  • Dear Sir, we tried to make Energy Bar following your recipe. It didn’t solidified even after keeping overnight in Refrigerator. We didn’t discard the water in which they were soaked, and blended with water, and secondly we didn’t have Coconut while preparation of the bar.
    Could these be the reason why the bar didn’t solidify?

  • Honey is sugar, dates are sugar, milk powder contains sugars. All of these treats will spike your blood sugar massively. Rather look into using xylitol or sucralose and gelatin if you need something that tastes sweet and is sticky but is not sugar.

  • Your recipes look truly delicious but they are still not suitable for diabetics. Dates are very high in sugars and honey is full of glucose.

  • No sugar? Date paste + honey + the little sugar in the nuts = tons of sugar (fructose + glucose). Absolutely not recommended for people with diabetes (insulin-dependent/insulin-resistant, alike). Besides mixing lots of sugar with lots of fat = metabolic lethal bomb. In fact, this is a successful recipe for imminent death.
