But because protein is so satiating, you can eat less and still feel satisfied.. Breakfast does tend to be the hardest for people to get protein in because we tend to go for really carb heavy meals. Abbey begins with showing a typical pancakes with white flour, sugar, eggs, milk and some maple syrup.. Instead of your typical pancake batter, I’ve made pancakes with oats, low fat cottage cheese, egg whites and I’ve even added in some blueberries. And instead of the refined sugar in the maple syrup, Abbey boiled down some frozen raspberries into a high fibre sauce. Abbey shows how she trimmed 100 calories, boosted the fibre to ¼ of your fibre needs from 1 g to 6 and went from 7 grams to 27 grams of fibre.. Next, Abbey shows lunch options. A typical tuna salad sandwich has 2 slices of regular low fibre, low protein white bread, 2 oz of oil packed tuna, and a tablespoon of mayo. Instead, Abbey swapped the sad white bread with a slice of eizekiel flax breadhigher in protein and fibre and so hearty you only need one slice so we’re going open face. Instead of oil packed tuna, we’re using water packed which is lower in calories and fat so we can boost the portion to 3 oz right there. And then instead of that high fat mayo, Abbey used a tablespoon of fat free greek yogurt for that same creamy tangy flavour. So she almost cut calories in half here, trimmed the fat to virtually nothing from 17 grams, and we hit that sweet spot between 25-30 grams of protein.. Now its dinner time, and everyone loves Chinese chicken fried rice. We’re starting with ¾ cup of white rice which is low in fibre and protein and we’ve fried half a whole egg with sesame oil and 2 oz of chicken thigh meatwhich we know is higher in fat and calories then the breast. Instead of rice Abbey used whole grain quinoa which is higher in protein and fibre so it will keep you satisfied on a smaller portion½ cup instead of ¾ cup. This means we can boost up the protein, so I’m using 2 oz of chicken breast here, and scrambling egg whites instead of whole eggs which are all protein. I added in a little edamame which is great source of vegetarian protein as well. And we had cut so many calories and fat by using less oil to fry that I thought lets boost the portion here and add some more broccoli, red pepper, peas and carrots.. Now we’re 100 calories lighter, half the fat, tripled that fibre and we hit that 30 gram protein on the head. I made these today and they are sooooo gooooood! Thank you for the recipe! I used a different sweetener and sweetened to taste.. ended up with 9 balls each with 4 gm of net carbs! I also added coconut oil as I thought they were a little dry☺️ and a little advice to every beginner: get a food scale! Honestly a life changer! All the recipes I have made before turned much much better after weighing the ingredients
If I don’t want to use fake sugar (so not use any sweetner), should I put more coconut flour, more almond flour or half and half to compensate? Also thinking about adding some vanilla (instead of sugar).. will see!

i just made this recipe, but i used the PB2 peanut butter powder instead, put only 1/3 of fake sugar, and rolled out 12 truffles. so i believed i cut down the calories quite a lot.
Lol! I was just eating some organic peanut butter out of the jar(Aldi has the best,the only ingredients are peanuts and salt), and then I thought well I’ll just run an extra 4 miles it’s worth it,and an extra 100 lunges and squats it was an AWESOME EXPERIENCE……..PEANUT BUTTER BITES COME HERE TO ME! YUM YUM YUMMY

Omg I used to eat the Smuckers Natural Crunchy Peanut Butter on Granny Smith apples slices.. it reminded me of caramel apples with peanuts!! But until they come out with a low carb apple I’ll just make these. Haha

This is not a big deal. Even raw Vegans get more than enough of EVERY vitamin & mineral. Save B12. Provided they eat a variable diet of lettuces, salad greens like rocket, spinach, watercress, chard ECT. Add a few soaked nuts or seeds to your daily diet, then bingo. Eating as much fresh, ripe, raw greens, vegetables, fruit, will do it all. B12 is supplemented.

Don’t you think the egg is over cooked? May be you should have turned over the omelette switched off the gas and the residual heat would have cooked the rest of the omelette and then folded in the veg? I made this using cookie dough flavored protein powder (lol) and used almond flour and peanut butter as substitutes. Really good! Would recommend.

I made these today and they are sooooo gooooood! Thank you for the recipe! I used a different sweetener and sweetened to taste.. ended up with 9 balls each with 4 gm of net carbs! I also added coconut oil as I thought they were a little dry☺️ and a little advice to every beginner: get a food scale! Honestly a life changer! All the recipes I have made before turned much much better after weighing the ingredients

hi joe, im watching keto bombs and its really inspiring because its so easy to make but just want to know if i can used coconut powder and almond powder instead of almond and coconut flour?
i just made this recipe, but i used the PB2 peanut butter powder instead, put only 1/3 of fake sugar, and rolled out 12 truffles. so i believed i cut down the calories quite a lot.

I was just eating some organic peanut butter out of the jar(Aldi has the best,the only ingredients are peanuts and salt), and then I thought well I’ll just run an extra 4 miles it’s worth it,and an extra 100 lunges and squats it was an AWESOME EXPERIENCE……..PEANUT BUTTER BITES COME HERE TO ME!
