  • The spinach stems need to be removed before cooking.
    Dried herbs in the scramble?
Peeling the vegetables removes the micro and phytonutrients.
Why use canned tomato sauce? Fresh tomatoes are best.
Boiling vegetables cooks out the micro and phytonutrients.
The penne looked almost palatable, but the broccoli was over cooked. What kind of vegan cheese was used in the pesto?
    Canned olives and beans? Feh.
I reiterate. The spinach stems need to be removed.
Why not make the pesto with basil and not spinach?

  • instead of the vegan parmesan, for the taste, you can use nutritional yeast. don’t use too much of it though, if you wanna do the weight loss thing.

  • Great video! Congrats on 4,000 subscribers
One of my favorites meals is steaming fresh kale then add a can of chickpeas, fresh mushrooms, lemon juice and parsley and serve over vegan egg noodles. So filling and easy to make!

  • Your meals are great but I would not have store them in plastic containers because the chemicals from those containers are getting into the food! I would invest on getting glass containers. My family and I are also going vegan. Meat is one of the worst things we can eat!

  • Thank you for the recipes. EVERYTHING good nor SOY, and these dishes are real vegan food where you don’t use vegan processed food. There are 2 types of vegans: The ones mixed real food+ processed and the ✔% vegan where you diced, cut, minced, peel and boiled.

  • I prefer cooking to old school punk rock…PS as an editor, would slower music make the either the video crazy long to make it work or really (The) Clash with the music? Great video…might do this 13 days straight after my Master Lemon Cleanse. Thanks!

  • If you want to be healthy…. DONT FRIE ANYTHING… only at grill or boiled… cheese whithout many salt… no so much butter… etcetera…
here you expose what you want…
extra salt… oil or sugar is not good.. seeds, peanut yoghurt are fat also… bye…

Im so frustrated and tired

  • Thank you so much for the recipes! I’m trying to change my life around by eating better and cut out sugar. You’re videos help me from getting bored and repetitive with meals!

  • I haven’t converted to veganism yet but removing meat and processed foods from my diet has really been good for my health. I guess you can say I’m a vegetarian. I lost my belly and about 30lbs. Lowered cholesterol to normal levels, normal blood pressure, etc.

It’s just a little expensive to eat healthy but it’s worth it. Whole Food, Amazon Trader Joe’s and Juhub.com are great options to find good deals but I prefer Juhub.com though. I discovered a lot of unknown but good brands there. Seriously, eat healthy while young. You won’t have to deal with the health drama that comes when you’re older.

  • Sprouts fight cancer and different illnesses and viruses cells and heal, I have never seen anything better in my life. Huge healing power in sprouts. Here some recipes too https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL_bEwdsYWd4nYXeWWxFl5BlKb7db0leis

  • Me:
eats way too little and weights 41kg
    also me:
    eats normally and weights 37kg

edit: this isn’t a stupid joke. I was really confused when I weighed myself yesterday cause most of the time I weight 41-42 kg and I lost 4 kg by eating bigger portions & eating more unhealthy. I literally ate a lot of ice cream & eggos during last 2 weeks. I don’t know what is wrong with me.

  • This video has good advice, but I’m not sure about the best diet plan that I need to use, only because I have never taken any. Anyone tried using the Custokebon Secrets? I’ve heard some people mention awesome things about Custokebon Secrets.

My awesome channel! I eat high nutrient foods at times to feel better! I go vegan for a week at a time every other month. I eat low fat meats, lots of veggies and fruits with nuts and seeds. I go over some of my own diagnoses that I have experienced. I used to have type 2 diabetes, but since exercising more and dieting with lower carbs, I have kicked that to the curb! Have fun eating well! It really brings the energy and positivity!

Cooking vegan meals can be so much easier and once your taste buds adjust you start to notice the subtle flavours in plants you never knew were there and how delicious even plain old broccoli can be.

  • A lot of people today are trying to figure out the best method to drop weight. Then again, being able to discover a diet plan that will work for you is hard to find. A very important thing you want to understand is that a diet that works for one person may not work for another. And that means you have to understand what your getting into before you start one of these diets. This may provide you enough info to learn if this is something which is appropriate to your requirements. Read more here https://rb.gy/xxjiq2

  • Im interested in plant based diet at the moment. Really wanted to give it a go. Another Youtuber said not to use oil, no peanut buttet, no nuts no seeds for weight loss. Am i able to use coconut milk can to cook, it contains natural coconut oil if u heat the cream long enough?
Also I noticed u used tahini and peanut butter, is that ok to use these?

