  • I love watching the video. guga is the best! Question though how long do you sear on each side? and why olive oil vs grape seed oil (which you’ve used in the past)?

  • Wondering if any of you tried these recipes. Imho, a lot of these recipes dont come out as good as it looks in the video. Curious what did work and what did not.

  • Whoever made this video cooks like a 4 year old. Average meats… REALLY BAD FLAVOR MIXES… and innovative layering… I wouldn’t eat this stuff if you put a gun to my head…. Frat Boy food at its finest. I am astounded at the people who think this is good food. Sauces, bacon and cheese erase or cover a lot of the mistakes here. Why expend all this effort if your’re going to eat bottled sauce, bacon and melted cheese? Just eat the cheese and bacon and drink the sauce. Try this instead of this incredibly sorry video… get a cookbook or cooking magazine… pick something you think you might like… hint.. start with chicken, it is very forgiving…. follow the timing, amounts and directions exactly… learn to read a thermometer take it out of the oven or off the heat 5 degrees before it is done and let it sit for 10 minutes….. eat…. your food is already better by a magnitude than this. This video is the adult equivalent of playing with food…. if that’s your gig, great, but, don’t confuse this with cooking. Does fresh sweet corn need cheese, bacon and teriyaki? I am no fan of vegetables but, if you need to dress up fresh sweet corn to eat it, you are in a very sorry place.

  • Just bought my first picanha from the butcher. It is in the fridge now getting that dry brine lol Yo guga you are the man butcher says to me “Picanha is truly the queen of all steaks” and then recommends your YouTube page lol keep doing your thang!

  • I want mine medium. What temp should I take it to before searing? After seeing your videos I tried this. I’ve cooked it twice. It’s been a hit with the family and I’ve been telling everyone about it. Thanks for all of the mouth watering videos you put out. Really makes people wanna cook and cook well.

  • This man took not knowing how to cook and sandwiches to the next level. I can see the allure for non cooks. Nothing here is best bbq though. Very unique though. More like best stoner bbq.

  • What does the inner temp climb to after the Sean? I slow cooked a Tomahawk to 120° then seared 4 minutes each side total and crosshatch the grill patterns, I checked the temp and it bumped up to 150° eeeek to high was closer to medium, I think I’ll sear starting earlier then 120, maybe like 105 or sear from 120 to 2 minutes each side instead of 4

  • all of this isnt even cooking, it’s just unnecessarily mashing food together. notice how theres no real cooking method or real seasonings just use 3 basic seasons and mash stuff together with bacon meat cheese and sauce

  • I actually like using dog in some of these recipes. Here in China, the meat is readily available. Having been born and raised in Britian for 25 years, eating dog is something that had never even crossed my mind before, but it’s amazing what other cultures can introduce you too.

  • If all else fails place whatever you cant cook on bacon. Next step add 1/2lb cheese garlic and one cup of lard. Attempt to wrap the ends of the bacon over the cheese, if this fails like it does for me just add more bacon or go for pork belly if you dont mind a bit of extra oil:) Grill for an hour or whatever, it doesn’t matter, you only live once! Enjoy increasing our health care costs!

  • 1. NONE of these are bbq, it’s all grilled.
    2. Bacon wrapped grilled corn on the cob is the single most ‘Murican thing I have seen this week.
    Salute!

  • This is grilling not BBQing. But nonetheless some great outdoor cooking ideas. I´m going to try most of them. BTW… I wasn´t trying to be critical with the grilling comment. Just pointing it out:D

  • Pink doesn’t necessarily mean it’s not done with pork ribs. You can cook pork ribs to 220 if you want and you’ll still have a pink banned if they’re smoked and/or cooked for a long time in the sauce.

  • Have you ever tried cooking the Picanha as a whole roast, rather than cutting it into steaks first? Kind of like a Prime Rib vs. a Ribeye steak? Also, traditionally steak is cooked faster on a grill. Does it make a big difference? The steaks aren’t very thick, it is surprising to me that you decide to cook it a bit slower. Thanks!

  • Save all those “hitchikers” for meat loaf. A burger should be just beef salt and pepper. I will try the mayonnaise trick once to see what happens.

  • Hahaha so me! I’m like na I’m okay I don’t need any help I got this! When really I do sometimes but I can’t have anything come out wrong!

  • This is glorious, I been tryin to find out about “how to start a bbq gas grill” for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of Ariafan Barbecue Babassu (do a search on google )? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my co-worker got cool results with it.

