Could you make some tropical inspired salad in a jar next? i love your videos but i don’t live where you live. So the stuff you mentioned are very expensive here ^^a
You’ve encouraged me to eat way more healthy than what I used to. Now I enjoy my fruits and vegetables so much so that I create my own salads and dressings:) Greetings from Chile!
I’m so trying the veggie ranch this week! I may have to use various color bell peppers orange, red and yellow since I usually buy a multicolor bag. Planning to make four servings of it. I’ve been looking for more ways to incorporate salad in my meals. I used to love salad and lately I don’t have a taste for it.
You are probably one of the only you tubers that I will watch the ENTIRE video. I love your intros they are so funny and your so cute! I just can’t get enough of you!!

A couple of days ago, a search for an almond milk recipe led me to your channel. I’m so glad I found you. I’m enjoying watching your videos. Thank you!
hey Jamie! I really liked the video, however, it seems that everybody else is doing the meal prep thing just the same food everyday which I find horrible. Anyway, can you maybe make a video for meal prep for a whole week, using same set of groceries just on a different way? For example, you used a potato in a salad for Monday, but for Friday you used it in a roasted veggie mix ( I don’t know, I’m making this up)? Anyway, since I’m not a cook and maybe you are up for a challenge…Anyway, cheers and love from Croatia!