  • In germany they sell this stuff called “soya granulat”, which is some kind of dried tofu or something. I always used to add it to my chilly when I lived in Germany for extra protein in addition to the beans.

  • I’m used to organized cooking videos. Watching you was just excruciating. Have some respect for the medium.

3:05 I can’t watch anymore. Your aloofness comes across as being very unsure of yourself, an inability to think on your feet nor speak extemporaneously, and knowing that you have no stage presence. For Christ’s sake at least enunciate. Clean your fucking act up.

  • How I got here…watched “The Game Changers” then “Forks Over Knives”… now I’m looking for plant based recipes. How did all of you get here?

  • Last year I experienced what they call “carotenemia”, which turned my palms orange because apparently I was eating too many vegetables; carrots in particular lol. So be careful! (It didn’t harm me in any way but took a while for that orange to go away.)

THIS IS NOW MY HOLY GRAIL! not only was it informative, but the dishes look so tasty, I’ve wrote everything down to prepare in the next few weeks! I hope you write a book for vegan meal prep for training I would buy it in bulk and give it to everyone I know, you sir are amazing! x

  • I saw your book in our library and its one of the most organize, simple, and easy cook book i’ve seen. Very colorful as well! Tbh I did not read the intro or the back of the book so I didnt read the part that you have a youtube chanel I just looked at the recipes. After a day, I decided I want a copy of the book so I bought your book at chapters coz I love it so much and the staff said “oh! I love them too! I always watch them in youtube!” And I just said “yeah! Me too!” and now I’m here. Its my 2nd hour watching your videos.

  • Thank you so much for sharing these ideas! I’m still meal prepping plant based lunches, so these will be helpful in the weeks to come. This week I’ve prepared a quinoa & veggie stir fry with ginger peanut sauce. I like to sneak a small serving while it’s cooling, and its very yummy. So far prepping has kept me from overeating junk in the evenings or surrendering to “convenience” food. Oh, I picked up some garlic hummus @ Aldi’s its so yummy! I love it with crunchy veggies. I even smashed an avocado & mixed ina spoon of hummus for some creamy guacamole! Thank you again for your inspiration S:D

  • How did I not know about this sooner! A cool dude cooking amazing food without needing meat and cheese.Your like the bob ross in cooking! It would be awesome to see a breakfast meal prep vegan edition:)!

  • Thank you for this video. I realized that I am considered “skinny soft” as well. I really want to gain weight as a vegan, just so I feel better when I eat (ethically). My goal is to gain 20 lbs. If possible, can you please elaborate on sample meals that can help with weight gain?

  • I have a question, does this help with VERY skinny Insecure pre teens? Oh can you do one for people that have certain allergies like peanut, tree nuts, eggs etc.

  • Rice, potatoes…that crap will kill you. I use to consume a crap load of that crap. I stopped. I lost 40 pounds my blood pressure is went from 160/100 average to 130/80 average. Increased complex carbs rid of 90 percent of sugar cut 75 percent of salt.

  • What are the pans and pots set called that you are using? And would you recommend them. I also loved the video! It all looks so yummy

  • I love your creativity with writing on your walls! Our family has been going plant based after watching so many documentaries and my husband coming home from deployment working out and finding he had more energy while not eating meat. Your voice is so chill and peaceful!!!!

  • Hi, Any suggestions on an easy plant based recipes book with pictures? I am starting & would like to get my body weight -inside & out:-) as it should be…. Not taking any medications/or allergies, but want to start eating plant based. thanks New sub & new plant based eater.

  • Chickpea water is an egg replacer? How much is an egg? Does anything get added or done to it? How long is it good for? Can you freeze it to use later?

  • So simple, yet so effective. That’s how would I describe diet plan from NextLevelDiet. Now I belive that simplicity is the key to brilliance

  • Sprouts fight cancer and different illnesses and viruses cells and heal, I have never seen anything better in my life. Huge healing power in sprouts. Here some recipes too https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL_bEwdsYWd4nYXeWWxFl5BlKb7db0leis

  • Now I know what it must be like to listen to the Bee Gees talking. I love their music but had no idea what they were singing about.

