How to Make Healthy Cooking Oil ChoicesThomas DeLauer. Which Oil is best to cook with? What is best for cooking, may not always be best for fat loss… Want to work with me 1:1? I have a couple of spots still available! Click here: http://www.ThomasDeLauer.com. There are so many cooking oils out there olive oil, macadamia nut oil, coconut oil and avocado oil, just to name a few. What should you keep in mind when choosing the oil for your meal? Which Oil is the Healthiest? We must look at smoke point, omega-3 to omega-6 ratio, along with other health benefits of different oils.. Smoke point is the temperature at which an oil will start to smoke. This reaction causes free radicals and toxic fumes to be released in the air, and is not good for the nutritional benefits of the food or the health of the person cooking.. If you will be frying or sautéing it is important to use oils with high smoke points.. Frying (avoid frying whenever possible due to negative health effects of fried foods): Avocado oil, peanut oil and sesame oil have high smoke points and are safest for frying. Sautéing: The oils above plus coconut oil, macadamia nut oil and light virgin olive oil. *Oils with a high smoke point also have a longer shelf life, so if you use oil sparingly it is also important to go for an oil with a higher smoke point.. Fat Content: Some fats are good for our health while others are not and should be limited.. Omega-6 to omega-3 ratio: Western diet contains too many omega-6 fatty acids and too few omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acid consumption is linked to decreased inflammation, overall health improvement, better mood and memory.. -Unrefined flax seed oil has a very low omega-6 to omega-3 ratio, with four times as many omega-3 fatty acids. This oil has very low smoke point, so great in dressings or drizzled over already prepared foods.. -Macadamia nut oil has a 1:1 ratio, which is the ideal ratio overall in diet.. Monounsaturated fat: Great for cardiovascular health, cholesterol and cancer.. -Macadamia nut oil is 80% monounsaturated fat and has a great light, sweet nutty flavor. Good for use in baked goods, sautéing and used in dressings.. -Olive oil and avocado oil are also high in monounsaturated fat content.. Coconut Oil: Coconut oil is made up of natural, healthy saturated fats. Unlike man-made saturated fats, those in coconut oil have been found to help increase healthy cholesterol and decrease unhealthy cholesterol. Comprised of MCTs, which are available for immediate energy in the body.. -In a 2008 study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, it was found that those who were selected to consume coconut oil rather than olive oil as part of a weight-loss program over 16 weeks experienced greater energy expenditure and improved weight loss.. Favorite Oil Picks:. Coconut oil for sautéing and as a general snack eating a tablespoon of coconut oil will give you immediate energy! Macadamia nut oil for baking and dressings light, nutty flavor. Avocado oil great for sautéing and high temperature cooking very high smoke point so will have a longer shelf life and keep beneficial properties during cooking.. Tip: Store oils in cool, dark places. Purchase in small containers so that they do not degrade before use. If an oil tastes or smells bitter or off, throw as it has likely broken down.. You can use coconut oil, avocado oil, ghee, butter or animal fats for high heat cooking, olive oil for moderate heat cooking and good quality unrefined plant oils (olive, rapeseed, sesame) for dressings.
To maximize the olive oil in your diet, you should be spraying olive oil on your (toasted flourless) bread at breakfast, adding a tablespoon of olive oil to your salad at lunch, and cooking your wild salmon in olive oil at dinner.

Help! I eat a crisy broccoli floret from Trader Joe’s as a snack and I noticed in the ingredients that other than broccoli and salt it has Palm oil. Is palm oil ok the consume?
So flaxseeds oil is mostly good, but they alone mess up with testosterone as you mentioned in some other video… So in oil form, is it still gonna mess up with our testosterone?
The Avocado Oil from Costo is either racid or fake or both. Very unhealthy. Do not buy. When you compare to real avocado oil, you will see the difference. Unbelievable.
I cannot understand the negative comments about Canola (Rapeseed) being poisonous. Does anybody personally (not hearsay) know somebody who has died from being poisoned by rapeseed? I do not grow it, I produce EVOO, but object to misinformation even about my competitors.
Canola oil is not great unless it’s organic and expelled pressed. Avocado oil is great for cooking with high smoke point. You’re not supposed to cook with olive oil in high temperatures. Virgin coconut oil only. Organic Ghee is supposed to be good. Sesame oil is essential in Asian food.
When frying eggs in a skillet on the stove, now do you know what temperature different flame settings are giving you? Do you stick a thermometer in the oil to find out?
If you listen to this propaganda you deserve to be Sick. When I removed vegetable oils, seed oils out of my diet my diabetes Miraculously went away. This is the truth and let the truth set you free. Hopefully from vegetable oils.
AHA is trash, change my mind. Sunflower, peanut, and canola oil are all VERY BAD for you. This video is only 3 years old ffs… thought it was going to be at least 20 years old with this garbage information. Stick to avocado oil, EVOO, coconut, and macadamia nut. Always aim for extra virgin, cold pressed, unrefined, and organic. Your welcome. Employ me AHA…..
When the American Heart Association recommends and markets these toxic food like products to trusting Americans, their credibility when scorning natural saturated animal fats is suspect. Along with their medical treatment recommendations and endorsements. History will not be kind to this cartel.
canola you re kidding me? and frying? butter and lard is a lot better than all these veg processed oils. PUFAs are more dangerous than saturated fat especially when heated. A dislike from me.

Thanks for posting. Why is sunflower oil not ideal for low heat cooking? Some time ago, I made the absolutely perfect hibiscus leaf oil by frying away the mucilage of pureed leaves. The resulting oil was extremely fluid, clear dark like rich EVOO and ultra creamy.
However, I am struggling to replicate it. My attempt #2 was too dense, dark and smelled like spent cooking oil. When I used a lower heat for attempt #3, the colour was better but the oil was still a bit too dense.
hi Thomas, thanks for the video but I have a question please: if you are frying with avocado oil, you are definitely getting to the smoking point with high temperature of the pan. In this case what happens to the avocado oil? does it get denatured and hydrogenated? please reply. thanks
Thing about olive oil is the amount of monounsaturated fats (i.e. omega 3’s and 6’s) is pretty small, so the ratio of 3’s to 6’s shouldn’t be a big worry. Although, if you can switch to Macademia nut oil
I like to lightly coat spinach wit il and salt and add cherry tomatoes, diced shallots and mushrooms for a salad, but have been using Wesson oil. I am going to try macadamia nut oil instead.
Can you please make a video about what happens if we eat raw rice everyday? Please make a video on it. In india lot people say different things on this topic.. I hope you make a video on this topic.. thank you bestie..
Canola Oil is worse among all and chemically processed oil! How can it even be listed…. Grape seed? Come on… how much oil can be produced from seeds or nuts for commercial marketing… low heat /salad cooking is olive oil and high heat is coconut oil or palm oil.. BS
So the main message: every single oil you can possibly buy from a standard grocery store -> highly processed and refined Make your own oil cuz everything they sell in stores is bad. Don’t know where you get your oils from, your advice is solid but just not practical
Concentrated sources of Omega 6’s are not natural or appropriate for human consumption. I believe they are the main culprit for heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.

