lol….Your sooo small dude! You obviously gotta lift heavier or actually follow your food diet… If I didn’t already know what to eat for my different cycles I would listen and pay attention to guys like phil heath, Kia greene, jay cutler etc….not a small little dude like yourself
Thank you for your honesty. I’m so glad to see so many more youtube fitness guys and gals be more open about their real paths to success. Food is definitely number one!:) BTW I had an 87 Buick Grand National that ran 11.8s stock turbo and long block. Perfect analogy.
Great video brother. I agree fueling the body is most important. Also thanks for being honest about the steroids. So many people claim to be natty when they are not and people get hurt trying to be like them thinking they are natty
I respect your opinion, however, I don’t think an approximate 40/40/20 PCF split is “Retarted”. And can you provide a source for your claim about wasted protein intake?
Big j I’m 19 and thinking about taking steroids I’m making ok gains living with intensity and eating good do you think it’d be a waste to take steroids
I’m truly grateful that I have came across you guys. I was always in fear about my hormones for a long time, I’m only 23 but it’s been a tough years. I’ve been gluten free for a while now, found out I’m allergic a while back. I loved how Dr. P addresses all these issues because my doctors have always neglected my Questions and reports, which is why I hate going. I just got married and plan on having a child soon & your page has just been so helpful. I was doing the right things but in the wrong way. I was cutting out dairy due to be lactose-intolerant but I wasn’t completely cutting it out 100%. I was working out 5 days but I was pushing myself too much. Getting 3 degrees last year has left permanent stress in my head and I need to learn how to cope with it because I know it leads to my weight gain.
Sorry for rambling but I’m just glad that I found you two throughout this process. You guys make everythingmake sense! I really want to invest time in reading the book and applying it to my health. Thank you!
Thanks for the Aesthetic compliment. -Although I have yet to find any definitive evidence to support the 40-50 absorption at a time statement. Your body takes time to digest calories, so I don’t fret it too much. When doing IF at times I find myself consuming nearly 75 grams per meal. I wouldn’t worry about it as much as I would just getting your macro numbers. Anyway, thanks again and please subscribe if you haven’t!
Yes, they contain fat but very good one that your body needs. Its wasting to separate egg yolks, unless you are on a strict cutting diet. In addition, yolks contain also protein, about 3g.
But I do have a question.. Restaurants are my biggest downfall! And so is drinking with friends. When I go out for dinner with girlfriends they like to drink and eat horrible foods. I’m on the path of stopping that habit. I don’t mind having one glass of wine but my friends are very persuasive and it’s a challenge now going out for supper with them. I want to know what I can do while I’m out for supper with them? I don’t just want to stop going out with them because as a mom it’s my one night to get out of the house lol PLEASE HELP lol
This was why I was confused. I read Obesity Code about fasting and its benefits and how eating often is not good for us…so I was confused when Tallene had suggested (in the fasting/IF post) to eat 5-6 times a day (3 meals and snacks in between)because every time we eat our insulin spikes a little bit. I was confused as how this would help women with PCOS.
WWD story time. I competed my entire life natural. Did quite well and still hold a WR in the deadlift. When I entered my 40’s I wanted to know how well vitamin S really worked. So I took absolute minimal doses of vitamin T for 10 weeks. I was amazed at the results. Not only did I feel better than I had in years, I never had a bad workout. Always had more in the tank.
Personally I don’t care what others take as long as they stay safe and stay out of trouble. As with any vitamins I can see how they could become abused. All the best guys:)
I say this a couple of times in the video, once again, this is not condoning nor condemning the use of steroids. Just information regarding the importance of food when and or if someone decides to take this route. Enjoy!
Can u make more videos about information on steroids big j?? Your a real down to earth kinda brother so people will listen and respect the information you share alot more then some of these other “gurus” good stuff big j love the training videos
Thank you for such an informative podcast, absolutely loved the discussion and I learnt so much!! This has definetly given me guidelines of how I can control my PCOS as well as lot of assurance that everything will be OK in the end, honestly don’t know what I would do without you two!!
Thanks for all the information. I have been trying to go gluten and diary free. I havent done it 100% but I already feel the difference. I had some dairy the other day just to make that it really makes me sick, and it did. I feel horrible afterwards.
I never said I have the same daily intake as this on a day to day basis. I simply did a random full day of eating video. Also, in regards to cholesterol, I’d recommend avoiding trans and high levels of saturated fat, which eggs have a little of the latter. But in my opinion isn’t going to be an issue unless you’re consuming large quantities of eggs on a daily basis. Thanks for posting.
This episode was so informative. I just started my journey going gluten and dairy free as I’ve struggled with PCOS for over 20 years. I can’t wait to see the progress. Thank you!!