Hi Dani, I started doing the jars this week but I used the larger jars. Does the smaller jars satisfy you or is this just a side salad with extra protein?
Honestly, I thought that you are a bit creepy, cause you’re all the time so happy about everything but actually I fall in love with the way you are! You are so kind, very enthusiastic and I can imagine that some people are a bit inspired of you to make these recipes. I actually did it and took my jar out in the lecture hall (but I have a wider and also lower jar, so it’s easier to get into with a fork) and the people around me were kinda surprised and some of them are also envious at the same time (after 4 hours of lecture and without pause). BTW: I mixed all ingredients before a bit up, cause it’s kinda dumb to shake a jar in the middle of my lecture, like I were twerking so it isn’t only a preparation, when I’m coming home. Just turned my jar on the head for few minutes, let the dressing comes down, turned it again, opened it and enjoyed my lunch! But I’ve a question: Who’s the person, who has to enjoy all the stuff you made? I would be so lucky to have someone like you!:D PS: Don’t stop with your vids, they’re awesome!:)
Hey Dani, i really love this salad in a jar idea. And the salads look really pretty. I want to try this ASAP. Question is, how long i can keep them in a fridge? Will they last 1 week? Thank you, can’t wait for your new videos:)
The Stupendous Color Spectrum Salad! We’re always supposed to eat many colors, right? Plus more colors mean more nutrienets, it is self explainitory:) and because it is your recipe, it is stupendous!
I’m having this beet and goat-cheese salad today and I can’t wait for lunch! 25 minutes to go. your sweet champagne vinaigrette is my go-to dressing these days. Thanks so much for all your tips and tricks.
Do you not have to replace the lids on these jars every so often? I bought some mason jars and read that part of the lid only lasts once and the other part should last up to 10 uses. Is this right?
That chipotle tofu looks freakin delicious! A year ago you would’ve never heard me say that sentence out loud unless it was heavily laced with sarcasm. I have definitely crossed over.
Hi! Great recipes! I tried some of them, and I now have a quick question, maybe you’ll have a quick fix… How do yu keep the avocados from browning in the jar???
Yes, These salads are what I make all the time. So great to show others how healthy! Everything in these are good for diabetics to bring them out of the disease. As an RN, Your ingredients are what are in the 8 week Blood sugar diet. I have lost 10 lbs in two and a half weeks. Nuts, greens, pears, small amounts of cheese, black beans, carrots, onions, good meats like pork loin, roasted chicken, 92 % ground beef, goat cheese, etc…nothing processed. Awesome job!
what wonderful idea it’s gonna saves me a lot of time but i have a question can u boil rice like 200 gram of cooked rice and then put it in jar do i only need to add hot water to it or should i use another way to reheat it? plz answer love your videos
So happy I found your channel. I watched one video and subscribed immediately. Thanks so much for the different options for the food. Please come out with more great recipes.
I made the o/nite oatmeal for the first time with almond milk no yogurt, frozen berriesand mango. it was wonderful. Next time I plan to add no/fat Kefir instead of yog. Now I can’t wait to make a bottled salad. However I will “ALWAYS” leave room at the top for dark leafy greens.
I know this is a stupid question but do you eat the salad from the jar itself or pour it out? LOVE LOVE LOVE your videos btw! I am so obsessed and watching all your vids on a marathon!! (:
You’ve encouraged me to eat way more healthy than what I used to. Now I enjoy my fruits and vegetables so much so that I create my own salads and dressings:) Greetings from Chile!
Could you make some tropical inspired salad in a jar next? i love your videos but i don’t live where you live. So the stuff you mentioned are very expensive here ^^a
Food inspiring, super healthy, colorful, delicious, fiber, carbohydrates, protein and balanced vitamins, all within a glass jar in less than 15 minutes ready to take to work in an easy to make and fun lunch box that will let you well with his health and his colleagues mouth water! Thanks for sharing these great ideas +Jamie!
I tried the whole salad in a jar thing after just seeing them all over my pinterest. Used a 1 litre jar and it overflowed out of my very large soup bowl. The people I work with thought it was super pretty in the jar and for some reason it just seemed to taste…better? Definitely give the taco recipe here a whirl!
Hello! I love your videos and I am now obsessed with making food in mason jars! I was just wondering: do you store the salad dressings (when you make them separately) in the fridge? Or do you leave them out? Also, if you make salads and put them in the fridge, will the oil in the dressing eventually “defrost”? Because it gets all hardened when it gets cold.
I officially love your channel. Finally someone who talks clearly, easy to follow and the quality of your video is amazing. I too have done a marathon of your videos and written down some many of your recipes down. Thank you:)
Dear mr jamie oliver Can you make a video about protien cook to perfection? Everytime i follow your guide is ok but sometimes diffrent cut of meat i just cant handle
I know this is a stupid question but do you eat the salad from the jar itself or pour it out? LOVE LOVE LOVE your videos btw! I am so obsessed and watching all your vids on a marathon!! (:
Wow these look so delicious! I don’t really like salads very much (which has made dieting rather difficult in the past), but I sure do like pasta lol. I’ll definitely have to give these a try, especially that first one!
Anyone put garlic in their salad? I love garlic, and I do roast (as well as uncooked), and by all that is holy I pity the guy sitting next to me before I get to go brush my teeth after lunch.
Looks great, but, how the hell are you supposed to eat it? Top down you get a bunch of DRY veg and protein. Then you get hammered with all of the dressing at one time! Followed by a semi-wet bottom part. I mean I guess you could shake it up before eating, but the dressing still is not going to coat the very top.
what I like: salad, cucumber, tomatoes, greek yoghurt, cashew nuts or sesame, chicken slices, lots of pepper, some salt, half a squeezed lemon. I always take an apple, but I fail at adding tasty carbohydrates because I don’t like cold pasta or rice. So instead, I bring a self-made cereal bar.
I found you by looking for a video on how to cut a pineapple. Took a deeper look and glad I did. Your salad ideas are excellent and I can see there’s lots more and your videos are very current. I think I’m going to like your channel!
If you want to use a covered bowl…Line the bottom of your salad bowl with paper towels. The paper towels absorb the moisture. Your salad will stay fresh & crisp for 5 days.
Sorry I’m a bit confused why is important to use a mason jar or can I use any glass or plastic jar. And then when we use surely the bottom of the jar is going to bring the food to the top. Or perhaps you to use it all in one go. Thanking you in advance.
This is so great! This will help me eat the salad greens I buy that usually are wilted by the time I want to eat them (bcuz they are in the crisper and I forget them). Can’t wait to try!
I found your channel just today and I am literally OBSESSED by your recipes I think your ideas are brilliant!I am Greek and love the fact many of your recipes or ideas are Greek inspired lots of love from Germany!!!!
Brilliance! I love it 4 years later. I can shake and pour when serving to ensure everything is coated with dressing. This is perfection without over consumption of dressing, which I always do. Thank you Lacey
Can you tell me where you got the white funnel that you have on top of the jars please. I want to make these and you make it look so easy with that to help you get everything in without the mess
All of them look delicious but I love the first one, possibily cause it has all the common favourite (salad bar) ingredients in it, and for the second one I imagine using spelt (if wheat berries are not found) is OK? and for the 3rd one I imagine Coliflower Salad will be an appropriate name.
Lacey this is such a wonderful idea! I love meal preps, and salads are always challenging to make ahead. I am going to now buy some extra long forks for on-the-go eating 😉
hey, may i ask which type of mason jars you use (like how big they are, where you got them and if you could also get them on the internet??), cause i lreally love them
Thanks these are great I have always loved salads, probably because all members of my family always made a salad to every meal we ate, whilst I was growing up. My favourite dressing is a homemade mix of avocado oil lemon, lime, black pepper and ground jalapeño green pepper or chilli pepper tastes amazing!!
The Stupendous Color Spectrum Salad! We’re always supposed to eat many colors, right? Plus more colors mean more nutrienets, it is self explainitory:) and because it is your recipe, it is stupendous!
I totally wish there was a item list so I could make an easier shopping list haha. I love these. I am making all of them and gonna alter the tuna slightly but these are awesome and so quick. Thank you!!!!!

A couple of days ago, a search for an almond milk recipe led me to your channel. I’m so glad I found you. I’m enjoying watching your videos. Thank you!
Love it, I also do a Japanese soup jars with, ramen, udon, saba noodles, veg, miso and chicken bouillon paste -add fresh ginger and whatever fresh herbs you like on top. Put the kettle to boil at work, pour, seal with lid 3-4 mins and its fabulous!
I make these for lunch. My god do i get office envy (the books description does forewarn this). After you get the hang of it you can get creative and do your own and use up any left overs you have.

