  • Once I saw the chicken wasn’t seasoned at least 24 hrs in advance I thought I lost it. Then cooked for 15 mins. Good bye. Thank you for the ideas. I’ll have to put some spin on it

  • MARINADE!!!! Please Marinade your meat longer than 30mins. I prefer to marinade at least a day to make sure my chicken is flavorful.

  • Can you do a super high protein meal, but low in carbs and fat? since bodybuilders need a lot of protein when they’re trying to cut weight, I’m not really a cook so I usually end up making bland chicken and boiled veges:(

  • if you allow I would like to recommend an excellent book that I purchased on amazon, MEAL PREP COOKBOOK https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZC635KS

  • THERE IS SALTLESS SEASONING. If that’s a issue for you the sodium use salt less seasoning or at least a lot more sea salt but that little pepper on the large chicken In ONE spot sis..no…the least you could’ve done was spread it evenly..but thanks for the video. thought that counts

  • I wish you would leave the quantities up on the screen longer instead of flashing them. Had to keep rewinding and pausing to get them down and it’s annoying

  • Thank you so much for making these videos, sharing your journey, and being so intentional to encourage your viewers over and over again to focus on spiritual health over an obsession with food and body image. I’ve been struggling with disordered eating my entire life. My mom always struggled with her weight and my dad would shame her for it so, the lie that my worth was a derived from my weight and appearance was planted down deep in me when was i was just a little girl. I’m 27 now and am still fighting to find freedom. But God has been so faithful to show me my worth and purpose outside of all that. And your videos have always felt like reminders directly from God to me that freedom is possible, that I’m not alone and to keep seeking. I’ve been a silent subscriber of yours for so long but wanted to make sure i told you today that the impact you’re making in my life and so many others is ETERNAL and SO BEAUTIFUL!!! It’s strange to feel so connected to a stranger but you have truly blessed my life. If i don’t ever meet you on this side of heaven, i hope to on the other! Praying for you and your hubby as you walk faithfully in obedience to Gods call on your lives. Love you, sister. Thank you❤️

  • I know the Bible is imperative in helping transform the mind to a free mindset…Any other book recommendations that helped you shift your mindset? Love love love your videos!

  • Is this really one cup of quinoa? It looks like so much more! I have never cooked quinoa before and I am converting cups to grams is 170g right?

  • May I say you inspire me to make better videos like your on my channel where I vlog (not this channel)(GothicDragonfly). This was an amazing video thank you so much for so many ideas!!

  • I love these recipes!! Definitely going to try these out. Also I loved what you said about the freedom/discipline. It’s like once you take away the restrictions, you know that you are free to have that donut or muffin if you want it. So you aren’t dreaming about it 24/7, and you actually feel better making a healthier choice because you want to not because you have to! ❤ Love the videos Cambria!

  • Hi Bobby, Im a Singaporean Chinese, and chineses eat a lot of rice, you know that right? haha, I am recently into five grains rice or multi-rice. Could you do a video of corporating these kind of nutritious rice into meal preps?

  • God, I hate people in the comments that are like “mEaT iSn’T hEaLtY”. Like I’m sorry but one of the reasons why we are here today is because we cooked and ate that unhealthy meat you are talking about. If you want to be vegan or vegetarian, that’s fine, I am one myself, but don’t invalidate years of evolution and researches just because they hurt your feelings.

Edit: wanted to add that yes, it is known that eating too much meat is dangerous for health. But guess what? It can go the same way for fruit and vegetables: I dare you to eat too much bananas and not die for potassium overdose.

  • I would argue anything that comes in a shelf-stable version (i.e. dried oregano/herbs VS fresh oregano/herbs) then it doesn’t count as an ingredient as dried herbs in general should be seen as pantry staples. You are absolutely right to call oregano a Greek person’s best friend. So with this being said I would argue that this is a 5 ingredient recipe. However, if you want to throw in a 6th ingredient throw some pealed and quartered potatoes in with the chicken. The juices from the chicken and the remaining oil will get sucked up by the potatoes.

  • Recent subscriber to your videos, these are awesome! Your meal prep recipes/videos are the only ones that have actually convinced me to do it.

