  • ohhh! I enjoyed video a lot. \it answered some of my questions I am having currently and some of your words opened new perspectives and I found myself in your description of perfectionist. I was feeling that this habit of me was putting me back and now after your tipss new ideas came to me that wow I can try this approach and it will work to improve my life.:)))
may your soul and brain be blessed.

  • thank you for the advice,i am trying really hard to stick my meal plan, but always fail, after seeing your video,i am gonna give a try again!

  • I’m absolutely loving your videos. Found you a few days ago and I’ve been watching them all. You have such a calming tone to your voice, and such good tips.:)
I was just wondering, I always thought it was only Type 2 diabetes that is preventable? And Type 1 was not?

  • I know a big thing now is childhood obesity, and since they’re still developing it’s a catch 22 on howbto go about them losing weight. I’m living with a coworker and their daughter is overweight but she’s only 12 and isn’t a “woman” yet so that’s still developing too. Do you have some tips on how to handle childhood or adolescent obesity, overweight, or in danger of it?

  • I have GERD and IBS, I can’t eat dairy most of the time, can’t eat spicy, sour and oily/junk food, only low gluten and can’t even eat chocolate. (What can I eat on my period?!) I can’t eat most of the food outside of my house so I have no choice but cooking myself, I’ve lost like 4kg (8lbs) in the past month and boy it’s a struggle. I guess it’s motivating me since I wanted to lose weight anyway, but it’s sad that I have to give up ice cream and chocolate as well. (Dairy-free yogurts are amazing tho)

  • For me personally, I’m not sure if I will ever be fully ‘recovered’, and I feel okay with that. I no longer restrict my eating or make myself sick, but the ED mindset/thoughts can rear up during times of stress. I just remind myself not to be complacent and be aware if the thoughts do crop up

  • The hardest part of losing body fat is motivation. I am not over Weight but if I am not motivated I lose interest and get depressed then go off the wagon. thanks for all your videos and I am already doing must of what you are sharing which I learned over the years and just wished someone would put it in a video many years ago. Lol Have a great weekend and stay bless!

  • 7:30 “Progress not perfection.” These are words I have tried to live by whilst trying to pick up a second language, and I even have a homemade poster with this saying hanging up in my classroom. However, as a bonafide perfectionist, I find it incredibly hard. This is pretty sad because I teach ESOL for a living and this is what I both want and get from my students; children that are always willing to give things a try, even when they can’t do them perfectly. I’m incredibly hard on myself in this regard. This is a good reminder for all aspects of my life! I’m really enjoying listening to your videos while doing housework, so thank you!!

  • Also guys, if you’re masturbating please use safe lubricants, not hand creams and other stuff. About the menstruation part I can happily say that I use cotton reusable pads for 3 months now and they are awesome. I got them from amazon and they’ll last me years. When one gets bloody I rinse the blood and dry it and when the whole period is over throw every pad in the washing machine at 90degrees. Works wonders, feels like a cloud on your vaginas, doesn’t leak (and I have heavy flow) and doesn’t smell bad like the always pads. Plus eco friendly cause zero waste. Hope it helps

  • You have to try this

My favorite milkshake with icecream ✌️

Chose you favorite icecream (magnum or cornetto or other icecream you like)

And then you put a little bit of milk and nesquik in a blender you can also put a little bit of nutella in there☺️ then put your icecream in it and blend it you can do the cornetto in a cup and mix it with a spoon. Then put your milkshake in a glass/cup and put some wipped cream and chocolate sauce on it and then its time to drink yummm yummm

  • I don’t think I have a true eating disorder, I like food and actually want to gain a few pounds, but I HATE actually eating and chewing. It’s very annoying and I have no desire to do it. I also rarely ever have an appetite and when I do, I dread actually having to eat . I’ve been this way since I was a little girl. I’ll only be hungry like twice a day which isn’t enough for me. I’m trying to find ways to make myself have a healthier relationship with eating but ugh it’s annoying and I hate it.

  • Some caramel is made with milk, cocoa mix contains dry milk, whipped cream is made with dairy cream, white chocolate often contains milk, and the last recipe is fine. What is the point of making a video titled dairy free when a majority of the recipes contain dairy…

  • #KatiFAQ Hi, Kati! I wanted to know how to change your username on the site (the one that’s “@insert name here“)? I’ve tried several times to change it from “@celia” to “@cece”, but it hasn’t worked. Am I doing something wrong? Thank you! XOXO

  • I agree that we cannot force ourselves to be perfect all the time. Sometimes I ate a piece of cake and that makes me feel that the whole day is not perfect, so I will allow myself to eat more unhealthy food on that day because it is already not perfect. After watching your video I find that probably I should change my mind and try to just enjoy every small slack action I took. That would really be helpful and I hope I could do better in living a healthy life.

  • For anorexia recovery, specifically for adults (there is some swearing in the book, btw) Rehabilitate, Rewire, Recover! By Tabitha Farrar is very helpful for me.

  • If your discharge was a light creamy color and then it changes to a more pale yellow color after being on birth control should you worry? Is it even the birth controls fault?