Since I am vegetarian, what could I substitute the meat in the salad for to get protein. I hate tofu, so is there any other options that go well with salads.
I wonder if, instead of pouring the salad onto a plate, you shake the bottle to get the sauce everywhere and then open the jar and eat the salad straight from the jar. It’s salad to go!
Made the taco salad for lunch today and followed the lime cilantro dressing recipe and let me just say, AMAZING. So delicious and satisfying. The dressing really hit it out of the park.Totally recommend!!!!
Dani I would call your last salad because of ginger and other detoxifying ingredients “colorful detox salad” or just simply “vitamin explosion” Thank you so much for delicious salad ideas
Jamie, fantastic recipes, but I could not understand which ingredient you put after virgin oil and yoghurt. Could you write down, please! At home we love your recipes. Congrats and thanks for sharing!
I have always heard that it is the metal in the knife that turns the lettuce brown. If you use a plastic knife, or maybe ceramic, it helps to prevent that.
The last salad is definitely something you’d order off a menu called “The Spies Ultimate” because it has ultimately everything you need for a super nutritious lunch salad. Handcrafted by Chef Spies of course!
for the people asking, I mine in a tupper ware container to eat. the reason I like the mason jars is that I can make for the whole week and use my vacuum seal with adaptor and it keeps it fresh all week.
You know sometimes I think, “why does my favorite kitchen pixie call herself a GEEK?” Then you say something like “OLIVE THE FLAVOR” and I am reminded….cus you’re bleeping AWESOME,!
So happy I found your channel. I watched one video and subscribed immediately. Thanks so much for the different options for the food. Please come out with more great recipes.
This is So smart. They are AMAZING for transporting them as gifts or just taking them somewhere with you like on a long journey. Healthy and easy to eat!:) P.s I would appreciate it a lot if you give me a link to a Cake video you have made. If you havent made a video about how to make a cake, Can you please make some. (example, Rainbow cake, Valentines cake, christmas cake) Sorry if You have already made some I didnt see it, I am so blind sometimes!
I think this is a great idea! When you fill it to the top & seal it tight, the air can’t get in. And as long as it is in the fridge, I think it could last at least 3-4 days. Just don’t let air in the jar!
Dear mr jamie oliver Can you make a video about protien cook to perfection? Everytime i follow your guide is ok but sometimes diffrent cut of meat i just cant handle
Hi took your idea and made a salad in a mason jar with out salad dressing in bottom. I had so many people at work tell me what a great idea!! I have 1 question…if the salad is in the fridge in a mason jar does it need to be vacuum sealed? will it last 5 days without wilting? The honey mustard dressing looks delicious.. I will try it.
I love your salad videos! Really inspiring me to plan meals, which seems to be the key to not falling in decadent culinary mistakes. You also somehow remind me of Anna Faris. Which is cool.

So i know she is making a lot of faux pas in regards to storing items in jars, but has anyone tried combining these kinds of things with Vacuum sealers?
I made the Cobb salad and I am so impressed with the product. I took it to work and everyone was so jealous because it looked beautiful in the mason jar and it looked and tasted so delicious. Please keep making videos. Can you make some more lunch inspired videos ❤️
what a brillient simple idea, will be making these for my wifes lunch, great as they keep ingredients seperated & stop the lettuce getting logged with the dressing, when in a plastic container, awsome thank you.
I’m hooked! Thanks for your healthy recipes, making things very easy and saying what can be substitutes in or out of the recipes. You’re awesome! Much success!
I would suggest: kidney beans at the bottom, lettuce, sweet corn, olives, smoked mackerel, prawns or tuna, and dried flat bread at the top, with; of course,: olive oil ( with mince garlic) and lime juice & black pepper dressing.
this is a great idea for my kid’s school lunches. I would probably use the same ideas and make them in a smaller jar for them. thanks for this video. It will make lunches a little more fun for them as they would have to shake it first and then eat it. only problem now that I’m thinking of it is that the jars are glass. will need to find some plastic containers. lol
The food do go bad. Many of these videos are made because they look good and fun, but aren’t actually practical. Many you tubers jump on the idea cause it’s wonderfully visual like art and we eat through our eyes. It’s just like the clean fridge hack by lining your fridge with paper. Utterly gross and it does not stop your fridge from needing the same effort of clean if not more, encourages waste and does not actually look good. Be critical of what you see on screen, an old advice that adults seem to have forgotten. It’s all click bait and why when I visit a YouTuber who gives failed advice to get me to click, I then ban all their videos from my feed. Untrustworthy. I am tired of lies every time you watch a screen.
I love your salad videos! Really inspiring me to plan meals, which seems to be the key to not falling in decadent culinary mistakes. You also somehow remind me of Anna Faris. Which is cool.
I don’t see the point in placing them in a jar. It’s clumsy to prepare (imo)?Definitely agree with the oatmeal overnight breakfast in the mason jar, but not this:) looks good though
Hi, I’m actually watching this in 2016, I just discovered your channel through “DoitonaDime”, and was very intruiged. Your one pot pasta meals seem great, and I can’t wait to try them out! I could hear (at least I think) that you are Canadian? Well, I’m from Belgium, but my uncle emigrated to Whitby, Ontario in the fifties! I used to spend a lot of my summer holidays there, since my dad passed away when I was only four. I loved it there! Some pretty good, warm memories… Now, my uncle has passed away, too, and I have to grown kids of my own, so I basicly never went back…too busy. Iwas wondering what kind of jars you use, and if they’re available online (worldwide shipping, of course). Thank you so much for all of this!

