  • I don’t know why but you always make me hungry the way your enjoy the food is impressed. Don’t get me wrong I loved food and see people join my ship make so happy . Stay well and safe and please you baby daughter is always in a happy mode that is an inspiration and motivation!!! Loved her ❤️

  • Since I discovered how wonderful vegetables taste roasted I have a love for them now. Since you did the meal prep with them, do you have any advice on eating them the next day as far as heating them, should you microwave, re-heat in the oven or what do you do?

  • I make a similar tuna mixture for my baked potatoes but for some reason ive never thought of adding taco seasoning so i will definitely be trying that! The oatmeal cups are a great idea too.

  • You say breakfast was “under $3 for the week” but your final picture contains blueberries and coconut shreds… those are definitely not $1 per unit you buy them in. It would be nice if you would factor those in as well.

  • Hi Alyssia!!! I just LOVE all of your videos especially the budget friendly ones. I have been able to cut my budget from $75/week to $40/week and sometimes down to $0! I buy as much as I can in bulk and on sale and I very rarely pay full price for anything. This week I spent about $9 in groceries and another $2 for spices because I shop in my kitchen first. Could you please do a “leftovers” video or a “what’s in my kitchen” video? That would be awesome! Thanks again for all of your hard work to make such healthy, budget friendly and sometimes funny videos!!!!

  • I like Trader Joe’s too. But it takes more than an hour to get there. I live in Lafayette, IN. Whereas, Trader Joe’s is in Indianapolis.:(

  • I use brown rice cakes from TJ, and when I’m done a pack, I put the crumbs in a jar. When I need panko, I crush the crumbs. Delicious, easy, crunchy, and better than white rice.

  • Baby Rose looks like a doll baby I love her outfit❤ I love the time she spends with her daddy you guys are so adorable together OMG just too much cuteness

  • Homegrown herbs, veg and homemade bread. (Wholemeal) flours are always cheap. If you want to start a sourdough culture, you don’t even need yeast!

Overnight breads are the easiest and take only 1 minute of mixing and 30 minutes of baking. Hurray for fresh bread!

  • Ohhh boy got the almond flour chocolate chip cookies, and the coconut water & smoothie. WINNERS! thank you!!!!!!! I dunno where I would be without your channel!

  • Hey! Not sure if you have done a video or not. Could you d a video on homemade hot pockets? Also could you do a meal prep meal prep to other stores such as Walmart, Target, Winn Dixie, ALDI, and Publix (if you have one where you live). Thanks. Thanks for another wonderful new video.

‼️Your website isn’t working properly. The props up about the NEWSLETTER doesn’t allow you to place your e-mail. You can’t add your name in the top box. You can only as your name in the e-mail box. Just wanted you to know.‼️

  • You should include a grocery list in your meal prep videos so we can take a screenshot to look at when we’re grocery shopping great video gave me some new ideas

  • Thank you for your awesome video.. You made me happy. Health is wealth. May God bless you and continue to help eating healthy through your good information video.

  • Love this! I have been prepping my raw veggies each week lately, and it had made A HUGE difference in how many veggies we are eating now, both raw and cooked (I can just throw my cut, raw veggies in a pan or roast them in no time)!
I love seeing any/all meal prep…. More grocery hauls! And what do your kids eat in a day?

  • I came across your channel and istagram by accident looking for TJ grocery hauls and I am so happy! Your “travel” dinner party idea is GENIUS! So creative, love it!

  • If you buy the organic oats, chia seeds, and flax seed, you can make your own oatmeal without any added sugars and for half the price of the small to go container

  • I loved this video, as always! Could you do a whole 30 approved breakfast video? I always struggle and never know what to eat in the morning…

  • Love this video but then I really love all your videos! I bet there are lots of viewers like me who would like to see many more of these videos especially using Trader Joe’s. I travel 45-60 minutes to TJ’s but make my every 4-6 week trips worthwhile by stocking my pantry and freezer. We really enjoy Chili Lime Chicken burgers versatile and healthy, frozen sockeye salmon, frozen hash browns used as base for eggs Benedict….to name just a few. Their sample recipes which are often very tasty become some of our favorites: flatbread topped with garlic spread, quantarro cheers blend, shredded Brussels sprouts and balsamic glaze & TJ’s lemon pepper pappadelle noodles, topped with sun dried tomatoes, grilled artichokes in a jar, balsamic glaze and fresh basil! I could go on and on….

  • I want the Thermomix, do you know if there is a payment plan to buy it, I cannot afford to buy it in a single payment, please advice me were you bought it. Thank you.