Hello if you get a chance please read Valery Mamonov’s, Nutritional Mystery Solved: Why Japanese Researchers Would Never Eat Fried Food. Now I’m more mindful of my cooking decisions. Hope it helps you as well. Wishing you good health. https://www.amazon.com/Nutrition-Mystery…/dp/B07TVF1XXZ
Canola oil (rapeseed) also has a very high burn point. There apparently are two versions of it. There is an engineered version that has low inflammatory response, that is a lower omega 6 ratio.
I see nothing but people complaining but when I search healthy cooking oil these are all that show up. How about you guys make a video showing healthy oil instead of bitching about other people being wrong?
I do not agree with the extra virgin olive oil. We use it so much in Italy to cook “spaghetti con le vongole”. The most famous Italian dish is made with pasta, garlic, extra virgin olive oil and pepper and heated up with medium high heat. Btw. Nice tips.
The use of coconut oil for cooking is considered to be somewhat controversial in health. There are so many advantages as well as disadvantages also. When advised to have healthy foods they say not to use too much coconut oil. Because it contains plenty of saturated fat, that increases the risk of heart disease. But according to some modern researches they are saying that some saturated fat increase the risk of heart diseases and some are very essential for the health of the body. https://www.tipsforbehealthy.com/healthy-foods/coconut-oil-for-cooking/
Momma use to give us cod liver oil when we were kids. Can you consume macadamia nut oil the same way. I have heard about the Omega-3 and 6s. This oil seems to be better for me in the way of inflammation. Am I wrong in assuming this?
Absolute Lies. The AHA is a corrupt organization that has been killing people with their dangerous advice since their inception. They are paid for by the food industry. Saturated fats are the safest fast to cook with. Polyunsaturated fats become trans fats when heated and cause heart disease by increasing inflammation in the body.
Since the topic of this video is “… Healthy Cooking Oil Choices” I figured I should inform you that the American Heart association don’t agree with you on the coconut part. It can increase the chances of heart disease.
Wow Ok Im impressed by your contents I jusy bought Chosen food Avaacado oil at walmart in Canada but no label as cold pressed on it! Whats your thought on Ghee butter?
Oils are so confusing, I thought canola oil was heart healthy. Now I’m not so sure. ♀️♀️ I also heard that coconut oil is bad for you. ♀️ Yikes is my information backwards or can coconut/canola oil be bad and good at the same time?
I have been using Canola oil all my life in cooking, frying, sauteing, etc. Iam still a healthy 67 years old and my wife and kids are all healthy as well,Thank God.Canola oil is bad if you drink it lol!
I have been using veggie oil for so many years. They are supper cheap. I have to change I guess. Why do they still sell it all over if it’s so unhealthy?
The truth is you need a varity of fat, My goto fat is bacon fat. I used to think it was unhealthy, but then found out its one of the healthiest fats. I also use grape seed which people say is unhealthy, sesamy, walmut, flax seed oil, coconut, canola….. There are many kinds of omega 3 and omega 6 fats. some are much better than others. Just eat a variety of fats and you are good to go. Except margarine. that stuff is nasty.
Thomas could you please do a research on corn and soy oil? How dangerous are they, do they have Any benefits? Please help us understand more of them. Thanks
Oh my god, please don’t listen to her. You should only cook with EXTRA virgin olive oil, because it has high smoke point, if it’s not real extra virgin olive oil it will oxidize and cause you damage, what is said here is complete BS. You should NEVER DEEP FRY with olive oil!!!!! Go see Thomas Delauer, this lady will kill you!
Canola oil (rapeseed) also has a very high burn point. There apparently are two versions of it. There is an engineered version that has low inflammatory response, that is a lower omega 6 ratio.
Just now finding your videos and I am really enjoying them. I am assuming since you didn’t mention lard that is something I should not be eating. Correct?
I have also heard that the lignans in flaxseeds can increase SHBG which is probably not good for optimizing free testosterone.I don’t know how legit this is but what’s your opinion on it?
I have been told to avoid RICE BRAN OIL as” it is cause of both inflammation and the mitochondrial dysfunction which is believed to be causes of insulin resistance.” Dr. Paul Saladino, Dr. Cate Shanahan, Dr. Michael Eades and others have been quoted for above opinion. Please guide.

lard, butter, and tallow are not as bad as believed vegetable oils have always been the real culprits as they are highly refined and and very inflammatory. Coconut was scathed as it is not native to North America and competes the unhealthy oils you mentioned.
Direct medical advice from The American Heart Association (AHA)
82 percent of coconut oil is comprised of saturated fats, far more than in regular butter (63), olive oil (14), peanut oil (17), and sunflower oil (10).
“A recent survey reported that 72 percent of the American public rated coconut oil as a ‘healthy food’ compared with 37 percent of nutritionists,” the AHA’s review notes. “This disconnect between lay and expert opinion can be attributed to the marketing of coconut oil in the popular press.”
A meta-analysis of a suite of experiments have conclusively shown that butter and coconut oil, in terms of raising the amount of bad cholesterol in your body, are just as bad as each other.
“Because coconut oil increases [bad] cholesterol, a cause of cardiovascular disease, and has no known offsetting favorable effects, we advise against the use of coconut oil,” the AHA conclude. In essence, there is nothing to gain and everything to lose by using coconut oil in cooking.
What’s the truth about Canola oil? I live in Sweden and we produce a lot of it is it safe and if so, is it good when on Keto. I started Keto today. I use to add a little to butter when frying so the butter wouldn’t burn.
If you can’t get the oil without going thru all that heating than its really bad. The only good oil they mention is Olive oil because you can squeeze the olives and the grease comes out
Sesame oil has side effects… It adds bitterness to your system. So for those who consume sesame oil for long time the traditional medicine of Siddha (native medicine of South India) will not work. In Tamil Nadu though sesame oil is available in abundance we use it only as a medicine in certain dishes only. It subsides the excessive heat in the system. So it can be applied on the head and then take a hot water shower. It has various benefits. But to be used only where and when needed
Nine times out of ten I would agree with him regarding the smoking points of oils. But, you can actually cook with coconut oil at a high temperature because it is very different from most other cooking oils as it contains an unusual composition of fatty acids which makes it highly resistant to oxidation at a high heat. For this reason, it is very suitable to cook at a high heat incuding frying
Hi Joanna, just wondering if you have a video about the different types of milk and which type is better for what situation? Itll be great if we can get a video on that:)
You are talking about good oils, unfortunately these oils can hardly be found in the supermarkets, most of them fake oils, instead of getting benefits your health will be deteriorated, you could find car oil also used as edible oil
………Wait did he say sesame oil is good for high heat…wat???? It has a really low smoke point. https://jonbarron.org/diet-and-nutrition/healthiest-cooking-oil-chart-smoke-points Just hearing that makes me wonder how accurate the rest of the info in this is.
It is confusing to hear that we should always avoid using rapeseed oil. I was led to believe that cold pressed unrefined rapeseed oil, that costs in a grocery store more than extra virgin olive oil, is very good for our health. Could you please give some further explanation here?
How about High Oleic Sunflower Oil? It has almost identical fatty acid structure as Olive oil (75+ oleic acid content), no trans, rich in Vitamin E and is NOT a GMO. Smoke point 235 C +. Why is it not viewed here?
Help! I eat a crisy broccoli floret from Trader Joe’s as a snack and I noticed in the ingredients that other than broccoli and salt it has Palm oil. Is palm oil ok the consume?
I took nutrition in nursing school, canola oil is the best cookin oil even better than olive oil. coconut oil is bad bad bad.. Has lot of saturated fatty acids
Canola oil is only good if it’s expeller pressed otherwise you’re better off without it considering all the chemicals that come with it just to extract the oils from the seed. https://youtu.be/wPlHuXYI8v0, https://youtu.be/xDbUrPUFX_Y, https://youtu.be/X1Oe-4qkID0, https://youtu.be/l8uVelhZebY. Tnx