  • Kimba…SOS!! I have 6 cucumber plants that were grown from seed, in the ground for a month and BAM, the leaves were so ravaged by bugs that they are opaque (can see light through the leaves). I finally got the correct product, my question is if most or even all the leaves are gone (most still have a few leaves, they’re just 6″-12″ tall) on each plant, are they already dead or can they recover from the roots if the aphids are gone? I don’t want to keep caring for plants preparing to die, I’ll replant the bed. Thank you my friend.

  • can you talk about how eating disorders are competitive? and how watching the wrong videos and following the wrong people can be dangerous? i’m happy to have found your channel.

  • Don’t keep candy or soda in your home. Make your own pizza and desserts!!! Only have desserts at special times of the year. Having to bake for yourself will curb eating too many sweets. Having to make pizza forces you eat less and appreciate more.

  • The hardest part for me is taking the time to go grocery shopping when I get close to running out of major ingredients. Working 40+ hours a week and going to school full-time as well makes any free-time I have to do it end up being lazing about time. It takes a lot of motivation to work me up to get out and get the groceries I need.

  • I’m pregnant and have had an issue with bulimia for 7 years. I’m a healthy weight now but I constantly slip back into it, randomely. It has caused rosacea on my cheeks, hair loss, chest pains. I want to stop. I’m finally ready to not even think of that as an option anymore. This is hard.

  • Every time I try recovery and start to eat I get sooooo uncomfortably bloated I look 5 months pregnant and in pain. I always end up not eating again because of the painfully bloated stomach. Not to mention my digestive tract goes haywire and I feel like nothing will move through me. It doesn’t seem to matter what I eat just as soon as I eat more I’m painfully bloated and I hate this feeling. I’m in bed all day. How to help the bloating is my question.

  • My hardest part is that I sometimes have pretty strong impulses that are difficult rot challenge.
Another one is that I am a recovering sugar addict) I made so much progress on my relationship with sugar, but occasionally I go through periods where staying away can be veery challenging.

  • I LOVE Ezekiel’s English muffins! Like you, I love the comfort of my morning routine. If you want to kick it up a notch, here is how I enjoy my Ezekiel’s muffin in the morning. Once my English muffin is toasted, I rub a clove of garlic on it…it smells heavenly! Instead of butter, I opt for 1/2 of an avocado, a 7-minute medium boiled egg on top of that and then Himalayan pink salt for trace minerals, turmeric a natural cancer fighter, cayenne for the spice of life, and voilà, a healthy, satiating, scrumptious start to the day. I hope you enjoy it!! ☕️

  • Wow this video literally was like you were speaking to me! I have lost a lot of weight but really have lost a lot of motivation lately and my daughter is my driving factor to get back to my healthy lifestyle. Also, I get bad anxiety and depression when I eat sugar. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️

  • Ya it gonna get in the triple digits all north California we are on a RV trip and we already been to Santa Cruz now we are camping in Fresno and we are going to drive to sequoia national park today to see the biggest tree in the world and my friend are helping with the garden.

  • The hardest part for me is having people in my life that don’t eat healthy. Yes, I still cave when I am on my own but it’s not as bad then. It makes me want to become a hermit. I also beat myself up even after just indulging a little. I am trying to break that habit.

  • Ria, I live your videos… they make me feel like a friend is talking to me and I also love that you add your personal experience to the advice you give. Thanks for the effort and the great job!

  • I am trying new recipes to cook at home. I’d like to know what you eat on a regular basis?
Also what is your skin care routine? Your skin looks so beautiful.
Oh yeah, your makeup is flawless too. maybe a makeup tutorial.

  • The problem with me is that I’m a picky eater, if I see something that I don’t like (even if it’s something little) I won’t eat the whole thing, but I’m not giving up!!!

  • I found your channel tonight, so I am late to the comment party, but I find the hardest part of continually cooking healthy is that I am cooking for one. I enjoy finding new recipes to try on Pinterest or from cookbooks at the library, but often a recipe serves 6-8. I get super sick of eating the same foods on repeat and have limited refrigerator/freezer space. I really don’t care to waste my time trying to figure out how to cut a recipe in half, especially if there are more than eight ingredients (that’s the lazy talking) so, sometimes, buying something for dinner on my way home is just easier. I have been commuting 140 miles a day for my job so I that has been a huge time waster too. I’m in the middle of moving closer to work so i’m hoping I’ll be more motivated to cook for myself again.

  • hello, hello! new subscriber here watching from the Philippines Thank you so much for such an inspiring contents ✨ More power!

  • Hi I just found your channel. And I think it might help me a lot. I started making a list for my motivating factors on why I want to live a healthier lifestyle. And then I realized what it was: I want to live my best life possible. I have struggled with depression and severe anxiety and doctors have always said that a healthier lifestyle (exercise, eating healthy) would help me with my moods. And it would help me live the best life that I can so I don’t ever feel like my life is worthless anymore. I don’t know if that might be other people’s motivating factors but I thought I’d put it out there for other viewers like me to think about.

