Almost half of Americans drink diet soda every day and while you might assume that Diet Coke is better than regular Coke, it can still harm your body in a multitude of ways. Thanks to some of its many unpronounceable ingredients, this is exactly what happens when you drink Diet Coke every day. The Coca-Cola Company also markets Coke Zero, a diet soft drink with zero calories and zero grams of sugar.

According to the company’s website, Coke Zero is intended to taste just like the real thing — without the calories. Diet Coke, on the other hand, has a slightly different flavor and a. • What do you expect, you literally burnt it. What’s your next video gonna be about? Burning bread and saying you will never eat bread again?!

  • All of this is true but she did not address the extreme acidity of soda which is really bad for you and creates an environment for disease and oxidation of your blood and organs (or rust). I’ve decided to give it up except on rare occasions and use true lemon or flavor enhancers in my water.

  • Lovely Video! Forgive me for butting in, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you considered Saankramer Life Card System (erm, check it on google should be there)? It is an awesome exclusive product for learning how to stop drinking without the headache. Ive heard some super things about it and my mate at last got cool results with it.

  • What about coca cola zero? 1.75 ml how many colories is in it and how many calories do we burn downing the whole bottle? please reply i love the channel

  • A progressive tax on soda makes sense if the percentage goes up by ounce. It’s so abused and unhealthy and popular it might as well be called a vice. Why does anybody need a 64 ounce soda anyways?! Geez, eat a leaf once in a while.

  • Lovely video content! Sorry for the intrusion, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you heard the talk about Saankramer Life Card System (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is an awesome one off guide for learning how to stop drinking minus the hard work. Ive heard some great things about it and my mate after a lifetime of fighting got excellent results with it.

  • me and my boys had a debate at the gym and they said your penis gets smaller when you grow a gut in your stomach. and I told them that’s not true. can we clarify that myth once and for all

  • This is behind the memes that are animated now! bRuH piggy animators use this now ALOT. And they ARE LIKEKING THOSE BRUH! I LIKED THOSE CUZ I DIDNT KNOW YOUR THE ORIGINAL! im so happy i found your channel! <3 there are so much memes that you did and TikTok stole it! And now. IM AMAZED!

  • Glad I broke the soda habit about 4 years ago. My doc first suggested diet sodadid it for a while and finally got to where I couldn’t stand the taste anymore.

  • You may think its gross but its not thats just the suger dye and caffeine all mixed together and hardened from the heat it looks gross but its not if you did taht to any other sodas like pepsi it would be the same just different colors

  • Are all natural sodas that contain no sugar but are instead sweetened with stevia (like the one made by the brand Zevia) ok to drink?

  • Coca Cola is my main energy drink

I get so hungry sometimes that i feel im gonna pass out

    Coce always picks me up

Especially during these summer days and the cursed sun

  • Let me guess, weight gain is caused by fizzy drinks. So is this what coca cola turns into when, or if, it’s too hot in your body after drinking it and maybe you get too hot or have eaten hot, hot not spicy, dinners?

  • Good Lord I had no idea… I mean I knew there was a lot of sugar in soda but that’s alarming! And Coca-Cola of course it’s supposed to be America’s pastime soda, what fucki&g lies!

  • You’re wrong about adding sugar to coffee is equal to soda. There is 39 grams of sugar in 12 oz of Coke with only 4 grams in a teaspoon of sugar(huge difference!). I’ve quit drinking 64 to 128 oz of energy drinks a day… replaced it with 2-3 cups of coffee a day with 1-2 teaspoons of sugar added. Want me to do the math? I was having 312 grams of sugar a day on average vs 10 grams a day now with coffee.

  • Great video. Can you address the carbonation in your next video? I’ve always said it was the bubbles I liked the best. Of course I have given up soda since my sleeve surgery and pre-op. I’m still on full liquids. Your videos are so motivating for me. Love the book! Thanks a ton.

  • I have spent months researching into stopping booze and discovered an awesome resource at Adoette drink plan (google it if you’re interested)

  • there is at least one artificial sweetener without calories but I would not recommend using it because It has a good chance of giving you lead poisoning

  • Excellent video content! Forgive me for chiming in, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you researched Saankramer Life Card System (probably on Google)? It is a great one of a kind guide for learning how to stop drinking minus the normal expense. Ive heard some super things about it and my cousin after a lifetime of fighting got excellent success with it.

