This autumn spice trail mix is the perfect snack to pair with a warm apple cider on a chilly October day while you enjoy the changing leaves! Ingredients: 2⁄3 cup raw cashews. 1⁄3 cup shelled pistachios. 1⁄3 cup pumpkin seeds or pepitas.

1⁄3 cup pecan halves, lightly chopped. 1⁄3 cup dried cranberries. 1⁄3 cup dried apricots. To kick off the season of Pumpkin Spice All The Things!, I am sharing this autumn flavored trail mix recipe that’s so good you’ll keep a stash in your pocketbook, on your counter beside your coffee maker, under your bedside table, and in a small.

This trail mix is packed full of all sorts of flavors like cayenne, coconut, cilantro, mango and tamarind. Tamarind, a bean used in many Indian and south Asian dishes, adds a sweet and sour taste to this trail mix, not to mention tons of B vitamins and calcium. This Chinese 5 Spice inspired mix is a warm and rich blend of all that autumn embodies.

If you cannot find vanilla powder, you can exclude it from the mix and use vanilla extract as directed in your recipes. If you do use vanilla extract, substitute 1/2. Preheat oven to 300°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Stir together corn cereal, pretzels, cheese crackers, rice cereal, and wheat cereal in a large bowl.

Whisk together butter, brown sugar, honey, and salt in a small bowl until smooth. From caramel corn and nutty trail mixes to soft pretzels and homemade apple treats, these fall snacks are big on autumn’s best flavors. 1 / 65 Potato Chip Clusters. I was inspired by the recipe over at The House of Hendrix – except she combined all the ingredients as a sort of trail mix without a sauce. I thought this was just calling out for some kind of sweet and buttery flavouring – a sweet Chex mix, rather than a savory one.

And then baking the mixture added to the amazing crunch of the whole thing. This Maple Pumpkin Spice Trail Mix is the ultimate autumn snack! Made with a selection of nuts, seeds, and dried fruit, combined with maple syrup and pumpkin pie spice, it has all the flavors of fall in one handful! Trail mix is so easy to make and stores well too. Long time, no see my blog friends!

I know, I’ve been bad. To be honest, blogging has been the furthest thing from my mind for the last. I’m going to call this Autumn Spice Trail Mix. There is nothing about this recipe that is bad for you. The nuts provide good fats and proteins.

Pepitas are always a treat. The dried fruit provides essential chewing goodness, and the spices and pumpkin filling go really well with all of the ingredients. This is really easy to make and would be.

  • Cinnamon Spiced Pecans are on TO DO list for tomorrow. I think I’m going to use Apple Pie Spice instead of cinnamon. Thank you for great ideas! <3

  • Please just make sure that you finish eating these snacks before you get on the plane. Please do not eat any nuts on the plane because many people have serious allergies that can result in death. Thanks!

  • Wish you could add in the pricing difference. How much did the trail mix cost and the ounces vs the price of your ingredients and the ounces you got out of it.

  • You have one of the best keto channels love your name! I wanted my grandson named nico but my daughter him (Antonio) we call him nino… so close lol

  • So I just made the pecans this week and they were amazing! I accidentally left out the salt, but still awesome! I did have a question, or three, though.

The recipe in the description calls for salt, but in the video you didn’t mention it and instead added vanilla extract. How much vanilla extract did you add to the recipe?
And do you have a preference between the salt recipe and the vanilla extract recipe?
If so, which do you like better?

  • Don’t be afraid of using already roasted/cooked nuts.  The twice roasted nuts have a remarkable flavor profile.  Just need to not burn them.

  • I’m vegetarian, so pls give an alternative for white egg. I tried doing without it but ended up sticking all my Nuts to each other. I mixed honey & cinnamon and heated them for a couple of mins. Then I pour that into the Nuts and roasted them. Nuts eventually where very sticky. It was very hard to separate them. Pls help.

  • Hi Nicko, That snack looks delicious and lots of protein! Like your keto ideas. Thanks!!

I have a question if I wanted to bake turnip fries, could I use almond flour with seasoning to coat it before baking; would it make the fries crispy?

  • I love making sweet/spicy roasted nuts. My favorite are the pecans. I never heard of using egg whites tho, which I’m definitely going to try.By the way what is the reason you use egg whites? Is it to prevent the sugar from caramelizing & making the nuts stick? Thanks for uploading these recipes, Blessings!

  • Great video, and great snack. However, the video uses paprika and white pepper. The instructions use garlic powder and paprika instead of the cumin. So, how much cumin to use? Otherwise, great. Thanks.