  • I’m new to your channel. You mentioned on of the struggles I have and that is “falling off the wagon”. If I eat something that I see as bad for me on Thursday, then the diet is off until Monday. Your advice of not trying to be perfect helps a lot. Thank you for this informative video. I’ve struggled with weight gain my entire life and now I am at a life time high well not really, I’ve lost 21lbs since last summer. I could have done better, but I’ll celebrate even the smallest victories. I’ve started an exercise program, I’ve started food journaling again, so hopefully I’ll be more successful. Thanks for your tips.

  • Great information! You are so patient & encouraging for all new gardeners.
Here in Seattle, the weather is so mild that my lettuce hasn’t bolted yet!

However, this weekend, high 90s weather is predicted! Guess I need to buy some shade cloth.

  • From 500 to 228K you are smashing ittttttt! I’m a new subscriber but I’m in awe of your videos and tend to binge watch when I really need an extra positivity boost and I am very much grateful for all the content you produce and how you take time out of your day to provide this content for us! Thank you, keep being you ♥️

  • I found your channel a few months ago when I started attending counselling sessions and it has really helped me. I have always suffered from anxiety but a few years ago it started affecting my relationship with food. I still don’t fully know why it happened but I started to feel like I had a lump in my throat and became fearful of choking on my food. This eventually meant that I started restricting my food intake and lost a lot of weight. When I first started going to counselling sessions I genuinely thought I didn’t have an eating disorder, however, since watching your ED videos I have started to realise that I actually do. This realisation has enabled me to start getting better and deal with the irrational fear that has controlled my life for far too long. Thank you for your informative and supportive videos:) x

  • The problem with me is that I’m a picky eater, if I see something that I don’t like (even if it’s something little) I won’t eat the whole thing, but I’m not giving up!!!

  • can you talk about how eating disorders are competitive? and how watching the wrong videos and following the wrong people can be dangerous? i’m happy to have found your channel.

  • I’m scared to come out to having an eating disorder to my mom and friends. I live with my mom still (I’m a kid) and she notices that I don’t eat breakfast or lunch. I always tell her I’m not hungry but she can tell there is something more. I’m forcing myself to eat now because I don’t want to see my mom so heartbroken when she hears the words hat I have an eating disorder. Now I am eating a little dinner and chocolate chip cookies which is the hardest thing to do in the day. I’m motivated by the fact that I want to live my life. I can’t see my therapist anymore because they aren’t doing online calls so it’s been even more hard. Sorry I just needed to rant

  • Pls pls help me, i want to recover from my eating disorder.

I always think about food literally whole day. When i first woke up and even before sleep. What should i do? I am so obsessed with food. I ate what i want today and yesterday just like what some video says but I think i’m just binging.
I want to end my life. I am not like this before. I really miss myself.

    I need your help guys!!

  • I’ve told my friends about it bit i will never tell my family. It’s shameful and I don’t want to disappoint them. Telling my friends about it made it a bit better. Even though i haven’t purged for months, the voice of bulimia is still there.
I am recovering on my own. I wrote poems just to get my feelings out and tried to fix my relationship with food by eating freely.

  • Hi! Can you do a video on how you plan your week to make sure you n the family gets all meals per day? I mean do you cook everyday or once a week and tips on how you save the food etc.. I’m trying to plan for my family to provide home made meals including breakfast, lunch, dinner n snacks in between but it’s hard especially for working moms, your tips will be greatly appreciated if you could share 1 week of your food planning. By the way, I fell in love with your personality. You are an absolute inspiration.

  • You are one of the most positive people I have listened to on YT. With all the negative going back and forth between people pushing their own agendas you are a refreshing source of encouragement, thank you.

  • #KatiFAQ I don’t know if you’ve covered this before but I finally was able to get a therapy appointment scheduled but it’s in a few months from now! How do I “hold on” until then and still be able to manage things like school? Being depressed I feel like I can barely do anything, so I was wondering if you knew some basic tips on how to not completely lose myself while I wait?

  • I wanna share my story here.
I hope you want to read it:)

I think I have an eating disorder since 7-8 years ago, when I graduated from HS. I was fat, with BMI 31,25 which is obesity grade 2 for asian people. When I was 18 y.o, I realized it isn’t health and I was tired of body shaming. So I began to diet to lose weight. But I overdo it. I wanna be health with unhealthy way (it doesn’t make sense anw. Haha). I just ate once a day. We, Indonesian people, always eat with rice 3 meals a day at least, but I just took 1 meals a day only with vegetable and chicken or fish, no rice. If I eat more than that, I would throw up on purpose. I consumed diet pills. Until I lost weight with BMI 21.8 in the third year of collage. But in those times, I knew that my way of losing weight is really unhealthy. Moreover, I was in medical school. So in those years I began to eat more than 1 meal for a day. I began to eat 2 meals for a day. But still without rice. I just eat vegatable chicken or eggs or some fishes. I try not to throw it up. It’s hard but I can. I keep it like that, sometimes I eat snack too. Then I try to eat with rice, but I gained weight again. So I stop eat rice for awhile. And my habbit coming back again. I forbid my self not to eat it, even when I get sick from typhoid and DHF, I forbid my self for eating as I should. So I got hospitalized. I knew I was being persistent for a bad thing.
Since I got sick like that when I was a co-assistant for getting my tittle as a GP, I trid to change my habbit. I gain weight, with BMI 24,0. But I try not to distract by it. I try not to overthink it. The important thing is I am healthy and can get the tittle in times.

