  • I forgot to use the coupon code when I ordered your e-books last week.  Is there a way you can credit my card? If I should email you privately, please let me know. Thank You and keep up the great work!

  • Michael, could you do me a favor and tell me what kind of UA t-shirt are you wearing and also what size is it. I’m about the same height/bodytype as you so it would be helpful to know. Thanks anyway.

  • ..is bad. As you may know, Na will lead to water retention (more sodium in the cell leads to more water in cell). This, can in turn, lead to increasing the blood plasma levels (or increase the thickness of the blood), which makes it more difficult to flow through your arteries, heart, veins, etc. This, in turn, leads your heart to work more, lead to increased blood pressure, and hypertension. LIMIT your sodium intake. Try to drink more water to excrete the excess Na in your body. The primary…

  • ..Interestingly enough, most people consume 70-75% of their total salt intake from packaged foods. Cliffs: consume more water, potassium, calcium, and exercise, and you don’t have to watch your sodium as much as other folks.

  • Didn’t have any vanilla protein left, so I tried it with lemon youghurt protein (it was either that, chocolate or banana), came out delicious with just a hint of lemon! Excellent recipe!

  • Great video. Apple juice will keep me in the toilet but eventually that’ll settle. Can you add vanilla extract. Or is that a bodybuilder no no. It can be pricy but can add a flavor kick. Never hear bbuilders talking about it.

  • Thanks for this! Just made some up now and it tastes so much better than my usual method of just adding milk/water. Thinking it might be a bit sickly to have more than once a day though, but I guess you could use 50% apple juice 50% water to tone the sweetness down.

  • In your blender, add different fruit and different juice to change the flavor. Mangoes and bananas with grape juice works for me…for what it’s worth.

  • Ive been doing something similiar to this for a while I use natty pb, apple, cinnamon, 2 scoops whey, almond milk and serving of oats

  • how about you just force down that chicken breast and stop wasting time making these smoothies. Did Arnold make smoothies? Most likely not. Did Yates make smoothies? Hell to the no. Did Coleman make smoothies? Most likely not. So go out there and eat like a PRO.

  • Some caramel syrup would probably work great too. Could even go Walden Farms brand if you dont want the extra calories or find a lower cal type

  • I think adding fats such as the ones in peanut/almond butter to a post-workout meal is counter-intuitive, isn’t it? Since whey protein is meant as a fast acting protein, and consuming it with fats slows its digestion.

  • Lee, I’d read someplace where creatine is not to be taken with protein as it slows down the protein absorption. Is there any truth to this? Thanks.

  • Absolutely incredible! I think this is your best one yet. I subbed the Xantham gum with 1/4 tsp of ground flax seed & 1/2 tsp of water.

  • Tried this for the first time today absolutely delicious!!!..1 question though is it ok to have this everyday or would you recommend having this in moderation?

  • Hey Derek, Do you watch your sodium intake closely? I’ve been tracking my food and seem to struggle with keeping my sodium down. Not sure how important this is. Thanks for the awesome recipes as usual.

  • hey you should make a video on stretching and stretching techniques to get flexible. i know this is a big factor in doing compound lifts

  • ..reason as to why so many adults are dying of Cardiovascular disease, have higher rates of stroke etc is due to the high sodium content in a lot of processed foods. Good thing is, as long as you do strenuous amounts of exercise where you sweat buckets, and rehydrate yourself, you can consume more sodium in your diet; in fact, you should be consuming more than the average recommended daily allowance. basically, consume less than 1-2Tbs of “total” salt a day….

  • 35grams of carbs? you must have been on a cutting phase? i thought we do a 2carbs to 1 protein ratio for the post workout shake?

  • If I had a special blender like the one shown here designed for smoothies, I could consider this recipe. You also need to list the amount of each of the ingredients.

  • ProteinChef, how many grams of protein powder, each brand seems to have a different size scoop.
Also, people are talking about xanthum gum and I don’t see it in the recipe.