  • Thank you for answering my question this helps me in my fasting so ill enjoi my coca cola zero in my open window of feasting. Thank you….

  • How do you stop the cravings though? I’ve been trying to quit for years.:( I hate coffee. Any other drink I can try? Doctor wants me off it due to anxiety. Said to get off it for 2 weeks but it’s hard. Should I just switch to cafinated water and stop Pepsi all together? When should I see results if my doctor wants me to quit it in 2 weeks?

  • 1try this with milk

  • Nice video content! Apologies for butting in, I would love your opinion. Have you ever tried Saankramer Life Card System (search on google)? It is an awesome one off product for learning how to stop drinking minus the hard work. Ive heard some decent things about it and my buddy at last got cool success with it.

  • Anyone here who actually stopped drinking coca-cola? I did stop drinking soft drinks or soda years after i first watched something like this. I started going soda free on dec 2017 but there were rare occasions that i had to chase alcohol with soda.

  • Appreciate Video! Excuse me for the intrusion, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you heard about Saankramer Life Card System (google it)? It is an awesome exclusive guide for learning how to stop drinking without the headache. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my best friend Jordan at very last got astronomical results with it.

  • This video is a push pull too. Vote yes for the tax and your voting for big business and money in politics, regardless of your actual stand on the issue.

I don’t live in CA not sure how I’d vote but the video isn’t any better then the phone call.

  • I’m glad that I only drink water. Soda looks disgusting! I remember when I was very young, sometimes restaurants would give me sprite instead of water I ordered and since it was in a foam cup (for kids), I could never see what was inside. Every time the stuff hit my tongue, I would immediately spit it out. Very glad I did..

  • I think I know the math.
    1kg overweight= -0.25 years of life
    2kg overweight= -0.5 years of life
    3kg overweight= -0.75 years of life
    4kg overweight= -1 year of life
    5kg overweight= -1.25 years of life
    6kg overweight= -1.5 years of life
    7kg overweight= -1.75 years of life
    8kg overweight= -2 years of life
    9kg overweight= -2.25 years of life
    10kg overweight= -2.5 years of life
Conclusion: You lose 0.25 years of life for every 1kg overweight.

  • I have an addiction to Coca-Cola & Sweet Tea. I don’t drink coffee. I have a rare autoimmune disease, Vertigo, some hearing loss, Tinnitus, Anemia, Tooth Decay, Cysts on my Breast. I’ve got to stop, I wanna live!

  • The people who want to tax soda are the ones who dont drink it, so its almost like forcing soda drinkers to pay more, which is pointless.

  • Unfortunately you are not correct about the butter. It is 40% fat not 100 % fat. It is not 900 calories, but 40% of 900 calories.

  • I’ve drank 3 soda cans a day…….for the past 7 years now I’m 13 and I wanna quit untill my mom finishes her school could be 6 mounths or 2 years if I stopped right away will I get sick??? You know like how people who go on diets then they eat a lot and get sick? Eh anyway wish me luck!

  • I could drink a 12 pack of coke a cola in 2 days..man its good on a hot day ice cold..but I know I have to stop so quiting cold turkey today.

  • hi my name is tiesha, and my soda habit is very bad. I drink probly over 1 12 pack a day. but when I try to quit,I get theese really bad headaches. I’m also on birth control and I think it also takes a toll on my craving for food, soda, etc. can you help me to know how to quit for good? thank you.

  • I count calories and if it’s 5 calories and only having one diet soda a day I’m not worried. Still dropping weight and building muscle

  • I used to drink about 2 liters of coke per day, and 6 weeks ago I quit drinking everything but water. Six weeks ago, I weighed 294, today I weigh 310, plus I have a tooth cavity. I guess my body just told me to eat more candy or sugar to make up for the sugar lost in the coke. I didn’t consciously make any changes except to quit drinking soda. I’m convinced that soda is no more dangerous than any other sugary food.