  • ….and also Bobby, that ingredients list that just said “SPICE” should definitely NOT be Bobby approved, cause that’s just the same thing as saying “natural flavors”…

  • Hi Alyssia, thanks for another great video:D I wonder can I add nuts, spices, sweetners and maybe even fruits to my oatmeal cups so that it’s an even quicker breakfast? I always find that preparing toppings takes most of the preptime for me. I also add flax seeds when cooking oatmeal, can I freeze it?

  • omg this is the first video i’ve watch of yours, and when your brought you baby’s in, i couldn’t even concentrate to the products you were talking about bc she is so cute!!!

  • Yummy yum yum! this is truly awesome I can’t believe how it only costs 30$ for a whole meal prep that’s insane! anyways have an awesome day

  • New subscriber… I am very interested in ur channel… I love these recipes but i also love sweet potatoes so instead of the potatoes i would like to try it with sweet potatoe nd ground turkey not tuna… I don’t like tuna much:) thank u for sharing

  • Hey Bobby please consider this: Videos for special diets. The obvious ones would be for diabetes, cancer, and heart disease. Also, many people suffer from leaky gut or other digestive diseases. Patients are given scant info about diet, because that’s just not part of the medical field. And nutritionists don’t have your knowledge of additives, etc. I think you could do a great job helping specific medical populations. Please consider doing a video for people with ulcerative colitis, diverticulitis, diverticulosis, g.e.r.d., and other digestive disorders. They are so prevalent, even in non-payment populations.

  • What sets this video apart and what I love about this the most is how she goes piece by piece and most people just lay out their grocery haul and talk behind the camera but this is much more personal. Just some feedback for you I love Trader Joe’s though and I really enjoy seeing what other people buy there! ❤️

  • I shop at Wholefoods and sometimes Stop & Shop.   Thank you for sharing your grocery haul! <3   I hope all is well in LA, heard about more earthquakes.

  • It’s pronounced like harry co vair (lol) from the 4 years of high school French I actually remember. It’s literally just French for green beans.

  • I think I need to buy more of these easy prepped meals! I’m constantly trying to keep our grocery budget down as much as I can, but I don’t have much time to prep lunch during our busy homeschool days! Doing something like this is worth the extra few dollars!

  • It’s really easy to make your own hummos! Once you use fresh lemons and tahini with or without garlic, you won’t want to eat the packaged kind!

  • eggs usually last a lot longer than the expiration date tru the float test (google it) or crack in a separate container to see if it’s bad, also refrigerated bread lasts longer too!

  • Yeah, cruciferous veggies in general cause bloating and gas in most people because they’re hard to digest completely and sit in the end of the colon

  • I have a major problem with the classification of cassava as “filler” and treating carbs as the enemy. That breeds unhealthy, restrictive eating. There is nothing wrong with carbs and “simple sugars” in moderation with other foods! Cassava is a great alternative to flour, ESPECIALLY for those who struggle to eat all grains.

  • Yes! Love this video! I was so excited to see what you get from Trader Joe and how you prepare it. I keep wanting to buy lunch stuff from there but not sure what was good as far as prepackaged stuff! This was helpful! I am trying to move away from keto style but just eating clean and low carb (definitely more sustainable)so this was helpful! Would love to see more because I am such a visual person! Plus I have started lift 4 from beachbody because you have inspired me with your strength training and overall clean eating so THANK YOU for sharing you!!!

  • I got this easy recipe from another TJ hauler and it’s soooo easy and soooo good. Hot or cold! One jar of Masala Simmer Sauce, can of garbanzos and a can of organic coconut cream! Viola! You can add rice or chicken or potatoes, whatever. But start with those and you’ll see what l mean.

  • Girl! This video is amazing. I love that you are paying attention to what foods affect your body. I work for a nutritionist, and what you are doing is called bio-hacking! Sounds weird, and super techy but here is a link to our website if you want to read more on it. https://cleancoachcarly.com/pages/what-is-bio-hacking (PS: I have been watching your videos for over a year now, and you are one of my favorites! Thank you!)

  • Okay Bobby stop using baby Rose in your videos. You know there is no way none of us are going to get the lesson. LOL. All we do is stare at her and we just want to carry her and smooch her and grab those cheeks. Free babysitting in Davie, Florida! Love you guys!!!

  • I was wondering why you used half almond milk and half coconut milk with the chia pudding. I usually use the full can with like 5 tablespoons of chia and the maple syrup and vanilla. Is it bad to use all coconut milk?

