  • Roasted sweet potatoescube a sweet potato into 1 inch cubes, toss with a tbsp coconut oil, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper and a little paprika, then bake for 25 minutes at 420 F. I eat this recipe 3 or 4 times a week! I’m addicted.

  • Just found your channel:) I was born in Latrobe! Now I’m living in Florida, but my mom lives in Ligonier. Can’t wait to try these. Thanks.

  • oh man we’re getting lightheaded and it smells like gas because our oven isn’t working, let’s keep taping though and turn the oven off + open the windows + leave immediately after doing both those things.

  • Nice, but… two of your ingredients were other recipes all to themselves. Date paste and apple sauce. Would be nice to just use base ingredients as a starting point.

  • Hi Brittany! I made these but found the brownies had too much sweet potato flavor….Do you think if I subbed 1 cup white potato for 1 cup sweet potato that would work?

  • You can actually grow potatoes in your garden but sweet potato comes a long way from home, the nutritional status is quite similar, except the SP has high amount of beta carotene in the skin

  • Hi guys, this is your neighbor one floor below you. Please keep your noise down thx. oh welcome to the new neighborhood hope you like it. chao

  • Tried this today and I have one tip!! Don’t make the crust too think or it will take quite a while too cook! I’m not sure if it will help but I’m putting it back in for another 25 min to make to crust crispier

  • Well……i will use Idaho potatoes. I didn’t like sweet potatoes when I was younger and my mom got “regular “ potatoes…….

  • #1
Sweet potato fries bake in over for 30 mins (15mins each side)…
Peel. Slice. Add some coconut oil. Add a bit of salt, pepper, cayenne pepper. Mix. Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Enjoy with meats, fish, eggs, or other vegs like asparagus!

    # 2
3 ingredient flat bread a recipe right I’m making now! (Look it up on YouTube)… The oldest something… For flour options buckwheat, arrowroot, coconut, teff are all great alternatives to going gluten and sugar free! Have fun! I’m excited to make this and use it for pizza base, or breakfast wraps with kale and eggs, and such.

    Quick way to make these:
Peel, dice them small, and pan fry them with a little coconut oil on medium to med-high heat. I add the same spices as if I were baking them.
    10-15 mins and they’re ready.

Steam them for mashed sweet potatoes:
-poke a few holes with a fork into the potatoes (optional?)
    -steam for 20 mins
-peel and wait for it too cool before eating!

  • Thank you for this! i got a question though; Is it alright if my sweet potato is more on the beige\pale yellow color? its not orange like the ones i see on youtube. is it still healthy?

  • Hey there! I constantly see people using sweet potatoes in everything but i just cant seem to like them! Its like were worst enemies. I was wondering if using a regular white potato would still be a healthy substitute? Im just now starting to try making healthy lunches and im stuggling to find things i like as a picky eater. Thank you!

  • You forgot beta-carotene! I just love sweet potato and all the thing that I can do with it! I never peel my potatoes, even when mashing! Why remove most of the ascorbic acid?

  • Roasted sweet potato hummus with a bit of cumin and chill powder is one of my favourites. We love it as a one sheet meal with chicken, sweet potato, onions and peppers seasoned with a mix of harissa paste, tomato paste, olive oil and lemon juice. I have a friend who makes burritos with sweet potatoes, onions, peppers, black beans and a bit of cheese. She says they taste really good and are a really affordable family meal. They are also great in soups with curry and/or coconut milk.

  • Simple fast effective. Just cut n throw into mixing bowl. Put enough olive oil in to get them slimy. Throw in a dash of salt, dash of pepper and a hefty amount of garlic. Oven 400 degrees 20-28 minutes dep on your oven. Done. I like these more than my main dish

  • Your videos are of high quality but the way that woman speaks is so irritating man it makes it so hard to watch “400 degrees Fahrenheeeeeit” please stop you’re not hosting a kids show

  • Hi, I made the brownies and they taste incredible! Even better than the sweet potato fudge if that’s possible. I used maple syrup instead of the date paste and added peppermint extract and chocolate chips. The problem is that even though I left them in the oven for 30 minutes, they never formed up at all. They came out sludge-y. Like heavy frosting. I would never be able to pick it up without having it drop in glops. Was it because I subbed the syrup? I’m still in love with the way they tastewhat a chocolate fix! )

  • You guys in charlotte? Becuase I literally live in an apartment complex that is brand new with that exact same pool area and the same kitchen….

  • I am a 72 yrs. old widower in Las Vegas, NV., USA.. This turned out extremely good and nothing could be easier. I didn’t use the cheese you mentioned as I haven’t ate cheese in 14 yrs. since my heart attach and triple bypass and I don’t miss it. Also I topped it with the mix of tomato paste and diced tomatoes, beets, green bell pepper, red onions, broccoli, and spinach leaves. I made the crust too thick and had to bake it 30 min. the second time in the oven at 390 F. This is a winner.