  • I made this “crack sauce” recipe 2 days ago and absolutely love it. I did have to thin out with a little water each time I used it. I drizzled some over my roast vegies and also drizzled some on my lunch time salad wrap. Thankyou for sharing, will be making this recipe regularly

  • Hi there, I want to know if Custokebon Secrets, will really work for me? I see lots of people keep on talking about this popular weight loss secrets.

  • Great video! Congrats on 4,000 subscribers
One of my favorites meals is steaming fresh kale then add a can of chickpeas, fresh mushrooms, lemon juice and parsley and serve over vegan egg noodles. So filling and easy to make!

  • I like all your recipes, specially excited about the mug cake! But we don’t use a microwave, so I’m wondering if you know is I can use the same mix, and make it in the oven?

  • Suggestion: sauté two cloves of garlic, half an onion and half a green pepper in about two Tbs oil. Add the rice or quinoa in that same pot….mmmm.

  • Dr. Mona, this is a subject I have searching for. I guess there is no money weight gain diets. We have been PBWF for 2 years. I am a good weight, and it’s turned my life around. But my wife who has a very fast metabolism, is 95 lbs and 5′ 4″ and has always complained about being bony. Both sides of our family are light framed. When I see you went from 115 to 128, the task of getting my wife to a healthy weight seems enormous. Our GP says nothing is wrong when she gets weighed. What do you suggest? She is losing hope in the vegan lifestyle because she has lost weight when she could never really afford to.

  • Thank you for this video-everything looks amazing! I especially love how you show ideas on how to use everything. I hope you’ll make some more of these…

  • Everything here looks wonderful. Great ideas, and watching it made me hungry. It’s the first video of yours that I have watched, and I had no choice but to subscribe Also, as everyone has been saying, you have a great voice. You should consider voice acting or do voice overs for commercials.

  • I started dating a girl who only eats a plant based diet whilst I’m very much a carnivore lol. I want to be able cook for her though since that’s what I like to do. Your recipes will help me.

  • Hi Gaz I was looking at black beans…. in packets of dry beans it says as you said they have 20 gr of protein per 100gr, however the canned ones only say 8gr of protein per 100 gr… why?? can someone help here?

  • So simple, yet so effective. That’s how would I describe diet plan from NextLevelDiet. Now I belive that simplicity is the key to brilliance

  • Honey isn’t vegan though? Like I know some people don’t care, but it’s not vegan. And oil isn’t healthy. I guess it’s healthier than McDonalds, but still. Good recipe ideas regardless, just won’t be adding the insect vomit to anything I eat lol.

  • Great video, just be careful about the cocoa powder and research about the link between its consumption and nutrient absorption. Thanks!

  • I love that you made this video. Im struggling with being underweight as a vegan and its something ive felt really isolated about. Its made me feel like everyone who says being vegan makes you malnourished is right. It feels good to hear that there is a way ❤️

  • Last year I experienced what they call “carotenemia”, which turned my palms orange because apparently I was eating too many vegetables; carrots in particular lol. So be careful! (It didn’t harm me in any way but took a while for that orange to go away.)

  • Mona, thank you for this video. I need this. I started going vegan 7 months ago, and unintentially lost 20 pounds since then. Though I feel great, I don’t like the way I look because I was never a big person to begin with. I desperately want to gain back at least the weight I lost. So will immediately be trying your suggestions. It’s sooo hard finding helpful videos on “healthy” weight gain. So thanks again.

  • It would be a waste for you not to shed body fat while other normal people are capable to slim down very easily by using Custokebon Secrets (google search it).

  • I am so pleased to have found your channel, I am new to plant based diet and recipes. I found your recipes so helpful. I look forward to seeing more.

  • This is crazy. I’m vegan and i have a really fast metabolism.. I was trying to find a way to gain weight without eating all the unvegan foods. Thank you so much for making this video!!

  • How much salt and baking powder for the mug cake in this version to put in the jar? The recipe I found on the blog is different and I’d like to make this mix in a jar to have on hand.

  • It’s still amaze me just how a lot of people don’t know about Custokebon Secrets (do a google search) despite the fact that a lot of people lost crazy amounts of weight with it. Thanks to my personal pal who told me about this. I’ve lost a lot of fat.

  • 2 years later, I am still watching this video when I just want to watch a healthy, relaxing video. Weird? Nope. Thank Gaz. This is one of the best.

