  • My problem is that exercise never makes me feel good after I do it. I always just want to shower and take a nap. Since quarantine, I’ve been walking 45 minutes a day and doing floor hiit videos but I don’t feel good after. Any suggestions? My diet is very clean and Whole Foods based.

  • Recently I was looking for a quick and healthy reward cake and came across this oats and banana mug cake amazing recipe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3fcx88XOd-o. I’ll give this one a try too for my next reward snack.

  • I hate how healthy alteratives are usually like twice the price:( I want to snack smart but unless I’m snacking on pure fruit it’s usually more expensive!

  • who else is watching because a few days ago you went to the park with ur closest cousin and family and you, ur sister, ur cousin and her little sister went on the swings but the you started feeling dizzy so now ur questioning how unhealthy you are.

  • 2:27 “we’ve all tried it right” meanwhile me and my fatass are here, watching this video cuz our snack always used to be some microwave pizza

  • Nothing better to do all day than create fancy snacks, such a fake life. And the way she speaks, had to turn this video off after a few minutes, sorry.

  • If you haven’t yet, try the Enjoy Life Lentil chips. There are a ton of flavors and their delicious. A serving is 28 grams and 3 grams of protein.

  • Excellent Video clip! Apologies for chiming in, I would love your thoughts. Have you thought about Rozardner Immediate Meal Reality (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? • Jesus loves you all ❤️ spend time with him. He’s coming back soon

It is a smashing one of a kind product for how to cook healthy snacks minus the normal expense. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my friend Sam after many years got excellent success with it.

  • I love how realistic you are. Your leggings hack video (like about how to lessen camel toe etc.) and this one are both so real and relatable. I love that you don’t pretend to have the most perfect or glamours solutions, but ones that regular people are ACTUALLY going to try haha!

  • I think your heart is in the right place for this video, but the intro to the potato chips part threw me off. “If I catch you with potato chips” didn’t sit right with me. We can indulge in “bad” foods in moderation once in a while, if it helps prevent us from going on a crazy binge later from over-restriction! That comment just rubbed me the wrong way a bit

  • I’ve been on a diet for a whole year now, I’ve missed the times where i would eat snacks all the time and just forgetting my problems.. but staying healthy is a must, thank you ❤

  • I could never give up potato chips tho those pop chips are not the same… but still delicious. I’ll swap it once in a while

  • who else is here bc they’ve been binge watching Greys Anatomy and they decided to start eating healthier so that they don’t get some life threatening rare condition?

    just me? k.

  • lotus stem is a great alternative to chips! roast it with some spices and a little bit of salt (cause that stem’s bland) and you’re good to go! in India, they are popular as Makhanas

  • Be intentional about your purchases make shopping lists with items you really need. Do not go shopping when you are hungry to prevent impulse buying. Do not keep junk, unhealthy foods in your house.

  • I love these ideas I watched it twice back to back since it’s so helpful and would like to implement it from today only

  • I definitely understand the gist of what you are saying but on the one point about eating out always being more expensive, that’s just not true when you’re single. Buying all the ingredients to make what the Chinese restaurant can serve me up in there authentic healthy dish of fish stew that provides me five meals when I add in some sweet potato noodles, it just isn’t the same as what it would cost me if I made it myself. Sometimes when you’re single you have to think about whether it’s actually cheaper to eat out. Zero produce waste that way! Great tips otherwise that I mostly follow.

  • I used to work at a very well known company that made and packaged juice and applesauce, and the only difference between storebrand and our brand was that we changed the label not the product, and charged more for the name brand.

  • buying in bulk does not always work for me -this is a great video on eating healthy nutritious meals without breaking the wallet or the “budget” thank-you! cheers!

  • I read that to really absorb protein you should eat beans/lentils with rice. Something about the amino acids of the 2 ingredients combining to make the protein that humans need. Is that right?

  • Hey Girl!! Omg goodness girl i needed this video! My weakness is soda or sweet juices and hot cheetos esp with nacho cheese. I try not to eat oats bc i get the flow going n get lazy. Am I the only one here with that issue? I love spaghetti squash its so versatile Thank you for all your awesome videos I always look forward to watching them.

