  • Dextrose is corn sugar manufactured from cornstarch per CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATION 21CFR184.1857; therefore, glucose (blood sugar) is not dextrose (corn sugar) and dextrose (corn sugar) is not glucose (blood sugar). They may be biochemically identical (Molecular Formula: C6H12O6)]; however, not with regard to their allergenicity; e.g., glucose (blood sugar) cannot provoke an allergic response, whereas dextrose (corn sugar manufactured from cornstarch) can prove fatal to anyone with an IgE-mediated allergy to corn. It is for this reason that IV fluids to which corn sugar (dextrose) has been added are contraindicated for administration to corn-allergic patients.

  • My dad told me if your nucles and other parts of your finger that bend are a different color than the rest of your hand it means you have a lot of sugar in your blood

  • Wonder if we could trick the brain into releasing dopamine. A healthy looking donut that looks exactly the same as a reg donut yet none of the carbs and sugars and chemicals

  • what about honey?
if i crave sweet stuff(i guess i could call it sugar adiction) i get some honey on a piece of bread with some butter in between.
or i wash it up in slightly warm water.

  • Anything more than a teaspoon a day is too much and that doesn’t even include blood sugar spikes from carbs, its everywhere! Lol but yea carbs and sugar are killing us slowly day by day

  • You can also have body itch if you have dry skin, fungal skin infection, by using strong skin soap, etc., We should not exclude CHO in our daily diet.

  • I know I have an addiction to sugar and I watch video after video on the topic yet I find myself jumping right back into eating it again. It’s demoralizing how terrible I allow it to take over my life. Sometimes it feels pretty hopeless.

  • I was a bit too worried about sugar and I am not gaining any excess weight and my intense workout sessions burn a lot of sugar. I eat pumpkin pie almost everyday along with honey in my teas and coffee and fruits and its fine

  • I eliminated all sugar and all carbs other than those found in low sugar vegetables (which are kept to a minimum as well) and I lost 180lbs and reversed my type-2 diabetes without medication as well as my high cholesterol. I also do intermittent fasting with the Keto diet. Never felt better! Eating is not boring without carbs/sugar. I don’t miss the constant hunger when I had glucose/insulin spikes from conventional diets. Literally no other diet/exercise plan worked. I tried them all. Dr. Jason Fung is the master. 2 Compartment Syndrome and Sugar Rots you from the inside are 2 videos everyone should watch by him.

  • Over the years I have practically eliminated sugar from my life. Haven’t had a soda in 50 years I’m 67. Very Rarely eat cake or cookies maybe a bit during Christmas. Never eat candy. I don’t miss it at all

  • The 12 Signs

    12. Exhaustion
    11. Frequent urination
    10. Always hungry
    9. Unquinchable thirst
    8. Dry skin
    7. Weight loss
    6. Trouble focusing
    5. Blurred vision
    4. Slow healing
    3. Irritability
    2. Migraines
    1. Acne

  • I eat like 80 or 90G sugar pre workout every time before weight lifting and I’m ripped. Been 245 pounds chubby in the past 5 years so, can’t blame body types for that. Now I’m 185 and I still take in way over 100G of sugars every day and stronger than I was at 245. Debunked.

  • What if I’m not really craving sugary foods but like chips, and other fast foods. Like I’m not entirely into sweet foods like candy, but I crave chips and fast foods out of random sometimes. Is it the same thing?

  • I don’t know if this is just me but does anyone else get pissed off when I see women eat a cookie or a hand food that would take only one hand with two hands and taking a goddamn nibble?

  • Great video. There is a lot of mention here of fructose. Does this mean that it isn’t just things that are high in sugar that should be avoided, but also foods like fruit juice and fruit in general?

  • i ate too much. at that time i felt fatigue. carbohydrate was the main calorie sourse in the PFC balance in those days. i was also lack of wide range of vitamin Bs.

That’s why large amount of carbohydrate was wasted without being used effectively. in addition, my skin condition was bad and got vulnerable to disease and headache and mentally bad!

here i realized well-balanced nutrition and moderate amount of carbohydrate we take has merits and prevents varous disorders!

  • I see a lot of people saying that they are afraid because they have either ALL or most of the signs explained in this video. You should consider that this is the lead into your diabetic stages. You should check with your physician because you might be pre-diabetic and could have already gone into becoming a diabetic. Additionally to his sugar causation, plain sugar itself is not the ONLY culprit. This means that it’s not identifying only SUGAR itself, but where sugar is hidden such as in Pastas, Bread, Fruits etc. Diabetics are recommended to avoid eating Oranges, Fruit punches etc. you should go check with your physician.

  • i have been told, that fructose is transfered to glucose in the stomac so it is not transfered into fat in the kidneys. Fruits are healty, all my lean frinds eat lots of fruit

  • ”Hedonic hunger” if this the only thing we take from this great video is enough from this great well-done video sorry not video I would call it WORK.