The American Heart Association should take this video down. Let’s talk about inflammation and other complications that come with consuming ‘vegetable oils’. These are just highly processed poison. Eat real foods, and real fats to heal your body.
Very informative!! My husband was recently diagnosed with a fatty liver and we were still in a cloud of smoke not knowing what oils to use for our daily cooking. I went with my gut instinct and chose avocado oil and have been using it for about 4 days now. Today I stumbled across your video and I’m so glad I did…put my mind at ease. Thank you so so much.
Pretty close on olive oil. Extra virgin olive oil is mechanically extracted from the olive just as virgin is extracted, same process. The difference is in the quality. Olive oils classified as virgin have a slight flaw in aroma, taste and/or chemical analysis. Virgin olive oil is great for cooking and EVOO is better for finishing.
Is safflower oil ok to eat if not heated? One of my favorite keto desserts is G-Butter, but they use safflower oil, and some flavors I prefer to eat raw right out of the jar.
Oh no! In some doktor and trusted specialists coconut or virgin oil is number one ☝️, but canola oil is not recommended, and olive oil is better nbut not use in cooking, why you insist ‘this canola which other doktor not recommended, canola is danger to our health now I lost trust info from bestie, thank you, pls give correct info….

Hi! I’m new to your channel and I love your vids!! I’m on a healthy lifestyle journey and love the information! I have a question….When studying oils years ago(primarily for hair/skin) I was taught to use only cold pressed! You say expeller pressed is fine, but I thought that was still processed with heat?
Canola, soybean, vegetable. Peanut oils are all garbage. Best ones are coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil. However, Avocado oil is good for vegetable salad.
Can you please make a video about what happens if we eat raw rice everyday? Please make a video on it. In india lot people say different things on this topic.. I hope you make a video on this topic.. thank you bestie..
Hi Bobby, could you please tell me.. can I use Kevala High Oleic Organic Sunflower Oil for deep frying(potato chips etc…) instead of using the Baja presious oil the one you referred… and also can use the oil that I used for deep fry.. could please let me know..

Those food and drugs people are wicked, they stood up in Parliament and said that coconut oil is bad for us because they were paid to say that. Knowing full well the truth and pushing the synthetic oil market because of money.

All mammals eat a diet high in saturated animal fat, whether they are carnivores or herbivores. They don’t eat Plant oils. To follow the AHA is to deny the existence of evolution.
Hot tip: with ANY oil, if it starts to SMOKE, turn off the flame, toss it out-and DON’T BREATH THE FUMES. I do not know the formal name, but a form of cancer (killed my neighbor) is called “Asian woman’s syndrome” because traditionally, with wok cooking, a lot of Asian women have inhaled hot oil-don’t do that. If oil starts to SMOKE-danger, danger, danger. And you don’t have to be a woman, or Asian, to die from that. Don’t inhale smoke from any source.
Can-oh-la-la! Good grief. Made from genetically modified rapeseed oil which is used to lubricate machine parts. In Canada. Hence, Can-o-la. My wife and I get indigestion from this oil. I suspect that all those university hospitals and medical associations like the AMA, get a lot of funding from food companies. So they are very defensive about Canola. Fine. But I’m staying away from it. My principle is this: minimize oil use to the lowest possible level, and if you do consume oil, get only cold pressed oil. In India, there has been a dramatic increase in the use of RICE BRAN OIL. But mostly what is sold is chemically refined and likely quite unhealthy. I’m an MD, an Internist. The AHA putting out a video with this info? Good grief.
Coconut Oil is the Best. Take as much as you can. Bullshit of saying the saturated oil are the best at natural state. And you avoid talking about Palm Oil? There have been using in Africa for thousands of years. What is the heart diseases rate in Africa?? I suggest Say You Are AN Real Culprit…
Wow, thank you Joanna, that was great information! I’m glad you mentioned grape seed oil, and confirmed the good things I’ve heard about avocado oil. Keep up the great work.
I have been using veggie oil for so many years. They are supper cheap. I have to change I guess. Why do they still sell it all over if it’s so unhealthy?
I am a Registered Dietitian, and have many of my patients starting to use Coconut Oil for cooking instead of other oils. However, I have seen their LDL levels double 2-3 months after using it. So if this is my experience, how is that Coconut oil is heart healthy?
The Ketosis Cookbook is packed with amazing keto recipes that will lead to a state of nutritional ketosis….where your body will burn fat for energy instead of glucose. Don’t wait, start eating Keto TODAY and experience the weight loss, increased energy and confidence, regulated metabolism, and improved health without the need to radically reduce calories.
Have you considered that possibly there is a symbolological, consumeristic correlation between the product rapeseed oil and black seed oil? I think psychophysiologically it could be considered a sociolinguistic marketing ‘health’ ploy to control human reproductive cycles, impair psychocardiological development, and control the human mind. So from an informed perspective, one could consider that perhaps ‘health’ culture could be constructed sociolinguistically to create separation altogether. One can never know what one is truly putting into one’s body unless one has one’s own laboratory