  • Hello there, I want to know if Custokebon Secrets, will work for me? I notice many people keep on speaking about this popular fat burn diet plan.

  • Ethical arguments against veganism:

    1. If someone doesn’t feel pain, is it okay for us to break their bones? If not, vegans shouldn’t eat plants either. For example, people born with congenital analgesia cannot feel pain and are far more susceptible to life-threatening injuries than others. Even though they can feel discriminative touch and have normal cognition and sensation.

    2. Plants are sentient or self-aware by the same standards animals are deemed to be self-aware. Link: https://royalsocietypublishing.org/doi/full/10.1098/rspb.2015.1379

    3. If a higher intelligence is the reason why animals should be spared from being eaten and plants shouldn’t, then there’s nothing wrong with eugenics either.

    4. Humans are obligate carnivores in nature. Even if it’s for the simple fact that we absorb our B12 in our small intestines instead of our large intestines in the manner of herbivores and are therefore, dependent on animal products for our survival. Our bodies were designed to break down meat. Why is something natural wrong, even if it has features that are unpleasant? Should we get rid of gender too since men have unfair physical advantages over women?

    5. Is animal exploitation wrong even when it saves human lives? Is an animal derived medication or organ transplantation non-vegan? If it is, doesn’t it imply that the lives of a few animals are more important than that of a human patient who benefits from them? Is this needless too? Or should we let nature take its course instead? If we should, then why is it wrong to eat meat either? Isn’t it natural too? And if human lives do indeed take precedence over that of animals, why are vegans against animal experimentation as a matter of principle?

    6. How much food should a vegan eat in a day? And what should they eat from their already restrictive options? Since cruelty and death is involved in the production of every single fruit, vegetable or grain they eat, shouldn’t they further restrict their options by choosing a mix of those food items that will cause the minimum amount of harm to animals and insects while meeting the daily nutrient and caloric requirements of the most amount of vegans at the same time? Shouldn’t there be an upper limit to how many calories a vegan should consume in a day depending on their age, height, genetics, sex and employment status? Since lifestyle choices that lead to either obesity or muscle gain (bodybuilding), cause unnecessary harm to animals and insects since it requires an excess caloric intake on behalf of the practitioner? If we are to enforce these idyllic vegan food rationing policies on a state level, doesn’t the vegan discourse by default devolve into becoming an extension of the broader socialist discourse? If the pros of socialism don’t outweigh its cons, is veganism something practicable or even desirable for the common man to pursue?

    7. Meat is required for optimal health. There are nutrients in animals that we simply cannot find in plants. Then there’s the fact that we can more readily absorb essential nutrients from animal products than from plants due to the lack of antinutrients, which in some cases, can be lethal. Plus, animal nutrients exist in a more bioavailable form in comparison to the plant variety. An example would be the colossal superiority of retinol over beta carotene in meeting our daily vitamin A requirements. Why should we consume a prohibitive amount of nutrient sparse food which is time-consuming, uncomfortable and unhealthy due to its high fiber content and can even ruin our guts? Not to mention the added baggage of supplementation that comes with the unnatural diet.

    8. If both plants and animals are off the menu due to ethical considerations, should chemically manufactured food alternatives and nutrient supplements be the future of “food” for humanity? Why should we substitute food with chemical goo when our bodies are best adapted to and have evolved over millions of years to their current state fueled by an omnivorous diet? The potential consequences could be disastrous for our species in the long run.

    9. In the near future, the already existent cultured meat will become commercially available at an inexpensive price for mass consumption. If a human donor can donate a pound of their flesh to feed a small town in the process, why is it unethical to procure it from animals instead? If altruism is a good thing, why are humans to blame for the shortcomings of animal cognition? A portion of cultured pork meant for human consumption can be fed back to pigs as well.

    10. Why should it ever be right to prevent a man from raising his own animals for food? Why should we infringe on individual liberty? Both cultured meat or a supplement aided vegan diet is dependent on big corporations and the expertise of a small, elite group of specialists. Why should people from other walks of life throw their most basic right away to the whims of a powerful minority? If they get to control our bodies, they get to control our policies as well.

