  • Hey girl! Just out of curiosity, I am really trying to quit coffee…It messes up my sleep so badly and ends up causing me to feel fatigued. I know its not great for me. What do you recommend your patients do when they are trying to quit? I have tried SO many times to quit and am just needing the extra help/push!

  • Literally, everything you made looked delicious and filling. This is by far the most realistic what I eat in a day videos that I have seen thus far.

  • I love that you get to the point in show all 3 meals in a row and don’t take the camera thru the entire day. so much better than other videos

  • This is interesting to know. You gave excellent information about the nutritional values of the meals you featured. I am so grateful that I clicked on your channel and so excited to lose weight.
Thanks you for inspiring me and giving me new motivation to move my body!

  • Hello! I am confused about what you were saying that you should only eat foods that are 700 calories or less per pound, but you recommended quinoa which is 1696 calories per pound. Also, i was always confused because quinoa is a seed and contains 14% of calories from fat. Just hoping you could clear this up! I loved this style video!:)

  • I quite often have chips with my dinner. Recently, I’ve swapped from potato ones to a new kind made out of parsnips, carrots and sweet potato. They’re lower in fat and higher in vitamins, minerals and fibre. I prefer them so that’s a food swap that will work.

Conversely, I tried switching to low sodium salt and I won’t stick with that because I don’t like it. I end up craving actual salt and I don’t like the taste.

one of the secrets to a healthy food swap is to make sure that you actually like the food you’re switching to.

  • I am literally at the exact weight you were before 155 and I’m 28. In high school and early 20s I always naturally maintained 127 to 134ish. I’m 5”5. This is really inspiring I just need to lose some tummy man and face weight man also slimmer thighs

  • Really thought this was an awesome video. I love how you specified healthy food from weight loss food. Super helpful. I wonder what your thoughts are on chef ajs UWL where you eat 2lbs of veggies a day? How much veggies do you recommend your clients to eat daily? I love your mum so much. You and her are just amazing. Keep rocking it! You constantly inspire me!

  • I need to lose 40 pounds as per my doctor….watching your videos motivates me! I’m saving them for the recipes….Thank you so much!

  • I want to try the burgers now! And I’m SUCH a sucker for a side of fries. Sweet potato fries to be exact! Love these types of videos so much BTW ♥️ I’m very much of a macro-friendly options gal because I prefer volume! More chocolate for me any day? YES PLEASE!

  • i love that you don’t belittle your lovely mother for being “sneaky.” i think that’s a very sweet approach. i’m not fully plant based but i’d say i’m at 90%. i just discovered your channel through a youtuber who talked negatively about your methods. i actually like your content and use it as inspiration where it fits into my life. i made your chickpea apple salad recipe which was bomb

  • I love how you emphasize that some food are healthy but not a weight lost food. I think that’s important to know because we don’t want people demonizing avocados and tahini! Thanks for another great video packed with useful info:)

  • Sarah, one way I remember my father is by making “arroz con pollo”, I’m from Cuba. I know that brown rice is healthier than white but i would not substitute it for the white because the dish would not be the same. It is important for me to eat it the original way and enjoy the memory of my dad. On the other hand, when i make Cuban “picadillo” which is made with beef, i make it with very lean turkey and it is perfectly fine. It doesn’t take away from the dish or the memory of my parents. Great video. Very important!! Thank you!

  • Its maybe not that much, but i can tell that low carb food makes you really full. Thats why you can not eat so much calories. Carbs have a lot more calories than healthy fats or protein ( sorry i am from germany, can not speak perfectly english)

  • If you could add the carb and protein content in each of the products and recipes that would be great! Love your content and love you! <3

  • This is the best explainer for healthy (and weight loss) diet I’ve ever seen! Thanks so much for a concise intro to the subject. I particularly like the fact that you support your advice with sound science. A lot of advice one finds on YouTube are basically nonsense without any foundation in science. I’m really stoked! I’m going to start paying more attention to what I put in my mouth from now on. Thanks so much! I’ve subscribed!

  • I love all of these what I eat in a day videos. I’ve tried most of your recipes and I love them and the best part about it all is that I am losing weight! I can’t tell you how grateful I am. You are really helping me to reach this goal I didn’t think was possible. Please post more!! I need all the help I can get!

  • Heyy emmie i would like to see more what to eat in a day for weight loss cause i don t know how much i have to eat on this diet:)) i really can eat a pot of lentils and feel full but i m scared that that s too many calories love you. But i ve seen the video in witch you asked If we want more lifestyle videos and i would really like that too

  • I love that you get to the point in show all 3 meals in a row and don’t take the camera thru the entire day. so much better than other videos

  • I loved this video so much! It really helped me straighten out some of my priorities. For example, whenever I have a “healthier” pizza (maybe a whole wheat or cauliflower crust, maybe less cheese, maybe some veggies on it that I don’t like) I just end up feeling the need for “real” pizza a day or two later. Versus with french fries, I choose sweet potato fries instead whenever they are on the menu, still a treat to me, but with slightly more added nutrients and french fries aren’t a huge favorite for me so I don’t feel like I’m missing out, just that I’m eating something else yummy:)

  • love the breakfast and dessert idea! I already bang with zoodles and shrimp so at least I know i’m doing that right lol. Thanks for the vid!