Have you covered Rice Bran Oil elsewhere? It’s got a pretty high smoke point good for frying, but I’m having a hard time finding nutritional information on it other than its Omega 6/3 ratio.
It is normally with extra virgin olive oil it’s even mentioned at the bottom of the bottom the bottle It should be used for recipes that demand extra virgin olive oil, it’s only used for fast cooking recipes like:sauted mushrooms, alio olio pasta and few salads. Extra virgin olive oil is not used for normal cooking. Olive oil can be used for normal cooking
Epic content, finding your channel has transformed my life. I threw out all bad canola and soybean stuff. Only extra virgin now. Putting it into practice on my fitness channel
Mic the vegan’s and gojiman’s channels have made oil seem like the devil-incarnate, particularly with the research they cite. I’m curious to know what you think. I’m vegan low carb, and wouldn’t know what to do without oils!
Its low in fat at 7% what the hell are you talking about! Canola oil is worse than processed piss! How many people will you kill by making this money grabbing video!?

I would like to know what are thoughts. I came across Organic Chosen Blend Cooking Oil. organic high-oleic safflower oil, avocado oil and coconut oil would you consider this a good oil or bad knowing there safflower in it

Aleppo Castle Oils. I love this, but the ingredients read: First cold press saturated fat, 2g trans fat 0, polyunsaturated fat 2g, monounsaturated fat 10g, cholesterol 0mg, sodium 0mg, total carbohydrates 0g,. Tastes great, low price, real olive oil???
If you listen to this propaganda you deserve to be Sick. When I removed vegetable oils, seed oils out of my diet my diabetes Miraculously went away. This is the truth and let the truth set you free. Hopefully from vegetable oils.
I only wanted to know the best oil for my wok and for deep frying… instead, my brain exploded as i think i heard something about Star Treks Phase Inducer and how the photon cannons work?

How one can define “Regular Olive Oil” in terms of oil extraction process. Like we say cool press or extra virgin which is crystal clear there is no confusion to understand it. Then we have olive pomace oil which is also clear to me that how it is extracted. But in this video Joanna used Regular olive oil which i cannot understand, is it pomace oil or is it another category.
Adulterated Oils = Slow Poison….. there r 1000s of fraud oil companies been sealed off and still more 1000s exists in the market…. All they know is to make tons of money by playing with humans health & taste…. wondering how to get a real n genuine oil brand… even labels r fabricated & fakes, those all good for mentioning only lies…. if there is not a single globally accredited watchdog to endorse the list of genuine brands
Momma use to give us cod liver oil when we were kids. Can you consume macadamia nut oil the same way. I have heard about the Omega-3 and 6s. This oil seems to be better for me in the way of inflammation. Am I wrong in assuming this?
How about High Oleic Sunflower Oil? It has almost identical fatty acid structure as Olive oil (75+ oleic acid content), no trans, rich in Vitamin E and is NOT a GMO. Smoke point 235 C +. Why is it not viewed here?
AHA is trash, change my mind. Sunflower, peanut, and canola oil are all VERY BAD for you. This video is only 3 years old ffs… thought it was going to be at least 20 years old with this garbage information. Stick to avocado oil, EVOO, coconut, and macadamia nut. Always aim for extra virgin, cold pressed, unrefined, and organic. Your welcome. Employ me AHA…..
So the main message: every single oil you can possibly buy from a standard grocery store -> highly processed and refined Make your own oil cuz everything they sell in stores is bad. Don’t know where you get your oils from, your advice is solid but just not practical
Good grief.
So the American Heart Association is saying this? These claims are soooo not true, that it should be ilegal to publish them. Maybe they are being sponsored by Canola. Canola oil contain Sodium Hydroside and bleach, for oil separation and clarity. Do they even know the healthy risks that come from that? Frankly, now any stupid monkey with a camera and a computer can claim to be an expert.
Seasame oil and peanut oil are both rich in omega 6 polyunsaturated fats ( about 60% of mass ). Great advice… You’ll have bunch of oxidized omega 6 = super inflammatory. Omg, You advice to cook with flaxseed oil? Why do You think flaxseed oil is ‘cold extracted’? You’ll ruin all those omega 3 fatty acids because of rapid oxidation. They’re very sensitive to temperature and easily go rancid. You should remove this video, because advices here are harmful!!!

All mammals eat a diet high in saturated animal fat, whether they are carnivores or herbivores. They don’t eat Plant oils. To follow the AHA is to deny the existence of evolution.
You are talking about good oils, unfortunately these oils can hardly be found in the supermarkets, most of them fake oils, instead of getting benefits your health will be deteriorated, you could find car oil also used as edible oil
The American Heart Association should take this video down. Let’s talk about inflammation and other complications that come with consuming ‘vegetable oils’. These are just highly processed poison. Eat real foods, and real fats to heal your body.
I took nutrition in nursing school, canola oil is the best cookin oil even better than olive oil. coconut oil is bad bad bad.. Has lot of saturated fatty acids
Aleppo Castle Oils. I love this, but the ingredients read: First cold press saturated fat, 2g trans fat 0, polyunsaturated fat 2g, monounsaturated fat 10g, cholesterol 0mg, sodium 0mg, total carbohydrates 0g,. Tastes great, low price, real olive oil???
I am a Registered Dietitian, and have many of my patients starting to use Coconut Oil for cooking instead of other oils. However, I have seen their LDL levels double 2-3 months after using it. So if this is my experience, how is that Coconut oil is heart healthy?
Eating green leafy veggies raw without boiling or cooking with healthy fats like ghee, is unhealthy and toxic. Even black cumin seed oil can’t save that person
canola oil is generally not hydrogenated unless you choose to buy it that way. By the logic of refining being bad, pure olive oils should also be considered a bad fat
Oliv oil is no good for deep frying Some sources put the smoke point of olive oil somewhere around 374–405°F (190–207°C) (17). This makes it a safe choice for most cooking methods, including most pan frying. Summary Extra virgin olive oil’s smoke point is somewhere around 374–405°F (190–207°C
What about peanut oil? This is what is used in Oriental wok cooking and is recommended for turkey fryers because it has a very high smoke point, supposedly at all. It adds no flavor. What about clarified butter which the Indians call ghee? this supposedly has a very high smoke temperature too but it will add a buttery flavor. Good for pan searing steak possibly mixed with olive oil? Usually you see pan seared steak based with pats of butter and it turns brown. Is that the butter breaking down? If you melt butter you get three layers. Milk solids that sink to the bottom, another white layer that floats to the tap, and a clear middle layer that is the clarified butter. It’s easy to just throw sticks in a pot, melt it, skim off the top layer and pour the clear liquid off leaving the bottom solids behind. What say you? BTW, thanks for your videos.
What’s the truth about Canola oil? I live in Sweden and we produce a lot of it is it safe and if so, is it good when on Keto. I started Keto today. I use to add a little to butter when frying so the butter wouldn’t burn.
So flaxseeds oil is mostly good, but they alone mess up with testosterone as you mentioned in some other video… So in oil form, is it still gonna mess up with our testosterone?
Would love a video about unhealthy oils (soybean, canola, ect). There aren’t many out there and your videos backed up by science would be so beneficial on the subject!
All oils you are mentioned apart from coco oil (contain mostly saturate fats) are quite refined in order to extract the oil from that untreated product which carry along lot of trans fats (detrimental ones).
Which is the ideal temperature to cook unsaturated fats in order to don’t break its natural chemical bond and so make them unhealthy ones? Could you please explain that?
It is confusing to hear that we should always avoid using rapeseed oil. I was led to believe that cold pressed unrefined rapeseed oil, that costs in a grocery store more than extra virgin olive oil, is very good for our health. Could you please give some further explanation here?