Worst knife-handling ever. No wonder you cut yourself. Ask your rich oligarch parents or your sugar-daddy to buy you a lesson in basic knife skills and you won’t get cut again.
539 Calories,carbs,pasta,british.:-) full up.amazing!^^ grab best up olive oil.:-P zero.two.ability.protein.:-) booze.thanks.Toss around,brush around.:-) my expression office envy.

Hi Jamie, I have watched you keep on cooking with your heart for many years, and trying to help others so often. I’m a vegan and I like your ideas, cos you love preparing food. Just keep doing it with your great big heart. Many Blessings to you and yours mate.
What would you recommend as an alternative dressing for the Cobb Salad. I am not a fan of Blue Cheese but I like the combination of ingredients in the Cobb Salad. Hence looking for an alternate dressing. Thanks!
Not hating but man,I couldn’t get further than a couple of minutes (because of your incredibly nasal voice). Also you should decide if you’re from the US or Canada. Oot. ALSO the first ‘salad’ you made wasn’t really a salad was it? It was a meal, in a jar. Chicken, egg and bacon “salad”…? Is this what you americans call a salad? No wonder you’re the fattest country on the planet! Like I said, not hating, just pointing out a couple things…
Hi, do you just wash or wash and dry really good all your veggies and fruit? is drying of the veggies after you wash them important so they don’t go bad sooner?
Hello im watching this video from south korea! I think idea of having salad in a jar is amazing!!! It looks so much pretty n easy. Thanks for ur healthy cook recipe:)
I feel salads Should be eaten fresh..if the ingredients are chopped n kept in fridge for sm later dates, I guess oxidation process might set in which might not b good for the health..

Your so cute. I love the video. Please keep your voice up. Some of it you took your voice down lower, and I could hear you. Are the noodles hard in the salad? Thanks.
I hate vegatables, always have and always will. My mouth hates them, to be exact, I would love to like them but I doubt that I ever will.:( I am following a Mediterranian diet and I’m healthy and happy with my diet:) To each their own, like I always say! Love your channel Evelina, but I would like to see more cooking videos, maybe some fish meals, as you said you like fish:) LOVE YOU xoxo
hey, may i ask which type of mason jars you use (like how big they are, where you got them and if you could also get them on the internet??), cause i lreally love them
No, best salads are fresh salads. How hard can it be to chop clean lettuce and vegetables also make a dressing? You can do that while the meat is frying in the pan.15 min job?
Made the taco salad for lunch today and followed the lime cilantro dressing recipe and let me just say, AMAZING. So delicious and satisfying. The dressing really hit it out of the park.Totally recommend!!!!

Rock on Jamie. Would make your salad veganised by having cashew cream to replace the cream in your recipe, perhaps have marinated tempe instead of dead animal flesh or even smoked tofu. Hope I’m not being disrespectful as I’m a fan, just you did ask.
How about “the lava temptation”? because just like lava it will make its (healthy) mark on everything that crosses its path. Just to see it as a huge impact on your life when you are choosing to eat clean. Just as people will envy you when you sit there eating the lava temptation salad because it looks so powerful and pretty. ☀ All the best to you Danni and thank you for your videos! ❤

Hi! Great recipes! I tried some of them, and I now have a quick question, maybe you’ll have a quick fix… How do yu keep the avocados from browning in the jar???
Can you store the salad from the plastic container in a Mason jar without dressings for example spring mix and if so how long can you store it in the Mason jar
Hey Dani, i really love this salad in a jar idea. And the salads look really pretty. I want to try this ASAP. Question is, how long i can keep them in a fridge? Will they last 1 week? Thank you, can’t wait for your new videos:)

Since I am vegetarian, what could I substitute the meat in the salad for to get protein. I hate tofu, so is there any other options that go well with salads.
OMG!! So delicious!! I made one salad in a jar today for my lunch at work!! lettuce, spinach, carrots, one hard boiled egg, cherry tomatoes, celery, black and green olives and I added some tuna!!! It was so amazing, tomorrow I’m gonna make another one!! you are so inspiring!!! I love your receipes!!! I love yur channel!! I’m a big fan!.. Ohh! I’m from Peru by the way!!!:)