  • It’s spring. I’m having a barbecue.

Britain must be under a spell or something. No way would I be having a barbecue in spring if not.

  • The hacks, recipes, editing, grading, almost everything on this channel are absolutely amazing, the presenters and their lame jokes/attempts to be funny feel like torture.

  • I know is has been asked before but I see there is no answer given yet… When you dry brine, do you cover it with plastic or just leave is open?

  • Hey Sorted, Just wanted to say thanks for you guys have inspired me to pursue something that I’ve always enjoyed throughout life but never made that step to do it as a career, But recently got a job as an apprentice chef in a really nice restaurant in the city in live near and it has been the best decision I have ever made:)

    Thanks:D

  • Guga, when are you going to get yourself an egg type grill? I got the weber 22 and an Akorn, and the Akorn get so much hotter. I think it would step up your sear game. Also, I’ve recently been just throwing my steaks onto the hardwood coals themselves. Gets is super seared. Highly recommend to try that. Fucking amazing!

  • I’ve known about the sirloin cap for years, but it’s only lately that it is removed from the sirloin butt. Now it’s priced out of my reach.

  • Any recipe that includes bacon & cheese will always be good enough for me! All of that looked delicious & easy to make. Thanks for sharing.

  • It was pretty good until you got to the nest load and hot dogs bleck!!! Then more meat loaf cooked up with toxic aluminum! Perfect! Not!

  • 0:30 I’m sorry, what now? mayo? I swear Ben, if you’re messing with me……
    30 minutes later
    …. well….. never thought I’d get a boner with each bite…..

  • Thank you, after my first try ( i grilled it like a steak) i wasn’t to sure about picanha. Then i informed myself here. Man, its a great piece of meat when made low&slow and reverse sear it.

  • Have you ever tried cooking the Picanha as a whole roast, rather than cutting it into steaks first? Kind of like a Prime Rib vs. a Ribeye steak? • I like how they always leave out the parts where there is a lot of grease. Bacon and ground beef leave a lot of grease when cooked in a skillet.

  • These are the best real time recipes and instruction I’ve ever seen! And watch all the cooking shows. Especially loved the one pies!

  • Steak is eaten here in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Arizona, and in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay. In the other states, they live on damn pizza and donuts.

  • The big dude is like the guy in a game that is super toxic and complains about everything, but actually does work and carries your team

  • lol pink on the outer rim and no pink closest to the bone does not mean raw or uncooked its actualy because it was bbqd havent yall seen smoked meat the red pink rim mean it was cooked right actually

  • I’ve only cooked ribs twice in my life… and the only one who could compete here was Marques… like tf?

Might just be me being Texan. We’re so frigging critical about what goes into a bbq, and how to cook bbq that even getting a passing grade here is often times a 9/10 or 10/10 in other places.:P

Now tell us how to make a salad, we’re fucked xD

  • I like how they always leave out the parts where there is a lot of grease. Bacon and ground beef leave a lot of grease when cooked in a skillet.

  • So. I’m eatin meatball sub and watching a food video, because I have a problem. BBQ recipes. Well. Most are just slightly clever meat sculpture. Then.. the nerve of this ish. So they get 12 oz of beef thats 3/4s a pound right and make a ball, then smash a can of beer on it, making a bowl like thing. Wrap the outside of it like bacon. Fill the bowl with cream cheese. Step 2, cut onion rings, wrap each individual onion ring with 1-2 strips of bacon. Grill. Serve this monstrous meat golem on a bun, because why not. rewind No! 17!! 17 oz of beef on a bun! Why 17? Only Zeus knows, certainly not your cardiologist!

  • Dear, I’m italian…
Everything looks preety cool and I will follow this method as weather allows a good bbq outside.
Just one matter regarding the fire that goes directly onto the meat. I knew it’s “forbidden” asnit burns and doesn’t cook. In Italy we use to turn off any flame that appears, with some water sprayed on…

  • I thought great new ideas for BBQ! Then the pork products roll out. Pork and I are not friends. Allergies are a real bummer! Great video as always, tho’!

  • all of this isnt even cooking, it’s just unnecessarily mashing food together. notice how theres no real cooking method or real seasonings just use 3 basic seasons and mash stuff together with bacon meat cheese and sauce

  • Some of these commenters are real idiots. I mean why do people think that the word “black” means that something is racist.

I mean do y’all idiots not understand that if “Black dad’s” wasn’t in the title. Then y’all would be questioning why tf all the people in the video are black