  • In the great State of Vermont we have food Co-ops. I’m a member of 2.. One is in Brattleboro and the other (my main one) is in Burlington.. It’s called City Market. I wish you could do a video there although they have signs up that say no cameras..
They’re kind of a mixture of Whole Foods & Trader Joe’s and it’s member supported and run.. I think they have really good offerings but it would be really cool if you could make it over there and give them your stamp of approval…. Or not! Keep up the good work!
    ✊

  • Making life easier of course! Great simple no-brainer cooking HACKS! I sometimes make oatmeal and egg white for a sweet tooth w/frozen blueberries and this would be a perfect option to meal prep and freeze and portion control also… Thank you!

  • Bobby I’m from Saudi Arabia and we don’t have trader Joe’s here how can I buy from trader Joe’s or any product shop paced and placed through trading sponsors not website??????Are you a trading sponsor??????

  • Not sure if someone already commented but that chicken-less seasoning is not a rub! It’s an Australian thing that they call Chicken Salt. It’s supposed to somewhat mimic the flavor of a bouillon cube. It’s so simple but so good! Aussies typically put it on their fries but I highly recommend adding it to eggs! Also, I think the chicken salt that I usually buy is more heavy on the curry and TJ’s is more heavy on the celery flavor. Still super good!

  • Beware the meatless patties are NOT gluten free! They had wheat product in it. Just so your aware:) also the cowboy burger veggie patties are not gluten free. Trader Joe’s isn’t super gf friendly but you just have to read the labels if your really trying to be aware of consuming gluten and wheat:)
Recently turned gluten free myself was having gut issues and it cleared me up ALOT!:) #traderjoesgang

  • Yes! Just In time. I’ve been looking for different options for lunch. Also ikea sells glass food containers in their 360+ line for super cheap we love them.

  • What about the Maple syrup in the pudding doesn’t that have sugar so it would not be Keto friendly if I am correct?? Also do the Carbs in Organic Yellow Lentil & Brown Rice Spaghetti spike your or affect your sugar levels?? Popcorn and cookies not low carb stuff either? So what is your goal just food that does not have bad ingredients?

  • Would love to see meal planning from the budgeting and family finance side. Best meals to stretch the dollar and cook once two meals kind of thing.

  • Love love love this type of video!!!! I love seeing new things I can pick up on my next trip to Trader Joes. Love seeing new ideas. Please make more!!!

  • Yes, love the Trader Joe’s meal prep!!!! Keep them coming!!! All meals would be fantastic! And perhaps portion control snacks!! ❤️❤️

  • If you wanna veganize this meal prep, here’s how!-Drop the tuna from the chili and replace it with tofu, vegan ground round, or just more beans and corn!-Drop the fried egg from the dinner-Replace the veggie patty with Trader Joe’s Masala patties (the veggie patties shown in the video have egg I believe)That’s it! Easy vegan meals for the week!

  • Love this! Please more food hauls, meal plan-prep…. you have the best ideas. Thanks for the inspiration!

I know you workout at the gym now, but can you do a video of home workout ideas? Like when you were working out in your garage? Sooo helpful!

  • Some of those products have been on the TJ market for years which is prob why some of the ingredients aren’t that trendy for example…. some of those hummus options I’ve been eating since I was a teenager! Now I’m in my 30’s ;D

  • Hii Bobby, I usually make sandwiches for my son’s packed lunch, can you please recommend a healthy store bought lunch idea. Thank you

  • They used to have chocolate covered potato chips (which are so bad for you, I knowwww) and they were SO good but they don’t have them anymore I love TJ orange juice!

  • Aren’t those eggs the same ones from a previous video that you said not to get? The Chino Valley ones? Just wanted to see if there’s been an update on their approval or not. Thanks!

  • if you buy organic foods that are prepared (like hummus) they have way less ingredients (good thing) and taste so much better once you get used to them. i like whole foods but the closest one is like a 45 min drive. ugh. so i do like 75% publix and 25% whole foods. i hate publix and i think they’re a total ripoff but it’s the only clean store with decent products near me.:)

  • I’m enjoying your vidoes! You, Art and Dessi are an outstanding team and Rose is a doll! Would you be able to do a review on honey and syrups? Also, I saw the protein powder video, do you have one on bone broth protein powder? Thank you in advance!

  • Sesame oil is bomb in marinades, salad dressings (sesame oil + coconut aminos + rice vinegar = life), or as a finishing oil! Heat will dull a lot of the aromatic flavor so if I just going to add it to a stir fry I always wait until the end after I’ve turned off the heat

  • Just started binge watching your channel. I’m oddly picky with my notification clicking. After discovering that we have the term “lips & butt holes” in common I’ll be ringing the bell.

  • “You’re paying for water, homie don’t play that game!” I love you!!! Thank you for all of your tips and advice. Stay #woke. The ending of this video is adorable! ♡
“My Rosita” hand down best dad ever!!