I am a GP now. I’m still struggling with this, but I tried to change my habbit. I can eat rice now, althought not every meals I eat rice. Sometimes just vegetables and chicken. I am not as strict as before. Because in 7-8 years I strugling with this, I experienced side effects (can we call it complication?) Of this eating disorder. Like my teeth became rotten and I have a palpitation (missing some beats) sometimes.

I don’t try to throw up again when I eat more than I should. But sometimes, I still do it when my period comes or when I force to eat dinner. I actually don’t want to throw up, but I feel so anxious and it makes me nausea, then I vomit it. And I feel relieved after doing that, but in the same time I feel guilty.

I think I have a PMDD too (I know although I am a GP, I can’t self-diagnosed), I don’t know it’s a side effect of my eating disorder or not, but my PMS was gotten worse for 2-3 years. My physical complaints from headache to whole body ache, My mood swing for 10-14 days in a month, can’t concentrate, I don’t wanna do anything, I get depressed, sometimes with suicidal idea, like “I just wanna die right here right now. I’m tired of living life even though I just woke up” (even though I know it’s wrong). And the problem with my eating disorder, I eat a lot when I’m in my pms, I eat nonstop, I gain weight. And the same times, my anxiety of having weight gain, makes me always throwing up after I eat. I feel so guilty at the same time, I cry, but I’ll do it again.
Eating a lot anxious vomit guilty crying eating again.

Now, this is what I’m still fighting against. It really is hard to recover without some profesional. I can change my habbit but not all of it so I think I too need some help from psychiatrist. But, I’m still looking for a good psychiatrist for me.

And that’s my story. Sorry for my bad english.
    Love your contents, katty

  • Ive been.having UTI for over 6 years. Gone to all doctors, but they keep giving me antibiotics. Also swollen stomach from bleeding hemorrhoids for over 1 year. Im taking a probiotics. Help. Seen urologist 2x, gastrioligist 2x, internal doctor. Help

  • For me i have been mentally preparing for the recovery, nobody knows about it tho. I have tried SO MANY TIMES but it comes back too fast and i relapse and then im worse…

  • Scary coincidence is that my biggest motivator is same as yours! My mom’s side of the family have diabetes; even my grandma who didn’t die because or diabetes still has the disease. My mom is borderline but we both have a sweet tooth unfortunately,

  • when I was trying to start with balanced diet, I had a major struggle with sweet tooth, but I just managed with a sweet smoothie, or any healthy sweet dish in moderate amount with some dates or raisins. As like amaranth seeds and dates smoothie, it satisfies my cravings and I can stick with my healthy diet style.

  • Hi Ria, I find your videos very informative and motivating. I have gone from being married with two children to being on my own and needing to make sure I can stay healthy and independent long term. I tend to eat out of boredom and emotionally. Any and all tips would be gratefully appreciated.

  • The thing is it’s not helpful when you watch this and you want to eat those dairy-free. Two of three recipes weren’t. And yes you could thing of a way yourself but then they should name the video differently. The thing is that nearly no thought went into the video and that is sad, especially because they can do so much better. I mean they proved it….

  • I’m trying to recover from A Binge Disorder. I exercise everyday to try & not gain. At first I had Anorexia but all of that resulted in binge. @bmmrv on Instagram if you want to talk

  • I’ve been using healthy meal plans for a few weeks now and it has become my life saver!! I love it so much, it’s so easy to use, the calorie counts is so useful and the grocery list is perfect and you can custom it too! I would recommend it to everyone, it’s so much easier and faster to make you meal plan and grocery list with it!! Thank you so much for this amazing tool!!! xxx

  • I’m really trying to recover it’s so hard. I’ve tried doing it by myself and then developed bulimia on top of my anorexia and so I’m trying to find a place to get help.

  • I’ve been making smoothies with kale and chard as you recommended, CaliKim!
I wish I could direct seed… but something always eats my emerging seedlings!! So I start indoors, even when it’s sunny and warm outside.

  • My eating disorder wasn’t that bad it only lasted for like a month, I low key recovered but I and I’m happy but i kinda want it back.

  • I went through all that and recovered about two years ago without my parents or doctor ever knowing. Sadly, I got really good at lying. Please, if you can, do what Kati said and see your doctor. I had to make my willpower work in the opposite direction and force myself to eat a reasonable amount. I also watched YouTube documentaries to scare myself into recovering. It was scary, but I got really lucky because it worked, even though I relapsed once. I was too scared to tell anyone until just last year, and then I told someone I trust for safety in case I relapsed again. I haven’t. I am so glad that more people have resources like this channel so they don’t have to be completely alone. Thanks, Kati, for all you do.