Hey Big J, I hear you on the food for fuel analogy. I just started tracking calories and I was surprised at how little I actually ate. One thing I wanted to ask is how do I keep pushing forward and feel successful when there are so many girls and guys on instagram who are huge and ripped to shreds, and are obviously on steroids, when I myself do not use them? I know everyone says don’t compare yourself to others, but its hard when looking for motivation, and that motivation turns to jealousy and such.
this guy knows nothing about nutrition or how the body works. he said that he starts the day of with a banana to put glycogen back into his liver… the only way that is possible is if he is fasting lol
Love this podcast ❤️❤️, very informational, every topic discussed is connected in one or other way. Listening to u guys is like joining a motivational class keep posting
Thank you so much for this podcast I’m loving all your videos. As Someone who is suffering from severe hair loss due to PCOS who was told by my doctor you won’t ever get it back and will have to just live with itI was shattered, depressed and left aloneBut as soon as I have found you guys I found hope and just knew I can change things I would like to thank you guys so much for all the hard work effort you guys put in for all this useful information. It has benefitted me in many ways I am seeing progress I am seeing results. I have lost 20lbs since and still going. Your both amazing and I wish you both lots of happiness and success in everything you do your a thank you once again stay blessed beautiful souls x
I appreciate the input, but I am still curious for a source or research to support this claim. From my understanding in my own studies I have never found definitive proof to support this absorption rate/waste claim.
I love what has been said about knowledge being power when we are young. I am turning 26 this year and have been diagnosed since I was 14. My doctor didn’t know enough to help me properly. She sent me to an endocrinologist who also has not been nearly as informative and helpful as a cyster & her mister. Because of COVID-19 and having time at home I finally had time to invest in my health, and knowing that I would be wanting to have kids in the next few years now was the time to start seeking out help. And then I found your instagram account. And honestly the amount of information I’ve learned in the last few weeks is more than I ever learned from the “professionals” in the last few years. I loved also that Nadia kept bringing it back to the insulin resistance as the issue. Eye on the ball. Which is something I often lose, I’m definitely guilty of trying too many new things at once or focusing on calories etc. This was so helpful! Thank you for doing this.
Oh yeah and that Kashi shit contains Soy which increases phytoestrogens in males big no no when trying to build muscle c’mon man. What’s wrong with you.
You guys should’ve asked her an example of the low carb diet she recommends. How does she eats. What kind of IF she does. But thank you for the good resources your exposed here. Really, thank you!
This has been really helpful! All of your videos on this podcast are just amazing! It has really encouraged me to go GF and DF. I’m going to finish my month this Friday! Can’t wait to see the results
Great video… some real knowledge here. Also, if I may be so bold, recovery is also important. If you take your sups, your food, workout hard but get very little sleep, your body simply can’t recover. I think Big Jay is dead on. You can be jamming all the gear in the world, but if there is no intensity, no good solid food and you are staying out late partying, well no gains for you. Love the vids man!!!!
300g of protein? Regarding a deep research, human body needs around 1,8-2g protein per kg of bodyweight. Exceeding that amount give you just health problems that can appear much later….:-)
You should put shrimps in last, or else they’ll be overcooked. They’re already cooked anyway, so all you need to do it heat it back up, any more, it’s overcooking.
i love to hear all you’re podcasts, everytime i repeat in my head that everything you say are truly facts,Im in the cysterhood and finished my course a week ago and Im so grateful that im feeling my self again!!! you guys are amazing!! these have been difficult times and thanks to you everything is so much better… just subscribed because i listen through spotify.
i’m on 400 gram of protein,700 grams carbs and 120 fat,but that’s just me!!and going strong. You have to find out yourself what works for you, don’t always rely on study’s!!Nice video!!keep lifting!!
Thanks for your post. As I was around 215-220 pounds at the time of the video, I wasn’t even exceeding 1.5. Again, this video is my day of eating. Tailor it to your own macros if you use it for ideas.
I love the 21 day fix but I feel autumn needs to explain things about this program a little better.. She’s kind of all over the place.. I say just follow the book that comes with the program.. If it’s not on the food list DONT EAT IT!!!!!! Simple as that.. If your questioning something for example salsa, and what it would count as, make it your self so you know which containers your using and your sticking to the program!!
I’m commenting late on this video compared to all the other folks but I just wanted to say thanks big Jay for breaking it down for me. It made more sense after you explained it.
Your podcast and the community you have created had been everything to me. There’s so much information out there and being able to find the right tools and listening to others cases has been so helpful in ways you guys can’t imagine. Thank you! I’ve recently discovered my pcos this year and it’s unbelievable how many symptoms I have had that I related to things in my head and not with actual signs that my body was giving me.
