Ingredients 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar 1 cup sliced strawberries 1 cup halved cherry or grape tomatoes 1 cup halved mini mozzarella balls 1 ripe avocado pitted and diced 1/3 cup loosely packed basil torn or chopped Extra-virgin olive oil for drizzling Sea salt. This recipe is fruit salad meets a caprese salad with a twist of fresh avocado, sweet strawberry, basil, and yummy mozzarella balls. All topped off with a wonderful balsamic glaze. How to Make Strawberry Avocado Caprese Salad. As always, start off with the freshest, ripest, sweetest berries you can get.

My favorite is, of course, organic local fresh-picked strawberries. Summer time is the best time for hoarding all the juicy berries. Ditto for the fresh basil. If you’re lucky enough to grow your own, you’ve got that. How to make Strawberry and Avocado Caprese Salad Recipe To begin making the Strawberry and Avocado Caprese Recipe, take a big bowl add in the sliced strawberries, cubes avocado, halved cherry tomatoes and toss it with olive oil, salt and sugar.

Just before serving, add in the balsamic vinegar and mix well. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds. In a small saucepan, bring the balsamic vinegar to a high simmer over medium heat. Stir, then reduce the heat to low and simmer until the vinegar has thickened and reduced by half, 8 to 10 minutes.

Set aside to cool. Place the strawberries, tomatoes, mozzarella, avocado, and basil in a shallow bowl or platter. Meanwhile, In a large mixing bowl, add cut up strawberries, chopped tomatoes, chopped mozzarella cheese, cut up avocado and fresh basil.

Stir caprese salad to mix well. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Mix strawberry caprese salad well again till all ingredients are covered.

In a large bowl, toss together red tomatoes, yellow tomatoes, diced avocado, mini mozzarella balls, and basil. In another small microwave safe bowl, heat honey for 15-20 seconds in the microwave to thin out. Whisk together with white balsamic and olive oil.

Pour dressing over tomatoes and basil. Directions. In a small bowl, whisk together the sugar, olive oil, honey, vinegar, and lemon juice. Set aside. Place the salad greens in a pretty bowl, and top with sliced avocado and strawberries.

Drizzle dressing over everything, then sprinkle with pecans. Place corn in pot and cook for 10 minutes. Transfer corn to cutting board and let cool, then use a knife to cut corn off the cob. 2) Place strawberries, tomatoes, avocado, corn, mozzarella and basil in a serving bowl. Combine vinaigrette ingredients in a small bowl, then drizzle over salad.

Ingredients. 4 medium tomatoes, sliced. 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves. 1/2 pound fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced.

BALSAMIC VINAIGRETTE: 2 tablespoons olive oil. 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar. 1 teaspoon ground mustard.

1/8 teaspoon salt.

  • Have you done a carrot cake recipe? I tried this vegan carrot cake at veggie grill and woooow I don’t know how they make it so moist and creamy as a vegan recipe. Either way, I’d love to see your take on it:D

  • Better idea if you actually cut the avocados and use them as pard of the salad, then just utilize the peel of the avocado to serve

  • I’ll try this, but as a vegan, I’ll use a non-dairy mozzarella. I have fresh basil growing in my kitchen window so, I’m looking forward to using it in this recipe. tfs this!

  • This looks delicious. I actually think my one year old grandson would live this. He adores strawberries and avocados and eats them regularly. Adding the chunks of mozzarella small enough would do the job. Thanks for the recipe!

  • Could you do a video on vegetarian chili beans? I’m looking for a flavorful chili-like recipe but I really don’t like the flavor of chile powder or cumin, crazy huh? I know you can do it!