  • I understand wanting sponsors, but if you are going to promote a “health” product you have a duty to list the negative effects too. For some people B-12 supplements (even bioavailable B12) can cause extreme irritability. Also, I have no idea how you can feel good promoting melatonin as “non habit forming” since people who use it regularly can desensitize themselves to their own hormones and will need larger and larger doses of the drug or they will be unable to sleep without it. Perhaps “habit forming” to you means addictive, but for the average consumer a drug is “habit forming” if a user cant stop taking it once they start.

  • I would HIGHLY recommend anything by brene brown but I did just finish her book The Gifts of Imperfection and it was honestly groundbreaking for my recovery! It is an incredible read for anyone, but especially those who struggle with mental health! Thanks again for all you do Kati:)

  • Hi calikim may i say i hope you dont mind me saying you have beautifull eyes i love your videos always look forward to them to give me ideas here in the u.k.

  • If I told my family I feel like they would not understand and Judge me… I’m so terrified but I know if I don’t get help now then it will be worse

  • Idk if i have an eating disorder tbh. My weight is healthy but I have all the other symptoms and I hate it, so I’m not sure if I even deserve to recover at this weight and just ughhh it’s so fucking confusing

  • caramel has dairy, whipped cream has dairy, and cocoa mix usually has milk -_title is misleading…..I’m lactose intolerant so sorry for the frustration lol BUT IT SUCKS:'(

  • Hey Ria, thanks for the video. I find healthy eating not that difficult but then again I do enjoy cooking always have and I enjoy eating even more. It might have smt to do w/ my mom being a good and happy cook.

  • Hi, I was wondering if you could do a video
directed towards teens trying to seek help and how to get help on their own. You videos have saved my life in a literal way. Thank you so much!!

  • thx for this awesomely ha bisky vid and for me its my depression but i think i have a hold on it right now i cant afford meds so i have to do it without pills or anything like that its election time so i am supposed to be worse then ever but i am not i am certain we will get sanders so i am feeling pretty fine

  • Aw I just felt so happy when you said you have 500 subscribers so gratefully. You now have 125k girl, killing it. I am late to the party, just discovered your channel and watching all the videos with a notebook and pen in hand <3

  • Kati, I want to thank you so much for all of your videos. I had a pretty rough childhood that only got worse with time. Long story short, I recently went to a therapy intensive for two weeks that completely changed my life. Like you, they were so understanding, soft spoken, and willing to strongly nudge me in the right direction. It was very difficult to discuss certain things, but they were just so empathetic. I love to help other and that’s a large part of why I’m heading into the medical field. After the intensive I almost want to become a therapist.
Midway through my second week I became terrified that I wouldn’t end up maintaining everything I had learned and improved about my emotional health. They helped me develop a plan to ensure I would continue in the right direction as well as what to do if I started slipping. I chanced upon your videos, and am now hooked. I’ve added your videos to my list of things to keep me in the right frame of mind. I plan to watch several videos a day until I have watched them all, yeah that will take a while. I hope (know) that your videos will keep me positive and planted in good emotional health until it becomes second nature to me. Thank you again, Seth

  • #KatiFAQ where do you get the courage and motivation to get help. It’s easy to say if your having problems go see someone but every time I’ve come close I’ve always put it off and said that I can deal with it on my own.

  • I’m obsessed with the Skinny Pop white cheddar. I’m like Houdini if I open a bag. Oh and sweet cherries too!!! You look like a picture of health so whatever you’re doing is working.

  • For anorexia recovery, specifically for adults (there is some swearing in the book, btw) Rehabilitate, Rewire, Recover! By Tabitha Farrar is very helpful for me.

  • Whenever I think of food or smell it even being near it I feel sick like throwing up even tho there is nothing to throw up. I always feel faint and nauseous I want to recover but I can’t even eat because I know I won’t stop myself from throwing up if I do eat.

  • Number 4 is where I struggled the most: progress, not perfection..
    Thank-you for this…
I think I can get rid of my perfectionist attitude now (in eating)…

Thank-you so much again.. keep up the good videos like that ❤️

  • Hi Dominique I really enjoy your videos. I can tell you are a pro and a wonderful women. I haven’t watch all your video’s yet. One that I did watch you shared a book you highly recommended. It was “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young I order it for my Kindles the same day. I love this book. It’s a good way to start my day. I am disabled with an Autoimmune disease and several other problems. I am telling you this because this will give you some insight in to why I love this book. Can I make a suggestion? I would like it if you could share book(s) every month. I know a woman like yourself would read some nourishing books.

  • Hi from Vienna,
How do you avoid umm’s and aahs in your videos. I love the way you speak. Do you think this is something that everyone can learn? If yes how? Thank you!!!

  • #KatiFAQ Hi, Kati! I wanted to know how to change your username on the site (the one that’s “@insert name here“)? I’ve tried several times to change it from “@celia” to “@cece”, but it hasn’t worked. Am I doing something wrong? Thank you! XOXO

  • Music soothes my soul. Whenever I start feeling stressed, I pull out my guitar, sing and forget all of the craziness. Isolation is the perfect time to learn to play or improve your playing, writing songs, etc. Playing music, painting, drawing, writing… anything creative is much better than any medication. Thanks for sharing your insights and wisdom.

