The following are common mistakes athletes make that significantly work against the body’s ability to perform well. • It’s all very well saying ‘take your time’, think about all the things around you, etc etc. However, the pressure that it put on you around so called ‘slow play’ makes you feel rushed, stressed and does not help at all.

  • Definitely do all 5 of them at this point! I’m getting better with not chipping around the greens with too much loft. Will need to focus on these points.

  • Thanks for these tips…on my drives I have really concentrated on staying behind the ball and implementing the “K” body shape but still continue to be hitting down on the ball versus up. Many of my tee shots hit the fairway and either plug or make quite a hole and then don’t travel much farther. I’ll keep working on the upward motion.

  • Negative thoughts are literally costing me 15 shots.I swear one time I had a good 2 holes and I was confident. And my score dropped 12 hits.from avg

  • Ive been golfing for my 3rd season now and this video helped with my drive immensely and my iron striking…love the tips, thank you so much!!

  • Tip one seems garbage.. in order to pick a landing spot you need to identify all of the misses and select a safe/advantageous trajectory

  • Is all that anti static stuff worth it? Unless your in Arizona or something it’s usually not a problem. I noticed how much I got shocked on my trip to AZ. Jayztwicents did a video about building a pc with 5 of the do nots and it turned out good.

  • Hi gin on my fake roller it says replace roller every 5 uses is there a limit on your rollers or can u use always as long as santized always

  • My first car is a manual and I don’t actually know how the clutch and the shifter and all that stuff work so if you could do a vid on how it works that be great

  • I have found that I am super consistent with my 52° wedge around the green and out to about 70 yards. Right at 70 or so yards, I lose it…just to find it again at 80-100 yards with my 64°. What club should I use for precision from 65ish out to 80? And can I use that same club for a full swing without the thing falling apart before I get it back in my bag?

  • The thing is you can hit the ball straight if you want to whereas for us (me and the non pros) we aint got a choice. It is all about luck.

  • Totally agree with all 5. Fourteen years I took up the game and have done them all. My game is better for avoiding these things now.

  • Gin Amber… Thank you soooo much, since i started derma rolling with your rollers i have noticed a huge difference in my skin…..its brighter, tighter and my pores look smaller! I enjoy it and i plan to continue in hopes it helps my dark spots in the long run!! Thank you sooo much

  • Thank you very much for your hard working! I really appreciate the fact that you are sincere with people and gave us so useful information before using! I already subscribed

  • I think one of the big mistakes, is missing the opportunity to go for a challenge, you see the guy has nowhere to go, had no passes available and you got a teammate surrounding him or next to you ready to pressure. go for it! he will mess up! make a wrong pass, dribble the ball away, and either you or your teammate will end up with the ball.

  • Tip 1: Get a Swiss Army Knife that hopefully has a Philips head screwdriver
    Tip 2: Have some tweezers
Tip 3: Wear a LiveStrong bracelet for preventing static charges
Tip 4: Drown your cpu in thermal paste
Tip 5: Screw up your RAM installation
Tip 6: Call everyone who says you’re an angry nerd
I can’t list all of the faults in the Verge pc, but these were the highlights.

  • I pull it right often, so having the ball closer to my front foot gives the club more time to straiten out. Super helpful that you guys covered that, I always thought I needed the ball in the center and that I needed to adjust my swing to make that work.

  • Love numbers 1, 4 and 5! Will 100% use these. Just joined amazing course and getting my cards in and will ise these to score lower

  • I would say a common mistake/shortcoming is playing very obvious passes and having no deception. Usually this is what makes an opposition press successfulplaying too obvious and not breaking a charging player’s momentum.

  • #6 is overconfidence during a run of good scoring. Anytime I’m 2 or 3 up I try to think of them as stolen shots and do my best to not give them back with my regular standard of play.

  • The issue with the head, point 4, is the simple fact that beginners, when they look up to see where the ball is going tend to also stand up at impact as their body follows the head. Due to this they tend to top the ball.

The old advice of keeping the head steady or still was implemented to cure this problem as way to keep beginners from being to impatient to see where the ball is going. The problem now is that too many novice teachers use this concept as gospel and as pointed out in the video, correctly, it is in fact wrong…the head must move.