  • Medical students advice… U can drink 1 or 2 drinks in a month or so.. Dont make it a habbit. Too many detrimental effects on ur body. Drink juice instead

  • This is so late but I had to comment this tho I just got well not just got I already drank most of it is that I got 2 free CRATES of coke and now that I have seen this video I am scared

Edit: just to clerifie I of course drank water and I dind’t drink a lot in one day I just drank 1 or maybe sometimes 2 max

  • Hi there, have you heard of BellyFATtack yet? Simply search Google. There you can get a useful free video presentation by a recognized physician teaching about the right way to burn body fat. It helped John to get rid of his stomach fat. I hope it helps you as well…

  • what good information thank you for sharing it. in my case I eliminated my diabetes with this natural guide: “thebigdiabetes-lie. com” (Google it)

  • If you like fruity iced teas sweetened only with lemon or lime, then you should consider fruity herbal teas that you can prepare and consume cold. A box of common herbal teas costs around 3 dollars, and typically has 20 tea bags which will render 160 oz. of tea. (`12 pack of soda-144 oz.) If you add sugar to it, at least you will be in control of how much you add. You will probably add much less sugar than what a can of soda contains. Of course, the general idea over time is to cease adding sugar. You have to become accustomed to preparing tea, but you can zap 64 oz at a time in a microwave. Take it with you on the go, as much as you can. If you’re eating out, try to avoid it. If you have to indulge in soda once a day, try to limit it to (1) 12 oz can of the stuff.

  • Personal choice and responsibility are the issues here. Cigarettes are highly addictive and directly cause cancer to both the user and to those exposed to second hand smoke. I am not going to get diabetes because my roommate is a fat fuck.

Fuck your strawman argument you pompous left wing Rush Limbaugh, stop trying to legislate behavior just because you don’t like it. What you are doing is the same as anti abortion activists.

  • I’m pretty sure that beans are a negative calorie food as well but I have no scientific proof. However I got practical proof which is better. After eating a hand full of beans I fart for the rest of the day. I’m sure the tightening of my abs to expel farts all evening and afternoon has to burn more calories than I consumed. That’s not even taking into account all that extra bowel movement happening.

  • Both have a shit ton of acid that erodes your stomach and is bad for your teeth so I stay away from it meanwhile my dad literally is the manager at our local Coca-Cola Beverages

  • Thanks man_ trying to do better _ water and lemon is goodbut not all of the timejust got to keep staying focusedthanks againb

  • aahhhh fuck off, people have the choice to drink or not drink soda. People also should have the choice to do drugs or not do drugs, the government should stay away from these things. But I know why the government is involved with this shit and its all because of money. They don’t want people to get sick because it wastes a lot of government/hospitals money, not because they genuinely care about people’s health………., and that’s why they increase tax on things that have risks on the human body so they can compensate the money that they lose in hospitals due to insurance companies and free treatment plans. I bet this guy is a doctor who owns hospitals and he is tired of the amounts of sick people that come to his hospital(s) and get treatment for half of the price or for free due to insurance companies and free plans. I have seen right through you sir, people are not that dumb.

  • Strangely the co2 gas in soda has antioxidant effects. Yet sugar has quite the opposite effect, or acts more like a free radical in large quantities. Gases either act like an antioxidant or carrier of electrons, or they act like a free radical. Had soda been made with no sugar, or at least with way less sugar, yet still contained the co2, it would be more like an antioxidant. However modern soda has so much sugar, the co2 is of little benefit that is in it. This is why alkalizing water machines, those made correctly anyway, benefit people as they dissolve more hydrogen gas in the water, which also is an antioxidant. Oxygen of course is considered to act more like a free radical. The body needs free radicals and antioxidants in proper balance to sustain life however. More free radicals then needed can cause health problems. Gases are quite amazing when looked at from this perspective, do a google search on such, you might be amazed.

  • my problem is i hate water. tastes like shit to me. I also love the carbonation, i love the way it burns my throat. i had some decent success moving to a carbonated artificially sweetened water, without caffeine, but its not always possible to stay just drinking it, so i always fall back into old habbits.

  • The best thing you can get are liquid flavourings made from Stevia (a natural, sugar free and low calorie herb that tastes sweeter than sugar). Add some to soda water, and you have guilt free soda.

  • The problem is that soda is often defined just as a beverage with carbonation. In California sparkling apple juice is tax like soda (even though it has no added sugar) while high fructose corn syrup drinks like Hawaiian Punch or Sunny Delight escape the tax because they are non-carbonated.