  • Your baby is so adorable. And so healthy.I love watching your videos.I learn a lots what to eat. They are so healthy.Great job.God bless you.

  • I just found your channel and I’m enjoying it so much. I am overwhelmed with all this information but it totally makes sense. Rose is an absolute doll!

  • Hi Bobby, I love your videos on eating clean! so much good info. Do you have a manual or an AP that we can download the items you suggest and where to buy them? Thanks

  • love your haul but is not really healthy. you dont have to put healthy on the title because im sure you have lots of followers. I was really looking for healthy trader joes items and this is not. i will dislike this video just because of that. sorry hope you are more truthful with your title.

  • Quinoa cowboy burger cooked on the skillet like taco meat over the cruciferous crunch salad and the green goddess salad dressing is one of my favorites

  • hi morgan, thank you so much for such a directed/positive video:) i was wondering if you would consider linking resources for donation to covid relief efforts in your description box? or even donating adsense revenue for a video or two? i’ve commented things similar to this on some other youtube channels and i think it would be such a great way to provide a list of resources for how to support our community in such a difficult time and totally on brand with your channel!

  • You are the best daddy ever You deserve all the followers in the world Love your videos so helpful and educational

  • I’m loving your videos with Rose. Thank you for all the great information you provide us with. I would like to know what brand of tortilla chips do you recommend? I can’t live without tortilla chips and salsa.

  • i know this is late but my all time favorite salad dressing to make at home quickly is a french vinaigrette. i mix the aioli dijon mustard (from trader joes) with some olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt/pepper, and red pepper flakes. it is seriously SOOOO good and so easy! i mix it up then put in a spinach/arugula mix on top

  • Thanks very much for the ideas. Will you consider getting glass containers? I bought mine recently and I am so happy and I am happy not to worry about using the microwave with them and my food.

  • I have like Walmart in my area, no Trader Joe’s or Costco etc! Hoping they have something like this there! This would be perfect for me and my hubby!!:-)

  • i believe a Canola or Soybean Oil blend can NOT be implicitly trusted to be non-GMO any company that goes out of their way to obtain something of higher quality Will boast about it, think about all the packaging we have come across already!

  • I must have missed the full show on Sprouts. cant see it on your Kindle I use whenever I shop. is dark chocolate with blueberries or almond really good..

  • Organic Foods are foods that are grown without the use of pesticides to get rid of the bugs around the foods. When people spray fruits and vegetables with pesticides, the pesticides go through the process of photosynthesis and the pesticides end up in the DNA of the fruit or vegetables.

  • I think the Vegan Chicken-less seasoning is primarily meant for chicken soup, or any recipe that normally relies on chicken as the main flavor profile.

  • THERE SHE IS!!! BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER,WE DO NOT HAVE TRADER JOE’S IN THIS AREA,WE HAVE TO DRIVE ONE AND HALF HOURS TO GET TO THE NEAREST TRADER JOE’S…I USED TO LIVE WHERE THERE WERE MANY TRADER JOE’S…

  • Can you please do more on all products best for Diabetics it’s such a huge problem in our country thank u. I’m really trying to eat healthier

  • Can you please do a review of the new Trader Joe’s sparkling juice drinks (i.e. strawberry, watermelon)?? They are delicious with no natural flavors or added sugar, but still seem too good to be true! Love your videos thanks for all the helpful tips!!

  • I honestly think if they use quality ingredients of course they’ll let you know.. it’s a selling feature..love your videos.. Furikaki sounds good have an awesome weekend

  • Great stuff. So glad I discovered you. FYI, hummus is NOT pronounced like but and hum. It’s pronounced like foot, push, bush, NOT like brush and touch.

  • Great ideas thank you for sharing! I did buy those same Trader Joe’s veggie patties but every time I cook them over a saute pan they don’t turn out very good. They are a bit mushy even though I cook them for much longer than it says on the package. Any tips?

  • What I HATE about Trader Joe’s…no customer service phone number on ANY products if you have a problem with product. You have to talk to in store customer service and good luck that they will do anything. Don’t understand why customers aren’t given customer service info on products, like other stores. They chronically have watery cottage cheese and sushi rolls have dry crappy rice that never seems to improve and they know this is a problem.

  • yum those macaroons are really good; I feel you on cooking raw meat. I hate touching it so I stick to fish. sometimes you find seasoned meat its pricier but you don’t have to touch it as much as the regular meat

  • I love your videos. I basically eat plant based and love all the information and suggestions you give. I just get really frustrated as I’m allergic to coconut so there are so many products I can’t eat! I wish there weren’t so many products that are now using coconut! (Sorry, don’t mean to vent, but it’s really frustrating!)