I cannot understand the negative comments about Canola (Rapeseed) being poisonous. Does anybody personally (not hearsay) know somebody who has died from being poisoned by rapeseed? I do not grow it, I produce EVOO, but object to misinformation even about my competitors.
hi Thomas, thanks for the video but I have a question please: if you are frying with avocado oil, you are definitely getting to the smoking point with high temperature of the pan. In this case what happens to the avocado oil? does it get denatured and hydrogenated? please reply. thanks
Tnx
Thing about olive oil is the amount of monounsaturated fats (i.e. omega 3’s and 6’s) is pretty small, so the ratio of 3’s to 6’s shouldn’t be a big worry. Although, if you can switch to Macademia nut oil
I have also heard that the lignans in flaxseeds can increase SHBG which is probably not good for optimizing free testosterone.I don’t know how legit this is but what’s your opinion on it?

Hi Bobby, could you please tell me.. can I use Kevala High Oleic Organic Sunflower Oil for deep frying(potato chips etc…) instead of using the Baja presious oil the one you referred… and also can use the oil that I used for deep fry.. could please let me know..
lard, butter, and tallow are not as bad as believed vegetable oils have always been the real culprits as they are highly refined and and very inflammatory. Coconut was scathed as it is not native to North America and competes the unhealthy oils you mentioned.
Oils are so confusing, I thought canola oil was heart healthy. Now I’m not so sure. ♀️♀️ I also heard that coconut oil is bad for you. ♀️ Yikes is my information backwards or can coconut/canola oil be bad and good at the same time?
Canola Oil is worse among all and chemically processed oil! How can it even be listed…. Grape seed? Come on… how much oil can be produced from seeds or nuts for commercial marketing… low heat /salad cooking is olive oil and high heat is coconut oil or palm oil.. BS
canola oil is generally not hydrogenated unless you choose to buy it that way. By the logic of refining being bad, pure olive oils should also be considered a bad fat
Is safflower oil ok to eat if not heated? One of my favorite keto desserts is G-Butter, but they use safflower oil, and some flavors I prefer to eat raw right out of the jar.
I see nothing but people complaining but when I search healthy cooking oil these are all that show up. How about you guys make a video showing healthy oil instead of bitching about other people being wrong?
Wow, thank you Joanna, that was great information! I’m glad you mentioned grape seed oil, and confirmed the good things I’ve heard about avocado oil. Keep up the great work.
Would love a video about unhealthy oils (soybean, canola, ect). There aren’t many out there and your videos backed up by science would be so beneficial on the subject!
This food is brought to you by The American Heart Association, who used to label foods like Cocoa Puffs as heart healthy…good to see that many people are starting to wake up. Back in 2009 when I finally figured this out, I took my bottle of vegetable oil out to the garage to use as a lubricant. Back then, nobody would listen to me when I warned them about the dangers of seed oils and sugar. Now, many more people have seen the light. Good to see people questioning the major corporations and groups like the biased AHA.

Oh dang, I was gonna listen to the AMERICAN HEART ASOCIAN! But how could a bunch of hipster YouTubers without medical or culinary backgrounds be wrong!?
OIL IS NOT A HEALTH FOOD. PERIOD. It must be minimized. But mixing a teaspoon or two of cold pressed flaxseed oil or extra virgin olive oil in a salad is fine. We need OMEGA 3 fatty acids as they are essential.
Eating green leafy veggies raw without boiling or cooking with healthy fats like ghee, is unhealthy and toxic. Even black cumin seed oil can’t save that person
I have been using Canola oil all my life in cooking, frying, sauteing, etc. Iam still a healthy 67 years old and my wife and kids are all healthy as well,Thank God.Canola oil is bad if you drink it lol!
Canola oil has erucic acid which is known to be toxic to humans…….. eat fats that you can make at home, olive oil, coconut oil or butter are some examples, there is a type of trans fatty acid in butter called Conjugated Linolenic acid which is known to protect the heart and lowering inflammation
I only wanted to know the best oil for my wok and for deep frying… instead, my brain exploded as i think i heard something about Star Treks Phase Inducer and how the photon cannons work?
My number one go to avocado oil, my number two Olive oil, number three, I love using extra virgin olive oil. Salads, a final drizzle on a meal, I mix it with garlic rosemary a little salt and pepper and love dipping my French bread in it
Pretty close on olive oil.
Just now finding your videos and I am really enjoying them. I am assuming since you didn’t mention lard that is something I should not be eating. Correct?
OIL IS NOT A HEALTH FOOD. PERIOD. It must be minimized. But mixing a teaspoon or two of cold pressed flaxseed oil or extra virgin olive oil in a salad is fine. We need OMEGA 3 fatty acids as they are essential.
The Christian God Jesus is Satan the devil and he is not coming back… Christians worship Satan with a human sacrifice of Jesus to Satan… you’ve been deceived… repent accept Jahovah and do good works.
If you can’t get the oil without going thru all that heating than its really bad. The only good oil they mention is Olive oil because you can squeeze the olives and the grease comes out
Everyone acts like they’re a doctor here. If you know so much then why are you here? PSA… don’t drown your food in oil, use in excessive amounts, or use daily. Just like other high calorie dense foods. The point of this video is to compare the oils. It never said anything was “healthy”.