  • Drinking soft drinks changes our metabolism,Increase our risk of diabetes, heart attacks etc….. So we should avoid this and only drink water…..

  • Soda is made of sparkling water, so why not drink sparkling water? Instead of drinking 7up i just get a bottle of sparkling water and squeeze some lemon and lime, and wola!

  • I need help. I drink about half a gallon of diet soda a day. I have been drinking it every day for ten years. I’ve tried to quit (and succeeded) a few times, but during times of stress I go back to it. I hate it. I want it out of my life. The last two times I quit was by slowly cutting back. The headaches if I don’t drink it are terrible. How can I kick this forever?

  • Well im.screwed I only drink soda lmao have since i was 18 I’m 23 now my mother rarely let me have sodas growing up so now i can drink them whenever the hell I want and developed a slight addiction to them lmao

  • I felt like I was in some kind of lsd fueled circus because of the music but at least you didn’t put spaghetti in it. Bone apple tea

  • Gave up pop completely for about three months. No noticeable difference in how I feel and no difference in weight. I’ve gone right back to it and yet again; no difference

  • If you want govt provided affordable heath care, AND I DO!!.. Then you have to expect them to support healthy initiatives (health ads, education), AND you have to expect them to oppose unhealthy choices (education and TAXES!)….. And I want MY govt to do exactly that!

  • Good Lord I had no idea… I mean I knew there was a lot of sugar in soda but that’s alarming! And Coca-Cola of course it’s supposed to be America’s pastime soda, what fucki&g lies!

  • There are times that I’ve tried quitting and then something happens and I crave it, almost like crutch. When that happens, is there anything you recommend instead? Would carbonated waters with stevia or something like that be good alternatives?

  • What an excellent, well researched piece of propaganda. I only wish I lived in Berkeley so that I too could do my part to increase this nation’s health and bring power back to the people

  • Robert Reich I am disappointed with you. I agree with most of your viewpoints but there is nothing dangerous about sugar drinks as compared to smoking, and any data that comes out is bogus. Drinking sugar drinks has been around for almost a century and there has been no problems until now, and that problem is getting revenue through a tax that is not justified like smoking. This is nothing more than a money grab and you of all people should know better.

  • Longest i was clean was 2 months. But it pulled me back in. Now it’s been 2 days. Something tells me this is it. I’m finally putting a stop to it.

  • Yuck! Soda is just bad in general, isn’t it? Cutting it out of your diet is a great step towards losing weight and BEING HEALTHIER!

  • looking at the US from the outside in…  Citizens United is the biggest sell off of the democratic process I have ever seen or heard off in my life in any democratic country on the planet.  Liberals and conservatives..one would think, could come together on this.  I now realize why the CBC is such a great idea.  A media not beholden to corporate interest…wow…what a concept.  Lastly…what the entire world hoped for has not happened yet.  One of those conservatives sell outs on the supreme court needs to kick the bucket before Obama goes.  Imagine the reverse…a progressive dies to make it 5-4.   It may have been 70 years since many of those billionaires spontaneously came in their pants but they would surely do it again.    The transfer of wealth would be complete and the stars  on the flag would no longer represent states but companies.  We are one Justice away from the United Corporations of America.

  • Not that I disagree with the fact that soda has health risks (extreme ones at that), but the logic you are showing is similar to that of burning a turkey and expecting it not to be gross. Just because after heating it to extreme temperatures it becomes revolting, does not mean the original product is bad for you. Please leave this kind of stuff to scientists because these types of videos are exactly why the topic has so much controversy.

  • As long as we (the american people) keep letting big business have controlling influence in the election of our “public servants” this type of thing is going to keep happening and only get worse.

I do think capitalism is the best system out there, but when corporations are allowed to have the same “voice” as individuals in the electoral/policy setting process we are going to be in big trouble (we are already in big trouble) because they have much deeper pockets that we do.

And nowadays for many corporations the main driving force is the bottom line and they don’t care about the collateral damage their products are causing.

People drinking this stuff cost all of us so much money that I don’t think we even grasp it. While taxing it does have some effect on reducing consumption it is also another example of a tax on the poor (and non-educated or don’t care in terms of health effects on their bodies) in my opinion.

Given the way our government currently works in this example the best way we can vote is in fact with our money.