  • Looks super yummy my question is is it possible to use boneless skinless chicken breast and get a decent result as far as flavor? I know thighs and legs have more flavor but I don’t eat dark meat LOL I really want to try this recipe so if maybe you can give me some suggestions that might help it taste a little better with the skinless chicken breast I’d appreciate it

  • Oregano is NOT an ingredient!!! it’s basically the same as salt… I use it almost as often as you zest lemons… well not that much…

  • Ideas for videos:

Flavorful Bodybuilding meals ( I am getting bored of plan old rice, broccoli, and chicken breast:D
    Maybe some pasta dishes?

Also a tip for an arabic salad, which my mom makes:
    Tomatoes finely diced
    Iceberg Lettuce finely diced
    Onion very finely chopped
1/4 cups of cuscous soaked in water for 5 minutes
    Olive oil
    Lemon juice

  • Could you post a video on how to use the Breville espresso machine? I just recently bought it and I can never get my espresso shots to taste the same.

  • You have been such an amazing influence in my life. I started watching your videos in middle school because I face certain things similar to you and your life. You brought me closer to God and inspired me to build my relationship with Him! You encourage me to live healthier in all aspects of life! Although I have never met you I feel like we are sisters or best friends in some odd way and I completely look up to you. I feel so blessed because I have someone like you to help guide me in many ways. Thank you so much Cambria, you don’t understand how much of an impact you’ve made in my life. May God lovingly bless you.

  • Great Breakfast recipes,, even for an intermittent faster, even though I don’t break fast until late afternoon,, I love breakfast food.

  • I don’t have oregano right now, but I don’t think it is in ‘ingredient’ because it’s something that you won’t have to re-purchase everytime you make the recipe.

  • This looks amazing! It is definitely a must try! I don’t think I consider oregano, garlic, or lemon as ingredients… I ALWAYS have those on hand! Thanks for another inspiring meal idea!

  • I’m new to your channel, and I already think we will be very good cyber friends I want to meal prep and can’t wait to try your recipes!

  • wow i literally just put my lemony garlic chicken in the oven…..I guess great minds think alike. And now i have a side dish to serve although i will probably use kale because thats all i have! Thanks for always giving me great healthy ideas to feed my family!

  • This looks so good! I would love if you could add the title of the recipe on the title of the video. It makes it easier for your subscriber to go back and look for those they love:)

  • This is so good! You always put ideas into words so well. I definitely needed to hear this this week leading up to the new year wanting to get back on track working out and eating healthy not cause I have to but because I’m free too and I love to. I love how God uses us to bless people we’ve never even met, you definitely do that for so many. He’s given you an awesome platform and I’m really happy he did.

  • As I said before, anything that gets put into or onto food and winds up in your belly is an ingredient. that includes the salt and pepper, too.

  • You remember those old video piracy commercials? “You wouldn’t download a pizza?” I mean, I would, but I’d also download this, too. YUM.

  • great stuff, i love seeing your new videos pop up:) could you please make a unique recipe that’s high in protein (like 60+ grams) with relatively low carbs and fats

  • when are you weekly emails coming back?? I absolutely LOVED them, that were always the highlight of my week!! I couldn’t remember if you said you weren’t doing them anymore because I don’t receive anymore in my inbox

  • Love your cooking Bobby I even lose weight..by following your recipes.. Then I stop and gain weight again..now I’m back.. Thank you for all your recipes you are awesome..

  • My biggest struggle is that I have a college meal plan! I’m an RA, and my compensation is room and board, so while I can still buy groceries and cook for myself, I feel bad to be spending money when my meal plan is “free.”

I’ve noticed that a lot of bread/refined grains cause issues for me long-term, and almost everything on campus is fried or served on bread, etc.

I also use this as an excuse to be eating foods that don’t make me feel good. I know there are still a few options on campus, but I need to be more strategic in how I go about getting my meals!