  • Thank you for mentioning not putting your vehicle in neutral down a hill. Most of the other YouTuber say to do then. On the power shift. I wouldn’t to recommend it in a car. I drive big truck. Plus daily a manual older pickup. The big truck are designed to shift without the clutch once moving. In the right rpm range. Not to be used in in a car. You should leave your vehicle in gear at a light. Most places have by laws telling you to do this. And you could get a ticket if catch. I learned that when getting my class 3. It means your in control of the vehicle. Again if you had to get yourself out of a situation. Check you local laws. You right about don’t feathering the clutch. Never do that. Great video brother. I learned to drive manual on back roads. No traffic at all. So you could take your time. A big empty parking lot works too. Just to get the shifting down. And if your like me. Learning to drive a manual in a 1 ton. A car becomes no problem to drive. A pickup has a heavier ply wheel. So, it more forgiving on the learning. Keep up the good work

  • Wow, the 4th mistake, that’s the worst teaching I have ever saw!!! Watch how when he hits the example shot his head doesn’t move in the back swing, and doesn’t start to come up to see the shot until AFTER he hit the ball. Keeping your head down and keeping your head still are too different things. In their example of what doing wrong was so over exaggerated, EVERYONE KEEPS THEIR HEAD SOME WHAT STILL UNTIL AFTER THE BALL IS STRUCK.

  • I also saw one that recommended disinfecting first with an antimicrobial soap like chlorhexidine since alcohol can’t remove or dissolve blood and dead skin particles before you disinfect with alcohol. How true is that?

  • I’m a 9 handicap and I’m 14 and for some reason I’m significantly more confident with my 58 degree than a bump and run
I also sometimes fell more confident with a 58 degree than a putter from off the green but it’s very situational
Probably because putting isn’t my strong point but chipping is a bit better
It’s weird but I play better doing so

  • Beginners should start with a 10 finger or baseball grip. Then slowly transition into overlapping. I have never seen a beginner have success with interlocking grips. If I start struggling to hit fairways the first remedy is to turn it a bit stronger and baseball grip. I would advise a golfer to avoid a strong right hand though, that can affect the face into impact if they don’t release the club correctly.

  • You say don’t start with 0.5, but 0.25 isn’t listed as helping with wrinkles on your chart, so if I want to use derma rolling for wrinkles when can I switch to 0.5?

  • I have a problem with not looking up, and I get really nervous and pressured so when I get the ball, instead of dribbling with it I boot it

  • Watching this video I remembered the song “Sowing the seeds of love” Sang by Tears for Fears. Thank you Lisa. Greetings from México.

  • When I learned how to float gears as a truck driver, I started doing it in my car, sometimes I shift through all the gears without using the clutch, I know it’s not good for the synchros but only if you time it wrong

  • Great dribblers look at the ball all the time. Watch messi vids dribbling. He looks up when its clear but when theres a bunch of defenders hes looking at the ball to see where he can feint.

  • Does dermarolling stimulates hair growth? I am a girl that already have facial hair that I really hate. I am scared that if i use dermaroller that my hair grows thicker

  • When you’re shopping for a new build, don’t check out your cart in the middle of the night. Sleep on it, you will want to make some changes next morning.

  • OMG your video really helpped me. i knew my pronouncation of those words were somewhat wrong. And I now I know why (about some of them). Thanks!

  • I have your.5 I use on my face. I love it. I had to order my second. I also ordered 1.5 I’m going to use on my stomach since I’ve lost a lot of weight. I love you and your product!! Thank you for caring!
I am all set for the contest!!❤️

  • Instead of using the handbrake on a hill you could also use the clutch, So Once your on a hill when your ready to move off you hold your clutch just under the bite point and at the same time you are on the brake then in all in one motion you move from the brake to the gas pedal and slowly let off of the clutch like you normally do, the clutch should hold car for a little bit so you take that advantage and move off without rolling back. Its hard because depending on the hill you need more gas and if your not on the bite point you will roll back. I use this method because its faster and when you get used to it, its easier.

  • help i really need warm up excercise routine. cos i having heavy pain under my armpits in the upper body muscle of the trunch lateral side left and right under the arm pits. please help

  • Thank you so much guys I literally had all of those problems I’m gonna start working on them and hopefully seeing some better results!

  • WIth regards to chipping, I cannot get my PW to execute a high flight with a short distance, I would like to drop my shots in rather than chip and run as i tend to scuff the floor and run it too far across the green.
Would there be any chance of seeing a video designed for both lofted and chip & run pitching shots?

