So, I wanted to share what I’ve found helps me eat more vegetables, even when I don’t feel like eating them. (Disclaimer: I’m not a nutritionist; I’m just sharing what works for me.) 1.   • I broke a 42 day fast with 2 litres of bone broth (with sodium and potassium added),at around noon, planned not to eat anything else for the day but around 6pm I got hungry and ate half a pomelo, then around 9pm ate the other half of the pomelo, then went to bed, around 1 am I woke up and ate chicken meat with bbq sauce, all that digested well, good first day, but then the next day my family ordered pizza, I planned to just eat the rest of my chicken meat, but when I saw the pizza I couldnt stop myself, I ate 3 or 4 slices, then I developed these fermentation smelly burps from the pizza, they lasted for about 30 hours, and were often like every 10 minutes, I legit thought I gave myself auto brewery syndrome but luckily they went away so I dont think I did, after the pizza I didnt have any problems, I dont remember what I ate after it though

  • Day 1 of water fasting: I didn’t prepare myself, I saw a video on tiktok about water fasting and took it upon myself to try it out as it has various health benefits.   • The thing I really hate about water fasting is around the 2nd and 3rd day you really want to poop, but you can’t! I’m on the 2nd day of a water fast right now, and I thought I would look up what to start eating afterwards. I made the mistake years ago of breaking my water fast with a small bag of Frito’s Corn Chips! Wrong thing to do!

  • Nutritional Yeast gives you the essential amino acids that the body does not make by it self. That is specially important for vegans and vegetarians.

  • Get rid of the grains. I noticed you put that in to food after fasting and the Gluten will harm the benefits gained by fasting.   • Refeeding syndrome happens when you are starving, not after an extended fasts. You can break a fast with whatever you want, but for some people big amounts of food or certain foods, for example eggs, may make people feel sick.

  • It’s so wrong. You recommend people to break fast with just carbs. It will cause them to lose muscle weight and finally they will come back to eating excessive amounts of carbs/sugars. so wrong

  • oh. after my 7 day water fast i ate one piece of brussel sprout, one tiny piece of garlic, kurkuman, ginger and a table spoon of plant powder in water in the morning. because i wanted the detox effect. in the evening i alrready ate a bit of sweet potato, nothing else. two hours later i ate a bit more. 1 hour later i finished two big sweet potatoes and then ate a bowl with rice and beans and a ton of curry.
    i thought those couple of hours are enough. but yes, this explains why i was still hungry but hat a bit of stomach ache through the night. aparrently i took it way to far to quickly.
