Just please be sure to ear Chia seeds in a lot of liquid, i.e. in smoothies, cooked with oatmeal, or make Chia pudding. There have been cases where people were taking Chia straight from a tbsp alone and they suffocated as the seeds swelled in their throats. These seeds need liquid to swell to their edible size.

For1 year now, I eat 4tbls in half a 1liter of yogurt and 1 banana. I dont soak them at all, like them crunchy. My nails were very frail and now they are strong, my hair is better and my digestion great.

This is my formula (please don’t tell nobody is a protected personal secret), I mix 4 tablespoon in a 64 fl. oz. of water and to add taste I uses gatorade or lemonade powder (your choice of how much), let it sit for few hours or until all the Chia seeds are on the bottom of the container then eventually I drink a glass of Chia seeds in a period of one day or two and then expect the miracle of these seeds. In case that if you don’t experiences anything the first time you try it please don’t give up because sooner or later it will kick in your intestines and you’ll be surprised!!

I am a type two diabetic. My morning sugars were high as 16. My doctor finally put me on insulin and it dropped slightly to about 12. I started taking chia and it plummeted. I have even been waking up with 6 and 7. I have no doubt chia is helping me control my sugar.
I still have to return to the doctor to discuss this with him. I want to know why chia is not prescribed for type two diabetics from the get go. I have been suffering high sugar and struggling with various pills and even insulin. As my doctor explained though my sugars are satisfactory in the daytime my liver pumps out sugar at night.
I have been taking the chia seeds dry and swallowing it with a mouthful of water. I suspect (and please guide me if anyone can) that taking it dry helps absorb more sugar as the chia seeds swell.
I have also read that one should take chia after it has absorbed water as the benefits are greater. I am doing so as well now by adding a teaspoon in a shake that I take in the day. At night I take one teaspoon of dry seeds.

I’ve recently started using Chia seeds to lose weight hopefully… Plus I’m trying to eat healthier…I make a lemon drink. I add 2 tbls of Chia to two thinly sliced lemons, I tablespoon of honey,.(add more honey for a sweeter taste). Plus add 2 tbls pure apple cider vinegar… Add all the above to approx 52 FL oz boiling water,,, turn of heat, and let seep for about 15mins….. I then pour the whole contents into a wide neck bottle….place lid on and let chill in fridge…. Drink twice a day untill gone…takes about 3days to empty your bottle…. Shake eah time before you pour out every drink……. When empty bottle remains.. empty and discard lemon riinds…rinse out bottle and make a fresh batch…… I been using this for two weeks now and lost 3 lbs.

They are also good for runners. I was a cross country runner and marathon runner and would drink chia seems with water. The Mayans would use them too when they would go on battle for energy. That’s why I started using them. Best source of energy before a long run

I started eating chia seeds about a week ago…a TBSP in the morning and evening. I soak them in milk for 20 minutes, add 3 TBSPS hemp hearts and a 1/4 cup granola. I have fibromyalgia and I’ve noticed it is helping a bit, not a lot, but hey, it’s an improvement. Can’t wait to see the affects after a month!

I add 2 tbls of Chia to two thinly sliced lemons, I tablespoon of honey,.(add more honey for a sweeter taste). Plus add 2 tbls pure apple cider vinegar… Add all the above to approx 52 FL oz boiling water,,, turn of heat, and let seep for about 15mins….. I then pour the whole contents into a wide neck bottle….place lid on and let chill in fridge…. Drink twice a day untill gone…takes about 3days to empty your bottle…. Shake eah time before you pour out every drink……. When empty bottle remains.. empty and discard lemon riinds…rinse out bottle and make a fresh batch…… I been using this for two weeks now and lost 3 lbs.

I started eating chia seeds about a week ago…a TBSP in the morning and evening. I soak them in milk for 20 minutes, add 3 TBSPS hemp hearts and a 1/4 cup granola. I have fibromyalgia and I’ve noticed it is helping a bit, not a lot, but hey, it’s an improvement. Can’t wait to see the affects after a month!

Thanks for making the video, but I think there were only 22 reasons. That it’s vegan and vegetarian friendly and doesn’t have milk, eggs or nuts in them was kind of too evident. Like: chia seeds absorb a lot of light when they are black and not white.
They are also good for runners. I was a cross country runner and marathon runner and would drink chia seems with water. The Mayans would use them too when they would go on battle for energy. That’s why I started using them. Best source of energy before a long run

There have been cases where people were taking Chia straight from a tbsp alone and they suffocated as the seeds swelled in their throats. These seeds need liquid to swell to their edible size.

Could you pls explain why we can not consum more than 2 tbsp of Chia seeds a day? With Chia seeds, if they are ate whole (added in yogurt, etc) won’t their primary benefit be fiber and saitey? Since it is difficult to effectively chew them up, wouldn’t it be necessary to put them in a blender in order to get the FULL (I wonder about the %?) Benefits of the proteins, OMEGAs and nutrients?…….. Because often times I believe, whole grains are often digested intact, as anyone who has eaten corn or those 13 multi-grain breads can attest to.