I love how healthy and portable this is, but it’s a lot of ingredients. I would probably just do couscous, grilled veggies, and some type of protein, maybe a poached chicken breast.
Hi Dani, I started doing the jars this week but I used the larger jars. Does the smaller jars satisfy you or is this just a side salad with extra protein?
today I had your taco salad (without a jar) and it was sooooo delicious! especially the dressing is just amazing I’ll definately try the other recipes too:-)

great recipes! I have only one question: isn’t it better to put the light things on the top of the heavier ones? because the lettuce is so light and full of water, doesn’t it become squishy when you put it between the pasta and the meat? Otherwise I’ll make them for university, thank you

Hi Lacey, what a fabulous idea. I always get lazy whenever I planning to cut fruits, vegetable and chicken for making salad on daily basis but now I have your amazing idea. I will surely make it but my only concern is about Jars, I am leaving in Dubai so do you have any idea from where I will get them. thanks
Jamie, fantastic recipes, but I could not understand which ingredient you put after virgin oil and yoghurt. Could you write down, please! At home we love your recipes. Congrats and thanks for sharing!

These look delicious. Could I make the honey mustard vegan by using agave or maple syrup. I know that it would technically no longer be “honey mustard,” but do you think the flavor would still be similar?
for less mess on the counter (personally i just use the opportunity for a snack break)…lol, use a wide-mouth funnel to load jars. 😉
Could you make some tropical inspired salad in a jar next? i love your videos but i don’t live where you live. So the stuff you mentioned are very expensive here ^^a
I absolutely LOVE YOU! The entire time you were making the salads I was thinking to myself….How do you eat these? And of course you covered it
You’ve encouraged me to eat way more healthy than what I used to.
I love mason jar salads. I make them for my mom and she brings them to work. you can add store bought rotisserie chicken too
Have you ever watched Peaceful Cuisine? If not, please do. He has a lot of super clean and healthy recipes. All vegan and all (or mostly) organic.
You are probably one of the only you tubers that I will watch the ENTIRE video. I love your intros they are so funny and your so cute! I just can’t get enough of you!!
539 Calories,carbs,pasta,british.:-) full up.amazing!^^ grab best up olive oil.:-P zero.two.ability.protein.:-) booze.thanks.Toss around,brush around.:-) my expression office envy.