  • Drink water! Always have a water bottle in your bag to stop impulse buying drinks because you are thirsty. I also have a small thermos for tea and rarely go into cafes anymore. Only as a treat! Saves me loads of money:)

  • You got me, I love this balanced and relaxed style of thinking about diet.
I really believe that eating healthy is easier than people might think, my friends are always saying “Oh, I don’t have time to eat healthier, I don’t have money to buy organic food”
But we need to analyse what’s a real obstacle and was just an excuse for not changing
    New sub

  • But she had a full bag of potato chips while telling us not to eat potato chips, and then the bag was empty in the other clip… hmmm something don’t add up

  • Frozen fruit in overnight oats are yummy in my opinion. Frozen veg and fruit are often better than some of the ones in our UK supermarkets. I have bought fresh avocados and they have been awful. We can get stuff like that in budget shops like Iceland which are much better.0

  • Would you have some recipes for healthy meals that one can enjoy without needed to heat up the food? Salads are great, but I need to add proteins that balance out the meal.

I used to pack my lunch to work all the time. In those days I freely used the microwave that was available to staff. Then, I started getting feedback from professionals in the natural medicine field, including nutritionists like yourself. The microwave alters food in ways that are not good for the body.

Unfortunately, the microwave has been the only available alternative to those who brought leftovers from last night’s supper, their own recipes, etc. In order to avoid microwaves I started buying my lunch from a Gateway outlet in my building. Fortunately, the offerings include several healthy meals. And I’m able to afford them. Now, I’d like to cut back on buying lunch all the time.

Thanks in advance for any workable ideas I might add to my repertoire.:-)

  • Something that I always do is eat BEFORE I go shopping. I never grocery shop when I am hungry. If I did, I would buy everything in sight.

  • Nothing better to do all day than create fancy snacks, such a fake life. And the way she speaks, had to turn this video off after a few minutes, sorry.

  • I used to eat at the office cafeteria ALL THE TIME! To their credit, they’ve done a fantastic job catering to my various food sensitivities/allergies, but it was expensive! Now I pack my lunch from my freezer in about 5 minutes and save myself about $150 a month!

  • So strange listening that pasta has so many ingredients! Here in Italy pasta is only made of wheat and water but now I understand why the serving portions is lower there

  • I definitely understand the gist of what you are saying but on the one point about eating out always being more expensive, that’s just not true when you’re single. • I always eat before I go to the grocery store to shop. If I go shopping when I’m hungry, I always end up buying things I don’t need, or things that aren’t healthy.

  • Oil pulling, yoga, vitamin C,D, sunbath for 2 hours saves u frm covid as God Jesus saved all sinners by His death n ressurrection on 3rd day. C ‘Ressurrection’ in Google……….

  • I wonder what she’s doing with her pre-swap item examples. I would totally do this video as an excuse to get just one more bottle of ranch, peanut butter, etc

  • If you haven’t yet, try the Enjoy Life Lentil chips. There are a ton of flavors and their delicious. A serving is 28 grams and 3 grams of protein.

  • I’ve been on a diet for a whole year now, I’ve missed the times where i would eat snacks all the time and just forgetting my problems.. but staying healthy is a must, thank you ❤

  • LOVE how you constantly say “candy isn’t a bad thing” “cheese isn’t a bad thing” etc. You’re such a realist about food and what the average person eats in a day. It’s IMPOSSIBLE to eat healthy 24/7. Thank you for being so honest and coming from a place purely to help people <3

  • It *really helps to stick to your grocery list if you eat a good meal before you go to the store, you just don’t get tempted to buy crazy stuff, that would be my tip. Another thing I think of is, I hate cooked vegetables (except for corn or potatoes) so when I use frozen peas, for instance, I just let them defrost and throw them in my salad. Last week, I spent a little over $20 for the whole week because I just bought veggies and protein (no meat).

I agree it’s crazy to buy all those special nutritional powders; they’re so astronomically priced! Buy a couple of them, and you just burned down $50-$80! But being an inconsistent human being ;-), I do buy spirulina because it gives me amazing stamina but that is literally my only big ticket food item, and it lasts me a couple months.

  • Great video! I understand why you wanted to make this quick and concise, but if you ever decide to make a more in-depth video for smart shopping, I would definitely watch <3

  • I hardly eat out at restaurants. The only time is for special occasions. I also am limiting my time at fast food restaurants. I am making it a goal to cook more at home and eat fast food less than five times a month, only when necessary.

  • Healthy food swap is the Belvita Cocoa breakfast biscuits if u have a chocolate craving. They are low in calories and have WAY less sugar that chocolate. Also have a lot more nuteirals like grains and fibres making them a perfect swap!