  • My best friend eats a shit ton of sweets every day and she has zero of those symptoms, and I mean zero so fuck right off. Meanwhile I hardly ever have sugar and I get most of these symptoms ugh

  • It’s good that this video actually tells you what to start including rather than just telling me what to cut off. Have at least over a half of these problems that can be a life changer for me once solved. I’ll keep coming back to this comment month by month to keep myself motivated and to track progress.

  • Yes but does menapause and a on coming headache make u urinate alot.A onset of a migraine headache. Can cause eye problems. My glucose is usually 98 or less. And I get migraine headaches.Thetes alot of things that cause headaches.I take calamag everyday. With a one a day vitamin.Low vitamin B 12 can cause phychological problems.

  • holy shit all of these happen to me well i did eat the whole box of 12 donuts along with 2 other cookies and banana chips and potato chips and brownies and candies and chocolates oh shit i really do need to change my diet-

  • I also agree as a Personal Trainer I would say eating sugar is bad for your health in general unless you have a medical condition like hypoglycemia you should avoid eating anything that is high in sugar unless it’s a special occasion e.g. Birthday and etc

  • Everybody laughed at me when I said sugar is the devil
(processed sugar) and the only reason why I know cuz I was a sugar addict

  • question: is there food or drink we can eat to counteract the sugars we take in (not to take in sugars but to slowly wean off sugars)?

  • For me it was 1,4,8 & 9 (getting up way too many times at night to go weewee…) I cut sugar intake and I saw results right away, except for the weight, seems my body kept it as an unwanted souvenir gift:/

  • If you want to stay away from sugar don’t shop at Walmart. Mainly High Fructose Corn Syrup. It’s in everything. Sodas are KILLERS. Slimey nasty tasting grossness. And where is the carbonation? Today’s soda is FLAT.

  • certainly, eating a lot of sweet stuff is risky.people should be realy, realy careful, & replace all those tempting goodies, with salad & fruit, yes indeed.
well, i think i shall go & have a cup of tea, with half a dozen, half coated chocolate biscuits, now!

  • Jesus Christ has totally changed my life and made it brand new. I am so healthy now and I have no sicknesses or diseases. And I’m not on any prescription medicines. I watch what I eat daily because my body is the temple of the Holy Ghost. I no longer have a weight problem. And I keep active and walk a lot, having no car, and I do not ever smoke. And yes refined sugar is bad for me, so I am about to eliminate my 3.6 ounces of ice cream, and gelato’s.

I’m elderly, and my daily diet consists of mostly, lots of water, no soda pop, no alcohol or energy drinks. I love fresh or frozen fruits and vegetables, occasional smoothies and I’ve recently began to eat more salads. I even eat some raw or steamed vegetables or put some vegetables in soups or stir frys. And Instead of adding any refined sugar, I sweeten some things with raw honey, that’s unprocessed. I’m about to start eating more healthier oatmeal several times a week. I love baked raw nuts and seeds without any added salt. I watch my salt and sodium intake, and I make my own salad dressings. I make my own orange juices, freshly squeezed lemons and limes, nothing premade from stores or processed.

I only eat kosher meats, based on the guidelines in Leviticus chapter 11, in the Holy Bible. Therefore I eat chicken, turkey, lamb, fish with fins and scales, no seafood, only grass feed beef, and definitely no swines flesh(pork)

3 John 1:2“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

  • I cut out a lot of foods that has sugar like yogurt, ice cream, JUICE, sweet tea and donuts. I feel much more grumpier cutting these out than when I was those things that made me happy..

  • Why do so many of these type of channels insist on this annoying ass music, consistantly playing throughout the entire video?!? Sorry but

  • My husband drink and eats lot of sweet tea pop, cookie chips, and all sweeted drinks. and he’s conplaining about every thing hurting

  • One cup of coffee for me with 2 sugars. That is it for me for the day. We never used to worry about sugar. I wonder what they have added to it to make it a warning?

  • I’m not fat, but I’ve been going through a vicious cycle of sugar binges for 4 months now… Sugar is evil I tell you… Evil… Oh, and if you guys are wondering what my sugar consumption has been like… Imagine couple of days a week (sometimes all the days) eating 4000-5000 Calories worth of sugar!!! Suffice to say, I will quit now!

PS. I can’t even fucking moderate… That’s just how addictive and evil sugar is!!!!

  • I know. Such statistics always speak about tendencies and avarages. Obv.
BUT! I got ONE of the signs. I am 35. And i eat a SHIT TON OF SUGAR.

  • If weight gain is reason for eating sugar….Then I start eating too much sugar … I’m too skinny dude…. What to do please make a video on it….For weight gain….

  • I used to eat so much sugar. So many bags of chips and cookies. I was craving, a lot. My father who stopped eating sugar told me to also stop eating sugar. Well, it was very hard, but I managed to not eat any junk (chips, cookies, etc.) for two months after trying. I’ve lost a few pounds too. Thank you

  • OMG!!!BIG BIG BIG thank you for this information! OMG! NOW I KNOW WHY I FELT THAT BAD! Thank you man for this information, it helpt me a lot!