  • I believe the Chicken-Less seasoning resembles Adobo by Goya for those who know about that latino holy grail seasoning. You season everything with it.

  • Haricots verts (French) = green beans in English. To pronounce it: AH (the noise you make when startled) RI (like RIhanna) CO (like at the beginning of COAT) and VER (like at the beginning of verses)

  • Definitely do more of these! I love having different meal ideas. My husband does most of the cooking, but I do help with the meal planning, as do our teens, who are also health-conscious. Great video! Yum!

  • You are TERRIBLE at cooking your Vegan Burger,,, seeet geezeus Bobby, step your game up,,,
You are DEFINITELY supposed to cook those through, and I’m pretty sure there’s very specific warnings on those packages usually,,,

  • my trader joes has oat milk! its where they have their “almond beverage” aka almond milk. its called “oat beverage” shocking but its tasty!

  • Love your videos!!! I am learning a lot.. Where did you get that coffee pressed or maker?( I don’t know what its called) is that on your list?

  • One of my favorite things to buy at the grocery store is the garlic butter French loaf. (Completely unhealthy!) it makes a great side and when I’m ready to use it up, I make French bread pizza.

  • thank you for all you do!! when you get a chance -and maybe you have reviewed this in the past will you tell us if the “european style whole grain bread at Trader’s is Bobby approved please? cause it is super tasty!! thnk you

  • I’ve had both the Japanese fried rice and the vegetable fried rice, I like the Japanese fried rice more, I think it has better flavor. Super good with the marinated teriyaki tofu and the Thai veggie gyoza

  • Yes please! Love these videos!
I don’t think my husband would be on board but I would like to find something he would like and I can make it for the both of us.
How do you do breakfast and suppers at night? And do the lunches stay yummy for all 4 days??
My husband brings a lot of aandwhiches to work so I would like us to get away from that.

  • Thanks for the quick and easy meal. Will you teach how to make fast meals with good music in the background in under five minutes? Thanks again for you’re important information what ingredients are going in our food.

  • I’m going to America for the first time in March and I’ve requested to my bf that we have to go to trader joes… It’s your fault where can I sign up to the newsletter?? X

  • You have to read the ingredients when you buy Gluten-free I don’t care if it’s whole foods or trader Joe’s because they are full of garbage. The best option to eat healthy make it from scratch.
    Thank you Bobby!

  • Yeeesss omg. I’m starting my journey toward a healthier lifestyle. I’ve come to notice that certain foods just aren’t cutting it and make my body feel uncomfortable. And with the bloating thing, yes. Definitely trying to cut out a lot of that stuff. It gives me a hard time tbh lol excited nonetheless!! Thanks for the vids!

  • Rose is a sweetie pie and now learning more about the products from trader Joe’s I’m excited to try new stuff
Thanks for the insight and knowledge!

  • I would love to see what your kids have for lunch in an average week. We start homeschooling in August and I’m stumped on what to do everyday. My kids would live off nutella sandwiches if i let them, but i want to have more variety.

  • I have been using my slow cooker a lot to make breakfast casseroles, overnight steel cut oats. When you get up, breakfast is ready.  Thank you for the wonderful recipes.

  • The vegan chicken with seasoning is super Duper delicious it taste like the seasoning from Ramen packets I make Ramen a lot with it and it’s healthier because I make it gluten-free.

  • In related news, petitions have been presented to Trader Joe’s
in opposition to the store’s naming of ethnic foods like Trader José (Spanish)
and Trader Ming (Chinese).  Today, the
store announced that it will be changing these offensive brand names to Trader
    Spic and Trader Chink, respectively.

  • Bobby, you’re a game-changer in the public’s consumption of food. Now we just need more lawyers with morals and integrity in Washington:)

  • Hi Bobby. I’m a recently fan of your YouTube channel. Thank you so much for all the helpful information. I’m from Venezuela but living in New York now, I always shop in Trader Joe’s so thanks again for this tips. However, I have question since I’m making the transition to becoming vengan, I have notices some vegan products have a lot of sodium so, what is your opinion about the sodium? Cuz I think 450 mg per serving is like a lot .

  • My TJ’s doesn’t carry the tuna salad and I’m mad! Every time you show it in your video it looks so good. I guess it’s only in certain stores/regions?

  • I miss TJs so much I’m only able to go when I’m at my apartment but I’ve been in my hometown since the stay at home order began

  • Sam’s in Mexico has organic potato chips, however the oil is not the best but I buy them anyway. It is vegetable oil which I would think if claimed organic chips the oil has to be organic too, could be wrong.

