Dr. told me today that I’m producing quite less haemoglobin that’s anemia, but the same time I’ve had thalassemia since birth, that’s excess amount of iron.. So what do I really have!!!??? An anemia with excess of iron!
I had a iron deficiency since i was 7. And i was always a depressed kid with anxiety since i became overweight when i was 11. That time was the most happiest years of my life.
I was diagnosed with it in 2014. This was a couple of years after I stopped eating red meat. I had just graduated from college and was dealing with parents’ illnesses. My doctor prescribed me 2 doses of 65mg iron with 1000mg of vitamin C. I am tired of taking this daily. I am having trouble keeping food down. I am still sluggish and I have trouble falling asleep at night. If I miss a day or two, I get dizzy spells and fall asleep in the middle of the day. I need help. What do I do about all of this?
I have been suffering severely for the past 2weeks being seen by a doctor in few days. I have NO energy whatsoever I’m sleepy majority of the day previously I would detox daily and i would be fine.
A few years back I had been suffered from anemia problem, but after using Planet Ayurveda Anemia Care Pack now I really feel much better. it’s an herbal product.
I am anemic and I have a fast metabolism so its acc so hard to gain weight. I need to definitely research some things to help me gain weight thankyou x
I haven’t gone to the doctor, but whenever I stand up I get so dizzy. I have to wait several seconds before getting up to prevent that. I have brittle nails, and I’m always craving ice. Lately I’ve been getting headaches, too. Both sides of my family have a history of heart problems. If this isn’t an indication that I have anemia, idk what is.
When I went to Mexico I took a test there, and they said I had low iron. I came back to the US after visiting my family, I took a test here twice, they said I had low iron but that’s all they said, they just told me to eat broccoli no extra information or visits. I have felt this way about for 5 years, could it be because I started my period very early at the age of nine? I don’t know what to do, I can’t get up and I like to do sports but I get out of breath quickly. I eat meat and broccoli soup but I’m still like this. I don’t have any energy to do anything, I feel lazy and useless. I haven’t been to the doctor for this for about a few years.
Certain pathological bacteria in the gut feed on and deplete iron. PalaferCf should be taken with a good probiotic. Optimal Ferritin is 150 ug to 300 ug, 40 ug is the new ultra low, athletes non-competitive should be above 80 ug, competitive ideally 150 ug. Vitamin A is required to transport iron. Remember that iron deficiency is a global marker for all deficiencies and indicates poor diet or poor absorption. Patients with chronic low iron need dietary support and education such as a referral to a dietician at the least, or a GI specialist if other symptoms. Mental health will be affected with chronic low iron, as it is a global marker.
I’m really worried I have an iron deficiancy because my mum doesn’t think I do and I’m just overracting but I have every symptom and I get really dizzy extremely easily which is scary. I eat broccoli and I take iron tablets but If it gets worse, I get scared my mum will still think I’m overreacting and wont take me to the doctor so it gets a whole lot worse. And i’m female so obviously I have to deal with that time of the month so its really difficult.
I want to be part of this trial..anemic for over 20yrs due to heavy periods..supplements can never fully get my levels to optimum levels. Im tired of feeling tired
IBS heart palpitations and acid reflux and chronic fatigueI was anemic and I had blood in stoolI’m dairy and gluten free now and have no more IBS symptoms but still slightly anemic
Being vegan made my anemia worse. We need Iron more than we need a liver. Now I eat beef AND take Iron supplements. Can’t be helped. They even diagnosed me as bipolar but that is probably misdiagnosis. Iron seems to have fixed all that. Sometimes you just have to eat beef for iron.
My ferritin is 3 but supplements don’t work as it makes my stomach hurt, and doctor doesn’t want to do infusion… please help I feel really bad and want to die but I know it’s the low iron that makes me feel this way
I used to remain always anemic, weak despite of being taking proper diet, taken lots of medicines but anemia care pack by planet ayurvedia has given me satisfactory @t dont feel any kind of weakness.
I’m not managing it well. Found out i had chrons at 17 whilst addressing another health incident and had to get blood transfusions. Never had issues before. Was like all of a sudden I had a bunch of conditions so I didnt welcome the doctors information. I was also vegetarian at the time, and had been since I was 8 because raw meat freaked me out. Didn’t take the diagnosis too seriously because I hadn’t had symptoms or issues and thought till they arrive I’m fine to carry on living as before. Now I’m 27 and it’s like I’m a 50 yr old chain smoker some days. I struggle with lots of stairs and simple cleaning around my apartment, have a patch of hair that stopped growing last year so i don’t look cute without creative manipulation of my hair. My nails are brittle and everytime i stand up from laying down i feel woozy. Why now I don’t know, I was coping just fine. But I think about how long I’ve been depriving myself and what has that meant for my body. Didn’t want to get on medication but taking an iron supplement hoping this helps. 2020 has been confusing I’m crossing fingers I’m heading on an up from here
I have leaky gut, I am barely absorping all the nutrients from my diet. I tried healing my gut with L-glutamine and it helped a bit. But I think I lack certain digestive enzymes cause of age. I am constantly anemic, and a strong perscription iron supplement does wonders, for a bit, and then it makes me severely constipated. I would have to eat steak all day long, around 50 steaks, to get the amount that is in the supplement since some gets lost. So I am stuck. Could I get an iron shot?
I am only 14. I get so dizzy and feel so weak even from walking up the stairs. I am also fairly skinny. Although I didn’t yet go to the doctor because of Covid-19, anemia runs in my family and I am pretty sure I have it.
When someone is diagnosed with just about any type of mental illness the first thing doctors should do is put them on chelated iron, methylated folate, and give the B-12 and multi-B vitamin injections. Plus lot’s of Magnesium.
Is Canker sores are also one of the symptoms? because I’m having a lots of canker sores rightnow and last week i also had 3 but after three days it was gone then after 3 days again it cameback again.

I definitely learned about iron supplements and different forms of iron. But, as I see it, what’s wrong with eating your iron in food?:) Like duck and chicken liver, dark chocolate and spinach? Unless one is vegan or smth. What do you think?