  • Oh man I’m SO late on this one! Last Monday I had this avocado sandwich you showed 5 or 6 years ago and thought ‘Man, I wished Cambria shared new recipes’… I should have looked at Youtube XD; I will definitely give a try to these recipes. I tried chia puddings a couple weeks ago and it is on point girl ;). I really should try the first one… I’m tired of industrial granola with added sugar unless you go for the most expensive ones (at least where I live)… I’ve definitely made an idol of my food as well.. ‘You need to stop anti-depressant and lose weight’ was what I heard at my (former) rheumatologist. I tracked down everything I ate, even while eating at a family member or whatever. I lost 22% of my initial weight while on medication of which the main side effect was preventing weight loss. I kept bashing myself over an occasional treat. I barely made it to 1000 calories a day for nine months and, being a chronic illness fighter, I don’t exactly know how I survived. I followed you way back in 2013 before I ever became a follower of Jesus. To me, the worst thing to know is that you talked about the food issue back then. It’s just like if Jesus said ‘Hey, watch out because you could go through similar trials and I do what I can so that you don’t go through this.’ I love how you minister to people. You definitely planted the seed into my heart, even if it did not sprout until November 2018. For future videos.. I would love if you talked about how you manage your time/day, maybe a Bible study, share your tips for our God moment? Be blessed! Emma

  • I love everything about this video. I made a the oatmeal and chia pidding. The coconut oatmeal is DELICIOUS. And I really appreciate all that you said about food and identity. Love you Cambria, keep doing what do you!

  • I’m drooling here, this looks SO GOOD! I’m definitely making this with my mom, when I go back to Bulgaria!:D I bet it’s gonna be become a fave recipe!

  • Thank you Cambria for sharing this video I do like creating meals, I guess I just have to focus more in the kitchen ‍ I have seen your videos for a while but never really comment Any I’m running out the door because my sister and I are heading to CA. I will finish watching your video during the day bye for now

  • Okay, I have a 1 burner induction oven and a 2 burner gas stove. I’m just not sure if the convention oven brown. I do have a George Forman grill. Will it work to brown the chicken?

  • thanks so much for the reminders, the bible verse. I never want to be in that bondage again. I love sweets, could you help out with a video of some sweet treats that also have some more “healthy” ingredients.

  • that chopper is awesome, I must have!! I need to try the butternut squash faux oatmeal..I have done that with acorn squash before and love it….GREAT VIDEO, PERFECT TIMING!!

  • Could you share scripture that has helped/been helping you with freedom of food? Also, could you do a video about prayer/different tips/etc that has helped you walk in freedom in this area? Or different ways you’ve changed your view, different ways it has changed your overall life? A video that shares how you realized your gluten intolerance and etc? Basically a whole video on how you got to be where you are today in your eating and physical health

  • Glad you got something I can finally eat again, my friend. All your other recipes lately have been weight loss, and God knows that I do NOT need to lose any type of weight. Finalyy a new recipe to try.

  • Hi Cambria! I loved your video-I always enjoy watching! SO ready to try the chia seed pudding and maybe the granola! THANK YOU for sharing all your tips and ideas with us!:)

  • Amazing video for the New Year. You really hit it for me. Thanks so much for sharing you’ve been a huge inspiration over the years.

  • Merry Christmas to You and Your Family, Cambria and a Blessed and Happy New Year. Well said on ” detachment “. Best Wishes and Warmest Regards.

  • I thoroughly enjoyed this! I love how you speak truth and what the Bible says. This was so helpful and spoke volumes to me personally.

  • Definitely gonna try the sweet potato +greens+ poche eggs and the chia seed pudding that I always think about doing but im little afraid about the taste great video Cam!!

  • Thank you for sharing this! I’m trying to collect together a bunch of recipes for next year. I have hashimoto thyroiditis and next year my goal is to take better care of myself, cut gluten and dairy, etc. but it’s been super hard. I’m constantly craving unhealthy food, binging on it, then feeling sick after. I never thought I’d ever struggle this much with this. It was never a problem before, but since being diagnosed with Hashimoto and knowing I “can’t” eat these foods, suddenly it’s like it’s an obsession that I have to.
I’d love to see you post a video again on what you do to take care of your health! Especially your thyroid!