I do not agree with the extra virgin olive oil. We use it so much in Italy to cook “spaghetti con le vongole”. The most famous Italian dish is made with pasta, garlic, extra virgin olive oil and pepper and heated up with medium high heat. Btw. Nice tips.
Thanx bobbi ur an angel..my freind gave me a heart attack when she told me olive oil cannot be used for cooking for the same reasons u said in vedio…thx will definitely put my hand on this olive oil…..cheers

Its low in fat at 7% what the hell are you talking about! Canola oil is worse than processed piss! How many people will you kill by making this money grabbing video!?

Epic content, finding your channel has transformed my life. I threw out all bad canola and soybean stuff. Only extra virgin now. Putting it into practice on my fitness channel
Thank you Dear, very important, you might want to touch on “smoke point” and why you don’t want to go past that point; smoking oil is dangerous (the fumes) and should be tossed out, start againt.

Mic the vegan’s and gojiman’s channels have made oil seem like the devil-incarnate, particularly with the research they cite. I’m curious to know what you think. I’m vegan low carb, and wouldn’t know what to do without oils!
………Wait did he say sesame oil is good for high heat…wat???? It has a really low smoke point. https://jonbarron.org/diet-and-nutrition/healthiest-cooking-oil-chart-smoke-points Just hearing that makes me wonder how accurate the rest of the info in this is.
My number one go to avocado oil, my number two Olive oil, number three, I love using extra virgin olive oil. Salads, a final drizzle on a meal, I mix it with garlic rosemary a little salt and pepper and love dipping my French bread in it
Those food and drugs people are wicked, they stood up in Parliament and said that coconut oil is bad for us because they were paid to say that. Knowing full well the truth and pushing the synthetic oil market because of money.

Concentrated sources of Omega 6’s are not natural or appropriate for human consumption. I believe they are the main culprit for heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.
I lost my job as a carer and it was as volanteer basis I did it to help and care. I lost my job and after being a member with costco for over 2 decades they deemed me a leper as I din not have a job. They would not bar a person if they were Gay, female Black, Muslim, Jewish but I just found out if your unemployed they will not give you membership. Well Amazon here I come. You do not care is I am unemployed. Have a far better returns policy and deliver to the door! With better prices. F.O Costco!
Wow Ok Im impressed by your contents I jusy bought Chosen food Avaacado oil at walmart in Canada but no label as cold pressed on it! Whats your thought on Ghee butter?
Avoid seed oils like canola, corn and soy oils. Eat olive oil, coconut oil, ghee or butter in moderation and don’t be afraid of their saturated fat. (Their role in heart disease has been disproven) And try to get some omega 3’s in your diet from sources like Wild salmon, mackerel and sardines, as well as flax seeds and walnuts.
What about the mix of sunflower n olive oil they r selling everywhere? I dont know why is so hard to get sunflower oil here, is so easy in S America like good olive oils in Europe
Thanx bobbi ur an angel..my freind gave me a heart attack when she told me olive oil cannot be used for cooking for the same reasons u said in vedio…thx will definitely put my hand on this olive oil…..cheers

What about the mix of sunflower n olive oil they r selling everywhere? I dont know why is so hard to get sunflower oil here, is so easy in S America like good olive oils in Europe
Thomas could you please do a research on corn and soy oil? How dangerous are they, do they have Any benefits? Please help us understand more of them. Thanks

So flaxseeds oil is mostly good, but they alone mess up with testosterone as you mentioned in some other video… So in oil form, is it still gonna mess up with our testosterone?
The best oil is extra virgin olive oil. And you can find it everywhere. In the Mediterranean sea is sacred. This avocado oil is like fashion lol.

When the American Heart Association recommends and markets these toxic food like products to trusting Americans, their credibility when scorning natural saturated animal fats is suspect. Along with their medical treatment recommendations and endorsements. History will not be kind to this cartel.
canola you re kidding me? and frying? butter and lard is a lot better than all these veg processed oils. PUFAs are more dangerous than saturated fat especially when heated. A dislike from me.

Grateful for any suggestions.
I used to intern at AHA and let me tell you these people have NO EDUCATION!! It is unbelievable the information they put out to the public.
hi Thomas, thanks for the video but I have a question please: if you are frying with avocado oil, you are definitely getting to the smoking point with high temperature of the pan.
BS
So the main message: every single oil you can possibly buy from a standard grocery store -> highly processed and refined
Make your own oil cuz everything they sell in stores is bad. Don’t know where you get your oils from, your advice is solid but just not practical
Concentrated sources of Omega 6’s are not natural or appropriate for human consumption. I believe they are the main culprit for heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.

Visiting in India now. RICE BRAN oil is VERY popular sold as Saffola. Possible slight arsenic contamination but in research I’ve found it is quite OK…
Hello if you get a chance please read Valery Mamonov’s, Nutritional Mystery Solved: Why Japanese Researchers Would Never Eat Fried Food. Now I’m more mindful of my cooking decisions. Hope it helps you as well. Wishing you good health.

Canola oil (rapeseed) also has a very high burn point. There apparently are two versions of it. There is an engineered version that has low inflammatory response, that is a lower omega 6 ratio.
I don’t know if there us an official name for it.
Is frying it self healthy, say for example even if you used avocado oil. Is it just the oil burning the only thing that makes frying unhealthy?
Absolute Lies. The AHA is a corrupt organization that has been killing people with their dangerous advice since their inception. They are paid for by the food industry. Saturated fats are the safest fast to cook with. Polyunsaturated fats become trans fats when heated and cause heart disease by increasing inflammation in the body.
What about grapeseed oil instead of avocado oil? I find Avocado oil gives food a bitter taste. Not sure why Avocado’s are not bitter.

Why do they still sell it all over if it’s so unhealthy?

motivated by greed who ever funded the research just wanted to sell your their byproducts instead of disposing of or using them properly
Any thoughts on sunflower seed oil? I thought I bought avocado oil but realize that it’s a blend of avocado oil and sunflower seed oil.
Flaxseed oil has the most omega 3 but as explained in your other video, it isnt so easily and efficiently used by our bodies.
Avocado oil is really good for our bodies but least omega 3.
Sigh… What now? Which to buy?
Canola oil (rapeseed) also has a very high burn point. There apparently are two versions of it. There is an engineered version that has low inflammatory response, that is a lower omega 6 ratio.

Just now finding your videos and I am really enjoying them. I am assuming since you didn’t mention lard that is something I should not be eating. Correct?
I have also heard that the lignans in flaxseeds can increase SHBG which is probably not good for optimizing free testosterone.I don’t know how legit this is but what’s your opinion on it?
Have you tried any of these oils? Which are your healthy go to oils? If you enjoyed this video, please give it a like and share it with your friends!

When frying eggs in a skillet on the stove, now do you know what temperature different flame settings are giving you? Do you stick a thermometer in the oil to find out?

