PREPARATION. 1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, egg, salt, and pepper, mixing until evenly combined.. 2. Heat the canola oil in a pot over medium-high heat. Man, rockstar used to be my personal favorite energy drink until one fateful day. 1 can was left at the gas station. Slightly dented, but still looked safe to consume. Purchased and headed to the school parking lot. Drank about 3 quarters of the drink and it tasted normal. Suddenly I tasted something I shouldn’t have. Something solid. I opened my car door and spit out my mouthful in shock and disgust. In the puddle, lay, I shit you not, a small chunk of white bread. How it got in there will forever be a mystery to me, but I haven’t drank a rockstar since.

I made the chicken fajita pasta tonight. It was a hit. DELISH! I decreased the milk from 5 cups to 4 cups and it was perfect. It made a LOT of pasta. Will be eating from now until the end of time. LOL
I use a crock pot…1 hour on HIGH (this is a small 1.5 Q) great! Liquid (Sauce/water just enought to get to the to the the dry pasta, with the rest of the ingredients on top…onion, mushrooms, zucchini or eggplant etc! Depending on the water in the veg chosen, the pasta may come out mushy, but who cares? Easy and delicious. You can adjust the liquid added as you want..
Can you omit the mushrooms completely, or do u recommend adding a different veggie in there? I wasn’t sure if it would mess with the consistency to leave out a cup or whatever the measurement is of a veggie

I feel like regular (wheat) pasta produces a gummy texture to the sauce when used in one pot recipe. Also there’s a weird flavour to the sauce? I mean, there’s a reason why it’s recommended to use flour in a roux if you want to thicken things, instead of creating a slurry by combining flour + water flour cooks better in fat rather than liquid (water, soup etc)
Would you please do allergy free recipe playlist? Things like allium, nightshade free? (I’m always on the lookout for a quick and easy nomato sauce but they’re a lot of work). It’s actually quite interesting to learn about how people can be sensitive to certain compounds in food such as salicylates, lectins or amines.
I used to shy away from one pot pastas since mine always turned out gluey, but I found a recipe for “chickn”, pasta, bbq sauce, and Rotel…that really worked and was very tasty (i. e. there were few leftovers)! So, now i’m a convert. Your recipe looks good and I’ll try it the next time I have a pasta craving. I think the name one pot pasta comes from putting the needed ingrediants all at once without too many cooking steps,, only few of the above recipes matched this definition
I truly don’t understand the one pot pasta obsession. Making the sauce in one pot and properly cooking pasta in a different pot only with water and salt makes virtually the same mess (the second pan is good with just a rinse) plus you can cook extra sauce and save it for another occasion
Maybe you can help me out. I lived the avocado pasta dish, but the nutrition facts panel listed this entire recipe as one serving for 300 calories. Am I reading that wrong? 4 ounces of whole wheat spaghetti alone is around 350 calories plus half an avocado which on the average adds another 100 calories. Your recipes are wonderful but I’m confused about your nutrition facts.

This is a very bad one-pan-pasta video. The whole point of one-pan recipes is to save on the dishes afterwards. If you have to take stuff out to drain or cook something else, you have to add dishes. Every pasta can be a one-pan pasta if you wish to mix all the stuff when it’s ready. A one-pan recipe = throw all this stuff in and cook it, no draining, it’s ready when everything is cooked.
Not only did the recipe look great but the colours in the intro and exit sit down clips are so satisfying. Caitlin your production quality and down to earth character (as well as the food ) continue to be some of the reasons why I love your channel, keep up the good work!

Super recipe. I used the BBQ chicken breast leftovers only. I also cooked in my ninja multi-pot for 10 min on the low-pressure cook for 10 min and 4 min grilled the cheese on top. All really came amazing!
Sooo I made the Swedish meatball one it’s definitely good but my milk curdled because I had the heat too high it reminds me of hamburger helper and it has enough flavor that you can probably do without the cheese at the end

Man, rockstar used to be my personal favorite energy drink until one fateful day. 1 can was left at the gas station. Slightly dented, but still looked safe to consume. Purchased and headed to the school parking lot. Drank about 3 quarters of the drink and it tasted normal. Suddenly I tasted something I shouldn’t have. Something solid. I opened my car door and spit out my mouthful in shock and disgust. In the puddle, lay, I shit you not, a small chunk of white bread. How it got in there will forever be a mystery to me, but I haven’t drank a rockstar since.

I made the chicken fajita pasta tonight. It was a hit. DELISH! I decreased the milk from 5 cups to 4 cups and it was perfect. It made a LOT of pasta. Will be eating from now until the end of time. LOL
Is the pasta precooked or do you just throw it in straight from the bag and cook it in the sauce? That would save SOOOOOOO much time!
I use a crock pot…1 hour on HIGH (this is a small 1.5 Q) great! Liquid (Sauce/water just enought to get to the to the the dry pasta, with the rest of the ingredients on top…onion, mushrooms, zucchini or eggplant etc! Depending on the water in the veg chosen, the pasta may come out mushy, but who cares? Easy and delicious. You can adjust the liquid added as you want..
Add milk to a tomato and/or meat based pasta sauce? Why sooooo much processed cheese!? WTH… These recipes would offend most pasta dishes lovers. ♀️
Can you omit the mushrooms completely, or do u recommend adding a different veggie in there? I wasn’t sure if it would mess with the consistency to leave out a cup or whatever the measurement is of a veggie

Caitlin, can I give you a vegan challenge recipe to try? Arancini. Now, in Sicily, the Arancini are large as “oranges” in size. And normally rice with tomato sauce and egg, stuffed with meat, cheese and peas. Then breaded in Italian bread crumbs and deep fried. Maybe a vegan, healthier version, yes? Thanks
This would be a million times more flavourful if you sautéed the veg in OIL first, then added the tomatoes + pasta. This is a wet boiled average tasting dish when it could be a lot better