  • do you cook the broccoli first? I loved these recipes and going to do all of them. Thanks for sharing.Oh just saw you did post recipe so saw it was not cooked.

  • hi Kim! thank you for your imofrmative videos they are so helpful for beginners like me. i am using Container only/smart pots and they are great for my small patio! if at some point you can show how you remove plants when youve planted too many in one pot, or maybe u already have a video on that? it would be really great. i dont want to damage the roots and not sure how to go about it….. keep up the great work, your Garden is so BEAUTIFUL!!! thank you kitie

  • Could you recommend an alternative potting mix to Good Dirt? Good Dirt is not readily available from the
big box stores on the east coast and the shipping costs for Good Dirt make it very expensive. Thanks.

  • i did it, its been 1 month i gained weight. i ate too much ( no binging )! i never knew its easy. you just have to fight hard and WANT to recover.

  • When considering eating healthy, you have to never fall victim to modern fad diet plans. Extreme diets are a risk for your health, especially ones that seriously restrict your daily nutritionary intake. While they may induce fast weight loss, these diets are never a long-term answer for your waistline. It is best to check out Custokebon Secrets on google search engine since it is not just another fad diet where you starve yourself.

  • It’s gonna hit 100 all week up here! My mustard greens don’t seem to mind the heat. I love how you highlight heat tolerant varieties!

  • I’M growing, romaine, peas, Broccolini, Trying Kale again to see if we like it after a frost, and more radish! Unless the squirrels destroy my potted plants again!:-( Even have onions still growing! They seem to be happy for now! weird year, everything is slow on the growth.

  • Can you do a video talking about Binge Eating Disorder? I have it and it makes me feel terrible every day, but the only time anyone mentions bingeing is in relation to bulimia or purging, which I have been able to keep myself from doing. It is hard to find information on this disorder, can you help?

  • The hardest part for me is taking the time to go grocery shopping when I get close to running out of major ingredients. Working 40+ hours a week and going to school full-time as well makes any free-time I have to do it end up being lazing about time. It takes a lot of motivation to work me up to get out and get the groceries I need.

  • Thanks so much! Glad to see you can fit so much in a 5 gallon bucket! I am really loving my smart pots, they make a huge difference!!! I have learned so much from you and the rusted garden!

  • I feel like I was just made fun of. It’s like telling me “here, you can have it…nah, joking, you can’t”
Not only is there milk in whipped cream but also in the cocoa mix, it’s powdered but it’s there! As well as in the caramel and the white chocolate.

  • Hey Kimba, I have a new problem I don’t know how to address, squirrels are taking out ripe tomatoes every day this week, including some 3 feet off the ground! I have a Jack Russell that will chase them off, but it’s too hot to have her patrolling and I won’t harm squirrels, is there any way to slow what they’re doing? I don’t know what kind of physical barrier would keep a squirrel from climbing into my tomato beds, are there plants that have an odor they hate? Anything I can spray on that won’t harm them or my plants? Thanks my friend. 107 today, real feel of 111!

  • Triple digits her in Dallas Texas until Monday or Tuesday ☀️ I got your heat tolerant greens and all are doing well Kim I am covering them for these extra hot days

  • I am trying new recipes to cook at home. I’d like to know what you eat on a regular basis?
Also what is your skin care routine? Your skin looks so beautiful.
Oh yeah, your makeup is flawless too. maybe a makeup tutorial.

  • My main challenge is eating too many sweets. But if I completely cut them out, I’ll feel deprived and then I’ll binge on them. So I’m trying to allow myself a small treat about once a week, maybe more, and that keeps me from feeling deprived and then binging.

  • Amazing Video, Kim!! I started some romaine in the shade in mid to late Juneberries and they have sprouted, but are still seedlings and have not grown in forever. Any reason why they are not growing? Thanks a ton for the help!

  • Hi Kim. This is Sharon from Virginia Zone 7a. I grow most of my greens in my raised bed. However, my lettuce seems to do much better indoors in my Aerogarden. I’m growing Parris Island, Black Seeded Simpson and Deer Tongue lettuce indoors. Happy Gardening! I love your videos!

  • Hah!! Try our heat in Australia!! Last year we hit 47 degrees celsius!! Dreading summer this year!! LOL!! Water water water!! LOL!!

  • Your quickly becoming my favorite vlogger…learning so much from your videos.  Have you ever tried Flackers?  Just heard about them and was wondering if your familiar with them.  Thank you for all you do!

  • Hey dear, I’m new to your channel
I found that this was helpful I’ve always wanted to cut out junk foods and start eating healthy. Loved it

  • Hi Ria. I think my biggest struggle is if I don’t track or think about what I’m eating, I will get into the habit of eating junk more often than I’d like to admit, but when I track my food, I start to become obsessive and worried about every little thing I eat. How can I find a healthy balance?