I got an ischemic stroke after 5 years using canola oil, now I turn to virgin coconut oil for cooking or salad and i feel more healthy
This information is wrong, yet even though coconut oil may be considered bad by some i know for a fact it is better than all the oils here
lard, butter, and tallow are not as bad as believed vegetable oils have always been the real culprits as they are highly refined and and very inflammatory. Coconut was scathed as it is not native to North America and competes the unhealthy oils you mentioned.
7 Good Cooking oils;;Cannola oil,Extra Vigin Olive oil,Peanut oil,Coconut oil,,Avocado oil,,Sesame oil,Safflower oil,……..

It has a really low smoke point. https://jonbarron.org/diet-and-nutrition/healthiest-cooking-oil-chart-smoke-points
Just hearing that makes me wonder how accurate the rest of the info in this is.
Everone at the AHA should be terminated for this vid. But now I understand what they did. More sickness, more money for them. Sad.

No mention of mustard oil and sunflower oil? Also, EVOO due to low smoke point cannot be used for cooking or sautéing, only salad dressings.
Hi Bobby, could you please tell me.. can I use Kevala High Oleic Organic Sunflower Oil for deep frying(potato chips etc…) instead of using the Baja presious oil the one you referred… and also can use the oil that I used for deep fry.. could please let me know..
I tried extra virgin olive oil and cold press extra virgin coconut oil but there are so expensive. Coconut has a flavour like that one of butter

ALL THIS INFORMATION IS TOTALLY INCORRECT! DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE TO OBTAIN THE FACTS! YOUR IMPROPER RESEARCH LEADS TO IMPROPER INFORMATION BEING DISSEMINATED!
Your information is all wrong with Canola and Extra Virgin Oil…..EVO is only use for salads never for cooking let alone frying,..
I like to lightly coat spinach wit il and salt and add cherry tomatoes, diced shallots and mushrooms for a salad, but have been using Wesson oil. I am going to try macadamia nut oil instead.

Those food and drugs people are wicked, they stood up in Parliament and said that coconut oil is bad for us because they were paid to say that. Knowing full well the truth and pushing the synthetic oil market because of money.
ALL THIS INFORMATION IS TOTALLY INCORRECT! DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE TO OBTAIN THE FACTS! YOUR IMPROPER RESEARCH LEADS TO IMPROPER INFORMATION BEING DISSEMINATED!
This is really misleading imo and it should not be titled best oils for ‘weight loss’.
Weight loss occurs by either consuming less calories per day or burning off excess calories that have been consumed with cardiovascular exercise.
Oils are entirely comprised of fat and are the most calorie dense substances, averaging 850 calories per 100 millilitres.
The best oil is extra virgin olive oil. And you can find it everywhere. In the Mediterranean sea is sacred. This avocado oil is like fashion lol.
Good grief.
Non of these oils are good for our health. People should stop consuming oils in cooking. Better boil your food in water and live healthy and longer.

I am a Registered Dietitian, and have many of my patients starting to use Coconut Oil for cooking instead of other oils. However, I have seen their LDL levels double 2-3 months after using it. So if this is my experience, how is that Coconut oil is heart healthy?

Have you considered that possibly there is a symbolological, consumeristic correlation between the product rapeseed oil and black seed oil? I think psychophysiologically it could be considered a sociolinguistic marketing ‘health’ ploy to control human reproductive cycles, impair psychocardiological development, and control the human mind.
So from an informed perspective, one could consider that perhaps ‘health’ culture could be constructed sociolinguistically to create separation altogether.
One can never know what one is truly putting into one’s body unless one has one’s own laboratory
When the American Heart Association recommends and markets these toxic food like products to trusting Americans, their credibility when scorning natural saturated animal fats is suspect. Along with their medical treatment recommendations and endorsements. History will not be kind to this cartel.

Some of the info is incorrect! Sesame oil doesnt hav a high smoke point.Canola oil is also said to be unhealthy same with vegetable oil.
The Avocado Oil from Costo is either racid or fake or both. Very unhealthy. Do not buy. When you compare to real avocado oil, you will see the difference. Unbelievable.
I would like to know what are thoughts. I came across Organic Chosen Blend Cooking Oil. organic high-oleic safflower oil, avocado oil and coconut oil would you consider this a good oil or bad knowing there safflower in it

Have you covered Rice Bran Oil elsewhere? It’s got a pretty high smoke point good for frying, but I’m having a hard time finding nutritional information on it other than its Omega 6/3 ratio.
It is normally with extra virgin olive oil it’s even mentioned at the bottom of the bottom the bottle
It should be used for recipes that demand extra virgin olive oil, it’s only used for fast cooking recipes like:sauted mushrooms, alio olio pasta and few salads.
Extra virgin olive oil is not used for normal cooking.
Olive oil can be used for normal cooking
I got an ischemic stroke after 5 years using canola oil, now I turn to virgin coconut oil for cooking or salad and i feel more healthy
Epic content, finding your channel has transformed my life. I threw out all bad canola and soybean stuff. Only extra virgin now. Putting it into practice on my fitness channel
Everone at the AHA should be terminated for this vid. But now I understand what they did. More sickness, more money for them. Sad.

Been using vegetable oil since I avoided canola oil. IDK what to use now. Olive oil may not always be commercially available in our area.

So the main message: every single oil you can possibly buy from a standard grocery store -> highly processed and refined
Make your own oil cuz everything they sell in stores is bad. Don’t know where you get your oils from, your advice is solid but just not practical

In India, there has been a dramatic increase in the use of RICE BRAN OIL. But mostly what is sold is chemically refined and likely quite unhealthy. I’m an MD, an Internist. The AHA putting out a video with this info?
Your information is all wrong with Canola and Extra Virgin Oil…..EVO is only use for salads never for cooking let alone frying,..

I thought coconut oil had higher smoke point than avocado oil. Coconut oil is saturated fat unlike avocado oil so it should be higher?

Oliv oil is no good for deep frying
Some sources put the smoke point of olive oil somewhere around 374–405°F (190–207°C) (17). This makes it a safe choice for most cooking methods, including most pan frying. Summary Extra virgin olive oil’s smoke point is somewhere around 374–405°F (190–207°C

Lmaoo, this is garbage advice. Lard, butter and coconut oil are all my family cooks with and none of us are unhealthy or fat fucks.
What about grapeseed oil instead of avocado oil? I find Avocado oil gives food a bitter taste. Not sure why Avocado’s are not bitter.
Lmaoo, this is garbage advice. Lard, butter and coconut oil are all my family cooks with and none of us are unhealthy or fat fucks.