I try and share with people that what they put into their body effects them physically, mentally and spiritually. If we would all consider such things and make better decisions in this area at the individual level it could change our country for the better in a multitude of ways.

    1) No need to tax things like cigarettes, pepsi etc… (we would not be consuming them). (we can get water for largely cheap and often free) more money saved here for better purposes than making ourselves sick and killing ourselves.

2)Would need less government bureaucracy to monitory, collect and mange these taxes. More freed up money freed up for better purposes.

    3) End wasting time having debates on such topics

    4) End wasting millions and/or billions of dollars spent on lobbying for such efforts

    5) No need for national “health care” system.

    6) Reduction in need for government entitlement programs (less people on disability).

    7) Reduced medicate/medicaid costs

    8) US GNMP goes up people feel better more productive at their jobs

    9) More charity work done feel better, have more energy can spend more quality time serving others.

    10) Glorify God. God tells us in His Word that what we do put in our bodies can glorify Him:

1 Corinthians 10:31 “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”

  • Hilarious what people call their freedom…..their freedom to destroy their bodies! HmmmBerkeley intelligentsia over massive self-indulgence coupled with human greed? Meditate on this: What’s a soda jerk?

  • I am very socially liberal. I believe in universal health care, marriage equality, etc. And I respectfully and humbly disagree with this tax. Governments should be working to promote public health through voluntary means. Personal freedom is very important.

  • Great Video clip! Excuse me for the intrusion, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you heard about Franaar Quit Diabetes Formula (do a google search)? It is an awesome one off product for Getting rid of Diabetes minus the headache. Ive heard some decent things about it and my friend Sam got cool success with it.

  • Thanks for the info. 24 and drinking about 2 or 3 20 OZ a day. I am very scared and I am going to do everything in my power to quit.

  • If it were cocaine (Coke-caine instead of Sugar -caine), we’d have no problem taxing it as it is truly an unnecessary and dangerous product…. Sugar-caine is such a problem when inextricably part of drink consumed daily and advertised as a benign, healthy, energizing and “refreshing” drink to be consumed daily.

  • Just more of others with good intentions trying to make the determinations for others.
Remember the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

  • What an excellent, well researched piece of propaganda. I only wish I lived in Berkeley so that I too could do my part to increase this nation’s health and bring power back to the people

  • I’m 18 days off of soda and chocolate. Watching this 400lbs plus guy I “work” with waddle back and forth to the soda machine disgusted me so much I knew I had to stop. I never even want to remotely resemble him!

  • Fake channel, milk? full of lactose a sugar, fruit juice full of fructose another dangerous sugar, get educated on diabetes dumb arsehole, they both spikes blood sugar and worse are stored in liver as fat causeing Fatty liver disease.

  • What about the caramel colour in soda pop? How about the aspartame and acesulfame in fruit flavoured waters? How about the greatly reduced kidney function as a result of aspartame, acesulfame, and sucralose consumption?

  • The difference between what polls show The People want and the legislation that actually passes proves it: irrationally self-serving corporations whose managers give no thought to the public good have far too much control over our government.  America is turning from a democracy into a plutocracy, in which wealthy corporations and wealthy billionaires rule.

    We need http://www.Wolf-PAC.com now.

  • This was great, thanks, been searching for “can’t sleep stopped drinking?” for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across Baanubrey Illustrious Breakthrough (do a google search )?

It is a great one off product for discovering how to quit drinking minus the normal expense. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my cousin got great results with it.

  • instead of penalizing the taxpayers again, what do you think of legislating the food industry, and limiting the amount of added they sugar they can put into any product??

  • Jokes on these wasteful a**holes, I’m gonna still buy and drink Coke. Not only that they’re gonna be spending a f**kton of time cleaning those bowls. If I could give the whole channel a thumbs down for trying to make coke look bad I would.

  • This is glorious, I been tryin to find out about “can you build muscle without gaining fat” for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across Senictoria Bulking Paradise (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now )? Ive heard some super things about it and my co-worker got great success with it.

  • Cheers for this, I’ve been looking for “how to build muscle without fat” for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of Senictoria Bulking Paradise (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now )? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my friend got excellent results with it.

  • What do you expect, you literally burnt it. What’s your next video gonna be about? Burning bread and saying you will never eat bread again?!