  • Usually Granny Smith for me because they’re more sour than others. I just love apples though . You should do a blueberry recipe next, I’ve been on a blueberry kick lately lol. This looks delicious by the way!

  • this looks pretty bomb. i make something similar, but i use Apple Cinnamon Chobani Greek yogurt and a packet of Quaker apple cinnamon instant oats. never thought to add caramel flavor though

  • great recipe!! my husband’s words: “michael kory is a genius”. lol! we have lost a combined 225 lbs (… and counting) and are never looking back. michael’s previous channel was one of the first we followed for nutritional and exercise tips. thanks michael for all of recipes and tips.:)

  • Your personality in this video is better than your new videos. You’re not like a game show host. Sorry man. I don’t want to come off mean.

  • man i still use some of those lbl cookie / french toast recipes from yeearrrsss ago. consistently great stuff from you my dude, thank you

  • Can I leave out the apple, the cottage cheese, the cinnamon and the sweetener, as well as the butterscotch Jell-O mix and the almond butter?

  • This almost-magical weight burning strategy melts pounds faster than any powders, pills, or potions.  Just go And Google Skinnimaker System to find out more.

  • I hope I don’t get yelled at for answering this one. Anyways, if you’re ready for some physio/biochem, read on. sodium is one of the essential electrolytes in your body (in addition to potassium and calcium). All three function as integral ions that are responsible for muscle contraction, neural stimulation, and other growth and repair mechanisms. Your body needs them. So don’t completely eliminate your Na intake. The body, does however, need to remain in homeostasis and equilibrium. Too much Na

  • Awesome recipe. I’ve started my own channel incorporating nutrition & medicine in fitness being a pharmacist. I would love your feedback/support. Any love/advice will do.
Love what you’re doing. Keep up the good work.

  • Your microwave and stove are out of sync in time.  This could cause major problems in the future.  I suggest you get on that.  😉     Thanks for the videos!

  • Yummy!!

Either Golden Delicious, granny Smith, or honey Crisp those are my favorite cause their crunch when you bite into them so good and dipped slices in almond or peanut butter is heavenly

  • I always drink strawberry whey with semi-skimmed milk and mix it with a hand-held mixer, it gets really creamy that way and tastes amazing!

  • Mmmm!! This recipe is legit I’m actually fitting it into my macros as part of my breakfast. Delicious, thanks for another great recipe.

  • Hey Lee, great video. Question: For max size should i stay in 6-12 rep range or do I have to incorporate some strength training into my routine? I’m a beginner. Tried FBW and upper/lower, hated it. Which split is optimal? How should i perform each set? Straight sets, pyramiding up, down, wave loading? Should i squeeze the muscle throughout the entire range of motion or just at the top? Controlled or explosive positive? How slow on the negative? How many exercises/total sets per body part?

  • Lee this rocks, I got loads of vanilla powder and hate the taste but with apple juice it’s lovely. Everyone should try it. Keep getting the swell on.

  • Hi Matt! Not closely, no but I keep an eye on it every now and then. Unless you have a condition that requires you to keep it down I wouldn’t worry too much about it I’m almost always over.

  • I love Pink Lady’s and Honey Crisp apples for just eating raw for a snack. I will always select a Granny Smith apple for baking. They taste wonderful in baked goods or in oatmeal.

  • Does the ninja blender cut up the cottage cheese well? I have mixed that before in my cheap blender and there were chunks. No dice.

  • This looks great. I bet it would look great baked into a larger ramekin and turned out on a plate for a guiltless dessert. If take this over pie.

  • Thanks for watching this week’s recipe video!

  • Sounds really tasty, but I’ll probably dilute the juice cause that’s about a can of coke in sugar and I wouldn’t drinking that daily, there are better carbs then sugar. Sugar acts on the liver just like alcohol in long term but without the buzz, and it has an inflammatory effect on the body.