    11. If meat is murder, does that make a pig a genocidal maniac to maggots? If someone kills Hitler, they’re not responsible for the deaths of millions of people he murdered as well. In the same vein, if a pig consumes thousands of maggots or a cow consumes thousands of grass plants in their lifetimes, one is only responsible for a single “murder”. On the other hand, if vegans don’t deliberately massacre quintillions of insects by unleashing an arsenal of deadly pesticides upon them to protect their crops, there’ll be nothing left for them to harvest. Is the exploitation of a single cow or pig that will last an individual years or the cruelty inflicted upon thousands of insects by deliberately massacring them with pesticides for a single vegan meal, the lesser of the two evils? And is meat stealing, if we leave the murder part to an untamed predator? If so, isn’t it still better than a vegan meal since it’s at least murder-free?

    12. What should we do about the problem of obligate carnivores? Should we sterilize them en masse and make them go extinct in the process? In a world free of carnivores, herbivores must face a stiffer competition against each other for food. A herbivore must either ward off, maim or starve its rival species of herbivore to a gruesome death in order to fend for itself and secure territory. How is this any better? How are domesticated animals not far better off in either scenario? Especially where legislation is passed to ensure they receive the most humane treatment possible?

    13. Why is it okay for animals to eat other animals, including human beings, but not the other way round under the vegan worldview? In the absence of a reciprocal relationship under a mutually understandable and agreed upon moral framework, no moral system can exist. Animals can’t form a social contract with humans nor can plants. And are therefore, not worthy of our moral consideration. And if we are to increase our sphere of compassion to animals, why should plants get excluded in the process? But most importantly, why should animals get to eat their proper diet while we humans get to suffer for a cause that doesn’t aid our survival? Should humans not even be on top of the food chain either if we are to take the moral agency argument to its logical extreme? The paradox is that civilization requires mankind to be dominant over other species of animals in order for it to flourish. There’s no such thing as a free space in nature. We cannot extend our animal welfare policies in the absence of civilization or being on top. The mere existence of humans is detrimental to animals on a fundamental level.

    14. If vegans really value animal lives, including those of rodents and insects, shouldn’t they adopt a lifestyle that causes minimum harm to them without being outright misanthropic? Shouldn’t vegans avoid fruits and vegetables that depend on beekeeping? Shouldn’t they take a more anti-modernization stance in general and be closer to nature like the civilizations of the uncontacted tribes of the world? If not, how is the impact of modernization upon non-human animals not tantamount to ethnic cleansing through population displacement in a human context at the very least? Not to mention the crop deaths, municipal pest controls, uprooting of wildlife habitats, mining and a host of other disasters that come along with it. Isn’t it grossly inconsistent to be vegan while reaping the benefits of modernization at the same time? Is the life of an earthworm or a fruit fly less valuable than that of a cow or a dog? If so, is this a morally consistent position?

  • When it comes to eating healthy, you have to never fall victim to modern day fad diet plans. Extreme diets undoubtedly are a danger for your health, especially ones that seriously limit your every day nutritionary intake. Many of these fad diet plans work for a short period and then the benefits decrease after a while. You should look up Custokebon Secrets on the google search engine since it is not just another fad diet where you starve yourself.

  • I love these recipes, I’ll look up regional alternatives to the ingredients in order to reproduce it with regional food, because this ingredients would be a massive carbon footprint, thx for the inspiration!

  • B2? B3? B12? Iron? Iodine? Calcium? Copper? Phosphorus? Selenium? Zinc? Vitamin D (Animal Hormon)? Cystine? Leucine? and other protein not packed into indigestible fiber?
all from the drug doctor or big pharma?

  • The chili is superb, usually it takes like an hour to cook all the beans and make sure the flavors soak in, but using pre-cooked stuff and going heavy on the spices cuts it down to 10 minutes. Definitely try it!

  • I made this “crack sauce” recipe 2 days ago and absolutely love it. I did have to thin out with a little water each time I used it. I drizzled some over my roast vegies and also drizzled some on my lunch time salad wrap. Thankyou for sharing, will be making this recipe regularly

  • Your voice is so down to earth and soothing, whilst the tips and ingredients are actually really fresh and exciting. Thank you for making this video!

  • Honey isn’t vegan though? Like I know some people don’t care, but it’s not vegan. And oil isn’t healthy. I guess it’s healthier than McDonalds, but still. Good recipe ideas regardless, just won’t be adding the insect vomit to anything I eat lol.

  • Like this I found best natural method for weight gain.I think is helpful for others.