  • Honestly I know a lot of this even though I’m not able to drive yet but the part where you can just shift into neutral and use the brake to hold the car because I probably would have hooded both

  • Worst part about selfish teamates is that they do mistakes and never pass but when you make a mistake its the bigest problem in the world

  • ITS GOING TO SHOCK YOU BUT I AM REALY NOT KIDDING AT ALL!! but DOGS SPERM realy treat wrinkles and many kinds of premature skin and also reversing grey hair!! i know its sound so crazy but its works. dont ask how i know it…

  • If your going to install an M.2 drive, make sure to read the manual, I have a SSD in my sata 1 slot and I before I got an M.2, the manual said that if I have an M.2 drive installed, than the 1 sata slot on my motherboard will be disabled. READ YOUR MANUAL!!!!!!

  • I remember a year ago my dad was helping me build a pc and he grabbed the cpu an i7 and pushed it down into the socket. When he pulled it out the pins… the pins wereyeah.

  • I think there is this problem were u r forced to play a long pass or short pass with a weak foot. May you help me one what to do if I’m forced into a situation like this. I’m not good with my left

  • Because of these golf swing techniques “Jοmtοzο kaha” (Google it), I was able to find out “hows” and “whys” of a good golf swing and its different aspects. I have read through the book 2 times and made Fifteen yards more on all irons, 25 more on my driver. Due to these improvements, I am more confident and I`m having more excitement with golfing..

  • Thank you very much for your hard working! I really appreciate the fact that you are sincere with people and gave us so useful information before using! I already subscribed

  • It was such a surprise to know my pronunciation gaps in some words here! Your channel definitely is an oasis of life in the desert.

  • I remember a year ago my dad was helping me build a pc and he grabbed the cpu an i7 and pushed it down into the socket. When he pulled it out the pins… the pins wereyeah.

  • Make sure the hdmi cable is plugged into the GPU aka graphics card aka video card. I returned and bought 3 times because I thought there was something wrong with my mother board when I should just plugged in the hdmi cable in the gpu instead of the motherboard

  • So I got my brand new tomahawk MB fitted the AMD 3600 and the stock fan. My friend recommended I upgrade the cooler so whilst trying to remove the stock cooler it was jammed solid. It must have formed some sort of vacuumed fit I pulled it off and the CPU was still attached now with 2 broken pins. Luckily I managed to straighten them out and my system works fine but I think if I would have slid the stock cooler instead of pulling I would have been better off

  • 1)Always face the ball, and/or check your shoulder constantly.
    2) Protect/shield the ball as much as possible whenever passing/receiving in tight spaces.
    3) Get over your mistakes immediately; even at the pro level; I often see players throw their hands up or punch the air or fail to get back onside whenever a play doesn’t work out; only to miss a subsequent oppurtunity due to the fact that they were too busy crying about the last one failing. The best players in the world are able to forgive themselves immediately.

  • I asked my friend what CPU he had, he siad he didn’t have one

    His PC works perfectly

He called me an idiot when I told him a computer needs a CPU

  • I pull it right often, so having the ball closer to my front foot gives the club more time to straiten out. Super helpful that you guys covered that, I always thought I needed the ball in the center and that I needed to adjust my swing to make that work.

  • I was docked points on my driving test because I put the manual transmission in neutral at a red light. The instructor stated that I should be in gear at all times (clutch depressed when stopped) so that in case of emergency I could move the vehicle quickly. I replied saying that all the cars around me are stopped and I can’t go anywhere period, but that didn’t seem to matter. Or maybe he docked me points because of my smart mouth lol. Anyway I still put it in neutral at a red light because he was wrong and you clearly agree:D

  • I make all of these a lot, but I’ve definitely been better about reading my putts more thoroughly this season. Great video, definitely will make an effort to not make these mistakes.

  • What about #6?
    Not warming up.

    And #7?
    Not playing the right shot.

    And #8?
Hitting driver off the tee on a hole that doesn’t suit your miss.

    And #9?
Keeping clubs in your bag that you cannot hit very well.

    And #10?
Forgetting your an amateur and just doing this for fun.

  • 1.get minimum of 16gb of ram
    2. Work out how much power each component will require and get a power supply with at least 30% more power calculated
    3. Clear all cables so air can freely flow through your case get a high air flow case

  • just ordered a case for my first build, then a thumbnail pops up on youtube with that exact case saying “dont make these mistakes” jeez.

  • Tried the chip n’ run with an 8 iron this weekend and played the best 2 chips of my life! Thanks Rick, your videos continue to improve my game!

  • It’s all very well saying ‘take your time’, think about all the things around you, etc etc. However, the pressure that it put on you around so called ‘slow play’ makes you feel rushed, stressed and does not help at all.