  • I make a chorizo, egg, cheese, mushroom, and onion scramble for breakfast all the time. SO GOOD. Sometimes put it in a quesadilla if I have time and am feeling like treating myself

  • what the hell?? did you just say you are going to France??? have I been having a long nightmare that the world is ending? lol I hotta check out those traveling at home vids of yours

  • Love the Trader Joe’s meal prep ideas! Thank you, we always shop there and I’m always looking for low carb/ high protein meal ideas.

  • Hi Bobby I really like your at home hauls you are able to talk more and I think the negative side is you may have to purchase more of the crap that would normally just point out but this was a really quality haul so thank you!!!

  • I’ve been dealing with that exact same bloating issue too. One morning I woke up with the flattest tummy ever and I was like “wtf” but then I realized that as soon as i ate a bite of pretty much anything id start expanding uncomfortably and I still have no idea which foods cause it and which don’t >_<
So far I’ve got a hunch that dairy and gluten are problems but there’s more than just that. I’d love to know more about which specific foods are tried and true “safe” for you? I have a bit of anxiety around eating now because I always worry “what if I blow up”

  • Lmao I don’t know why that potato package said haricots verts on it as if that were some gourmet name it’s just french for green beans

  • Rose Behaves much much Better than AVERAGES CRAZY UNSTABLE ADULTS NOWADAYS that most Population by Consuming GMO food are all suffering with ADHD (without even knowing it in most “Cases”)

  • I just ordered your book. I can’t wait to get it!! Thanks for the recommendation on the water system too. I’m looking into that as well.

  • Hi!!! This is my first time watching your videos and I just gotta say, you’re super adorable and fun!!

You gotta try TJ’s high-protein veggie burger! It’s not the cheapest item (pricey for 2 patties) BUT they are made with quality ingredients and one pattie has TWENTY SIX grams of protein! You can make a super quick and very healthy dinner when you combine that with the cauliflower gnocchi!! And OH MY GOD!!! YOU GOTTA TRY THE SIRACHA RANCH if you haven’t already done so!! I usually drizzle that atop of the protein burger & it’s absolute heaven!!! Let us know when you try it!!

raids kitchen OH! Must have seasonings?!? The “21 Seasoning Salute”, “Everything but the bagel”, and garlic powder are all staples in my cooking regimen!!

ALSO (sorry, long post but I’m just excited lol) if you’re trying to shop smarter, Walmart has an EXCELLENT and very inexpensive selection of both fresh and frozen fruits and veggies. I love TJ’s but have found that their produce can be very pricey in comparison to other places.

    XO ♥️

  • I’ll have to look up your video on coffee to say more, but I must say I disagree with you on single-origin coffee beans being better if you blend well you get complimentary flavors and characteristics, my husband & I have been roasting our own coffee for years now, and we’ve found that some beans taste much better at different roasts, though I do agree that dark or city roasts are often done to cover-up for inferior beans, I can no longer go to “charbucks” for coffee as it’s known to most home roasters I know

  • Awesome! I prep for a family of five, two of which are teenage boys who eat like a family of five on their own. Love these healthy ideas. We are vegetarian, but love your videos. Thank you.

  • Yes please, share any ideas for healthy low carb breakfast/dinners and snacks. Also, do you meal prep anything for the kiddos at all??

  • Bobby, did you taste the popcorn? Yes healthy but God awful! Tiny little pieces, tons of hulls that get stuck in your teeth, bland taste.

  • One thing I have noticed about Walmart is is the store brand tend to have lest garbage in them not been to TJ’s muchclosest one is about 60 miles away

  • O how I wish we had a Trader Joe’s in my town! I have been asking Traders for so long but the closest one is more than 3 hours away. I second @Melissa Cadorette. You should have your own store with Bobby approved foods. I am not Paleo or Keto but I have making an effort to get better for you foods so I have been reading labels and asking myself “Would Bobby approve of this?”.