  • Click on your video for vegan recipes and the first add they play before your video is for Stoffers Lasagna with beef and how it’s so good lol.

  • Thank you for this video. I realized that I am considered “skinny soft” as well. I really want to gain weight as a vegan, just so I feel better when I eat (ethically). My goal is to gain 20 lbs. If possible, can you please elaborate on sample meals that can help with weight gain?

  • The chili was sooooo good! I’m still new at veganism, but this was honestly the best vegan recipe tried! Recipes like yours makes me feel like I can do on this. Thank you!!

  • In germany they sell this stuff called “soya granulat”, which is some kind of dried tofu or something. I always used to add it to my chilly when I lived in Germany for extra protein in addition to the beans.

  • New sub here! I love all of your recipes I am on my 5th day plant based! I’m so excited and keeping track of my progress on my channel! On May 1st I’m doing a 30 day plant based update! Thank you for all that you do! if anyone wants to support me I will return the favor! #plantbasedjourney

  • These are great! I am just starting a plant-based diet and I was lost with all the recipes and advice. Thank you for posting these easy, healthy recipes for 1 person. Me!!

  • Click on your video for vegan recipes and the first add they play before your video is for Stoffers Lasagna with beef and how it’s so good lol.

  • I just came back to say this coconut oil in coffee is the most genuis idea I’ve heard! Haha I love it. Really moisturizes the lips and it adds a nice taste to my coffee. This video was beyond helpful and I’m confident for the first time to be able to gain weight.

  • This is great! Do you have the written instructions without having to watch the video? This is exactly what I have been looking for!:)

  • I read many great reviews on the net about how Custokebon Secrets can help you lost crazy amounts of fat. Has anybody tried using this popular weight loss methods?

  • I got a little freaked out seeing hot food off the stove straight into a plastic container. When clear plastic starts staining the colour of the food, I figure I must be eating plastic! Gah! I would want to cool it first.

  • I recently had a bit of a health scare and am looking for some meal prep ideas that are healthy and easy. This by has been the most informative and encouraging video I have come across. I will be starting this this week. Thank you so much for sharing.

  • I love that you made this video. Im struggling with being underweight as a vegan and its something ive felt really isolated about. Its made me feel like everyone who says being vegan makes you malnourished is right. It feels good to hear that there is a way ❤️

  • This is a great video thanks very much! I was underweight at a point and it was super unhealthy. I gained one stone and looked and felt great, but I ended up with a belly! Now I’ve lost weight but in the wrong places so I’m dealing with loosing the belly and gaining weight elsewhere and want to do this in a health way. Thanks

  • First and only time I will watchy watch this channel. Lost me with the mixy mix, stirry stir, choppy chop, also you must be living in Utopia where you bought all those ingredients especially fresh produce for $30.

  • Hello there, I want to know if Custokebon Secrets, will work for me? I notice many people keep on speaking about this popular fat burn diet plan.

  • Today i made the chili and its so delicious!! Im a vegeterean for. 3-4 years now and i want to be vegan.. Your recipes help me alot!

  • Thanks for the recipes Jordan…I recently got diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer so I have to change my eating habits to help fight this terrible decease…It won’t be easy since I’ve always been a Meat & Potatoes kinda guy…Wish me luck…Cheers From Niagara Canada!

  • Thanks a lot Gaz! This is very good to replicate, especially during this lockdown, trying to go vegan while working from home for long hours.Lots of love and good wishes

  • The chili is superb, usually it takes like an hour to cook all the beans and make sure the flavors soak in, but using pre-cooked stuff and going heavy on the spices cuts it down to 10 minutes. Definitely try it!

  • I would really like to have access to the Pdf, but although i’ve submitted the email and waited couple of hours, still did not receive anything in my email.

  • Is this also good for weight loss? I start a plant based diet on the 31st and I’ve been searching and looking up plant based meals I can eat on a budget.

  • Nice meal but the best meal prep is no meal prep I fast most of the week I’ll eat what I want on Wednesday and that’s about until the weekend saves me hundreds of dollars monthly.

  • Is this also good for weight loss? I start a plant based diet on the 31st and I’ve been searching and looking up plant based meals I can eat on a budget.

  • How much salt and baking powder for the mug cake in this version to put in the jar? The recipe I found on the blog is different and I’d like to make this mix in a jar to have on hand.