These salads look delicious.. I would call your last salad Garden Bite salad because it reminds me of everything I would grow in a veggie garden
Salad in jars are FUN to make and visually inspiring to see all the colors!! You could name the last jar “Spice-o-licious since ginger has a kick!:)
Plus more colors mean more nutrienets, it is self explainitory:) and because it is your recipe, it is stupendous!
thanks for the video!!! I went out and bought meatless vegan meat and its so delicious!!! no more ground turkey when I make my lettuce tacos!!!
I’m having this beet and goat-cheese salad today and I can’t wait for lunch! 25 minutes to go. your sweet champagne vinaigrette is my go-to dressing these days. Thanks so much for all your tips and tricks.
These easy, yummy salad jars are perfect to add to your meal prep on the weekend so you can have healthy delicious salads ready to go when you are!
I absolutely LOVE YOU! The entire time you were making the salads I was thinking to myself….How do you eat these? And of course you covered it
Do you not have to replace the lids on these jars every so often? I bought some mason jars and read that part of the lid only lasts once and the other part should last up to 10 uses. Is this right?
weird question.. dont kill me but how do you eat this?
like top to bottom or do you shake the jar before eating?
many thanks in adance lol
it looks amazing & i like the idea but..how do you eat it? if you eat it straight from the jar you won’t get the dressing until is too late…
That chipotle tofu looks freakin delicious! A year ago you would’ve never heard me say that sentence out loud unless it was heavily laced with sarcasm. I have definitely crossed over.
Hi!
Great recipes! I tried some of them, and I now have a quick question, maybe you’ll have a quick fix…
How do yu keep the avocados from browning in the jar???
Thanks!
Great Recipes for salads! I was wondering can we use these salad dressings, as marinades for chicken or meat or fish or tofu? Thanks
I love mason jar salads. I make them for my mom and she brings them to work. you can add store bought rotisserie chicken too
what wonderful idea it’s gonna saves me a lot of time but i have a question can u boil rice like 200 gram of cooked rice and then put it in jar do i only need to add hot water to it or should i use another way to reheat it?
plz answer love your videos
Hmmmm I like these salads but the Cobb one I’d think needs to nw consumed sooner, like within a day. Chicken, egg and avocado spoil quite rapidly.
Thanks so much!:)
Okay, I know that mason had foods are hella tumblr and Instagram worthy, but they are soo not practical, use a wide bowl or Tupperware man
Where in the jar would you add chicken? I’m new to salad in a jar:) that last salad looks amazing but I am useless at naming things
I officially love your channel. Finally someone who talks clearly, easy to follow and the quality of your video is amazing. I too have done a marathon of your videos and written down some many of your recipes down. Thank you:)
Dear mr jamie oliver
Can you make a video about protien cook to perfection?
Everytime i follow your guide is ok but sometimes diffrent cut of meat i just cant handle
I love a roasted sweet potato (tosted with cumin), lentils, spinach, grated carrot and feta, and often some leftover chicken goes in too.
I mean I guess you could shake it up before eating, but the dressing still is not going to coat the very top.
brown rice-pumpkin-baby spinach-tomato-seared tuna-basil/Italian seasoning-balsamic vinegar-dijon mustard-flaxseed-strawberry(if fruit is a must)
what I like: salad, cucumber, tomatoes, greek yoghurt, cashew nuts or sesame, chicken slices, lots of pepper, some salt, half a squeezed lemon. I always take an apple, but I fail at adding tasty carbohydrates because I don’t like cold pasta or rice. So instead, I bring a self-made cereal bar.
Dear sir,
Inme se ek bhi sabzi easily available and desi nahi hai.
Home cooking me important ye hai ki cheeze easy hoon.
Anyways this is not a recipe video, rather it is a commercial for Nutralite
I found you by looking for a video on how to cut a pineapple. Took a deeper look and glad I did. Your salad ideas are excellent and I can see there’s lots more and your videos are very current. I think I’m going to like your channel!
If you want to use a covered bowl…Line the bottom of your salad bowl with paper towels. The paper towels absorb the moisture. Your salad will stay fresh & crisp for 5 days.
Someday hopefully I will be lucky to have your dishes. You are making delicious recipes I learnt alot and followed your tips in #kukuskitchen
Can’t wait to try!
for less mess on the counter (personally i just use the opportunity for a snack break)…lol, use a wide-mouth funnel to load jars. 😉
The only thing I’d change, when sharing your written recipes, would you put the ingredients in the same order as in the jar?
I’m excited to try your dressing and salad ideas! Thank you for sharing!
All of them look delicious but I love the first one, possibily cause it has all the common favourite (salad bar) ingredients in it, and for the second one I imagine using spelt (if wheat berries are not found) is OK? and for the 3rd one I imagine Coliflower Salad will be an appropriate name.
Someday hopefully I will be lucky to have your dishes. You are making delicious recipes I learnt alot and followed your tips in #kukuskitchen
Lacey this is such a wonderful idea! I love meal preps, and salads are always challenging to make ahead. I am going to now buy some extra long forks for on-the-go eating 😉
hey, may i ask which type of mason jars you use (like how big they are, where you got them and if you could also get them on the internet??), cause i lreally love them
What is this white cone tool called. I can’t seem to find one. This would really make it easier for pouring ingredients into the jar.
So glad I found your channel, really loving the different salad combos and overnight oats. I’m a bit of an oat/oatmeal freak lol. Thank you!
Wallnuts&blackberries&goat cheese. Oh-my-god, so goood!
Also some roasted foie gras and orange glaze work surprisingly well in a salad!
I totally wish there was a item list so I could make an easier shopping list haha. I love these. I am making all of them and gonna alter the tuna slightly but these are awesome and so quick. Thank you!!!!!
Yes, These salads are what I make all the time. So great to show others how healthy! Everything in these are good for diabetics to bring them out of the disease.
Hmmmm I like these salads but the Cobb one I’d think needs to nw consumed sooner, like within a day. Chicken, egg and avocado spoil quite rapidly.

Totally clever way to have things ready for a busy day or week. Thanks, making life easier is what it’s all about. Thank you for sharing.
for the people asking, I mine in a tupper ware container to eat. the reason I like the mason jars is that I can make for the whole week and use my vacuum seal with adaptor and it keeps it fresh all week.
Salad in jars are FUN to make and visually inspiring to see all the colors!! You could name the last jar “Spice-o-licious since ginger has a kick!:)
You know sometimes I think, “why does my favorite kitchen pixie call herself a GEEK?” Then you say something like “OLIVE THE FLAVOR” and I am reminded….cus you’re bleeping AWESOME,!
I made the caesar chicken salad and it was awesome!!! <3 shaking the jar was fun
please do more pasta salads ^-^ oh and i love your puns xD
So happy I found your channel. I watched one video and subscribed immediately. Thanks so much for the different options for the food. Please come out with more great recipes.
I made the veggie ranch jar this weekend…. Oh my gosh!! Sooooo delicious, loved it!!! Thank you for sharing these recipes!! I enjoy all your videos!!
This is So smart. They are AMAZING for transporting them as gifts or just taking them somewhere with you like on a long journey. Healthy and easy to eat!:)
P.s I would appreciate it a lot if you give me a link to a Cake video you have made. If you havent made a video about how to make a cake, Can you please make some. (example, Rainbow cake, Valentines cake, christmas cake) Sorry if You have already made some I didnt see it, I am so blind sometimes!
What colours, appreciate God more then ever, what a genius he is and what an artist you are, amazingly creative, inspiring and fulfilling food!
I think this is a great idea! When you fill it to the top & seal it tight, the air can’t get in. And as long as it is in the fridge, I think it could last at least 3-4 days. Just don’t let air in the jar!
Dear mr jamie oliver