  • I struggle with meal prep because, I’m gonna be honest, I get lazy about it. I get lazy about making food. Then I just eat the easiest thing to make.. Which isn’t good for me lol. But i really should just take a day and meal prep. I loved the video! Thank you for the advice and the recipes! Love you!!

  • Hey Bobby! My husband and I love your meal preps! One quick concern: there is a discrepancy on the measurements on the downloadable recipe and the video. We have noticed it on a few other videos. I just wanted to run that by you for the future. We will stay tuned! Thanks!

  • When that guilt and shame comes, how do you cope?
AlsoBible studies you’re loving? How to create a disciple with your time with the Lord?

  • This is some version of southern asia food call “Beryani”.
Too much tumaric and curry is not recommend cause it will make your body smelly!

  • Making this Monday night for meal prep for the week, your meals have helped I am down to 267lb started at 290lbs, I work out 5 times a week now 30 min cardio then weight training all because of the encouragement you give thanks Bobby Fan for life.

  • Ohhh kkkk, a white guy who’s actually making rice meals and meal prepping?? Whooooo!!! Sign me uppp‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️ I swear I’m in love with you after I saw the roasted peanuts. It’s like you read my SOUL. Curried chicken, white rice, turmeric, roasted peanuts, spinach, vinaigrette dressing, RED onions…these are my STAPLES, so no big complicated shopping list,….now I’vd gone right past salivating and straight to swooning

  • Beyondddddd excited about this video, Cambria! I hope you’re feeling much better. I needed some new breakfast ideas so I’m SO pumped about this! I can’t wait to try these out. Also, all your IG stories I am READY to change my life in 2020. I’ve felt so un-motivated, bloated, I’ve been binge eating and not caring about my health, I’m so ready to be better and take care of my body better. You’re seriously so encouraging and so helpful I’m just so thankful for you! I love you girl and hope you had a great Christmas! Let’s for sure make 2020 our year!

  • Great video with sound advice. Thank you for beeing a constant inspiration. Happy new year to all three of you and I hope you had a great christmas.:)

  • This is really nice if you want to eat the same meal for an entire week. I can only eat the same meal for two days, after that, I am finished. However, thanks for posting.

  • Loved this video I’m still eagerly waiting for your workout videos to be back!!! I don’t know why but they inspire me so much to work out, much more than I did before I found your channel. Keep up the good work! ☺️

  • Amazing video, I’ll definitely try out the pumpkin ‘’oatmeal’’! Question: are you paleo? Cause I noticed you don’t eat much carbs from grains

  • I really liked the last one (roasted sweet potatoes, side salad and egg), because it’s simple and can also be used for lunch or dinner.
I have to leave for work kind of early, so eating a “full” breakfast is hard. For those in the same situation, try drinking a smoothie or something before leaving and having a healthy snack when you get to work. It’s not ideal, but no situation is.
P.S: love the printable idea, not having to go through the video to find the recipe you want is very useful!

  • 6 years later and you are still teaching me things. You don’t it, but, you’ve been with me through the worst moments of my life and you’ve help me through them.
Thank you Cambria Joy, for being honest, for being raw, for being you. Thank you (L)

  • that’s really good, but I heard that if you heated olive oil it becomes unhealthy, is it right?
and I like if you do T1D prepared meals coz I am type one diabetic and I am in mess with preparing the right food for me
I enjoy your videos, keep going

  • The two who disliked this video, you need a hug! How can you not love Cambria! I love all her videos! ❤️ Can’t wait you see more content

  • Coconut does not have healthy fats. That’s an interesting recipe but it’s LOADED with saturated fat. I liked the rest of the recipes though, thanks!

Edit: OMG I looked it up and that little lot of coconut oatmeal has over 100 grams of fat!!! And then you added more coconut and peanut butter, even more fat. That’s way too much, not to mention that’s it’s mostly saturated fat. Wow, I really hope people don’t make that.

  • Hey Cambria! Could you and Bo make a video on Christian dating/engagement? How did you maintain purity/wait until marriage (what are some practical steps)? How did you navigate a dating relationship when everyone and society tells you that it would be easier to just give in? It’s really difficult to navigate when there isn’t anyone else to talk to who understands.