  • This is crazy. I’m vegan and i have a really fast metabolism.. I was trying to find a way to gain weight without eating all the unvegan foods. Thank you so much for making this video!!

  • Thanks for the video. I always get spots from eating too much avocado and I feel like vomiting when eating coconut oil is there any alternative you can recommend? Maybe I’m not used to eat so oily?

  • Can you please share a photo of the tomato purée that you use please? I’m in Australia and our purée is much runnier and the one you added in the video looks more like what we would call tomato paste. Thanks

  • The way to tell this video is fake because the carrots dont go flying across the room when he cuts them
Edit: I dont have to tell you

  • T1D for 22 years, I dislike how we literally have no idea what’s in food. I am studying how plant based diets are letting T1D’S taking massive control, having a 5.0 A1C and even lower would make my life better. Thankyou for this video, I will keep studying and gathering information.

  • I’m seriously considering veganism for health reasons but I also can’t consume much sodium so I’m wondering if it’s right for me…

  • Oh God!! You guys are awesome!! I love you!! I’m a cancer survivor.. And I MUST start eating right! That’s the key to living long and healthy.. Thank you!

  • Just an fyi…. One of the recipes includes honey. Most vegans consider that an animal ingredient and do not eat it. Not trying to be “that person” but just giving the uploader a friendly heads up about this.
Otherwise, enjoyed the video so many carrots though my dude

  • I made all of these!!! Thank you, they are all so delicious. The energy balls were a huge hit with my whole family and the crack sauce will now be a regular staple in our household!

  • The documentary “What the health” brought me here. Watch it, you won’t regret it. It’s an eye opening documentary and gets you thinking about your health.

  • Your recipes look delicious. You do a very good job and I love your music:-) I think the only thing I would do differently would be to either roast my veggies or cook them in much less water because when you put them in a pot full of water, boil them, and drain the water you are draining a lot of the nutrients from the vegetable. Roasted veggies are amazing or steaming them with a minimal amount of water. Great job!

  • This is a really good video, good recipe out there, We have an article about plant based protein sources never to ignore let’s checkout https://www.girlandpower.com/15-plant-based-protein-sources-never-to-ignore/

  • Wow, your cooking is amazing. I’m into cooking so I’m glued in your channel. I love how tasteful your vegan meals are. Good job:)

  • I prefer cooking to old school punk rock…PS as an editor, would slower music make the either the video crazy long to make it work or really (The) Clash with the music? Great video…might do this 13 days straight after my Master Lemon Cleanse. Thanks!

  • Can you give me the exact measurements for the crack dressing. The recipe link is for a different tahini dressing;) I really want to make!! Thanks in advance

  • Me:
eats way too little and weights 41kg
    also me:
    eats normally and weights 37kg

edit: this isn’t a stupid joke. I was really confused when I weighed myself yesterday cause most of the time I weight 41-42 kg and I lost 4 kg by eating bigger portions & eating more unhealthy. I literally ate a lot of ice cream & eggos during last 2 weeks. I don’t know what is wrong with me.

  • Thanks so much for this video Gaz! I’ve tried a lot of your recipes and they are always packed full of flavour, creative and such a pleasure to eat! Love the aesthetic of your videos, wishing you all the best for your restaurant, can’t wait to go when you open!:D

I’m always trying to gain weight because I have a stupidly fast metabolism and I hate eating junk food and meat to try and gain weight because I just feel like shit and I end up fasting it out of my body anyways which leads to the weight loss and my cycle starts over. This was so helpful and I hope more people see this! ♡♡

  • I’ve been put on a high protein diet for training, and it’s just bland, not imaginative or inspiring me to want to eat. THIS IS NOW MY HOLY GRAIL! not only was it informative, but the dishes look so tasty, I’ve wrote everything down to prepare in the next few weeks! I hope you write a book for vegan meal prep for training I would buy it in bulk and give it to everyone I know, you sir are amazing! x

  • Hey you should come out with a vegan meal prep cookbook nobody have one ever made one. I know I would like to have one! By the way you vegan 100 cookbook it so good and I just got it a week ago. But think meal prep is only on YouTube. Never in a real cookbook.

  • I just hope you’re consuming organic vegetables. Or else, you’ve cleansed your body from the toxins of animal products but then overfed it with tons of pesticides.

