I believe if people are just smarter and more patient then your health would not suffer i used SARMS but only one at a time for a 4 to 6 week then took a brake i went from 120lb 10% body fat to 145lb 6% then in 2 months i did it again now im 160lb 5.7% body fat. most wanting too do this will just in head first using big stacks of 4 or more hormone changing drugs.

  • this guy is the real deal! i havent heard any doc, with this level of detail knowledge on the subject. i went to an endocrinologist on Long Island and i knew way more than him about this stuff. Most docs and endo’s dont have the knowledge and focus on this stuff as they should have. We need more doc’s like this. Using anabolics and T can make you much more healthy, mentally and physically or it can due great harm and kill you, like the case studies (Dallas and Rich).   • I have been using these herbs for a long time, TongKat Ali is like ginseng, very safe to use. TT is another good herb. Compared to AAS these herbs (with effective doses) are the least risky. I stack them during PCT, they work.

  • I was using DHEA 25mg caps. The stuff aromatized on me. My nipples got real sensitive and my emotions went haywire. I had to stop and lay off of it for a while. I was taking it as a mood enhancer. Older men are short on this hormone and that’s what can lead to crabbiness. It works, but now I use 5mg caps maybe once a week. That seems to work just fine.

  • 99% of the testosterone boosters sold over the counter do absolutely nothing. ZERO! I tried all and everything. Bloodwork done throughout. Nothing. Maca root powder was the 1% that did raise test levels. It was hit or miss depending on brand, purity and color. There are three types. Inconsistent at best. Trt for me! GNC will be more than happy to sell you a ton of garbage that does nothing.

  • To all guys who take herbal test boosters, or took pro-hormones that were sold widely during the 1990’s through 2010, over years your endogenous testosterone production will fall. The boosters increase free test but not overall test levels. You will suppress your own test, and after a few years you’re shut down. I took that stuff all during my 30’s during the 1990’s as did all my gym rat buddies. Now my test levels are under 200 and I have to take 150-200mg test per week for the rest of my life, along w some HCG occasionally to prevent shrinkage/atrophy.
    Sure I’ve done some real 10-11 week cycles over the years, but I believe it’s the length of time you use these compounds that cause permanently lowered endogenous testosterone production. It’s just the way it is….there is no miracle solution. Testosterone is fine and I think almost all otherwise healthy aging men will be taking it in the future

  • Lot’s of good info here. However, one really needs to look at “androgen receptors” and the relationship between that and Test. There is a linear relationship between Test and muscle mass in which androgen receptors play a significate role. Meaning you can raise your Test, but with out adequate androgen receptor uptake you may not get the results you are looking for. Also free testosterone is the number you are looking for when evaluating Test in your system. Get a blood test. Then go from there. Perhaps a deep dive video into androgen receptors would be a good followup to this one. P.S. Not A Doctor, Not An Expert just a casual observer.

  • Is it safe to get sun and take D3 every day? I live in Texas and play golf and have a pool so I get enough sun.   • I’m a 61 yr old on TRT.
    I can attest to the quality of life having the T levels of a 25 yr old at 61.
    I go to the gym 4 to 5 times wkly, minimal body fat, mental clarity,and a all round feeling good.
    I see the huge difference in my friends who are sedentary, unmotivated, slumping shoulders, depression etc.
    TRT definitely works wonders for low T levels men.

  • Not sure I agree that doctors give DHT to shrink the prostate. The prescribe Dutasteride to shrink the prostate and Dutasteride is a 5AR inhibitor preventing T conversion to DHT. So I’m confused.

  • I guess I am not normal, but I have had low T for decades, below 300, been on TRT for a year keeping it in the 900-1200 range for total and top of the range for free, but ive felt no different, I can’t say my lifting has improved, mood, sleep, energy, nothings changed despite my blood work being spot on whenever I check it. I guess for as its still in the normal range expect normal things. Maybe steroid high levels would make a noticeable difference?

  • A western doctor talking about the dangers of herbs? I’ll take my advice from Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese medical doctors. The only thing western doctors are good at are ordering tests and prescribing pharmaceutical drugs. I have a doctor like that, and I love using him just for the test results.   • I disagree. You only TRASH fenugreek because it doesn’t act like a steroid does. But it DOES increase strength and libido better than you WOULD have without it. Period!

  • Excellent info here! Surprised you didn’t go into fasting and the HGH boost (in release frequency) from the pituitary gland as soon as 16 hours into a fast. I would assume it’s more than just HGH that gets a boost from that gland during more aggressive fasting attempts. The body naturally attempts to protect itself from degeneration when food supply is nonexistent so this makes me think more about the hormonal effects of aggressive fasting beyond just the HGH benefits I already knew about:)

  • Bull shit if your over 50, the only way to raise testosterone you must do it medically. Your urologist can prescribe effective TRT. I am 60 I only pay $200 month and within 3 weeks my level went from 250 to 1100.
    The only problem is that i think and want sex all the time.

  • 1. Do not use keto, it is full of cortisol. GH without insulin is nothing, you need insulin to make with GH, IGF1. Intermitent fasting is full of cortisol but at least you can have IGF1 if you eat carbs too.
    Which profesional bodybuilder uses keto or intermitent fasting? No one. Keto is for people who can’t put the fork down.

  • I have used your info on intermediate fasting and in 4 months lost 17 lbs skipping breakfast. I ate at 12:00 & just before 6:00 everyday. However at around 5 months noticed weight coming back on mid section even though I still was keeping the weight down. I also noticed my hair thinning too.
    What gives? Am I not getting enough protein? I have started using the stinging nettle root plus a b complex vitamin but probable to soon to notice yet.
    I am nearing 65 and been at it for 28 years but starting to get a little discouraged about my low drive and the difficulty to maintain muscle and strength. I’am willing to try something but I just don’t know what exactly to try. How about foods that can raise your testosterone levels. What proteins do you recommend? What about whey protein? Every time I try it my joints start to kill me. Will raising my T and lowering my cortisol stop the joint pain?
    I refuse to believe that I am beyond solving this problem.
    Could it be I am loosing some vital nutrients or have too much cortisol or both?