  • When you freeze bananas it naturally ripens and sweetens the banana, that’s why if you freeze a whole banana with the peel, it turns black

  • When I lived in Cali, I went to Trader Joe’s often. They don’t have a location here in Memphis yet, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

  • Wow I love how you improvised how you show us live Trader Joe’s items you’re picking up and then showing back at your kitchen counter. You can take your time reviewing the product without feeling rushed they might kick you out. Great job

  • GREAT video! . I really enjoyed watching and Rose is the cutest and such a happy little baby! This was my first time watching your channel but I’ll be a regular SUBSCRIBED ✅

  • What a great dad you are to include her in your work life…you are a great role model and I am guessing you must have had great parents. I hope I’m right. Love all the intel I get from your videos and books. Thanks so much for sharing and caring! Hashtag Keep on cooking Mad LOVE and Peace

  • Definitely true about the bananas! As they ripen, their starches convert into sugar so they soften and become sweeter. Also dying to know what things you’ve been hearing about baby carrots lately

  • Bobby, this is one of the better shopping haul videos that you have done and I really like that you showed us how to prepare one of the ingredients that I otherwise probably wouldn’t ever have considered trying. I still only eat beans or legumes once in a blue moon, but the risotto did look nice. It would be great if you could cook some of the things that you do in the hauls more often. Also, is that shopping list that you created just a list of ingredients to avoid or does it list each of these products that you have found that are healthy at say Trader Joe’s or Thrive Market. I avoid Trader Joe’s because I don’t really understand the store and I find it hard to shop there. A guide would be really helpful so I could whiz in and quickly know what to buy.

  • What about the raw cheese at TJs? It’s not organic or grassfed, but it isn’t pasteurized so I was thinking that would be better for those with lactose issues.

  • Hericot verts is just a fancy way for saying green beans! I think it’s like French or something but it’s pronounced something like “hair-co-ver”. We had them at a fancy restaurant I worked at lol

  • Do you even use your almond cow? I only bought mine because of you but regret buying. To anyone who reads this. Invest in a Vitamix and not in an almond cow.

  • I’ll be honest, I kinda miss the waldos. Lol. I do like the new way you’re doing the videos! I really enjoy listening to Rose talk. She is so cute and loves talking so much! I’m looking forward to watching her grow up on here. ❤ Can you do a video about your favorite Thrive Market staples? I’m low carb and just got a membership. Thanks!

  • Alyssia, you & your team are on point!  Great presentation, not overwhelming, all the info that I want…  I mean, this video is so PERFECT for me:)  Keep up the amazing work!!!!!

  • Stay home! Much better to stay home. Even on Social Security I have enough to last months. When I am dying for a salad I can use dandelions from the garden. They taste great tossed in lemon juice and olive oil!

  • Amazon on my crap list as well! Tripled his business and not treating his employees like slave labor and now cutting vendors money!??? We must find an alternative! Love these videos btw!

  • I find it hilarious that all these people are freaking out…. then go stand in a line for an hour next to complete strangers. Not social distancing! Lol. I’m glad you were finally able to get in the store. Keep doing what you’re doing, man!

  • Thumbs up on the chili potatoes and oatmeal cups. The dinner can a switched to breakfast too and prep a fruit salad as well. Was the avocado oil budgeted in the total or did you count it as something you already had one hand?

  • The closest trader joe’s to me when I’m at school is way too far for grocery shopping when I don’t have my car with me (in Philadelphia):( also for some reason the large and in charge banana comment was the funniest thing to me

  • Should wash your hands when you cook just to have good practice for handling foods special meat products I love your show thank you

  • So if it doesn’t say do you assume or do you know that something is 100 anything or what the animal is eating? Does it have to say say I guess my thing is does something have to constantly say what it is or isn’t something?? If it doesn’t specifically say how are you so sure it’s is or isn’t good??? I do understand what you are getting at, just wondering how you get to your conclusion without actually researching? What’s exactly is “Natural Flavors” and why are you saying it’s bad??? Learning is a good

  • Great video! As a fellow homeschool mom, I’m curious what your kiddos eat when you have this lunch? Do you eat at different times?

  • Nutritional yeast is fortified w/vitamins. One in particular is folic acid, check out on web. Some sites info link it to cancer namely breast cancer. Some breads/crackers etc are also fortified. Folate they say is the natural form of vitamin B.

  • I love this video! Would love to see you do a week’s food prep for a keto diet… and I would be very curious to see if you could do it for $30 but I suspect it would be more. Nonetheless would still love to see that. I am having a challenging time doing weekly prep on keto…

  • Everyone loves trader joes in New york I waited an hour and a half i thought i was getting there early enough for when the open but unfortunately everyone else had the same idea

  • The açaí bowls are so good BUT I highly recommend blending it. It’s chunky and tart and not very smoothie-ish if you eat it as it comes but it dramatically changes the flavor for the better if you blend it and then top it with the granola

  • I’m new here… Trader Joe’s is the only place I shop. Love the quality they offer, their helpfulness in finding items, their prices, and the general welcoming of the store. In these troubled times, it’s heartwarming to shop in such an atmosphere.