  • Let me guess, weight gain is caused by fizzy drinks. So is this what coca cola turns into when, or if, it’s too hot in your body after drinking it and maybe you get too hot or have eaten hot, hot not spicy, dinners?

  • I like Reich, but he should spend his energy fighting things like “corporate personhood”, which allow this flood of money to influence our elections.  Overturn “Citizens United”!

  • The studies done on individuals drinking diet soda wasn’t very controlled…They pretty much just picked a bunch of people and tracked there weight. The subjects never counted calories/macros…Eating “healthy” doesn’t mean jack if your overeating/under eating. Its all about calorie intake and macro nutrient intake

  • Anyone here who actually stopped drinking coca-cola? I did stop drinking soft drinks or soda years after i first watched something like this. I started going soda free on dec 2017 but there were rare occasions that i had to chase alcohol with soda.

  • Great video content! Sorry for chiming in, I would love your thoughts. Have you researched Patlarny Abstinent Life Principle (do a google search)? It is an awesome exclusive guide for getting rid of a drinking problem minus the headache. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my mate finally got great success with it.

  • I felt like I was in some kind of lsd fueled circus because of the music but at least you didn’t put spaghetti in it. Bone apple tea

  • Both have a shit ton of acid that erodes your stomach and is bad for your teeth so I stay away from it meanwhile my dad literally is the manager at our local Coca-Cola Beverages

  • Why would you want to live longer if can not drink regular coke? I drink 5x220ml can of REGULAR coke daily since college, 5-10 bottles 620ml 5% pilsener beer (quit 5 yrs ago after my 5 yr old daughter would not talk to me), vaping 15mg nic from chain smoking 2×20-pack cigs daily, born in 72 h 165cm w 80kg, yearly blood general checkup numbers are perfectly normal, once every 2-3 years catch cold.

  • When i grow I’m going to go to a restaurant and when the worker comes over to mean and say do you want anything to drink I’m going to say YA BABY IM THIRSTY

  • dont forget that the calories people calling everyday and the labelled amount is actually called kilo calories. But kilo = 1000 which sounds way too much so people just call it calorie even if it is written as kcal.

  • I’m a 12 addicted to soda and I really wanna stop because ik it’s not good for me and it’s the only thing stopping me from becoming fit again

  • Do people really like this stuff so much? I have had maybe one pop in the last 4 years. I don’t even drink juice. What’s the point? Just to have that yucky overly sweet taste? I prefer to have my sugar fermented and consumed at night.

  • What’s next? Putting a tax on time spent in front of a video game or computer? Kids and adults are less active today. We sit around and indulge ourselves. How often do you see someone going for a walk today? We live in a society of convenience today. Unless you focus on not “being fat” you will be over weight in today’s society. Taxing soda won’t stop someone from stuffing their face while sitting on their butts staring at a screen.

  • You may think its gross but its not thats just the suger dye and caffeine all mixed together and hardened from the heat it looks gross but its not if you did taht to any other sodas like pepsi it would be the same just different colors

  • I know drinking pop is a big deal because hear myself saying the exact same things about quitting my Coke habit as my mom did about trying to cut cigs out…  I know I’m addicted and that in it’s self should be a good reason to quit.  I’m not over weight drink one can a day sometimes two.  However I have osteopenia and I use a wheelchair.. I wanna be healthier..  I like the bubbles and the sound of the can when you open it…  for me it’s like a treat when I’m in pain or fatigued..  which is all the time…    I’m getting back on the horse:)  Wish me luck!

  • I prefer an evolutionary approach to weeding out stupidity in the populace. Let those too immature and too lacking in self-discipline to stop smoking, to stop drinking sugary sodas, and so on, continue to indulge themselves. Let them suffer whatever illness their folly brings them, whether cancer or diabetes or something else, and don’t give them any financial assistance with the resulting medical costs. Let them die, and let them die young, before they can beget children to propagate stupidity into the next generation.

  • Coca Cola is my main energy drink

I get so hungry sometimes that i feel im gonna pass out

    Coce always picks me up

Especially during these summer days and the cursed sun

  • I’m gonna try and start drinking carbonated water starting now cause I’m 15 and should better myself, plus it will make my skin way better and for my teeth

  • Calories is a measure of energy. So, if you are a bodybuilder, or other kind of athlete interested in staying fit, you would avoid low calorie foods, right? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CESNfsXgY9I

  • 3:38 “Not a food, it’s beverage”. What did she say? Coffee is a beverage. Coffee gives us energy. Only food gives us energy. So clearly, coffee is a food.

