THE PUKING PUMPKIN with CHIPS and GUACAMOLE

Video taken from the channel: NOT ANOTHER COOKING SHOW

INGREDIENTS 20 g Plain Corn Chips 2 tbsp Guacamole 1 cup Diced Butternut Pumpkin 1 serve Salt and Pepper. Ingredients 1 tablespoon butter 1 clove scallion clove, chopped 2 cups cheddar cheese 2 cups monterey jack cheese ½ cup milk 1 tablespoon cornstarch 4 oz mild green chillis, 1 can, with juice. Chips, guacamole, and a carved pumpkin are all you need to make this fun puking pumpkin appetizer for Halloween. The guacamole can be homemade or store-bought.

Find a small to medium-sized pumpkin for this idea. A larger pumpkin would be too big. Arrange chips on a tray and evenly top with cheese. Pop in the oven at 180c/356f for 10-15mins or until the cheese is just melted.

Pour over salsa, then sour cream and top with guac (making sure it’s coming out of the pumpkin’s mouth). This is so easy and so good. It’s always the hit of the party and it’s gone before anything else on the table.

For the plain/base guacamole – Serve with Nacho Corn Tortilla Chips. ½ jalapeño* (optional, seeds in or out) 1/2 white onion. ½ cup fresh cilantro leaves. 3 garlic gloves. 1 Tbsp lime juice.

3 large avocados. ¾ tsp salt. ½ tsp fresh ground black pepper. Strawberry Blue Cheese Guacamole – Serve with Multi-Grain Corn Tortilla Chips. Place three pitted and peeled avocados in a large bowl along with the lime juice, garlic, serrano pepper, cumin, and salt. Mash with a fork until the mixture is only slightly lumpy. Dice the last avocado into small pieces and add it to the bowl along with the remaining ingredients.

Gently stir the guacamole to combine. Sunny Anderson makes a Guacamole Pumpkin, as seen on Food Network’s The Kitchen It’s simple! Just carve a small to medium pumpkin so that it looks like it’s making a retching face. Crunchy toasted pumpkin seeds and cotija take this otherwise classic guacamole to new heights. While this makes the stuffed avocados way more fun to eat, it looks horribly messy and unappetizing, so the photo I took for this recipe has a little less chili stuffed into it than I personally like.

  • My boyfriend and I always love watching your recipe videos together because your voice is sooo relaxing and the food always looks so good and we both agree that your videos are clear and concise and there’s no unnecessary rambling. Keep up the amazing work!!! xxxx

  • Yes i offered the thumbs down Why add an unnecessary and obnoxious soundtrack!? Can not mute will miss the verbal audio So thumbs down and move on

  • Please take this in the spirit of the holidays…. If I need surgery for any reason at all, please do not perform the surgery yourself. Thank you very much. Another great episode. I love your creativity.

  • while the flashing effects on pumpkin showcase were pretty cool you should warn people before, epilepsy is a scary thing, great vid as always:)

  • Oh Yum! I’ll have to try adding beans to my guacamole! I’ve never thought about that!!! I would go really good with the yummy Nacho Chez dip video I just made!!

  • This gives me flashbacks to the only part of Team America that really made me cringe. I hope that I get to make this appetizer. Nice job.

The pumpkin wont catch on fire. Burn that candle all you want. Local hoodlums will throw the pumpkin into the street and stomp it before it is ever dry enough for ignition. Or that one hour candle will go out long before, so you are good. Except for the stomped pumpkin in the street.

  • thank you so so much for this!!! I’ve been looking for a video on low fat tortilla chips as I love tortilla chips and they’re my favorite snackbut the fat!

  • Oh how I love avocado! This looks amazing! Unfortunately I am allergic to avocado. I have heard of pea guacamole but haven’t tried it Great video, those chips are really crisp

  • Everyone is here because of snap you don’t have to be like “OMG anYkne here from Snapchat add my snap retardmcgay69420”

  • Cómo mexicano te digo que así no se hace el guacamole el aguacate se tiene que rajar con el cuchillo no partir a la mitad, todo lo demás es tan antojable

  • Wow, Bro your chopping skills is so good♥.
    Are you a chef bro??????
I am serious that your chopping skill is x1000 time better than me.
I always cut my fingers without cutting the fruit or vegetable .
That’s is the reason I eat noodles when I am alone in my home.