  • I could never give up potato chips tho those pop chips are not the same… but still delicious. I’ll swap it once in a while

  • 8:52 Her: “They are packed with so many unnessesary ingredients and sugar.”
Smoothie on the table: “No sugar added”
    Me: uhmmmm

  • Excellent Video clip! Apologies for chiming in, I would love your thoughts. Have you thought about Rozardner Immediate Meal Reality (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a great exclusive guide for how to cook healthy snacks minus the headache. Ive heard some great things about it and my mate after a lifetime of fighting got excellent results with it.

  • Nice ideas! I also use the Kodiak Powercake mix. I use 1/3 cup water and 1/3 cup mix, stir it, and cook it in the microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds.

They are not as good as the individual pancakes, but the mug cake is good enough when I’m crunched for time. I do put a little honey or sugar free syrup on top.

Also they travel well so you can make it in a microwave travel mug and have it a little later if you’re pressed for time or want a portable snack.

  • I don’t intentionally swap out food but I sometimes intentionally cut down like don’t finish up a bag of chips in one seating but spread it out to a few days. Still a firm believer of moderation.

  • It’d be awesome to see a budget friendly food swaps! Some of these are a little unrealistic when you’re trying to ball on a budget

  • I have a problem… I love vitamin water but not infused water for me the flavors not strong enough even if I leave it for a few hours any one have any tips?

  • I just stumbled on you’re channel and let me tell you you have a follower for life you are so helpful and I just love you’re food swaps they are mindblowing you are just AMAZING but seriously you are just wonderful

  • You can apply for Food Bank which is free, and order Good Food Box for about $20 for about 10 or 20 pounds of good healthy delicious fruit and vegetables.

  • lotus stem is a great alternative to chips! roast it with some spices and a little bit of salt (cause that stem’s bland) and you’re good to go! in India, they are popular as Makhanas

  • they need to put cancer warning labels on diet coke and other diet drinks. Because aspartame cause many problems, and cancer is one of them! Or maybe we should stop allowing food and drink companies to make products that make us sick in a perfect world I guess.

  • Stevia gives me and my family really bad migraines but we are trying to consume less sugar. Does anyone know of good water flavorings that are sugar AND stevia free?

  • Snacking can be so difficult in the summer time. I snack on mixed nuts. Yogurt and smoothies. But sometimes I have cookies and chocolate. 100th like. Full view.

  • So I just started following your channel and it is awesome! I love the simplicity and the information provided. Thanks for making them available as I know it must take unimaginable time and effort to make.

  • I turned this on right after I ate some of my kids chicken nuggets and then had a handful of cheese its…
Where do you get the candies? also the chips? Trader Joes is pretty far from me

  • Great tips on budgeting! One concept that helps me at the grocery store/shopping is writing up a menu (2 weeks) and doing my groceries according to my meal menus.

  • I can sautee some frozen veggies that taste amazing. It takes time.
Add only enough veg to cover the bottom of the sauce pan.
Turn the heat on high and constantly stir them until most of the water boils off and then turn it on a low medium add olive oil or spray let them sit till color starts to show and then stir. When almost golden all around add seasonings and finish with a minute or two more of cooking
    Perfection, at least to me
I use garlic and onion powder with a little bit of salt

  • Whitney is the best for healthy swaps, but these ARE EXPENSIVE OH MY GAD I’m a student living in a residence how the hell can I live an healthy lifestyle when I have 60$ per week for food

  • Girl… you should try the Mountain Dew kickstart in the mango, pineapple, orange flavor! SO GOOD and low in sugar and calories, plus caffeine!!! I mean, I’m not saying it’s a health food, but dang— it gets me through the week and I don’t feel gross.

  • For fruit water, I keep the just lemon, lime, grapefruit, and orange packets in my purse and gym bag. So good! And it’s just crystallized fruit juice.

  • She keeps lifting her arm so the world notices she’s wearing a a “logo” so tacky who the F wears an invisiline while making a video? She could’ve waited until she was done… this is for more attention. She just comes across like a dumb blonde

  • Such great alternatives! I use to buy the low carb tortillas bc I didn’t know they made an almond flour version. Now I gotta to grab those! Also, the chip bags!!! I had no idea those were made out of popcorn! Adding that to my list too!

  • I have a bad sweet tooth aswell. Sometimes I wish I didn’t lol.

  • I’m so proud of myself, I always said I eat pretty healthy and these are a lot of things I have at home! ☺️ Also making smoothies at home saves you $ too ☺️.

  • I’m going to say Naked smoothies aren’t bad for you. There is no added sugar in the drink. The sugar that you see listed is natural sugar from the fruit. Even in the ingredients list, no sugar is listed.

  • So glad I found your channel I’m trying to lose weight and eat better but I don’t know anything about nutrition so I’m glad to have some kind of idea now about what i should be eating.