  • “Everything we know is wrong”
No, not everything. Just a lot of things. Including evolution. The smallest life that can reproduce is mindblowingly complex. Like more complex then a large city. It’s a problem so stupid, it’s beyond chicken and egg.. Its like 10 billion chicken and eggs at the same time. Evolution is the new flat earth theory of our time, and that’s why the head of the flat earth society is an evolutionist.
More and more scientists are subscribing to the simulation hypothesis. We are clearly designed and programed right down to our dna.

    Back on topic-
I was never in better shape then when I used to live on soda and hit the gym a bit more. So this war on sugar and calories seems to be bullcrap anyways. Lots of money to be made lying to people as always. Just like all these “scientists” who find soo called “missing link” fossils, that keep turning out to be nothing special. $$$

Don’t bother chasing me out of here with pitch forks and torches, I’m insane enough to chase myself out!

GET OUT OF HERE YOU BUM! THIS CHANNEL IS FOR ATHEISTS ONLY WHO BELIEVE IN EVERYTHING RETURNING TO NOTHINGNESS! So uhm… not sure why they even care to preserve animal species then… kinda pointless if you think too deeply about it since when the last white dwarf in the universe dies well… erm… oh right, sorry, back to what was saying… GET LOST YOU… YOU!!!… CREATARD!!!

=,I’ll take my truths and be gone!

Ya dirty ATHEITARDS? erm… AGNOSTARDS? uhh…. Jesus haters? Yeah, we’ll go with Jesus haters. kthxbye!

  • A progressive tax on soda makes sense if the percentage goes up by ounce. It’s so abused and unhealthy and popular it might as well be called a vice. Why does anybody need a 64 ounce soda anyways?! Geez, eat a leaf once in a while.

And now. IM AMAZED!

  • If you want govt provided affordable heath care, AND I DO!!.. Then you have to expect them to support healthy initiatives (health ads, education), AND you have to expect them to oppose unhealthy choices (education and TAXES!)….. And I want MY govt to do exactly that!

  • Reich’s campaign is alright with me, as long as Coca-Cola (I am a small stock holder) can make its money selling its products in other countries.  Maybe we should urge them to sell coke to all of our enemies.

  • this guy makes his living as a surgeon. the fact y’all are heckling him shows nothing. trolls…. hey good video. I’m trying myself to cut back myself I’m at a 12 pack of Mt.dew a day. I’m 6’4″ at 125 lbs. so I don’t know that overweight is the only hazard in them. trying to gain weight. but I think the sodas are holding that up. dr.matthews think there’s anything to that?

  • Bottle of Vodka contains about 1500 calories, but try getting fat on that, good luck This shows us that negative calories food exists✌️

  • I am very socially liberal. I believe in universal health care, marriage equality, etc. And I respectfully and humbly disagree with this tax. Governments should be working to promote public health through voluntary means. Personal freedom is very important.

  • We should care about carbs more than calories. As long as you’re not eating over 2700 calories if male per day, or 2200 calories if female, you will lose weight.

  • So if drinking cold stuff burns 1 calories per ounce, and Coke Zero has 2 calories, would you lose 10 calories, if you drank it cold??

  • This is junk science. There is no scientific evidence that soft drinks are “toxic” or a “poison” or that anything over one per month is harmful.

They are empty calories and should be consumed, if at all, in small quantities. However, 150 calories a day-even in the form of liquid sugar-is not going hurt anybody, unless perhaps you are a diabetic.

  • I think your wrong how do you know there ain’t some magical ingredients that are body’s can’t digest eventually making them 0 calories because you don’t digest them

  • Just more of others with good intentions trying to make the determinations for others.

  • Nothing causes more suffering and damage to animals, humans and the environment than eating animal products.  For one, the insulin response (read: major fat storage) in high protein, high fat (esp sat fat) meals is higher than that of corn syrup and refined sugar ALONE.  No wonder high carb low fat (HCLF) vegans cure their type 2 diabetes when dropping animal products.  I know, I was one of them.  I’m glad I had a nurse suggest to me to eat high fat breakfasts to “keep me going until lunch” because without her I never would have become full blown type 2 and never would have started researching why it only started happening when i dropped the sugar and went with high protein, high fat.

