  • Hi Lisa, I really enjoy your channel and blog. I was wondering if you could do a video describing the benefits of certain things like chia seeds, flaxseeds, turmeric, maca, protein powders and also how you eat them. I’ve just read different things for example with chia seeds that you have to soak them in water first and then consume them. I love the way you explain things. Thanks in advance.

I use almond milk and the pack reads to use all of it within 5 days of opening. So would you reckon it would go bad beyond 5 days in the fridge when as part of chia pudding meal prep? Or in the freezer?

  • Yes she knows about the layering! I’ve tried chia pudding with others milk but for some reason I prefer coconut milk. Honestly, chia pudding pairs the best with coconut because coconut milk is the most neutral tasting non dairy milk IMO. I’m so glad I discovered these recipes because I used to go to liqueteria and spend almost $8 on chia parfaits when I can just make it at home! And the best part is you can control the amount of sugar and sweetness

  • This looks so delicious and I need variety because I’ve been eating the same thing.I’ve never tried overnight oats but this looks so yummy! I’m a breakfast and brunch kinda woman.

  • Also, PRO tip; just add a LITTLE coconut creamer. I don’t know why I added a lot (I was trying to make it layered) and it started rising and threw off the whole aesthetic I was going for lol. Also I used coconut cream that comes in the cab from Trader Joe’s. It was pretty good!

  • Yummy, I’ve done this for a while, but these recipes are soooo loaded with unnecessary calories. Plain soy milk has less calories to start with. Plus dairy is nasty unless you’re a calf.