  • Hi Kim! Hope you are doing well! Sorry I haven’t been in the live streams lately….getting back to work has been stressful. My garden is doing amazing. I am very thankful for your seeds and tips. Your garden is looking amazing.

  • hello, hello! new subscriber here watching from the Philippines Thank you so much for such an inspiring contents ✨ More power!

  • #KatiFAQ Hi Kati, how can CBT help with anxiety if you can’t link the anxious feelings with a negative thought pattern. A lot of times I just feel anxious for no reason.

  • All those treats look awesome! But im confused as to how people thought this was dairy free. Not hating on anyone I guess I just missed that part.

  • Yesterday,☺️I just discovered this video and I just realized that I had Bulimia Eating Disorder. And as a curious teenager I decided to search all this negative effects of my body. It was sad and I’m afraid that this would cause inflammation of my body
And I’m thankful of all her videos because I’m getting recovered to it❤

  • I like Jamieson ads because they are 100% natural. delivering ORGANIC and SUBTLE keywords that make their product look good, when in fact melatonin is melatonin and it will never be habit forming

  • I live in the PNW and we haven’t gotten too hot here this summer. Some of my Parris Island Cos has gotten really bitter and I’m not sure why. They have been growing great and look really healthy. Any tips on how to avoid the bitterness?

  • Hello it’s been 15 years since I have had an eating disorder but my body isn’t recovering due to my thyroid. As a a teenager I was very obese but went on a diet when I was 21 and got obsessed with losing too much weight which led to anorexia and bulimia. Fast forward 15 years later I don’t have any eating disorders now but the body feels like it’s starving even though I eat plenty of food. I take medication for my underactive thyroid but it’s not helping. It’s been really frustrating for 15 years. I have recovered mentally from my eating disorder but the body keeps going backwards and now my metabolism is out of whack and I’m always hungry. I live in Australia and no doctors understand why I feel like I’m starving all the time.

  • Diet Plan known as Custokebon Secrets kept showing up here on many youtube videos and I thought they were scams. However after my cousin follow it, and finally lost tons of weight by using it without starving herself. I’m persuaded. You should not take my word for it, search for Custokebon Secrets on the google search engine.

  • Woah woah woah! I don’t know about adding “a handful of nuts or seeds to each meal“… Nuts and seeds are extremely calorie dense so a handful of nuts or seeds is a couple hundred calories, and if you’re adding that to breakfast, lunch, dinner, and maybe even a snack or 2 that’s going to be almost 1000 extra calories and a lot of fat too… I mean they’re healthy and all in moderation, but how about ONE handful a day, not 3 or 4 or 5…

  • These are great! Small reminders that we seem to forget all the time. Thank you!
I was also wondering if you’d be willing to do video about eating well during pregnancy? I’m a vegetarian and almost 6 months pregnant myself, and finding it hard to be healthy when I’m so hungry all the time. I know it wouldn’t appeal to the mass audience but having just been through it too, your advice would be so appreciated!:)

  • What about plain Greek yoghurt? It’s white but isn’t it good for you to have with berries in the a.m.? That’s a fave of ours.. thoughts, anyone?

  • Every time I try recovery and start to eat I get sooooo uncomfortably bloated I look 5 months pregnant and in pain. I always end up not eating again because of the painfully bloated stomach. Not to mention my digestive tract goes haywire and I feel like nothing will move through me. It doesn’t seem to matter what I eat just as soon as I eat more I’m painfully bloated and I hate this feeling. I’m in bed all day. How to help the bloating is my question.

  • I love the comfort of eating right. We do not get the Ezekiel muffen here in Australia, but like you I am a creture of habbit enjoy your day and weekend ahead

  • I’ve been struggling for years. If I really think about it it’s been like half my life. (I’ve commented on your videos before) I’ve been thinking about recovery lately. A lot of it has come from Alanis Morissette and her talking about her story. I want to keep my toxic family out of this and I’m almost 18 so hopefully when i go on my own I can cut them out and get the help I know I need, but still am very unsure I deserve.

  • Dominique, I am new to your series, but I am SO enjoying your messages on health, and beauty tips, etc. which all help to contribute to a happy life many thanks for helping all of us ladies (I am 65 +) stay inspired to be all we can be!

  • Dear Kati,
I’m feeling like I want to cry or have a knot in my stomach quiet often recently. But I have nothing excapt things to be happy about and I’m doing great. So is this feeling a feeling of happiness? How do you recognise when that overwhelming feeling is just happiness and not something else? Please help.

  • Great videos but Earth Balance buttery spread is far from healthy. Any of the oils other than olive, coconut or real butter (Kerry Gold is the best) builds inflammation/disease in the body. Stick to beauty! Great job in that department!

  • Wait wait wait my beautiful Dominique. You eat your first meal at 11:00 am.? What time do you wake up? I wake up at 4:20am so to have breakfast at 11:00am I would be starving. I love popcorn but popcorn does not love me. It makes me bloated for some reason

  • You’re such an inspiration! I can watch your videos over and over again:) Thanks for your generosity in sharing your thoughts, experiences and for the encouragement to be bold and blessed. I hope you’ll feature your home garden in your future videos.