I was diagnosed with PSOC 10 years ago and the knowledge that I have gained over the last month of these podcasts/TikToks is amazing. All of the questions I wished were answered when I was 21 are addressed and then some. The insulin resistance was never mentioned and the pill was the only option. It is astonishing the amount of information I am learning that makes so much sense that I wish my doctor had known or shared at the start of this journey. Keep up the fantastic work and I appreciate all of it!
Big J, I’ve been training hard at weightlifting in the gym for a year and eight months, having fun. I got sick, it’s going on two weeks now and I am just starting to get a little better, and I walked out my front door and fell hurting my leg, now using a cain. I an still very week from being sick. I want to get back into the gym but don’t feel it any more. What should I do? What can I do to get the fun back that I was having? All I want to do is sleep. Need help, I feel I am going down with the ship. I am eating and just getting fat.
That’s not what I’ve been told. I’ll look into that.
Also, too many yolks each week would be bad for your cholesterol. I believe scooby1961 said so in a video. He always seperates the yolks from the eggwhites for one reason or another. Tastes worse but I believe there’s something to it.
i love it…… spot on training and the rights foods way before steroids…. very good advice much appreciated….. how about a video on the abdominals ext or bloated stomach how to tighten rem the v shape please please please with all that knowledge give me some…. thankx again big j
Hi, have you tried MUSCleader (look on Google)? On their website you can watch a smart free video showing the best way to grow noteworthy muscle mass fast while losing fat at the same time. James and hundreds of guys with the same goal had good results because of this methodology. I hope it works for you also.
If you would take time to read the comments I have already stated that I cycle different protein sources in my diet. 100% of my protein macronutrient intake doesn’t consist of soy dude. Once in a while I will have a bowl of this. And this video is “A Day of Eating” from myself. I’m not forcing anyone to adopt it as their own.
If you want to bulk your carbs need to be higher than protein. Think of it this way picture yourself building a house and you have a bunch of resources to build with ( aka protein) but not enough workers ( carbs) then your gonna take forever to build muscle. You gotta eat big to get big. I see your conscious about your caloric intake in this video good luck trying to ” bulk ” personally bro no disrespect but its an insult when I see a mini me trying to guide others about nutrition no disrespect.
he is right, ur body can only utilize about 40-50grams protein a meal rest is excess calories, but theres nothing wrong with what your doing at all.. but u could save some extra cash try it out see what happens bro but none the less great video love the macros and looking aesthetic!
If you’re 17 I would just recommend eating whole foods and following the Food Guide Pyramid. When I was 17 I simply ate and ate as much as I could. My metabolic rate was like a furnace back then.
lol….Your sooo small dude! You obviously gotta lift heavier or actually follow your food diet… If I didn’t already know what to eat for my different cycles I would listen and pay attention to guys like phil heath, Kia greene, jay cutler etc….not a small little dude like yourself

Hi Autumn! Love the 21 day fix program….thank you for creating it:) Besides the workouts in your program, do you do other workouts to help keep fit?
Great video brother. I agree fueling the body is most important. Also thanks for being honest about the steroids. So many people claim to be natty when they are not and people get hurt trying to be like them thinking they are natty
This was so informative! She really gave some great ideas with the low carb lifestyle and the IF. I would love her book to help me on my journey!!!
I respect your opinion, however, I don’t think an approximate 40/40/20 PCF split is “Retarted”. And can you provide a source for your claim about wasted protein intake?

oh by the way, MAYAN civilization is dead and has been dead about 2000 years the Spaniards killed them all!! So it is impossible to be a mayan coffee

Jay if you could talk about steroids in a tactful way unlike Rich Piana, you’d be surprised how many people would listen and not judge you.

Oh, I really like how she addresses eating issues. We often forget how much we are eating. Thanku for sharing information with us.
Where can I find out,
If they translate the book in different languages, it would be easier when I can reed it in my language. In this case German
This is 3,070 calories. But this is my own totals. This video was made when I was approximately 210-215 pounds bulking. Hope this helps.
I personally wont take advise from a guy who is smaller than me. Especially from a guy who weighs less than 125lbs. Seriously? You are giving advise?
You are correct. before I started eating right it didn’t matter how much I exercised my abs were still jello.
And one of my friend working in fitness field suggested me this 7 secret food items to kill our jelly belly.
i found it here bit.ly/17zeNFa?=otknv
i’m on 400 gram of protein,700 grams carbs and 120 fat,but that’s just me!!and going strong.
Thank you for committing to this topic and bringing awareness. Your social media pages have been very helpful for my own well being.
Yeah I try not to get complacent in kashi cereal as it is mostly soy based protein, however, once every few days is what I’d recommend.
