energy bursts. Does this Bambu product have any of those effects? Or any effects at all? Thank You. I just subscribed.

  • Having esophagitis I must go off coffee because it causes reflux, so you’re a Godsend and I do appreciate you uploading this video. Blessings to you and yours.

  • It’s espresso lol. Not X presso. I love the video though, I used to work at a coffee shop during college and got addicted and now I’m trying to wean myself off.

  • I’ve been without coffee before and I still had energy it’s just that my day was boring. I drink coffee and it makes me feel good emotionally not only physically. I drink a black coffee in the morning and one at night and I sleep like a baby and wake up ready for my coffee then my day. lol

  • I love the idea of coffeeless coffee, b/c I love the flavour and coziness of it, but I’m sooo sensitive to the caffeine. Decaf just turns me off for some reason…I’m gonna look into this herbal coffee thing. Never heard of it. Thanks for the tip:)

  • My favorite coffee alternative is Dandy Blend It is made of water-soluble extracts of roasted roots of dandelion, chicory and beets, and the grains of barley and rye. Nothing else is added. This is THE BEST coffee alternative ever! I haven’t had coffee since I found this

  • Good advice, but in regard to socialization, maybe the doctor would like to come visit us and bring some masks with him? ha ha ha?

  • Thank you so much for the suggestion! I am from Canada and love coffee as well. I am trying to break my habit but starting work at 7am can be difficult without coffee. Now does it give you the alert feeling like how coffee does? I know you said it’s not caffeinated.

  • Guys! Try barley tea!!!!!!! It taste amazing, is low calorie, caffeine free and soooo good for you. It is also called Mugicha and is a Japanese tea. I’m 13 and drinking it right now. I’m really picky tho, so it’s really not that bad!

Yay!

  • Maple syrup has a tremendous amount of sugar; far more than cane sugar. I appreciate you sharing these recipes. Your presentation is clean, clear, and time effective. I appreciate the vegan options. Just check your nutrition facts concerning sugar.

  • Great video! I swapped my coffee for brainzyme a while ago and I won’t be switching back it is so so good and gives you way more energy for longer!

  • Great video! Thanks for using homemade almond milk. Really love to make my own as well. Interested in checking out your almond creme recipe. Thanks again!

  • I researched the product and it doesn’t look gluten-free. Have you noticed any irritability or gluten-side-effects from this product?

  • Finally a drink that i can actually try! Coffee and me don’t get along, i get really bad stomach aches and it keeps me up all day until it’s out of my system. I will definitely be making this soon… Can you make more videos that contain chia seeds, that go along with strawberries, bananas etc… Thanks!

  • When I get up in the morning…first thing…I drink a pint of water with 1/8 tsp of Himalayan salt. Then, I wait 45 minutes before I eat. I jumpstart my day with hydration.

  • hey,if anyone else wants to discover
what is the best energy booster
try Xenotolie Flexors Blaster ( search on google )? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my work buddy got excellent results with it.

  • Omg I’m so beyond happy that I came across this video! I started eating clean almost 5 months ago. My starting weight was 220 and I’m down to 155 . Anyways the only thing I slip on is my salted caramel from Starbucks so thanks so much! I’ll be making this tomorrow for sure. I’m totally addicted to your videos now! ❤️❤️❤️

  • Thanks for the video.

And for everyone that has something mean or is over critical to say, some of you people are so “inner disturbed”.that you just can’t help yourself can you? Your so miserable that a simple coffee video triggers you.

Go get some help, if it ain’t to late for you that is.

  • No one can seem to find where this “drink 8 glasses of water per day” came from…that you are claiming we should do. Do you think it might have begun when your network owners decided to put rat poison in our water and store bought drinks? Fluoride was rat poison for 40 years. You should know that. Thank you for the other information that was good.

  • Frappuccinos are my favorite drinks in the world. They are like a dessert but I’d take a frappe over any dessert any day. I wish they weren’t so unhealthy because I tried healthy ones and they aren’t the same. They are so good

  • If you are saying Chickory tastes like coffee, I wont like none of these. But then you mix your coffee with all kinds of other stuff, so maybe you dont care for the coffee taste.

  • Thanks for the video.

  • according to our “genius” president exercise is the worst thing you can do, we are batteries and when the energy is depleted we die… I guess he saw the matrix and thought it was a documentary.

  • Great video! I swapped my coffee for brainzyme a while ago and I won’t be switching back it is so so good and gives you way more energy for longer!

  • 5,000 IU Vitamin D, B-Complex (a good one), Natural Vitamin C, Ubiquinol, Magensium and Cod Liver Oil. I don’t know why this works but I take it daily and I have what seems like limitless energy. I’m always rested even after 4 hours of sleep, don’t need coffee any longer and I feel amazing all the time. I did combine this with an ultra-low carb diet though. Oh and I never get sick. It has been 4 years on this regiment and haven’t had a cold, flu, nothing.

