  • wish i could make a thick smoothie in a regular single serve blender cup… when i blend it blends the bottom bit then it sticks to the sides and doesn’t even blend all of my berries… so i have to add milk or yogurt and its just a runny smoothie (don’t get me wrong its still good just not as thick as i want it):(

  • These aren’t THICK at all. Mine are hundred times thicker and I’m using regular blender (I have a tough time making it ) But really, this is smoothie, not a smoothie bowl

  • ATTENTION!⚠️⚠️ I know that a lot of people want a Vitamix blender, but can’t afford it full price. I got mine at Costco for a fraction of the price! I suggest watching their sales, may pop up again!!!! Hope this helped ⚠️⚠️

  • These smoothie bowl recipes are really great. I love these smoothie bowl recipes. Thanks for sharing these recipes with all of US. Even i have an article on how to make smoothie bowl as well. Grab a look at the recipe:

  • yeah no it doesnt work with a cheap blender my SMOOTHIE BLENDER (it’s supposed to make smoothies) couldn’t make something so thick and beautiful.

Edit: And this is the definition of expensive veganism. Not saying it’s bad, just not suitable for lots of regular people that don’t have a high income but still wants to help the environment and stuff… Please do a video without the expensive items like powders and Vitamix blenders… thank you…

  • Hi Sadia!
I am in love with your channel, congratulations!
I noticed you use tofu and soy milk in your receipts, one day in the past I heard that soy is not good for you I am confusing every time I see vegans consuming it freely. I am afraid of including it in my meals, or even buying products that has soy in the ingredients. Could you talk about it and explain the soy myth? Thank you!

  • I don’t eat smoothie bowls but after every smoothie bowl video I am very excited to do this But I like to eat the fruits as pieces and not as purree

  • Mic the Vegan said on his channel that calcium obtained through fortified non-dairy milks is not healthy and should be avoided. Thoughts on this?

  • Thanks Sadia for the tips with the smoothies, may I ask which grain do you suggest for a breakfast smoothie? I suaully use raw Oats, I feel I need some form on carbohydrate in it. Your tips are useful, the store bought ones are full of sugar and artificial yogurt.

  • When you realise shop bought ice cream is not only a rip off but worse than just doing stuff yourself and it’s. Custom to preference so it’s like even better healthier gunna benefit you and taste mad good

  • I would never want to become vegan because i just love the taste of dairy products but I still like watching your videos and already made few smoothies following your recipes using almond milk. I wish I could show you, as they look exactly like the one you have made and they are very healthy and delicious.

  • Hi, can anyone help? I do a successful and tasty low carb diet. I want to make cornbread for Thanksgiving, but I do not want to use high carb corn products. Any idea as to what to substitute for corn and still have it taste like cornbread? Any suggestion for a cornbread sub?

  • OMG Sadia. Every time I watch your videos I would like to be a vegan person 😉 but it’s just that I have twin boys that sometimes I don’t have time to do everything from scratch. I do some changes at a time, like drink more smoothies like those. I love your channel. Thanks for doing this:) Cheers!

  • Yes…since i do a low carb diet spinach and hemphearts are my go to with a few berries…I also use soy milk for its estrogen and tofu for creaminess…I also add a little bit of an infused tea when I need to destress

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you! When I fall off the healthy wagon your videos always give me the motivation to get back on and your delicious, nutritious sweet treats are great for my little boy who needs a very high fibre diet. Bless you x

  • It’s NOT healthy if you use SOYMILK because SOYMILK is GMO & disrupts HORMONES within the body. CHANGE OUT your milk & then you will have a HEALTHY smoothie. I still LIKED & value your video.

  • I know this is kind of a late comment on your video. I recently subscribed and I’m loving all your videos.
    Love your enthusiasm.
    Keep it up!:) thank you.

  • I love the video, but how can you say “Healthy” using 3 bananas that equals 6 portions of high glycemic index fruit? If a person with diabetes watches this video, they might think it is correct when it is not.

  • Just found Pick Up Limes and subscribed this weekend. Geeking out now, watching all of the videos chronologically. Been vegan since 9/10/11, but was still eating salmon once in a while and just stopped completely last week. That was my last vestige of non-vegan eating that I found so hard to let go. I’m so glad she mentioned omegas. Anyway, I am also gluten-free since September 2018, and so far I’m seeing no gluten here. I assume there will be in future videos, but I can always modify. So happy I found this channel!

  • these are a bit too runny for a smoothie bowl. I would drink these instead. I use more frozen ingredients and a lot less liquid for mine.
Otherwise good recipes. I will edit them to fit my preferences.

  • Great ideas and it all looks so beautiful! Raw/dry omega-3-rich chia seeds absorb water from the body so I only eat them soaked so they sprout and I stay hydrated. That way it also releases the enzyme inhibitors and makes them easier to digest. Further It also helps to increase the amount of nutrients the body is able to absorb. It’s worth trying to soak before adding to a smoothie (chia 1: 10 water for 30 to 90 min.). Ground/pulverized they are great too for many purposes.

  • Yes weird question, is it possible to make these without a blender? I understand it will take longer, but is it possible? Like we don’t have a blender ( yet, I’m still convincing my parents) but is it possible?

  • There is actually no natural soy anywhere in the US. Even the “organic” soy milk or sauce is GMO. Its better to refer to a almond or oat milk.

  • Hi Alexandra! I just wanted to ask you if adding Spirulina powder to the recipe is necessary or not? As here where I live, its very hard to find it.
Your recipes are lovely and I want to try them out, so could you please reply asap.

  • Sadia, I have a question for you. But first let me explain myself first. My sister is currently reading a book written by a nutritionist and this particular book recommends lots of protein in the form of animal products and it says to avoid most starchy foods including fruits. I feel very frustrated because she believes it since it is a register dietitian. Could you help me explain to her why this is not a healthy route for weight loss or over all health? I do not understand how dietitians can have such controversial ideas. Shouldn’t we be all in the same page?

  • I made the blueberry smoothe bowl and ut looked the exact same except i’m on a diet so I couldn’t add the chocolates in but, i replaced it with strawberries and it tasted so good. Except i did have to add milk to it and i think you might of added milk you yours because it turned out the same, thank you for the heavenly smoothie!

  • Hi do you cook the red vegetable I forgot the name, the red little ball, do you cook it before you put in the smoothie or add it raw?

I will try all of this recipes!

  • My idea is take some frozen bananas and fresh bananas and some milk, cocoa powder and lastly some chocolate syrup. You can add strawberries if you want to!

  • I love how you guys put exact measurements! most videos like these just say “a handful of pineapple, some strawberries and a splash of milk” which is not helpful at all ♥️
