  • This is scary! I hope people don’t believe that high fat is a good thing!!!?!? Fat damages your endothelial lining of the arteries, which is responsible for giving off nitric oxide (a vasodilator) and keeps the arteries and veins in a healthy state. Without it comes heart attacks, high blood pressure, strokes, embolisms, et al. This is a lazy way for fat people to attempt to lose weight. His cholesterol must be off the charts. How sad.

  • Yes I tried fasting and doing fasting. I went with 16/8 and loved it. I did that a couple weeks with 2MAD. Then I went to 18/6-20/4… I was okay but seemed like it was harder for me and I was hungry. Then I went OMAD and I crashed. I went back to 16/8-18/6 and 2MAD and losing like a mad man. I think people need to do IF on a gradual basis. You’ll know when you’re ready to move the eating window because you’ll go to make a meal and not feel hungry then push it back.

  • I have a question for the you tuber. The protein cookie butter powder looks great and I was about to buy it because it’s advertised as gluten free on the label. I have celiac disease with mild symptoms. However on the back it says made in a facitory where products with wheat are also made. How can you claim these products are gluten free and then warn its made in a factory where gluten products are made? That’s potential cross contamination. Please clear this up for me.

  • For those of us, that are in ketosis, everything Jimmy has said is true. Every slide that came up I was thinking, “Yep, thats what happens”. From the feeling of well being, to getting enough fat to stop hunger. I’m coming up to 1 year of low carb and loving it.

  • I am sorry, I try to be open to all diets. I will stick with whole foods, plant-based. My stomach almost turned seeing what you actually put in your system on this diet. Zero sunlight, zero live information in that food. There are such wonderful high fat plant foods, there is no need for consuming the animal product, especially the butters and cheeses. I do not understand how owning measurement tools has anything to do with life and how does someone want to be alive while eating so much dead. Health and healing comes so very naturally on a whole food plant based diet. And then there is the ethical and environmental standpoint. I hope you live a long life! You seem to be a very nice man:)

  • Honestly I have never made any of tasty’s dishes especially in this video, who has the time to make these elaborate items on work and school mornings? I myself am in eighth grade and for breakfast I mostly eat cereal or bread.

  • We owe Jimmy alot. This is an old video. Higher fat worked for him at this time but I dont think it is the answer for everyone. If you eat too much fat you are burning less of your fat. I dont think BG is related to ketone level. Heck a T1 diabetic will have crazy high ketones and BG in the abscence of insulin. Key is to be a fat burner. Now we know fasting and being in a fed state as little as possible helps alot towards this end. See Ben Bickman for great insights on what Jimmy is talking about.

  • Bruh… don’t use other brownie batter protein powders. I have attempted this recipe 3 times with a separate powder then the one recommended and it turned out like overcooked cake every time ��. Stinks because the recommended powder has been sold out ��‍♂️.

  • I replaced the Brownie batter with 10g cocoa powder (non sweetened) and 10g peanut flour. Worked pretty well and the result was like that in the video

  • There is so much you can do to improve.
    1. Instead of using a cast iron use a non-stick frying pan and spray oil instead of pouring a cup of it.
    2. Choose non-fat plain greek yogurt
    3. Instead of whole eggs use egg yolks
    4. Yams are calorie dense, use beets or carrots
    5. Instead of honey or syrup use low calorie syrup
    6. Use 0% fat milk
    etc.
    What ticks me off most is that using whole wheat bread instead of regular bread is marginal difference.
    However, the bread pudding was overall a good idea that can be made tasty while these tips do not sacrifice the taste much.

  • So if his CT scan showed zero calcium plaque build-up in his arteries that means that this is basically a cure for atherosclerosis of the arteries??   • I just made these and they were fudgey and amazing! Never going back to my old protein brownie recipe. Also, I didn’t have the cookie butter protein powder because it’s not available for me, instead I used one tbsp of pb2 (peanut butter powder) and 3 tbsps of unsweetened cocoa powder

  • I don’t understand why he’s saying that he did all this exercise and he felt like some superhuman person but when you look at this guy the impression is quite the opposite? I don’t doubt his knowledge but his body just doesn’t show much. Maybe he was really really obese and he’s lost lots of weight. Mind you I will be doing my own transition to ketosis with advice or knowledge in mind. May let you all know how it goes as I’m fighting disease and so far my transition the way I eat is working. However, I now want to get much more rigorous and aggressive with my diet to loose the extra plateau body fat as I’ve naturally lost some. My body just literally unclothed a layer of fat quickly, it hasn’t put any more on right now it’s plateaued so that’s why I need to get aggressive with ketosis. I too have lost body fat to the point I can fit into some clothes I otherwise could not fit into.

  • My mother lived to 107 years from NO PROCESSED foods, and after age 60 she stopped eating red meat (she got gall stones). At that time she also started a serious, daily vitamin and mineral regiment, including amino acids. Her only illness was gall stones that she dissolved? through diet, eliminating all bleached white flour, white bread, etc. She also did a major fast after she checked herself out of hospital the morning of the scheduled gall stone surgery. She stopped taking vitamins at 104 because she said age was finally getting the best of her. She was NEVER needed prescribed medication from medical professionals she never needed or depended on them. She finally died because there was not enough oxygen in her blood. I was literally in her bed, with my arms around her, talking her into her peaceful passing..

  • good vid, basics seem ok, am doing roughly the same, lost over 35lbs already and gained muscle in same period. been on keto 3 months with a 14day holiday in america also inside that. I train 3 mornings a week and IF 16|8 on 3 days a week, lifting days I go with 14hrs, hunger dependant. this process def works, its simple and sustainable. also I do have veg and salad for nutrients, just be smart. I am on 4% carb 17% protein 79% fat, although I do leave a deficit as the fat is a maximum not a hit like carbs and protein. nice video xx

    Custom would be…. an avocado & chocolate based brownie, topped with a creamy, not-too-sweet cream cheese based frosting.

  • Once I made boxed blueberry muffins and thought I knew what I was doing… It came with a CAN of blueberries I added the ingredients and the canned blueberries and it turned the MUFFINS BLUE! like a smurf blue�� turns out I was supposes to drain the syrup that the blueberries were in and didn’t.   • There is a scramble I’ve messed with you guys might like. Nova Scotia Scramble…. eggs (scrambled) with 2-3 oz of wild caught salmon and an ounce of cream cheese. Try it!!! LOTS of fat delicious.

  • They think just because they added some fruits on top is ”healthy” loool. The ideas are not bad but definitely not good for a person trying to lose weight o maintain a healthy weight.

  • On poultry: If you can find ‘real’ chickens raised outdoors on pasture, preferably heritage breeds or a crossbred like ‘Freedom Rangers’ will have more fat on them than the 8wk old confinement raised chickens sold in grocery stores. Bone-in skin-on chicken has a LOT more fat than the boneless & skinless chicken. ALSOduck and goose naturally puts on a lot of fat. Again, they should be raised on pasture. (Goose can be 100% pasture raised, at least during the pasture season.)