  • Legit tip: short the power pins on you’re motherboard before plugging in your psu.
Found this out because with power on my motherboard wouldn’t jumpstart so I unplugged the psu did the jumpstart which discharges any electricity that was already there then powered on and it finally booted up. I was so scared my mobo was DOA

  • Ironically I thought I was over using my putter for fringe shots and started using pitching wedge, guess I wasn’t as crazy as I thought:D

  • This is so good. My problem isn’t the 5th one (k-shape) necessarily, but remembering to take time and position myself differently based on the shot I’m making.

  • THANK YOU BOTH! Great video and the fix to ‘mistake no.1 has shaved 5 shots off my last round alone! Anyone with an interlocking grip with a handicap over 12+ should double check their grip (as ridiculous as this seems!). Amazing how many bad habits can creep into your game, especially under pressure!

  • I have found that I am super consistent with my 52° wedge around the green and out to about 70 yards. Right at 70 or so yards, I lose it…just to find it again at 80-100 yards with my 64°. Thank you for the useful lesson.

  • Can someone help me out, I am seeking.5mm & 1.5mm that is real needles titanium & ships to Canada? I can’t seem to find it on amazon, and I don’t wish to make the wrong purchase if I can even find one to buy.

  • Great lesson and I’m guilty of all 5, especially the arc on the iron shot and # 5 with the driver. Thank you so much for pointing out these mistakes. I cant wait to work on these drills in a month or so!!

  • Hi guys, I could say all 5 especially the bobbing head applied to my swing, I love you guys with your fantastic coaching tips and would love to have a lesson but in SA. Thanks again

  • I’ve never built computer using one of those anti-static things, or the clips or grounding myself. Heck my current gaming computer I assembled on my bed while sitting on a very fuzzy blanket. No issues and she works like a dream.

  • Thanks for the hitting through with the irons tips! I always swing up and through and my irons on the tee are always behind what most are hitting for example a pW and im hitting a 9 or 8

  • help i really need warm up excercise routine. cos i having heavy pain under my armpits in the upper body muscle of the trunch lateral side left and right under the arm pits. please help

  • A big Thank You from America! I watched you two play at two of my favorite courses here at Indian Wells and was impressed with the fact that you practice what you preach. With this in mind, I watched your videos hoping to improve my game. I have been playing since I was 10 and I am now 65 but gave the game up for 12 years while I worked two jobs. My game is beyond rusty and I could not break 100 for over a year but that has changed and I have you to thank. A big slice or hitting the ball dead left caused me to rack up lots of OB penalties and therefore triple bogies and worse. Your tip about placing the right hand on the right leg and sliding it down to get the proper tilt is the best tip in golf…period. I played a course yesterday with lots of water, OB and narrow fairways in La Quinta and didn’t have one penalty in the round. I consistently out drove two of my foursome who were always longer off the tee than me and out drove the longest hitter of our group twice. The difference was hitting Driver 8 iron, as opposed to driver three wood, into the par 4’s. Still need to work on my putting and chipping and get the feel back but I shot an 89 and couldn’t be happier! Thank You for helping those of us that love the game, improve our play so that we may enjoy a day on the links with a minimum of frustration.

  • I do 2 of those mistakes.  I lift my head but I feel my shoulders coming up as well.  Also I must be loosing the ‘K-bomb’ cause it feels like all the power of my swing is all going into the ground before I make it around to the ball.

  • The sad fact is that its like every tip covers most of my shots, but thanks for helping me break down my game and really get to the root of the problems, every day at the range has felt better since watching these videos

  • I’d love to find a 997 with manual! Quite hard to find as most have PDK. Also, after watching this video, I would be terrified to buy one of my teenage children a car with manual.

  • Rick– thank you for the advice. I especially appreciated what to do after a nasty 3 putt. I find it hard to control my anger with those. Now,

What do I do if I 5 putt.

  • Tip 1: Get a Swiss Army Knife that hopefully has a Philips head screwdriver

  • Remember that verge pc build? yeah. My dog died because of Stefan Etienne. My dog is an “angry nerd”, but they “atleast it fucking works”.

  • Watched this before my round today. I shaved 10 strokes off my average score and even got a handful of birdies! Thank you for this!

  • I learned British English in my younger years
Lived in New Zealand for almost 20 years( they use more British English)
It’s hard sometimes to changed my pronunciation to American English
    British English makes more sense

  • I heard that after you use Derma roller that you should disinfect with warm water and soap and then alcohol because the warm water and soap helps remove the skin cells left over on the Derma roller? Do you think I should continue to do both methods of disinfecting? I am so paranoid of bacteria!