  • Thank you for your advice. I’ve struggled to put weight on and have a bmi of 16. I’ve been getting I’ll a lot and haven’t had a period in over 5 years. A nurse told me to have complan but it’s full of sugar and unnatural.

  • Thank you so very much for this video! I’m always trying to gain weight because I have a stupidly fast metabolism and I hate eating junk food and meat to try and gain weight because I just feel like shit and I end up fasting it out of my body anyways which leads to the weight loss and my cycle starts over. • im sure this video is educational and all but from the 6 minutes that i actually did watch there was so much in the video that couldve been cut out.

  • Alot of people who i know who still eat meat tell me they eat it because its quick and easy and they dont need to spend alot of time cooking to get good flavour. Cooking vegan meals can be so much easier and once your taste buds adjust you start to notice the subtle flavours in plants you never knew were there and how delicious even plain old broccoli can be.

  • Great video, just be careful about the cocoa powder and research about the link between its consumption and nutrient absorption. Thanks!

  • I got a little freaked out seeing hot food off the stove straight into a plastic container. When clear plastic starts staining the colour of the food, I figure I must be eating plastic! Gah! I would want to cool it first.

  • Love making cauliflower rice! For Taco Tuesday I like to make Mexican cauliflower rice as a side. Put corn, salsa, tomato sauce, coriander, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, S&P. Going to have to try this cilantro lime one!

  • Sometimes these healthy vegan videos bother me. Do they ever eat anything good? Mostly vegetables does not appeal to me. There would be no joy in eating. Healthy is good but mostly vegetables and flavorless is boring.

  • It would be nice if you could change the style of video making I instead of moving camera along while you cook you could put the camera down and cooking, and you could prepare your ingredients before It nice you can do malti tasking but it might be nice and pressure to watch in the different styles, For me I like Pickuplimes kinda stlye.

  • Watch out for GMO grains (rice, corn), beans (soy, edamame, etc.), root veggies (Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes, Turnips), many Veggies includ. Zucchini, Peas, Green Beans, Tomatoes, Flax seeds, Chia seeds, and many many others that they’re practically adding every day, BEST BUY ORGANIC.

  • I read many superb opinions on the net about how Custokebon Secrets (just search it on google) will help you lost lots of weight. Has any one tried this popular diet plan?

  • 1. Almond butter/any but butter: nutrient-dense and high in calorie and fat
    2. Coconut oilorganic, virgin and unrefined.
    3. Avocadouse as a base or eat on its own. Ideally eating 2 avocados a day will help you to put on weight. It can be added to juices.
    4. Seedshigh in fat, food for skin, great all around, e.g. crackers with seeds.
    5. Cacaoso high in antioxidants, high in fats, great in oatmeal

    7. Vegan cream cheese
    8. Protein powder e.g. hemp protein
    9. Tahiniranch dressing, creamy sauce, nutrient-dense
    10. Chia/flax seeds: can add to water and drink

  • TOFU is not good for you. It’s full of GMOS and lectins. Potato is not protein. Rice is not protein and is full of lectins. Black beans are full of lectins and cannot be absorbed and ruin your gut and dont have all proteins and too much starch.

  • I am so pleased to have found your channel, I am new to plant based diet and recipes. I found your recipes so helpful. I look forward to seeing more.

Edit: I dont have to tell you

  • Your meals are great but I would not have store them in plastic containers because the chemicals from those containers are getting into the food! I would invest on getting glass containers. My family and I are also going vegan. Meat is one of the worst things we can eat!

  • thnks for the info!!! hard out here in the philippines to get planned meals… vegan, vegetarian, plant based being all different? confusing! ha ha

  • My mate laughed when I told them I was gonna lose weight with just using Custokebon Secrets, but after I showed these people amazing effects right after I used it they’re begging me to share with them about it. Of course I won’t tell them the details about this diet plan, hahaha

I’m always looking for plant based options to add variety to my meal plan and I can see that I’ll be trying out the muffins and the tempeh bacon per usual I don’t eat desserts but since trying out your mug cake I’m in my third this week, it’s amazing! Instead of oil I just add a bit more almond milk and it turns out delicious and fluffy. Thank you!

  • This is a really good video, good recipe out there, We have an article about plant based protein sources never to ignore let’s checkout https://www.girlandpower.com/15-plant-based-protein-sources-never-to-ignore/