Hi took your idea and made a salad in a mason jar with out salad dressing in bottom. I had so many people at work tell me what a great idea!! I have 1 question…if the salad is in the fridge in a mason jar does it need to be vacuum sealed? will it last 5 days without wilting? The honey mustard dressing looks delicious.. I will try it.
I love your salad videos! Really inspiring me to plan meals, which seems to be the key to not falling in decadent culinary mistakes.
You also somehow remind me of Anna Faris. Which is cool.
All of them look delicious but I love the first one, possibily cause it has all the common favourite (salad bar) ingredients in it, and for the second one I imagine using spelt (if wheat berries are not found) is OK? and for the 3rd one I imagine Coliflower Salad will be an appropriate name.

Can you make some more lunch inspired videos ❤️
what a brillient simple idea, will be making these for my wifes lunch, great as they keep ingredients seperated & stop the lettuce getting logged with the dressing, when in a plastic container, awsome thank you.
how can this be eatean? directly from the jar? putting all in a plate so the carb will be on the top? or do I need to mix in the plate?
I love a roasted sweet potato (tosted with cumin), lentils, spinach, grated carrot and feta, and often some leftover chicken goes in too.
I’m hooked! Thanks for your healthy recipes, making things very easy and saying what can be substitutes in or out of the recipes. You’re awesome! Much success!
Hey, how about you fitness your selve into nature come back with the grind and cook somthing up.
your Stamm,
greating from Germania
I would suggest: kidney beans at the bottom, lettuce, sweet corn, olives, smoked mackerel, prawns or tuna, and dried flat bread at the top, with; of course,: olive oil ( with mince garlic) and lime juice & black pepper dressing.
this is a great idea for my kid’s school lunches. I would probably use the same ideas and make them in a smaller jar for them. thanks for this video. It will make lunches a little more fun for them as they would have to shake it first and then eat it. only problem now that I’m thinking of it is that the jars are glass. will need to find some plastic containers. lol
do these last in the fridge? =( like can i do them in a meal prep way day 1 day 5 kind of thing… also sending some love all the way from Singapore
GREAT VIDEO! These salads actually sound really nice and like things I would definitely eat, and usually I really don’t like salads
I don’t see the point in placing them in a jar. It’s clumsy to prepare (imo)?Definitely agree with the oatmeal overnight breakfast in the mason jar, but not this:) looks good though
Wallnuts&blackberries&goat cheese. Oh-my-god, so goood!
Also some roasted foie gras and orange glaze work surprisingly well in a salad!
Great Recipes for salads! I was wondering can we use these salad dressings, as marinades for chicken or meat or fish or tofu? Thanks
I made the veggie ranch jar this weekend…. Oh my gosh!! Sooooo delicious, loved it!!! Thank you for sharing these recipes!! I enjoy all your videos!!
Thank you so much for all of this!
what wonderful idea it’s gonna saves me a lot of time but i have a question can u boil rice like 200 gram of cooked rice and then put it in jar do i only need to add hot water to it or should i use another way to reheat it?
plz answer love your videos
Worst knife-handling ever. No wonder you cut yourself. Ask your rich oligarch parents or your sugar-daddy to buy you a lesson in basic knife skills and you won’t get cut again.

today I had your taco salad (without a jar) and it was sooooo delicious! especially the dressing is just amazing
I’ll definately try the other recipes too:-)
These easy, yummy salad jars are perfect to add to your meal prep on the weekend so you can have healthy delicious salads ready to go when you are!
That was amazing..I so so so so wish I could study and travel with you, I want to inspire people like you inspire me…hopefully someday..:D
Hello! I love your videos and I am now obsessed with making food in mason jars! I was just wondering: do you store the salad dressings (when you make them separately) in the fridge? Hi Jamie, I have watched you keep on cooking with your heart for many years, and trying to help others so often. I’m a vegan and I like your ideas, cos you love preparing food. Just keep doing it with your great big heart. Many Blessings to you and yours mate.
What would you recommend as an alternative dressing for the Cobb Salad. I am not a fan of Blue Cheese but I like the combination of ingredients in the Cobb Salad. Hence looking for an alternate dressing. Thanks!
I prefer to leave my dressing separate in smaller container & just pour it over when im ready to eat. But i appreciate these ideas, thanks!
The only thing I’d change, when sharing your written recipes, would you put the ingredients in the same order as in the jar?
I’m excited to try your dressing and salad ideas! Thank you for sharing!
What is this white cone tool called. I can’t seem to find one. This would really make it easier for pouring ingredients into the jar.
Dani I would call your last salad because of ginger and other detoxifying ingredients “colorful detox salad” or just simply “vitamin explosion” Thank you so much for delicious salad ideas

I feel salads Should be eaten fresh..if the ingredients are chopped n kept in fridge for sm later dates, I guess oxidation process might set in which might not b good for the health..