  • I’ve been noticing that whenever I eat anything that seems to be high in sodium, I get a horrible stomach ache that can sometimes last for hours. Sadly I really like soy sauce especially in my easy, cheap veggie stir fry. Coconut aminos are totally going into my cart next time I’m at the store though

  • Be intentional about your purchases make shopping lists with items you really need. Do not go shopping when you are hungry to prevent impulse buying. Do not keep junk, unhealthy foods in your house.

  • Can you do some videos on cooking for the freezer? So you can stock a freezer with things so you aren’t tempted to go out or just have a sugary cereal for dinner? Tips on sugar busting would be good as well. My go yo thing is cereal, which I eat far too often. Because I do not feel well enough to cook, or don’t have time. Trying to get out of this downward feeding spiral. Thanks.

  • Wish I was one of those people that could like nutritional yeast. It looks so good on video but for me it tastes/smells like fish food. Love all your other swap options though and your personality!! You just gained a new subscriber:)

  • 2:27 “we’ve all tried it right” meanwhile me and my fatass are here, watching this video cuz our snack always used to be some microwave pizza

  • Meal planning is the way to save money. Also making stews, soups and Chili’s and eating them 3 days in a row also saves soooo much .

  • I turned this on right after I ate some of my kids chicken nuggets and then had a handful of cheese its…
Where do you get the candies? also the chips? Trader Joes is pretty far from me

  • I used to work at a very well known company that made and packaged juice and applesauce, and the only difference between storebrand and our brand was that we changed the label not the product, and charged more for the name brand.

  • Mam l don’t like leafy vegetables but l know its real necessary for our health. But l Dont like them. Can u tell me any other way to have them like from juice or else.

    New sub

  • Produce out of season also doesn’t taste very good. Costco sells berries year round but they are very tart in winter. Why not buy some oranges or pomegranates instead?

  • Frozen fruit in overnight oats are yummy in my opinion. Frozen veg and fruit are often better than some of the ones in our UK supermarkets. I have bought fresh avocados and they have been awful. We can get stuff like that in budget shops like Iceland which are much better.0

  • Lovely Video! Apologies for chiming in, I would love your opinion. Have you researched Rozardner Immediate Meal Reality (do a google search)? It is a smashing one of a kind product for how to cook healthy snacks minus the normal expense. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my friend Sam after many years got excellent success with it.

  • Something that I always do is eat BEFORE I go shopping. I never grocery shop when I am hungry. If I did, I would buy everything in sight.

  • I watched your first food swaps video and the yogurt ranch is the ONLY ranch I use now I AM obsessed!!!!
Will definitely be trying these out:)

  • I’m a new subscriber. So glad I found you!! I’ve been on a weight plateau for so long but your tips seem easy and effective. Gonna try!!

  • I used to eat at the office cafeteria ALL THE TIME! To their credit, they’ve done a fantastic job catering to my various food sensitivities/allergies, but it was expensive! Now I pack my lunch from my freezer in about 5 minutes and save myself about $150 a month!

  • Oil pulling, yoga, vitamin C,D, sunbath for 2 hours saves u frm covid as God Jesus saved all sinners by His death n ressurrection on 3rd day. C ‘Ressurrection’ in Google……….

  • I read that to really absorb protein you should eat beans/lentils with rice. Something about the amino acids of the 2 ingredients combining to make the protein that humans need. Is that right?

  • I always eat before I go to the grocery store to shop. If I go shopping when I’m hungry, I always end up buying things I don’t need, or things that aren’t healthy.

  • So I just started following your channel and it is awesome! I love the simplicity and the information provided. Thanks for making them available as I know it must take unimaginable time and effort to make.

  • Great tips on budgeting! One concept that helps me at the grocery store/shopping is writing up a menu (2 weeks) and doing my groceries according to my meal menus.

  • A REALLY good vegan yogurt is So Delicious. I’m personally not vegan, but my best friends family is and I love that yogurt, I like it more than any other yogurt. I don’t get it that much though since it’s kind of expensive.

  • Drink water! Always have a water bottle in your bag to stop impulse buying drinks because you are thirsty. I also have a small thermos for tea and rarely go into cafes anymore. Only as a treat! Saves me loads of money:)

Thanks.