  • Shes actually eating a higher fat diet than carbs. She could eat more carbs and cut the fat and still amount to the same amount kf calories because higher fat foods have like 50-70 percent more calories than carbs.

  • Even if you want to eat you need more calories. The best way is nkt to be afraid of healthy fats like nuts and seeds and more veggies and fatty fish

  • Your ideas are amazing! I can’t wait to try them, especially the shrimp and zollinies, yumm… what a great alternative to pasta. Can you also do a video on excercises for fertility? Thank you!

  • If you could add the carb and protein content in each of the products and recipes that would be great! Love your content and love you! <3

  • Emmie, Since your Mum mentioned Blueberries…. What are your options on the ‘Dirty Dozen’?? Organic vs Non-Organic.. I don’t eat Organic produce much but i am always hearing about the ‘Dirty Dozen’ so i am just curious.

  • Thank you for all the recipes. I especially like how you have comparison of calories with the regular meals.. I always wonder how they compare so thanks

  • Thanks finally a low carb diet that I can follow. Can’t wait to try all 4 suggestions. Thanks again, I will be following your video’s.

  • Wow great job. In the beginning of June I weighed 135 pounds. I’m 5,2 and 135 pounds is not really a good weight for me. I didn’t like how I looked so I decided that over summer I was going to eat healthy, exercise, and drink a gallon of water every day. So I started to do that and over the month of June I was able to lose 8 pounds. And In the beginning of July I weighed 127 pounds. After that i have lost 3 more pounds. So now I weigh 124 pounds. My goal is to weigh 115 pounds. I only have to lose like 9 more pounds to reach my goal. Does anyone have tips for me on how to lose the last 9 pounds? Even if you don’t, please comment on this so I can come back to this comment and update you at the end of July on how many more pounds I lost.:)

  • Awww loved seeing your Mum again loved the vid, you made weight loss and a healthy diet look so simple (because it truly is)

  • I’m sorry but why the hell do some people cook their shrimp tails on… mixing it all
. So you either take your time picking off the tails later while trying to eat or you just eat them. Most people pick tails off and then cook their shrimp

  • Your ideas are amazing! I can’t wait to try them, especially the shrimp and zollinies, yumm… what a great alternative to pasta. Can you also do a video on excercises for fertility? Thank you!

  • Love these types of videos! One thing I do to make chips (crisps) is to use a mandolin slicer which makes the potatoes suuuuper thin, and then use the microwave!

I know some people are scared of the microwave but these turn out so perfectly that it’s worth it to me to get that true chip crunch!

  • Hey Emmie why is it some people lose their hair and period on a low fat diet despite eating the same amount of calories? Do cooked foods play a role?

  • I love all of these what I eat in a day videos. I’ve tried most of your recipes and I love them and the best part about it all is that I am losing weight! I can’t tell you how grateful I am. • I snapped my fingers at a bowl of chips for 3 hours and they didn’t turn into carrots. then I tried slamming a jar of mayo, trying to make avacados, but all I got was a kitchen covered in mayo. what am I doing wrong payless?

  • love the breakfast and dessert idea! I already bang with zoodles and shrimp so at least I know i’m doing that right lol. Thanks for the vid!

  • I personally don’t like cooked zoodles. I think there so gross and mushy! So I just pour the hot topping over the raw zoodles..
Ps i loved all the recipes. This is stuff I can actually to eat!! Thanks for sharing

  • Thank you for all the recipes. I especially like how you have comparison of calories with the regular meals.. I always wonder how they compare so thanks

  • Hi Emmie! I find that if I add a little bit of fat to my diet (around 20g a day total), I am more satiated and thus eat less calories overall. What do you think? Is it still possible to lose weight despite eating some overt fats? Thanks!

  • I’m sorry but why the hell do some people cook their shrimp tails on… mixing it all
. So you either take your time picking off the tails later while trying to eat or you just eat them. Most people pick tails off and then cook their shrimp

  • I can’t express how happy I am with your post. I am following carefully and losing weight. I have tried many diets and failed. I am 57 yrs old and a chalange to lose weight. I will keep this up.

  • Hii Emmie, I would like to address something: bread has less calories than rice and oats so I don’t understand why you say rice and oats are weight loss foods but bread isn’t. Bread is a starch and low fat so I think WHOLE WHEAT bread is perfect for weightloss as well as rice and oats.❤️