Our family loves your recipes and have enjoyed watching you grow! You Go Girl! Thank you for making good meals be so simple Much Respect!
Is she the evil captain from Hotel Transilvania or is it just me? Lol she even talks like her thanks for the mason jar lunch recipe ideas! ♥️
I wonder if, instead of pouring the salad onto a plate, you shake the bottle to get the sauce everywhere and then open the jar and eat the salad straight from the jar. It’s salad to go!

You can do that while the meat is frying in the pan.15 min job?
it looks amazing & i like the idea but..how do you eat it? if you eat it straight from the jar you won’t get the dressing until is too late…
Made the taco salad for lunch today and followed the lime cilantro dressing recipe and let me just say, AMAZING. So delicious and satisfying. The dressing really hit it out of the park.Totally recommend!!!!
Hello im watching this video from south korea! I think idea of having salad in a jar is amazing!!! It looks so much pretty n easy. Thanks for ur healthy cook recipe:)
how can this be eatean? directly from the jar? putting all in a plate so the carb will be on the top? or do I need to mix in the plate?
I would suggest: kidney beans at the bottom, lettuce, sweet corn, olives, smoked mackerel, prawns or tuna, and dried flat bread at the top, with; of course,: olive oil ( with mince garlic) and lime juice & black pepper dressing.
All the best to you Danni and thank you for your videos! ❤
These salads look delicious.. I would call your last salad Garden Bite salad because it reminds me of everything I would grow in a veggie garden
weird question.. dont kill me but how do you eat this?
like top to bottom or do you shake the jar before eating?
many thanks in adance lol

Hi!
Great recipes! I tried some of them, and I now have a quick question, maybe you’ll have a quick fix…
How do yu keep the avocados from browning in the jar???
Thanks!
All of them look delicious but I love the first one, possibily cause it has all the common favourite (salad bar) ingredients in it, and for the second one I imagine using spelt (if wheat berries are not found) is OK? and for the 3rd one I imagine Coliflower Salad will be an appropriate name.
What colours, appreciate God more then ever, what a genius he is and what an artist you are, amazingly creative, inspiring and fulfilling food!
I made the Cobb salad and I am so impressed with the product. I took it to work and everyone was so jealous because it looked beautiful in the mason jar and it looked and tasted so delicious. Please keep making videos. Can you make some more lunch inspired videos ❤️
Will the chicken still stay fresh after 5 days in just the fridge? Normally I would freeze chicken if i have to use it after more than 3 days.
So glad I found your channel, really loving the different salad combos and overnight oats. I’m a bit of an oat/oatmeal freak lol. Thank you!
I love how healthy and portable this is, but it’s a lot of ingredients. I would probably just do couscous, grilled veggies, and some type of protein, maybe a poached chicken breast.
Hi Dani, I started doing the jars this week but I used the larger jars. Does the smaller jars satisfy you or is this just a side salad with extra protein?
today I had your taco salad (without a jar) and it was sooooo delicious! especially the dressing is just amazing
I’ll definately try the other recipes too:-)
what I like: salad, cucumber, tomatoes, greek yoghurt, cashew nuts or sesame, chicken slices, lots of pepper, some salt, half a squeezed lemon. I always take an apple, but I fail at adding tasty carbohydrates because I don’t like cold pasta or rice. So instead, I bring a self-made cereal bar.

That was amazing..I so so so so wish I could study and travel with you, I want to inspire people like you inspire me…hopefully someday..:D

I officially love your channel. Finally someone who talks clearly, easy to follow and the quality of your video is amazing. I too have done a marathon of your videos and written down some many of your recipes down. Thank you:)
I make these for lunch. My god do i get office envy (the books description does forewarn this). After you get the hang of it you can get creative and do your own and use up any left overs you have.
great recipes! I have only one question: isn’t it better to put the light things on the top of the heavier ones? because the lettuce is so light and full of water, doesn’t it become squishy when you put it between the pasta and the meat?
Otherwise I’ll make them for university, thank you

what I love about western kitchen is that too simple to follow, not like the arabic one which too complicated. this is very helpful. Thanks
I’m having this beet and goat-cheese salad today and I can’t wait for lunch! 25 minutes to go. your sweet champagne vinaigrette is my go-to dressing these days. Thanks so much for all your tips and tricks.
I found you by looking for a video on how to cut a pineapple. Took a deeper look and glad I did. Your salad ideas are excellent and I can see there’s lots more and your videos are very current. I think I’m going to like your channel!
These look delicious. Could I make the honey mustard vegan by using agave or maple syrup. I know that it would technically no longer be “honey mustard,” but do you think the flavor would still be similar?