  • Hi guys My nome is Rayssa Yours From Brazil ❤️❤️

Bom gente não sei se escrevi certo pq não usei o tradutor kkk

  • I like this, but I’d prefer to find some way to incorporate pumpkin with the flavor. Like instead of using guac and tortilla chips, use pumpkin pie filling and graham crackers or something. Visually the guac looks better though

  • I could make a low class version, jk. Awesome interpretation of a classic. New to your guru, every project showcases your ability to create. Each video I’ve watched inspires a shopping list and gives me confidence to hone some new and old skills. Thank you

  • This recipe is sooo goood!!! I couldn’t stop eating it!
I’m so excited i found your channel, i love all of your videos, and, by the way, i saw in a couple of them that you didn’t know why do you have (or did have, cause i can see your skin is super clear, but this can help you out in times of despair:P) acne if you ate so wholesome.
I have the same problem and recently i found this: http://www.drweil.com/vitamins-supplements-herbs/supplements-remedies/zinc/. It talks about the functionality of zinc in the body and how the lack of it can cause skin problems. My self, a vegetarian, never worried about zinc (because they always talk about protein, iron bla bla bla), but i started looking in to this and i think i finally found my long search answer and i hope it’s the same for you!

And you are awesome… i just needed to say that… and thank you for sorting out your tortillas like that, it gave me mental peace

  • I absolutely love a lot of cilantro in my guac, cilantro is the shit! I love your idea of bulking it up with beans because I too can eat bowls of guac at one sitting. Thanks for the tip!

  • HAHA! Classy and Sick at the same time. I enjoyed watching you go after that! FYI, Lit candles will darken the inner top of the pumpkin but it will not catch on fire. As a little kid, we always put a candle stub into the jackolanterns. But…… they were outside. So if indoors, I guess you have a point about electric candles.

  • Guys, you need to chill. Have you ever tried almonds, apples, mango, or whatnot in guacamole? If not, quit judging. People need to be more open minded with new things. Not everything has to be done in the traditional way. If someone likes it with a twist or something, don’t judge it until you try it.

  • Try mine
    4 avacodos
2 cups of crushed hot cheetos
    1/2 cup of lemon juice
    1/4 cup of Cayenne pepper
    1 cup of diced onions
    1 cup of cut cilantro
    1/2 cup of cherry tomatos

  • you are so creative for this, wow! I am going to amaze my friends one day at my halloween party with the puking pumpkin! thanks

  • My guacamole recipe that you can eat at any Mexican event (I do Anyways)
2x diced babies fresh out of the womb
1x finely chopped milk cube (make sure they are very frozen)
3x drops of tears from the baby turtles of the dark side of the moon
    2x Gordan Ramsey toes (whole)
3x bags of chilli flakes scraped from the fire bugs found in the lava lake next to your bed
Mix all of these ingredients up and leave it for 30 minutes
Put the mixture on a cast iron pan and let it simmer for 10 minutes
Put on a serving bowl and voula!
Please try my recipe, I’ve worked so hard on it over my 13 years of life and you will not regret making it and serving it to your friends!

  • “I like it, it’s different, but if we go around not liking things different from us, come on, man, America, wake up”
this is 2020 in a nutshell

  • Watching this because I REALLY BADLY want to try guac but nobody else in my family likes avocados
🙁 I’ve never tried them but I want to so bad!

  • honestly the weirdest thing in this video is that i grew up using a mortar and pestle to make quac in order to make sure the cilantro was ground up so that the juice would be thoroughly mixed in, so seeing it made in a bowl with a fork or potato masher is Whack

  • Sarah, I your stumbled across your wonderful channel. You have inspired me to go Vegan for a week or longer. I BIG problem I am having… Where do I start? What do I shop for? It was so interesting to me,  when I went to the store I was lost lol. Normally I’m in and out no biggie. But I’m not giving up, sending out a S.O.S. A video for the Vegan beginner would be so helpful. If anyone else has any tips please share them with me. Jai Bless

  • Thoughts I have while watching this video
    1. Damn girl your hair looks little mermaid chic, but what kind of sorcery are you playing on my precious guac.
    2. THATS SO MANY JALEPENOS
    3. I should have thought of the white bean thing……

  • what a brilliant idea! definitely gonna try my guacamole this way now….I usually feel like it’s too much avocado anyway, so this is perfect. btw, Cap’n crunch is vegan! so are corn pops too! ha ha

  • Generally breakfast cereals technically aren’t vegan because the added vitamin d3 is animal derived. That’s what I have heard and it may be extreme for some

  • Here’s mine even though I’m not famous

    1. 2 avocados
    2. 1/2 a sliced tomato
    3. Spinach
    4. 1/4 sliced onion
    5. A drop of lime juice
    6. A pinch of salt
    7. A pinch of pepper
    8. Enjoy