  • Go keto, it will give you a good resting sleep, no type 2 diabetes and be full of energy; it take about 10 weeks to become fat adapted.

  • No one can seem to find where this “drink 8 glasses of water per day” came from…that you are claiming we should do.

  • I am a new subscriber and I have yet to check out your full list of videos so please forgive my ignorance for asking but if you don’t yet have a video on the importance of the intrinsic factor in the absorption of vitamin B12 and how it affects the body and energy levels, please do. Thank you.

  • I used to work swing shift and would work 72 hours a week. I had to come out of work after surgery for Crohns and was recently diagnosed with Systemic Lupus. I still can’t get on a consistent sleep cycle, can you do a video about how to get on a sleep cycle? Thanks, Doc

  • When I get up in the morning…first thing…I drink a pint of water with 1/8 tsp of Himalayan salt. Then, I wait 45 minutes before I eat. I jumpstart my day with hydration.

  • Why don’t you share hydroxychloroquine and zinc plus vitamin D are you afraid of the or don’t you know about this for covid-19. Are you afraid what the news will do without solid proof???

  • For some odd reason, I can drink decaf coffee but not “coffee” coffee lolol. I get migraines and I notice decaf coffee helps but I want to try something else. Especially, before I workout. I need energy, just not the caffeine.

  • Maybe I’m wrong but it would seem to me that eating cookies, cakes, and candies provide a far greater sugar spike than sugary drinks. Why? Because these have much less water.

Please?

  • Great tips. People should also get their thyroids checked and see if their vitamin D/iron levels are normal. When my thyroid was out of whack, I felt so tired that I wanted to go back to bed by mid morning. After eating a better diet and getting a Vitamix to make lots of fresh fruit and vegetable smoothies, luckily my TSH levels went back to normal to the point where I don’t need medication anymore. Americans eat so much fast food and processed foods but it is no wonder so many are obese and unhealthy, and having issues with fatigue.

  • Not even vegan but I love how you include all the different options:)
Ps. First video of yours that I saw and loved it, loved your energy too! <3

  • There is a cause for everything. I can find the cause and the natural remedy. I have done this successfully for the past 41 years.

  • Thank you so much for the suggestion! I am from Canada and love coffee as well. I am trying to break my habit but starting work at 7am can be difficult without coffee. Now does it give you the alert feeling like how coffee does? I know you said it’s not caffeinated.

  • I’m a new fan. Loving all your videos and product reviews. We too are from so cal (newport beach) but are traveling full time. I watch your videos in the am with coffee and love them. Keep them coming!!

  • I have a new illrostomy bag and I’m told to drink sports drinks often due to high output. Do these drinks keep you awake at night?

  • Love this! Haven’t had coffee in three months… but have been tempted definitely going to try this recipe instead!!:-) thanks love♡♡♡

  • I don’t know why i am so late to this video and I LOVE IT The only difference is I’m not a coffee drinker so what I do for the pumpkin spice latte or any other drinks like these, I brew a little cup of english breakfast tea and then add it to the mix! It’s perfection

  • This is the first time I learn your name! You should probably start all your videos saying “Hi everyone this is Nicky and welcome back to my channel…” just an idea:) Great video!

  • this is great! I’m a huuuuge coffee drinker, not only for its health benefits, but, mostly, for its taste and smell, which are totally addictive and nostalgic to me. however, I hate the effect that caffeine has on me.. my heart starts beating so fast that I start feeling weird and sick instead of energized and awake.. anyways, this is awesome! I never thought about this coffee substitute..

  • Thank you, lots of great information. I believe people should pay attention to their bodies and see which foods, drinks make them really tired and adjust.

  • It’s been a while since you did this video so hoping you get my question here. Do you still drink this and recommend it,, or have you found something better since? Can you find Bambu in stores where we live, like Walmart, or only at Amazon?

  • Great info, Mike. Thanks. I know most of this, but I guess I keep waiting for some doctor to tell me: “Oh, yeah, we just found out you can drink as much as you like; no problem.” Anyway, looking forward to the series on sleep.

  • Thx Dani! Maple syrup still elevates my sugar sooo….. if ya know of something else that might be somewhat or equally delish I would certainly appreciate it! #getherdone

  • Yum! I have one organic cuppa day, but I after my one cup I switch to Dandy Blend! Not only is it caffeine-free, but it’s detoxifying as well! Love making lattes with it as well, though mine is not as fancy as yours 😉

  • Hello Mike in nov 2019…. Just to let you know that in 4 months the entire world will be doing all of the things you warn against.

  • I absolutely LOVE almond milk, though I do use Soy milk quite a bit as well. The vanilla soy is delicious. Really, anything I can sub for regular old super fatty cow milk is the way I go. Another great video here Abbey.

  • It’s espresso lol. Not X presso. I love the video though, I used to work at a coffee shop during college and got addicted and now I’m trying to wean myself off.

  • Dr. Mike thanks for such educative videos. I follow you here from London England. I have been having knee pains and legs muscle pains. I can’t even run. Any recommendations?