  • I find that better ball striking means other people can’t tell when you top the ball. Swung correctly, catching the ball in the middle will still hoist it up high if the club is going down.

  • Hi Gin Amber,
I just ordered your 0.25 dermaroller and am about to start dermarolling for the first time.
I also ordered your retinol 2.5% serum.
Can I use that after I derma roll?

I also ordered “Buffet” + Copper Peptides 1% serum.
When is a good time to use this product?

    Thank you.

  • Meandmygolf guys i’m 33yrs old and ive been playing about 6-7 months now. I love playing golf. It’s a new found passion. Love watching your vids. Keep up the great work.

  • Great dribblers look at the ball all the time. Watch messi vids dribbling. He looks up when its clear but when theres a bunch of defenders hes looking at the ball to see where he can feint.

  • but your temmates are not helping and you have to past the hole defence waht do you do beacuse your temmates are scared to touch the ball

  • I take so much loft on my approaches I usually have to notify air traffic control lol. Good tips man, thanks. Gonna try these out today.

  • Great lesson just figured out what I was doing wrong with my driver. Keeping my head down and definetly in that forward position. Thanks

  • The thing is with me, if I rested my hand on my shifter in our Mustang, it wouldn’t do any damage because Pro5.0 shifters work like magic! You can slam the shifter from 2nd to 3rd and it shifts for you, and you can slam it as hard as you can, plus if it breaks, it breaks the bolt in the shifter instead of the lever in the shifter, so instead of your gear smashing, you break your shifter and you can just swap shifters. I told you it works like magic! Lol

  • Fantastic tips, I’ve just found your videos and the change has been amazing. Last week I watched your video on grip and it transformed my round and I finally found some consistency. I’ve watched a lot of other channels but your explanation is so good for the new golfer I’ll be following you for a long time to come

  • LOL!!! I laugh myself because I pronounced THERE/THEY’RE/THEIR was pronouncing them that way “der”, “deir/deir” and SEW like su

I love your videos because IMO they are so oriented for spanish speakers.

  • Even though its much longer process, learning to play in piano the melody and harmony from the Real Book, is what works the best. Then you really know the song not only in the head but also for the solos because you know the chord progression. my piano playing is very poor, but its worth the effort!

  • Once you get the melody of a song in your head, I find it helpful to listen to as many different recordings of that song by different artists as possible! Even if you can sing along with Ella, someone may want to take All The Things You Are way out there, and it’s good to be able to hear it in a few different ways:) great advice! been practicing to much more MUSIC since the last one and noticing the difference. looking forward to the rest of these videos!

  • I do 2 of those mistakes.  I lift my head but I feel my shoulders coming up as well.  Also I must be loosing the ‘K-bomb’ cause it feels like all the power of my swing is all going into the ground before I make it around to the ball.

  • How do I hit a consistent straight shot with driver or irons especially my 5HB? I seem to go either right or left quite often. Loved this video. Very informative I will try a different grip ⛳

  • Tip 5 was the driver mistake I have been making for 2 years now, thank you so much! Literally changed my drive from a short hook to the left to a 300 yard perfect draw

  • I heard that leaving your hand on the shift knob doesn’t cause any premature wear. It’s a myth https://www.raceseng.com/blog/general/is-it-bad-to-rest-your-hand-on-the-shifter/

    Thank you.

  • My best advice for inexperienced drivers would be…if in doubt ‘clutch’. Weird noise? clutch. If anything seems wrong… clutch. When you drive an manual, there will always be moments of sheer bliss, like when you downshift perfectly into a tight turn down a hill. When it works, its magical. You feel like Ayrton Senna, even though your in a Honda Civic! These are moments that cannot be duplicated by blipping an electronic upshift button behind the steering wheel! Thanks for the video.

  • Playing for more than 30 years. Drive the ball consistently 250+. Short game is horrible. 15 handicap. My biggest problem is the mind game. I look at putt or a chip shot from behind, I feel like I know how hard I need to hit it, yet as soon as I make contact, I realize it’s the wrong speed. I play with people all the time that get it. They know and then execute. It just doesn’t happen for me. Anything to improve the psychology of my game? Or is it just going to stay the same?

  • Guilty of riding the clutch at robots stop streets etc. replacing the clutch on a regular basis is a small price to pay when you live in one of the top hijacking countries in the world. Stop at the robot foot on the clutch and in first gear ready to peel away just in case.
