  • It can be good but make sure you only take a set amount and still drink a lot of water. I’ve gone into acute renal failure (very scary) because I was pounding 8 protein shakes a day.   • I used to get sickening side pains when I would drink my protein shakes (even with plant based protein) and supplements in general… I would then get dizzy (probably blood pressure) and extremely dehydrated… it would last for over an hour in the morning after I took them… then i noticed that the days I didn’t take a protein shake or one without protein I was better off… I have since stopped all supplements and feel great and so is my physique… after a workout I simply munch on some jerky and I’m fine… from my experience don’t like to put anything synthetic or processed into my body ������������

    Protein Powder (simple like ProtoeinX for my own analysis) or no protein powder, acne had no effects, neither positive nor negative. Skin care routine, genetics, hormone imbalances/ responses, etc cause acne. I’ve experienced this personally guys

  • Hair loss? YES. It helps indirectly. Due to protein intake you build muscle. When u build muscle and do strength training your test goes up. Also DHT.. But in fact it is not worthy having low test just to save your hair. Benefits of normal or higher test levels are soo much more..

  • The biggest issue is not the Whey itself, but what comes with the powder (even the so called high quality or “natural” ones): Flavourings, Sweeteners and God knows what else is hidden there. Anything that goes through processing gets a share of greed from the brands so they will never tell you what else they put in those powders, problems may just happen in the long term so no one cares about it.

I do eat two slices of whole wheat bread or 1/2 cup potatoes, maybe a cup of polenta, 3 servings a day for a carb the rest is vegetables and protein and good fats. I don’t do EXTRA FAT like a coffee with coconut oil. I don’t do protein shakes. Would I still lose weight? I do 18/6 window… Is it healthy? I find it realistic.

  • Idk if you ingested any electrolytes, but if not then a good portion of the weight lost was likely water weight. Not a bad thing though, just need to be wary of dehydration

  • Don’t forget to ingest multivitamins, probiotics to aid in digestion(since you’re body may have trouble producing necessary enzymes at times), and electrolytes (sodium, potassium, etc. In order to actually retain water). The increase of calories could have been the issue in the lower energy. Dr. Jason Fung recommends 500 daily calories or less to maintain the fasted state and as such the fat burning.

  • Im heading into day 3 and have had one smoothie and multiple gallons of water(daily intake of 1.5 to 2.5 gallons) on top of a couple of protein shakes to keep some type of energy.   • Bro I done cut from 210-185 and now I am going to try this out to reach my goal of 175. The first 3 weeks were the hardest I ate 2-3 meals a day and anywhere from 1,000-1,500 calories a day and only lost 3 pounds while doing heavy weight training and 5sets of 45 push-ups and 45 squats for a cool down but once I got past the 3rd week weight started to melt off and i felt way better. though out my whole time dieting for the past 6 weeks I drank no sodas, no sports drinks, no candy, no chips and hardly any bread and it was so tempting to quit after the 3rd week to quit because of how much I was sacrificing and to barely see any results but I decided to kept my head down and kept going it eventually I got over that hill and everything losing weight was 10x easier.

(I hated the side effects for that long) I switched to pea and although it tastes much worse I feel much better and I have no acne,bloating and I don’t feel lethargy.   • I did this with vegan protein powder and only drank 2 liters of water with added coffee to the diet and no working out ended up losing 17.4 lbs in 2 weeks. Doing it with non lactose milk and the protein powder with a cup of coffee or so my calories was sometimes 940 or 620 depending if i had 3 cups of it a day or 2 cups.