But I don’t see you promoting a ban on that….

  • I come to this channel for uplifting stories, not exposes on big corporation misdeeds. I could go to ANY news program, newspaper, or guy in his basement with a camera on YouTube for that crap.
Kindly go away and use your own channel Anti-Authority Person number 304415

  • I think I know the math.
    1kg overweight= -0.25 years of life
    2kg overweight= -0.5 years of life
    3kg overweight= -0.75 years of life
    4kg overweight= -1 year of life
    5kg overweight= -1.25 years of life
    6kg overweight= -1.5 years of life
    7kg overweight= -1.75 years of life
    8kg overweight= -2 years of life
    9kg overweight= -2.25 years of life
    10kg overweight= -2.5 years of life
Conclusion: You lose 0.25 years of life for every 1kg overweight.

  • people who dont eat calories are retarded, u need calories to function, its energy for your muscles to operate, and this includes your heart!

  • Reich’s campaign is alright with me, as long as Coca-Cola (I am a small stock holder) can make its money selling its products in other countries.  Maybe we should urge them to sell coke to all of our enemies.

  • The problem is that soda is often defined just as a beverage with carbonation. In California sparkling apple juice is tax like soda (even though it has no added sugar) while high fructose corn syrup drinks like Hawaiian Punch or Sunny Delight escape the tax because they are non-carbonated.

  • I think that what actually has caused smoking to decline isn’t the taxes necessarily, in Washington state, lots of smokers still, they just roll their own.  The decline has to do with the apparent health risks. And people don’t smoke in businesses, homes, or even cars.  Tax increases primarily cause the poor to pay more for bad habits.
Best method is education.  Same thing with sodas. It won’t work unless you educate them on how bad too much sugar in the diet is.

  • Do enjoy  a Mexican made and bottled Coke now and again. Hate Coca Cola’s politics. I can certainly pledge to have had my final cola drink to make a point and save my fat ass from diabetes. Mostly a water drinker it will be no struggle.

  • Aspartame found in diet cola can do some serious damage to your system unfortunately… it has been linked with causing ms symptoms as well as other side effects… I would advise cutting it out it is worse than pop in a few ways.

  • I used to love sodas but i quit cold turkey and now find any soft drinks disgusting. You get used to the taste of water and start loving it. Personally I have nothing against sodas just a personal choice i made.

  • Why do they lie to us why don’t they put the real calories some people including myself always look at the nutrients to know what I’m putting into my body

  • Fats and alcohol are high in kJs/Cals (37 kJ/9 Cal per gram of fat; 29 kJ/7 Cal per gram of alcohol); carbohydrates and protein provide moderate amounts of kJs/Cals (17 kJ/4 Cal per gram); dietary fiber is low in kJs/Cals (8 kJ/2 Cal per gram); and water provides no kJs/Cals (energy).

  • I like Reich, but he should spend his energy fighting things like “corporate personhood”, which allow this flood of money to influence our elections.  Overturn “Citizens United”!

  • Well im.screwed I only drink soda lmao have since i was 18 I’m 23 now my mother rarely let me have sodas growing up so now i can drink them whenever the hell I want and developed a slight addiction to them lmao

  • Drinking soft drinks changes our metabolism,Increase our risk of diabetes, heart attacks etc….. So we should avoid this and only drink water…..

  • I used to drink soda every single day and stopped after experiencing chest pains. Now I drink nothing but water and I’m feeling so much better!

  • Glad I broke the soda habit about 4 years ago. My doc first suggested diet sodadid it for a while and finally got to where I couldn’t stand the taste anymore.

  • Do enjoy  a Mexican made and bottled Coke now and again. Hate Coca Cola’s politics. I can certainly pledge to have had my final cola drink to make a point and save my fat ass from diabetes. Mostly a water drinker it will be no struggle.

  • Appreciate Video! Excuse me for butting in, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you heard about Saankramer Life Card System (do a search on google)? It is an awesome one of a kind guide for learning how to stop drinking minus the normal expense. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my mate finally got excellent results with it.

  • The people who want to tax soda are the ones who dont drink it, so its almost like forcing soda drinkers to pay more, which is pointless.