Great but I don’t know about all the benefit he mention in this video, but one thing I can assures you is that Chia seeds are great for your intestinal and stomach health, it works to help you remove as much stool out your system (intestine) and if you suffer from heartburn Chia seeds will alleviate at least 70% of your distress. This is my formula (please don’t tell nobody is a protected personal secret), I mix 4 tablespoon in a 64 fl. oz. of water and to add taste I uses gatorade or lemonade powder (your choice of how much), let it sit for few hours or until all the Chia seeds are on the bottom of the container then eventually I drink a glass of Chia seeds in a period of one day or two and then expect the miracle of these seeds. In case that if you don’t experiences anything the first time you try it please don’t give up because sooner or later it will kick in your intestines and you’ll be surprised!!

I am a type two diabetic. My morning sugars were high as 16. My doctor finally put me on insulin and it dropped slightly to about 12. I started taking chia and it plummeted. I have even been waking up with 6 and 7. I have no doubt chia is helping me control my sugar.
I still have to return to the doctor to discuss this with him. I want to know why chia is not prescribed for type two diabetics from the get go. I have been suffering high sugar and struggling with various pills and even insulin.
As my doctor explained though my sugars are satisfactory in the daytime my liver pumps out sugar at night.
I have been taking the chia seeds dry and swallowing it with a mouthful of water. I suspect (and please guide me if anyone can) that taking it dry helps absorb more sugar as the chia seeds swell.
I have also read that one should take chia after it has absorbed water as the benefits are greater. I am doing so as well now by adding a teaspoon in a shake that I take in the day. At night I take one teaspoon of dry seeds.
The only side effect is that I found I became slightly constipated and that is why I reduced the amount taken to only two teaspoons per day.
A diabetic friend of mine tells me that he stopped taking chia because it dropped his sugar way too much!

I have been implementing this specific cholesterol manual “Hοzantο Axy” (Google it) for high cholesterol level. Have been utilizing it for around several weeks and also have noticed my Cholesterol numbers dropped enough that I do not fight with my Doctor. any further. I started eating chia seeds about a week ago…a TBSP in the morning and evening. I soak them in milk for 20 minutes, add 3 TBSPS hemp hearts and a 1/4 cup granola. I have fibromyalgia and I’ve noticed it is helping a bit, not a lot, but hey, it’s an improvement. Can’t wait to see the affects after a month!

Chia seed is very good for health especially to loose weight or belly fat,is good for inflamation, have been drinking chia seeds with warm water early in the morning before taking my breakfast, believe me it really works for me.

Great info! I eat Chia Seeds everyday for over 1yr together with my young kids it’s microsliced so it retains the essential oils and easy digested. I hydrate, cook and bake with it and it has been a game changer keeping healthy.

Thanks for making the video, but I think there were only 22 reasons. That it’s vegan and vegetarian friendly and doesn’t have milk, eggs or nuts in them was kind of too evident. Like: chia seeds absorb a lot of light when they are black and not white.
Could you pls explain why we can not consum more than 2 tbsp of Chia seeds a day? I just make a base of 1/3 cup of seeds in 2 cups water and have them ready whenever I want to make pudding or just dilute with water for a drink. Is there any adverse effects if I eat too much? I’ve recently started using Chia seeds to lose weight hopefully… Plus I’m trying to eat healthier…I make a lemon drink. I add 2 tbls of Chia to two thinly sliced lemons, I tablespoon of honey,.(add more honey for a sweeter taste). Plus add 2 tbls pure apple cider vinegar… Add all the above to approx 52 FL oz boiling water,,, turn of heat, and let seep for about 15mins….. I then pour the whole contents into a wide neck bottle….place lid on and let chill in fridge…. Drink twice a day untill gone…takes about 3days to empty your bottle…. Shake eah time before you pour out every drink……. When empty bottle remains.. empty and discard lemon riinds…rinse out bottle and make a fresh batch…… I been using this for two weeks now and lost 3 lbs.
I only discovered Chia seeds for myself a few weeks ago..Before that I had low energy and stomach problems. I was also hungry most of the day. Now I have good energy and no stomach problems. I feel good. YES TO CHIA. I am 69, so not tool late to learn and benefit.

Didn’t happen over-night, but it did happen. A1c=5.7 (type 2 diabetes) and blood pressure has come down. We really are what we consume, aren’t we?

I use chia seeds in almost everything. My favorite meal is boil fresh tomatoes with fresh garlic and ginger, chia seeds, raw sunflower seeds, oregano, salt, fresh lemon and olive oil. Cleans the body and feels great energy!!!!!
My mixture is Flax seeds,Chia seeds,Hemp seeds,Sunflower seeds,Pumpkin seeds,Sesame seeds all grind-ed except the hemp seeds

This video is very informative and helpful for people because we usually dont see anyone uploading about the bad sides to warn people and be careful.
They are also good for runners. I was a cross country runner and marathon runner and would drink chia seems with water. The Mayans would use them too when they would go on battle for energy. That’s why I started using them. Best source of energy before a long run

Chia is good but for some people it is not…like people who has low blood pressure and with gastric trouble…chia is not for you.
Just please be sure to ear Chia seeds in a lot of liquid, i.e. in smoothies, cooked with oatmeal, or make Chia pudding. There have been cases where people were taking Chia straight from a tbsp alone and they suffocated as the seeds swelled in their throats. These seeds need liquid to swell to their edible size.

This might be a dumb question…If I’m fasting & eating only one meal a day in the evenings, can I put some chia seeds into my coffee in the morning to help me cut cravings & maybe give me alil more energy w/o raising blood sugar or insulin? (One day I hope to quit coffee too)