  • Thanks so much for the recipes me and my cousin loved the apple and penaut butter we added banana and oatmeal cookie crumbs and it was so good! ;):)

Smoothie on the table: “No sugar added”
    Me: uhmmmm

  • I think your heart is in the right place for this video, but the intro to the potato chips part threw me off. “If I catch you with potato chips” didn’t sit right with me. We can indulge in “bad” foods in moderation once in a while, if it helps prevent us from going on a crazy binge later from over-restriction! That comment just rubbed me the wrong way a bit

  • Not gonna lie, I took a break fr watching my usual fitness/health YouTube channels ever since I got down in the dumps about my knee surgery/recovery. • My problem is that exercise never makes me feel good after I do it. I always just want to shower and take a nap. Since quarantine, I’ve been walking 45 minutes a day and doing floor hiit videos but I don’t feel good after. Any suggestions? My diet is very clean and Whole Foods based.

  • Does peanut butter help in weight loss, because most of the times I just see weight gain videos and research articles of it.. can anyone enlighten me.

  • I’m going to say Naked smoothies aren’t bad for you. There is no added sugar in the drink. The sugar that you see listed is natural sugar from the fruit. Even in the ingredients list, no sugar is listed.

  • On the sixth one put chocolate chips in the batter get a spoon and spoon them out onto a pan pat each circle lightly put it in the oven for 15 minutes and it’s oatmeal chocolate chip cookies

  • I was just distracted by how pretty you are the whole video but yes, thanks for the tips. I too am now obsessed with spaghetti squash. I actually dont feel cheated if I skip on the pasta and opt for the spaghetti squash and I’m a pasta lover.

  • I love this video but on nutrition labels, carbs is a larger category that includes sugars, so if the label says 10g of sugar and 10g of carbs, it means the only carb is the sugar

  • Hi Whitney, love your videos! I like to make my own ranch dip, I just mix a packet of hidden valley ranch mix with a tub of Greek yogurt. It’s amazing with veggies and packs a lot of protein!

  • I’m new to watching you page and just started your workouts and I can’t wait to see a difference! I make a hummus dip you would probably love… I use a large tub of plain hummus and layered with diced cucumber, diced tomatoes, reduced fat feta crumbles, and topped with chopped parsley! Once I made that I never went back to any other hummus! Also whole 30 has a ranch recipe that is amazing called dump ranch it called to use your choice of herbs so I use dill. Anyways love what your doing keep up the amazing work and thanks so much for being you!

  • Yay! I’ve done almost all your swaps.I’m doing good.I need to get the coconut amino and some nutritional yeast everyone’s talking about.other than the swap for the sour cream to yogurt I’m loving all of your swaps! Thank you, your awesome and beautiful in and out.god bless

  • Hi Whitney & fans! Fantastic video. A quick suggestion: I also love sparkling water but also caffeine. There is a sparkling water called Limitless that actually has some caffeine a little less than a cup of coffee. I’m actually obsessed with them, they aren’t a ton of caffeine which makes them an awesome slow build.

  • Meal planning is the way to save money. Also making stews, soups and Chili’s and eating them 3 days in a row also saves soooo much .

  • Lavva for vegan yogurt, low on sugar, and natural!! Get the plain one and mix it with some blueberries, or whatever fruits… sooo goood!

  • i know this video is old, but she mentioned looking for a vegan yogurt. if anyone is still watching and is looking for a good high protein, lower sugar, non dairy yogurt…. kite hill greek style almond milk yogurt!! 11g protein and 0g added sugar in the unsweetened plain flavor which is the only one i’ve tried. they have a few other flavors i want to try. the unsweetened plain tastes a tiny bit almondy but the texture is spot on. i add a tiny bit of stevia and some peanut powder and i can’t taste the almondy flavor

  • I know potato chips are awful and I make my own at home sometimes with zucchini or sweet potatoes. But while pregnant you’d have to pry cool ranch Doritos out of my cold dead hands

  • With the ranch there is also powder hidden valley ranch that you can mix with plain Greek yogurt, taste the same but is amazingggg

  • There are many companies that make healthier chips. There are chips made with veggies, and some are made with beans. Try those instead of pop chips.

  • Ok so like you’re obsessed with ranch. I have a ketchup problem like chicken and ketchup is probably my favorite thing in this entire world. Besides cheesecake but that’s a cheat day so any recommendations for swapping out ketchup?

  • Am I the only one in the fitness world who hates yogurt and oatmeal etc?! I’m such a texture person and the mushiness of things will make me gag! Someone help!

  • I learned something very valuable and I thank you for it I love soy sauce but I’m taking soy products out of my diet since I found out it’s a major trigger for my migraines. • I love Kodiak cakes! I make them with egg whites and Greek yogurt for added protein, and top them with a little peanut butter for healthy fats✨
