To boost the protein—and thus give our cookies more substance and chew—we swapped in 4 ounces of high-protein almond flour for a portion of our blend.
Mix, drop by teaspoon onto a greased cookie sheet, and bake about 10 minutes at 375°F. Sprinkle with sugar (and cinnamon, if you like) or gelatin dessert right out of the package when they come out of the oven.
men, to be honest my family was extremely happy when I made these today.. They were so delicious.. had to give my neighbor some… love ur presentation… its incredibly awesome. keep up the good work!
I am diabetic and looking for Low FAT and Low Sugar and Low Carbo’s recipe but super high on protein. Any suggestions might want some artificial sugar, chocolate chips and maybe some nuts or resins not to much. Maybe some brand fiber. A nice soft cookie would be ideal for children and adults. Any suggestions ideas
You know that the white whole wheat is wheat flour it is just from red winter wheat? Same nutritional value and benefits as stone ground wheat just better for baking. My family never knows I’m giving them wheat.

I live in Brazil and I love your channel! I noticed that apple sauce is used in many recipes, but I can’t get apple sauce in Brazil Is there anything I could use as a substitute? Thank you and keep up the good work!
Thanks a lot for a great recipe! Today I tried replacing whey with casein and the results were spectacular. The dough was exactly like regular cookie dough, pliable but not sticky, didn’t require freezing. The taste and texture were so good people thought these were just normal cookies. They do need flattening though as making them into balls will produce buns. Also I used maple syrup instead of sugar and pulverized an apple in my food processor instead of using apple sauce. I’m very curious to see what would happen if almond butter us used instead of coconut oil.
Hey, I made these only replacing brown sugar with stevia and followed the instructions. They turned out the right shape but soft and squishy, almost like a cake or scone. Only thing I can think of is I refrigerated for 2 hours but the dough still slumped a little bit in the tray.Any way I can fix this to make them more like cookies?
I always appreciate healthy recipes and I was looking for a recipe with these exact basic ingredients!! I made them and they turned out bland. The only change I made in the recipe, I used the whole egg instead of egg whites. Perhaps my apple could have been sweeter. It was an organic Gala, that had decent flavor. Seems like something was missing but I triple checked the recipe. Thank You for making Healthy Recipes!!
and i thought it’s another “protein cookies” recipe by it looks different))) sadly we don’t have coconut oil in our markets and butter would be very unhealthy ))) i’m usually make cockies like that but without fatty staff in it with egg whites as a sourse of moisture )))
Made this recipe yesterday, used a strawberry protein powder, a banana (instead of apple sauce) and some honey (instead of brown sugar). They came out great, not dry or anything but the banana overpowered the taste a bit. Note! If you decide to use a strawberry protein powder then chocolate chips will give it a bitter taste (of course it depends on what kind of choclate chip you ue I use 75% cocoa ones) and when their cooled down a bit they’re even better. And definitely 2 thumbs up from me:D
Good looking cookies. So I have been making protein versions of all kinds of baked goods for about a year and half now, more so on the lower carb side, but I love it! Glad to see about guy out there cooking with protein powder!
alright……… i ate these….. i dunno what to say love with these cookies. i used banana instead of Apple sauce and i can’t believe its not butter to cut calories…..freaking out of this world!!!! such a great flavor
I did this with coconut flour and minus the ground cinnamon and did not put the mix in the fridge. The cookies did not flatten and the middle was still moist, any tips? The reason I didn’t put the dough in the fridge is because the dough was already hard and did not have the same consistency as the mix In the video. The protein mix I used is isopure whey protein unflavored 100% whey.
I love how everyone on social media are so quick to point out mistakes or any miniscule detail that’s wrong love the recipe thank you so much for sharing it Kara, I’ve been looking for new fall recipes ❤

When the video said roll them into… “balls” it just reminded me of all those recipes you did a while back all about BALLZ. Good times.

but it cost more than $1.70 just for the two scoops of labrada…. his recipe cost is NEVER accurate… other than that I love all these recipes!:)