  • It would up the cost, of course, but fyi for peeps that don’t know and want to save time cooking and freezing the oats TJ’s makes frozen, pre-cooked steel cut oats! They’re in the breakfast freezer section near the frozen pancakes and hash browns, etc. There are two servings per box, and you literally take them out of the package, micro and eat. They are awesome!

Thanks for another great meal prep vid! I, too, adore TJs been shopping there since I was a teenager in Southern California 30 years ago!:)

  • I had the frittatas yesterday for the first time…I really liked them (I had not noticed the cauliflower, lol)  I did air fry them which made them realllllly yum.

  • I never feel like cookie mixes are worth it considering how much you pay versus how much it would cost to make a similar thing at home. I just can’t justify the cost. If you aren’t eating alternative flowers I’m sure it’s cheaper, but I would only buy one that is Paleo.

  • Hi Bob, love your vids, great job!
Tried the Trader Joe’s Risoni. Very disappointing. Cooked hard and pasty every time unfortunately. Had nothing to do with the bottle of Loire-Valley 2018 Vouvray that I guzzled like a Kennedy.
Who the hell cooks sober anyway. Bon Appetit my friend

Watch Out after Rose best Normal and Decent Behaviour!!

  • I have a video idea… Kind of..!
How to hide healthy foods. Example, I hate avocado. I just can’t eat it. But if I use it in a sauce for pasta or a dressing for salad, I can eat it no problem. It’d be a good video for people who want to eat healthy (which I’ll safely assume everyone here does) but has trouble with actually enjoying a lot of healthy ingredients. You can throw veggies into smoothies and sauces but I’d be curious of other ways your brilliant mind can come up with! (:

  • The chicken less nuggets or even the chicken breast nuggets that come in a blue packet, zhoug sauce for stir fries or salads, champagne gummies, they now have a three layer hummus that consists of original/ jalapeño/spicy, lavash bread is good for wraps for having with the hummus easy snack, their mochi is also great
    Loved the haul:)

  • what does “close to pasture-raised chicken” mean? a road could be close to a pasture, but I wouldn’t want to eat chicken grown there!

  • This was so helpful! I especially love how easy it was to put together with the TJ’s frozen items. Thank you for taking the time to video this, and I’d love to see more of these lunch preps lunch is always my hardest meal!

  • can you please speak on the benefits of having fresh coffee, is it just for the flavor or there any other benefits for fresh grinded coffee?

  • Same with the bloating!! I’ve really changed my diet recently (not dieting, just taking certain foods out) and I’ve been less bloated and also felt like I lost 20 pounds! It’s actually ridiculous…lol but I’m so happy I changed my diet and now just all around feel so much better!

  • For some reason, the consistency of chia pudding just makes me want to hurlIdk why. I keep trying to force myself to eat it because it’s so healthy but everytime my body says NOPE .

  • I hate that you use Rose as click bait. I know you love your daughter as anyone would but to use her to push your site is very wrong.

  • Yum! I love Trader Joe’s too! Yesterday I found a salad dressing there called Green Goddess dressing with no added sugar, hydrogenated oils, or other bad ingredients:D

  • You should try the riced cauliflower stir fry frozen package at Trader Joe’s. It has a few other healthy ingredients and great flavor.

  • omg i’m always bloated too but I feel like no matter what I eat I’m bloated immediately so am I intolerant to all the foods???? who knows

  • “budget Queen! Me too! I love it! Oatmeal cups, bean salsa and the granola are my favs. I am making the bean burritos tonight! I can’t wait for the veggie patty recipe in the newsletter I have been trying to make one that holds together well.. That news letter is amazing by the way! Please tell Nadia that I loved her inflammation write up!

  • Love the meal prep!! And Trader Joes! Some of my favourite products are their veggie patties you mentioned, these high protein veggie patties, their dried unsweetened mango and the chilli lime seasoning!

  • OKAY, what section of TJ’s is the tuna salad in? I’ve been looking for months when I go and can’t find it! I do realize I could ask an employee but I am simply too stubborn.

  • The onion and chive cream cheese is pretty much in my basket every single time I go to TJs. It’s really good as a pretzel dip. Not to mention on a bagel

  • I am prepared to be avalanched by hateful comments. I used to rely on comments for feedback on the recipes, ingredients and theories, some are convincing, some not. Now it’s all about Rose, which is not the point of this channel. She is adorable but I am here for information, not entertainment.

  • i picked up that cauliflower gnocchi today, can’t wait to try it… it was my first time shopping at trader joe’s and it is by far the best grocery store i’ve ever been to!! i literally will never grocery shop anywhere ever again

  • Went to Trader Joe’s yesterday to. Bought a lot of the same items as you did. Was nice to see the store fully stocked. Stood in line in the rain. So worth it:))