  • Cambria, thank you for sharing what God has taught you! He has used you in my life to help me to start to live a healthy lifestyle! You are such a light in the health and fitness industry!!♥️

  • Ummm both going crazy with 5 kids & a husband to feed without trying to eat fatty snacks ALLLLL the time while trying to eat some comfort foods and while trying not to blow up in weight with little to do here at home

  • I would say any spice isn’t considered an ingredient because you always have it on standby. This included the crushed red pepper. If you want to count those things then why not say salt and pepper are as well. a spice is a spice.

    keep up the great videos!

  • Solid state NMR shows that marinade does not go more than a few mm into the meat. So if you cut shit very thin and hit both sides then you’re okay.

  • Every time I reach for my Kingslayer Fork I can’t help but chuckle. Incredible recipe. The curry spice rub is delicious and deceptively simple, the rice is frankly phenomenal, and the vinaigrette is delightful. I had friends come over for dinner and used some of my meal prep and they raved about everything, especially the yogurt sauce.

Appreciate your knowledge, breadth of complicated ingredients, and all the jokes! FlavCity FTW

  • These are such great recipes! I am always in a breakfast slump. I get sick of eating the same stuff all the time and I love fresh ingredients that are filling and don’t trigger hunger soon after I eat them! Thanks!

  • I can’t wait to try these recipes. I’ve never thought to freeze chia pudding . Your recipes are always so different and just wholesome. I am going to strive to eat more whole food meals in 2020…has always been a want but I keep “failing”. Your videos help in so many ways from healthier eating / living to getting cleaned / organized in my house I just always wish there were more videos

  • Cringing at the way he talks trying to mix too many accents and slang terminology together. But love the great tips in the video. We all want to enjoy our food while we eat clean.

  • I am in love with your videos making me hungry with all delicious food I love your meal prep recipes love your dad and stories always brighten up my day love your videos making me hungry Thanks Ramya

  • I noticed that you don’t wash or soak your rice, but just give it a rinse. It’s very important to thoroughly (several times until the water is clear), soak (overnight), rinse again, and cook in a large pot of boiling water never the total absorption method to get rid of as much of the highly carcinogenic arsenic as possible. Rice is a grass that grows in stagnant water and absorbs a lot of toxins, such as arsenic. Longitudinal studies have recommend only using this method and to limit your consumption of rice as much as possible. Of course, trade agreements worth billions of dollars per year mean that health warnings not need to be given by manufacturers, despite scientists lobbying for this. Regarding citrus fruits (e.g. oranges and limes), I noticed that yours are shiny, meaning they’re probably not organic and therefore are coated in wax. This wax (used as both a pesticide and to preserve citrus fruit) is highly toxic and should not be eaten. Some people wash waxed citrus fruit with hot water in an attempt to remove the wax, but this hardly removes any of the toxic substance used for waxing. Thanks for sharing your ideas. Your videos are nicely made. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5735331/

  • Okay so hands off I tried to copy it as good as I could. Unfortunately I could not get all the ingredients. I did not use Olive Oil but Coconut Oil. No lime no honey no ginger etc. I also used Soya Milk for the rice 2 cups of water 1 soya milk. Despite these differences I did it step by step and boy do I have to say, this is the best meal I have cooked for myself in my entire lifetime (21years). I thank you for sharing this recipe with me from the bottom of my heart. Unfortunately I am a student so I do not have much money to spare otherwise I would 100% donate/ buy some of your products. Last but not least I absolutely loved your sense of humour and the game of thrones references etc. I enjoyed cooking although it took a long time and boy was the clean up allot. Anyways thank you a million times. Cheers, oh and I will post this on facebook aswell and tag you.

  • yo Bobby, I feel so inspired by your healthy yet flavourful, very entertaining cooking videos. Just wondering have you ever come across any curry leaves at your local market? Most Asians would throw in a couple of curry leaves when we cook a pot of curry or finely chopped and add to any curry coconut sauce. Give it a try. Hope you find it useful. Thumbs up!
