  • This is a great list. Learned some new tricks and was reminded or affirmed of some I knew. I would add two more that I’ve found helpful, especially for people who have difficulty avoiding carbs. Overnight oats using water and adding cinnamon and Walden Farms Maple Syrup (I usually eat a cup of oats which is 300 calories). And then stove popped popcorn with nutritional yeast. It’s about 400 calories from popping 5 tbsp and using a tbsp or so of olive oil. Nutritional yeast gives it a cheddary taste and packs nutrients and low in calorie. Both will keep you full for quite a while and high in fiber, nutrients and decent protein for a carb.

  • Hello Max, thank you for providing a ton of useful advice, i really appreciate your channel, just wanted to say i do not agree with one of your recommendations the one about the “good” protein bars (and most Dieticians or Medical Doctors do either with anything that comes with artificial sweetners like sucralose and those brands like “Pure Protein” and “Quest” use then, they are linked to cancer and most of all they are proven to cause and worsen diabetes, enlarge thymus glands and liver!. Sucralose is also used as a PEST CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE! Yes you read that right this thing they use to “sweeten” our food is also used to kill bugs, that is how safe this product is and since supplements are not subject to FDA approval, anyone uses a lot of these life destroying products. What is the solution? Use ARTIFICIAL SWEETNER FREE protein bars or protein powders. I will not name any brand because then everyone will think i am advertising, but you can find a TON of different brands and i believe all of them are ok since they went the extra mile to eliminate all CHEAP and TOXIC sweetners. Don’t worry about the price, you can find a ton for the same price of any chemical sweetned bars, just google for them.   • for protein pancakes, I highly recommend kodiak pancake mix. They’re meant to be a whole brak=eakfast food (for some) with one serving being about 3-4 pancakes for 200 calories. This may or may not be enough for some people’s breakfast but they taste really good and theres a bunch of different flavors.

    at the end of the day calories in should be less than calories out
    Even if you eat carbs but low calories throughout the day then the body will use the fat even when not doing workout

  • Guys. lost tons of weight doesn’t need to be hard (I used to feel it did). I will give you some advice now.     I recently read that capcaicin(found in chillies) can work againts the growth of prostate cancer wich leads to erectile dysfunction (but negative effects of spicy food on some people may be heartburn but can be subdued by eating yogurt).

    Anyway, i’m still trying to find out if the capcaicin in chillies can prevent (or atleast subdue) erectile dysfunction and what other benefits there may be hiding in foods and spices that pass us daily but can help us live a healthier and happier life!

  • You really overrate eggs. It’s selenium content is significant which is not that much better then what tofu has.
    For vitamin A you could eat liver or even better, sweet potatoes or carrots what your body can regulate.
    For vitaminB… which vitaminB? It’s almost devoid of B1, B3, B6, and B12 is something that everyone should supplement by default (but have bloodworks done time to time), since we take it out of our water and don’t reinforce it back.
    For B5 broccoli is a healthier source, or mushrooms.
    For folate you could simply just eat lentils also their overall protein content is almost the same by gramms with a favourable composition with lower methionine content.

    Personally I would make a meal out of these components, and pack it. A great composition would satisfy my needs better then eggs compared by calories.

    Pro eggs:
    It’s B2 content is high, and it’s really practical as you said.