  • 25g? Its almost impossible now, sugar is practically in everything! Unless you eat everything completely bland and no processed food, have fun eating only plain vegetables, fruits, plain meat and nuts/legumes….maybe some people are ok living a bland life but i’d rather eat a little extra sugar and enjoy myself….

  • I’ve had less then a teaspoon of it in a year, im better in so many ways and at 73 years old better is great. Maybe if i used moderation when i was younger i wouldn’t need to be so cautious today.

  • I’ve never been a fan of sweets…. I prefer meat and vegetables. I don’t eat any fat especially pork! Cause it makes me feel sick, same goes to sugar but much worse. So I always drink tea and a lot of water after a table spoon or two of sugar

  • We see all these videos about how “sugar is bad for you” and “you should cut out sugar” because it’s detrimental to your health. They tell you it’s addictive, etc yet you don’t ever see videos by these same people telling you HOW to go about reducing these sugars “without suddenly crashing” and, of course, dealing with what comes with all addictions….the withdrawals that your body will go through from the sugar you’ve been pumping into it.

  • I’ve tryed to give up sugar latley and its been way harder than i thought. I eat dark chocolate once or twice a week and get a small sugar high. I feel relaxed and good for an hour or so. I have cut out all sugar feom my diet, including all the hidden sugars and high fructose corn syrup in all most everything. Sugar kills more people than all the other drugs combined. Lol. Sad but true.

  • He said six tea spoon and nine tea spoon of sugar
My mind: sixty spoon and ninety spoon of sugar.XD..(not really watch the video at that time)

  • I saw the main picture to this clip and saw a man with yellow eyes and thought if I eat sugar I’ll look like a Sith Master lol ( a joke )

  • Big, fat stupid question: is fruit sugar okay? Every time I try to give up junk food, I end up eating more fruit oranges, grapes, etc. because I still crave sugar so much.

  • I suffer from Type 2 Diabetes, however, I lean more toward the HypOglycemic levels than Hyperglycemic. All these symptoms; except weight loss, acne and dry mouth occur when I’m having a Hypoglycemic episode as well.

  • I havn’t been sick a single day since i quit consuming high GI carbs on a regular basis, thats 2 ½ years ago. Lost 140 pounds in the process aswell.

  • I thought fructose was the sugar in fruit? Does this mean swapping things like chocolate to fruit is worse than just eating chocolate?

  • It feels like this video appears on my recommendation read my mind since i been thinking about to stop my sugar especially chocolate addict lol

  • The less you eat sugar the less you want it.

I now stopped craving for chips, chocolate and ice cream.
My taste receptors became more sensitive indeed and i take more pleasure from consuming food in common.
It took me a week or so to stop wanting sugar. xDD

I currently eat a little piece of cake or a donut each 4-5 days. There’s nothing bad with it if you are in need of a fast energy supply or mood fixer, just don’t be carried away. In my case however sugar products are not that addictive anymore.

Oh and yes. My acne greatly reduced.

    Thanks.

  • Surgar doesn’t actually cause diabetes. And honestly I eat a whole bag a surgar by myself with In 2 weeks and I don’t crave any sweets besides my coffee and I barley even crave that which I love my coffee but honestly I hate eating chocolate or candys and I don’t get pimples if I do it’s super rare and my feet are completely fine. And peoe say one day I’ll probably just die from eating so much. It also causes your heart rate to speed up. And it’s 10× worse then coke so if surgar will actually do any harm yeah your teeth will rot which mine are also in really good shape or your heart will probably stop one day. I get some heart pains which is probably caused by surgar some what

  • I gave up all sugar except for fruit for 10 years in my 40s. I lost 100 lbs. and kept it off!
I was never deprived of food. I baked by using fruit and fruit purees…made muffins, cakes, cookies, pancakes!
Felt like a million and was so active.

  • eating too much sugar will lead to insulin resistance which then leads to type 2 diabetes. That will cause increasing in plaque in your brain and heart. Some call it type 3 diabetes.

  • That is one thing I do use for energy. I eat one meal a day but I do drink a lot of coke I don’t drink water but I’m a coke and energy drinker. I’m thin and sugar don’t get me to gain weight but I’m under weight. But I don’t like food and I can go three or four days without eating so I use sugar for energy. I don’t do nothing healthy my main diet is nicotine, caffeine and sugar and I’m still here and I’m not dead yet. But I don’t take life seriously I just live day by day. I’m just tired of seeing what’s going on in this country and around the world and the Spirit world got to be better than this world.

  • Wait you shouldn’t eat a lot of sugar because it causes high glucose levels in the blood,
    BUT
You could be anxious and depressed because of the low levels of glucose in the blood??

    Correct?

  • I quit eating sugar 2 yrs ago and I dropped 55 lbs, quit having cravings, sleep better, am more cheerful, and no longer have “restless leg syndrome”. I have way more energy, too.