What’s the difference between oil spray and regular oil? Why does avocado oil have 130 cal for a tbsp and 0 cal for the avocado oil spray?
I have been told to avoid RICE BRAN OIL as” it is cause of both inflammation and the mitochondrial dysfunction which is believed to be causes of insulin resistance.” Dr. Paul Saladino, Dr. Cate Shanahan, Dr. Michael Eades and others have been quoted for above opinion. Please guide.
In this case what happens to the avocado oil? does it get denatured and hydrogenated? please reply. thanks
Tnx
Thing about olive oil is the amount of monounsaturated fats (i.e. omega 3’s and 6’s) is pretty small, so the ratio of 3’s to 6’s shouldn’t be a big worry. Although, if you can switch to Macademia nut oil
Black cumin is not black seed. Black cumin is a different thing altogether. Americans being americans call black seed black cumin.
I have also heard that the lignans in flaxseeds can increase SHBG which is probably not good for optimizing free testosterone.I don’t know how legit this is but what’s your opinion on it?
How one can define “Regular Olive Oil” in terms of oil extraction process. Like we say cool press or extra virgin which is crystal clear there is no confusion to understand it. Then we have olive pomace oil which is also clear to me that how it is extracted. But in this video Joanna used Regular olive oil which i cannot understand, is it pomace oil or is it another category.
This is really misleading imo and it should not be titled best oils for ‘weight loss’.
Weight loss occurs by either consuming less calories per day or burning off excess calories that have been consumed with cardiovascular exercise.
Oils are entirely comprised of fat and are the most calorie dense substances, averaging 850 calories per 100 millilitres.
The person who started this video don’t know or care about health. They are trying to make money from people who clicks to watch this video.
Flaxseed oil has the most omega 3 but as explained in your other video, it isnt so easily and efficiently used by our bodies.
Avocado oil is really good for our bodies but least omega 3.
Sigh… What now? Which to buy?
Visiting in India now. RICE BRAN oil is VERY popular sold as Saffola. Possible slight arsenic contamination but in research I’ve found it is quite OK…
Wow.. amazing video this is what I looking for.. thank you so much for this amazing video.. I love you bestie…. you are my bestie.. thanks a lot..

7 Good Cooking oils;;Cannola oil,Extra Vigin Olive oil,Peanut oil,Coconut oil,,Avocado oil,,Sesame oil,Safflower oil,……..
Canola oil has erucic acid which is known to be toxic to humans…….. eat fats that you can make at home, olive oil, coconut oil or butter are some examples, there is a type of trans fatty acid in butter called Conjugated Linolenic acid which is known to protect the heart and lowering inflammation
Wow.. amazing video this is what I looking for.. thank you so much for this amazing video.. I love you bestie…. you are my bestie.. thanks a lot..
I only wanted to know the best oil for my wok and for deep frying… instead, my brain exploded as i think i heard something about Star Treks Phase Inducer and how the photon cannons work?
My number one go to avocado oil, my number two Olive oil, number three, I love using extra virgin olive oil. Salads, a final drizzle on a meal, I mix it with garlic rosemary a little salt and pepper and love dipping my French bread in it
I tried extra virgin olive oil and cold press extra virgin coconut oil but there are so expensive. Coconut has a flavour like that one of butter

1. Avocado oil
2. Almond oil
3. Canola oil
4. Extra Virgin Olive oil
5. Flaxseed oil
6. Grape Seed oil
7. Tea Seed oil
8. Rice Bran oil
9. Unrefined Coconut oil
10. Peanut oil
I do not agree with the extra virgin olive oil. We use it so much in Italy to cook “spaghetti con le vongole”. The most famous Italian dish is made with pasta, garlic, extra virgin olive oil and pepper and heated up with medium high heat. Btw. Nice tips.
I thought coconut oil had higher smoke point than avocado oil. Coconut oil is saturated fat unlike avocado oil so it should be higher?
Thanx bobbi ur an angel..my freind gave me a heart attack when she told me olive oil cannot be used for cooking for the same reasons u said in vedio…thx will definitely put my hand on this olive oil…..cheers

Its low in fat at 7% what the hell are you talking about! Canola oil is worse than processed piss! How many people will you kill by making this money grabbing video!?

I used to intern at AHA and let me tell you these people have NO EDUCATION!! It is unbelievable the information they put out to the public.
Epic content, finding your channel has transformed my life. I threw out all bad canola and soybean stuff. Only extra virgin now. Putting it into practice on my fitness channel
Bestie is living the content of health. Like workouts and all. Honestly I’m just kinda getting my butt from bed and forcing myself to workout.
Thank you Dear, very important, you might want to touch on “smoke point” and why you don’t want to go past that point; smoking oil is dangerous (the fumes) and should be tossed out, start againt.
Been using vegetable oil since I avoided canola oil. IDK what to use now. Olive oil may not always be commercially available in our area.
Black cumin is not black seed. Black cumin is a different thing altogether. Americans being americans call black seed black cumin.
Is frying it self healthy, say for example even if you used avocado oil. Is it just the oil burning the only thing that makes frying unhealthy?
Bestie is living the content of health. Like workouts and all. Honestly I’m just kinda getting my butt from bed and forcing myself to workout.
Thank you Dear, very important, you might want to touch on “smoke point” and why you don’t want to go past that point; smoking oil is dangerous (the fumes) and should be tossed out, start againt.
It has a really low smoke point. https://jonbarron.org/diet-and-nutrition/healthiest-cooking-oil-chart-smoke-points
Just hearing that makes me wonder how accurate the rest of the info in this is.
Concentrated sources of Omega 6’s are not natural or appropriate for human consumption. I believe they are the main culprit for heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.

(Their role in heart disease has been disproven)
And try to get some omega 3’s in your diet from sources like Wild salmon, mackerel and sardines, as well as flax seeds and walnuts.
What about the mix of sunflower n olive oil they r selling everywhere? I dont know why is so hard to get sunflower oil here, is so easy in S America like good olive oils in Europe

What about the mix of sunflower n olive oil they r selling everywhere? I dont know why is so hard to get sunflower oil here, is so easy in S America like good olive oils in Europe
Some of the info is incorrect! Sesame oil doesnt hav a high smoke point.Canola oil is also said to be unhealthy same with vegetable oil.
Woah man u a true savior in my country ppl dont have enough knowledge i used to cook in Olive oil then i start hearing its not good for cooking lol
What’s the difference between oil spray and regular oil? Why does avocado oil have 130 cal for a tbsp and 0 cal for the avocado oil spray?
Thomas could you please do a research on corn and soy oil? How dangerous are they, do they have Any benefits? Please help us understand more of them. Thanks
