Chicken Shawarma Pita Pizzas. 4 whole-wheat pitas. 1 1/2 cups (170g) skinless rotisserie chicken breast, shredded. 3/4 teaspoon ground cumin. 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder.

1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric. 3/4 cup (150g) tomato, diced. 3/4 cup (150g) cucumber, diced.

1/4 cup (5g) fresh flat-leaf parsle. Chicken 1 chicken breast 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 teaspoon garlic, minced 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper 1/4 teaspoon paprika 1/8 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper. To Assemble. 6 Large pita breads.

1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese. Roma tomatoes sliced. Pickled banana peppers sliced. Roasted red peppers diced. Red onion sliced.

Flat leaf parsley roughly chopped. To make the chicken shawarma, I took boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut them into bite sized-ish pieces, and marinated them for about 20 minutes in the first 6 ingredients from this recipe. Then I simply sauteed it all in a pan until the chicken was cooked through.

Drizzle the cucumber yogurt garlic sauce on top!Char large pita breads on each side or Naan breads. To serve pizzas, spread a thin layer of hummus on the bread and top hummus with sliced chicken. Drizzle or use a squirt bottle to give them a swirl of Tahini sauce.

Garnish pizzas with tomatoes, herb. This chicken shawarma skillet pizza is a new favorite around here! It’s a quick recipe that is made with a lot of personality and flavor.

Chicken is coated with Pompeian Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, curry powder, cumin, lemon, juice, and garlic and cooked until browned. Char large pita breads on each side or Naan breads. To serve pizzas, spread a thin layer of hummus on the bread and top hummus with sliced chicken.

Drizzle or use a squirt bottle to give them a swirl of Tahini sauce. Garnish pizzas with tomatoe. Instructions In a large zip-top bag, combine the lemon juice, 1/2 cup olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, cumin, paprika, oregano and red-pepper flakes. Add the chicken, zip the top of the bag and give it a quick shake to combine. Refrigerator.

In a mixing bowl combine the olive oil, honey, garlic, cumin, paprika, allspice, turmeric, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Cut the boneless, skinless chicken thighs into bite-sized cubes and mix the chicken into the spice mixture. Allow the chicken. Place enough chicken on each pita so that it covers 1/4 of the bread.

Add veggies and pour some sauce over all. Roll like a burrito and you have shawarma! You also can slit the pita open to form a pocket and stuff it.

  • There is no cabbage n cucumber in the original shawerma!also there no such thing as shawerma sauce….they just use Taheena (sesame seed paste) and garlic sauce…..

  • This is a great recipe but strangely, even though the content is really sped up to the point I found I missed several of the ingredients, because of the repetitive music, I found the video felt long and tiring.
