  • In the South (Alabama) it’s called cornbread dressing, I’ve never had Thanksgiving and it not on the table. Also make the pineapple casserole, it’s served in restaurants here. You have some good recipes, I leave off the green bean casserole and add sweet potatoe casserole. Thanks for sharing

  • I was trying the 1000 skips a day Challenge but on day 1 I hurt my ankle REALLY BAD I could barely walk on it, so I quit that challenge, and I was on on day 11 of the 2 week shred I was sooo sad that couldn’t finish it, TODAY is 12 Day of it and I decided to do this workout 3 times, and my ankle needs to chill, like, big times

  • We use stuffing and dressing interchangeably in our house. But, the proper term is stuffing if it is stuffed in the turkey and dressing if not. My favorite side dish is probably my mom’s recipe for homemade cranberry relishit’s so good.

  • My aunt ALWAYS made cream cheese whipped potatoes! I’ve been making them for 10 yrs now and they are so simple yet yummy! Just take out the cream cheese to soften a couple hours before you need them then whip them into your potatoes with butter and milk. Use as much or little as you like. I like a lot lol and the less you mix them in the better cause then you’ll get little bits in each bite! Chives are great in this too! Please reply if you try this!!

    3. Random arm workouts that I like doing 4.10 min hiit workout (2 times a day)
    5.Walk after workout for a cool down (listen to 1+ songs or until I reach my step goal.)
    6.Stretch while listening to music��

  • I have a binder of family recipes collected over the years. I call it the Holiday Recipe Bible because if these dishes are not on the table, it’s just not Thanksgiving. My great-grandmother’s crescent rolls, my husband’s grandmother’s stuffing (that’s what we call it because dressing refers to salad dressings in our minds), my aunts cheesy corn casserole, my husband’s aunt’s cranberry fluff salad, and the recipes I’ve tried on my family’s very traditional palette and obviously made the cut are all in this binder. There’s a maple whiskey smoked turkey, pumpkin cheesecake, and pecan pie. The only mainstream, American culture recipe that has made it into the binder is Libby’s pumpkin pie. I like to use the puree not the mix so I can tweak the spice combo, but overall it’s pretty much the same as the recipe on the can. As my dad would say, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. And according to a food science documentary, it’s next to impossible because Libby’s has a patent on their hybrid of pumpkin. It’s one of the very few short-cuts I use.

  • A few tips if you are starting HIIT:

    1. Make sure to warm up before you start(it’s crucially important)
    2. HIIT is too intense so doing it everyday can cause serious injuries so doing it 3 times a week is enough (during the intervals you body will recover which is again important)
    3. Time limit shouldn’t be more than 30 minutes and I hope you know why 😉
    4. Last but not the least, cool down after doing HIIT.

  • I have no idea where Chloe gets those calorie calculations from. I wear a fitness tracker and, while completing the video with almost 100% effort for the entire video, I only burned about 66 calories.

  • I can’t use honey. Can I use all maple syrup? Try adding Sherry vinegar to the brussel sprouts at the end. It came from a 12 Michelin star Chef who is a friend of mine and it is delicious! I can’t use the bacon but it’s still delicious without. I put little dots of butter all over the top.

  • I’m not sure where you are from, pretty sure it’s very southern but your recipes sound amazing. A few years ago I would have thought you were “weird” for the pineapple and cheese together but that casserole is AMAZING. And Thanksgiving is not complete without a good sweet potato casserole.   • Green bean casserole is my favorite, but in my family, we top ours with onion rings instead of the crunchy onions it’s so amazing! In fact, we are going to my sister’s for Thanksgiving, and someone else is bringing the green bean casserole, so it won’t be the same. I’m going to have to make one at home just for me!

  • I started making pineapple casserole a few years ago. Soooo good! I make it a touch different, but yours looks great also. I cook for 20+ each year, and my sides are green bean casserole (we put cheese in ours), mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, mac & cheese, dressing with pecans, vanilla spiced carrots, and of course, cranberry sauce.

  • It all looks good… never tried the pineapple casserole dish before… the green bean casserole looks good too… I personally don’t like stuff or dressing but I’m going try to make a homemade one this year for thanksgiving dinner.. cause family likes it. I’m also going to make a cornbread salad which I love. And make a special kind of macaroni and cheese…

    For my macaroni cheese… I melt white American cheese with the tomato and green chili’s and a cup of milk. Stirring constantly so nothing is burning or sticking… after the cheese is melted and it’s mixed together well… I just pour it over my cooked macaroni..
    it’s really good. You can also use the cheese for dip for chips or over cooked dishes you like.

  • I dislike mushy mac-n-cheese. It would seem that the noodles would be overcooked if they’re already al dente (which is how it should be eaten) and then another 3 hours on high in the crock pot.

  • Hi! I must say the Crock Pot Macaroni is a “must try.” It looks so cheesy and yummy-good job on that!! ���� A Thanksgiving side dish staple in my family is Southern Cornbread Dressing. My mom puts a few pieces of shredded chicken in her dressing and some pieces of chopped boiled eggs-with sage, parsley, and poultry seasoning. It is a must in my family! Also, I was told folks up North are accustomed to “stuffing” but folks here in the South are accustomed to dressing. I’ve even had a few of my Northern friends ask me, “What is dressing?” Lol! So it definitely varies depending on one’s location and upbringing. ����

  • I call it Stuffing, but I heard someone say it’s only called stuffing when you’re putting it in the Turkey, otherwise it’s called “dressing” ����‍♀️

  • The pineapple dish I’m gonna have to try!! Our traditional Thanksgiving meal is
    turkey and dressing and gravy
    Ham and raisin sauce
    Mashed potatoes
    Sweet potatoes or SP casserole and yam patties (my girls think it’s a must)
    Fresh green beans
    Fried corn
    Cranberry salad
    Cole slaw
    Potato salad
    Desserts pumpkin pie and pumpkin rolls. And we haven’t decided what else yet. I’ve got to try this carrot cake roll and see how it does.