  • I don’t have enough space in my kitchen for properly doing meal prep or preparing certain items like smoothies because there is no space to plug in the blender (we have a kitchenette). Luckily, thanks to you I decided that while I may not be able to meal prep or do much for dinner and lunch. I am going to meal prep breakfast. It is the most difficult one to tackle without meal prep and stay healthy.

  • Hi, have you considered this diet plan called the Fenoboci Diet Plan? My mate says it helps people lost lots of weight. Is that possible? I also heard a lot of good review about this diet plan. Thoughts?

  • Great video.  Have to try the Eziekel products with my farm fresh organic egg in the morning.   Love the Skinny Pop cheddar flavor is my favorite.  I have to be more mindful of drinking more water…….. P.S.  Love your hair style

  • My mom cooks in our house and I don’t have her support. She think’s that i should eat ‘normal’ because I am already in a great shape. Next month I’m going to university and I’ll stay in a student hostel so I can’t prepare my meals there. What do you suggest me to do in order to have a healthy lifestyle?

  • My old friend in my bakeshop at collage heights has anorexia. My old freinds name was Cora. Cora never eats lunch. Cora is not my friend any more because I talked about her weight around her. Cora weighed 92 pounds. I used to have an eating disorder.

  • Hi Dominique! I have a quick question for you. How do you keep your natural nails so adorable? I am a natural nail fanatic and a dental assistant. So I’m constantly washing my hands! Do you have any tips on how to make a homemade manicure last longer?!

  • Dominique,
You are so humble and encouraging. I just found you on You Tube and
I think I almost watched every video in the last couple of days… I can’t wait to see more. You hair and make-up tips are terrific and you make it so easy to want and try the ideas you give… I love it! You are amazing and thank you for taking the time to make the videos. I can’t wait to get started on your smokey eye tips! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
    Hugs from Central Calif.

  • The proof is in the pudding and it shows.. You are the picture of health Dominique.  Every week I make a huge airtight bowl of salad which stays fresh for the week and each day switch up the proteins with shrimp, fish, chicken or steak. I was wondering if you’ve discovered the vegetable spiralizer?  Zucchini becomes pasta and you can serve with a healthy tomato sauce or herbed olive oil etc. the healthy possibilities are endless. Thanks for sharing =)

  • Dominique, I would like to see your evening skincare routine. Thank you for sharing all your wonderful tips, you are such an inspiration!!

  • Great video, Dominique. I love the simplicity of your diet healthy, easy to prepare, in season produce. I love Ezekial breads and muffins. They’ve got a good amount of protein and they’re very filling.

  • If I told my family I feel like they would not understand and Judge me… I’m so terrified but I know if I don’t get help now then it will be worse

  • I would love to take a trip into your fridge!  haha  I buy many veggies for salads but they wilt or go bad before I can eat them all.  I would like to see how you store your lettuce so that it lasts a few days as well as the other veggies.  Do you have a day to chop and store?  If so, what kinds of containers do you use.

  • Scary coincidence is that my biggest motivator is same as yours! My mom’s side of the family have diabetes; even my grandma who didn’t die because or diabetes still has the disease. My mom is borderline but we both have a sweet tooth unfortunately,

  • I think we should call you wonder woman….Not many Mums these days take the trouble to try to educate the children to eat good food…..
As a vegetarian/organic/ wholefood eater I have no trouble keeping my 5’11” frame lean (& lithe with swimming/walking etc;) & I grow most of my own fruit & veg…..If mor families had your attitude there would be less waste (which I hate)  & less mountainous sized / more healthy people in the world……
I could go on for reams but I will spare you!!!! Suffice to say= Good For You & lucky family!!!!

  • Thank you for sharing these great tips.  They reinforced what I’d been thinking and was a wonderful gentle nudge towards re-evaluating my eating habits.

  • Hi Dominique, I really enjoy your videos. This one was such a smart, simple approach to a healthy lifestyle. Very doable, and you present it in an encouraging way for everyone. Have a great weekend:)

  • I would like to see some of your healthy meals prepared. Portion control and any tips with prepping food for easy meals would be awesome. As a single Mom of an active 13 year old, I’m always looking for new meal ideas which are healthful and yummy. Love your videos! Thank you!

  • Thank you for the tips. I too enjoy the beautiful, colorful produce available. My husband and I do the Whole30 which consist of only tons of fruits and veggies with lean proteins and healthy fats and nuts and seeds. It feels good to not eat anything artificial. I love all your videos.

  • Love your videos. Your home looks beautiful, really enjoyed the flower video, would love some more point on decorate and a tour of you home. I have started adding house plants and it makes a big difference in the way mine looks. I have also added mirrors. Thanks for your videos

  • Hi Dominique. Great ideas and meal suggestions. I love salads and either fish or chicken during sumner. Popcorn is one of my favourite snacks too! You look beautiful. The colour of your dress is so summery! Have a great day. Xoxo Daphne.
