  • Artificial sweeteners like aspartame are neurotoxins. That’s one of the worst things you can consume, ever. Saying, “Go ahead and drink a diet soda, but not too often,” is the worst thing I’ve ever heard you say, Thomas, and no, no one should ever drink a diet soda. It’s toxic every time and for some people, they have massively negative reactions. Not to mention, so many people have an addiction to diet soda.

  • Yes, fire your doctor if they dont have a natural solution. Dmt will show you yehweh is an a.i. god. Fire yehweh and his lectin food book. Trust your own gut.

  • I teach traditional whole food cooking classes (for free) as a Weston A Price co chapter leader. In reference to farting with beans as Dr Gundry says at the end of his podcast, its best to cook Beans with a stovetop pressure cooker; it eliminates more toxins than an instant pot and the instant pot makes beans mushy. The new stovetop PC are very safe! Stovetop PC (faster cook time) actually get hotter than an Instant Pot Pressure Cooker. I have two high quality stovetop PC 5qt and 8qt and an Instant Pot. The instant pot, a multifunctional cooker not just a pressure cooker, is great for set it and forget it but nothing cooks as well as a real stovetop pressure cooker. Remember, Wheat Rye Barley and Oats still have Lectin-Like substances that cannot be Pressure cooked out ever regardless which type PC you use. And if you are going to eat beans (legumes), Dr. Gundry preferes Lentils for they have the least toxins of all legumes.

  • I have a question for you! Why are there some claims out there that claim millet is bad for digestion and should be avoided at all costs? I’ve been eating it pretty regularly as a carb source when I work out. Is it bad to eat every day? Thanks Dr Gundry! local Santa Barbarian, Lauren:)

  • If you want a cheap way to make high bioavailable magnesium, look up how to make magnesium bicarbonate. Just be careful with the dosage because it will give loose stool. If you do buy magnesium supplement, make sure the product label disclose the the elemental amount of magnesium. The cheap quality ones will state the weight of the pill, but not actual elemental magnesium amount so you’ll get much less than you think.

-The body put magnesium at a priority, if you are depleted in magnesium, it will release potassium in order to retain magnesium. If you potassium level is low and you want to increase it effectively, you also need magnesium.

  • Please review the literature correctly to allow viewers to make correctly informed decisions. While gluten may increase zonulin concentrations, increasing intestinal permeability and antibody formation only occurs for those WITH celiac disease. Gluten has NOT been shown to increase intestinal permeability in healthy people ( https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21224837). Furthermore, the article you cited from the experimental and Clinical Endocrinology & Diabetes Journal basically says for those with autoimmune thyroid conditions AND established celiac disease, a gluten free diet decreases overall inflammation and decreases autoimmune response for both thyroid and celiac conditions. While this is great for those who have celiac and thyroid conditions, by no means is this article implying that increased gluten will result in thyroid dysfunction for healthy individuals.

  • Thank you! My new go-to snack is sugar free jello cups mixed with Greek yogurt and/or low-fat cottage cheese, and “toasted” (don’t knock it until you try it!) Lundberg salted organic rice cakes topped with Dannon Light & Fit vanilla or other flavored Greek yogurt. Please try it for a very sweet and salty and satisfy snack/dessert! ❤️

  • The Superman music themes were amusing but really and truly unnecessary! Actually more distracting than anything else. The content was really good enough without the frills. Many times in life Less is More.

  • I have tried cauliflower with egg and seasoned flour it was phenomenal. Keep dredging in the flower about 3-4 times. I usually Kentucky Kernel my favorite or make my own. Lot of flavor. I love cauliflower now. Any cauliflower pizza crust lovers out there?

  • I´m gonna swap bread crumbs for crushed/ground corn flakes:D plus I´m thinking about skipping the,,spray with oil” part, for the extra health punch (plus I don´t have the spray LOL )

  • I went keto 3 years ago and lost over 150 pounds in 6th months then the diet totally stopped and reversed. Gained back at least 30 pounds and stopped losing altogether. Nothing I do will get it started again the diet totally stopped working. Thinking about quitting cause I’m still really fat.

  • Thank you for sharing another facet of your story in another video that communicates so well how foods we are familiar with can affect fat loss. I really appreciate you sharing your story. You are a real role model of on-going success!

  • Prettttttty jazzy!!! I’m taking and making cruelty free!!

  • I really enjoyed this podcast. I can see how lack of sleep has stalemated my weight loss/exercise strides and daily function. Thanks

  • Diet soda does NOT “spike insulin”. This link shows glycemic index of different sweeteners including all diet soda sweeteners: nutrasweet, sucralose, aspartame etc https://imgur.com/a/2e53U2r all that “spiking insulin” is mumbo jumbo “bro science”…I like Thomas a lot, but sometime he just makes stuff up…go ahead drink a gallon of diet coke and test your blood…it has no affect

  • #1 Mountain Dew. 12 pack, sometimes up to 24 pack a day. That’s 290 calories a can, 77g of carbs/sugar. 12 cans = 3,480 calories or 924 carbs. The times I managed to finish a 24 pack in one day was over 6,960 calories or 1850 carbs…. I was 230 lbs at my peak at 5’9 or 69 inches. I was never diagnosed with diabetes despite literally relying on getting up and drinking mountain dew to feel like I had any sort of energy to start moving. I sat on a computer gaming 12+ hours a day, often passing out on my keyboard because I was too tired to get up and go to bed. My mom often got me fast food because I loved it so much so I didn’t have to worry about making food choices besides the Doritos/Hot Pockets in the fridge. I did this between 13 19 years old.

  • The oats you are showing are rolled oats, not steel-cut oats. Steel-cut oats look like pebbles or Grape Nuts cereal. Oat meal, on the other hand, looks like corn meal which could be considered a coarse flour.

  • Thank you for the recipes. I tried 3 out of 4. The cauliflower cheese balls I made them two times. I still have to try the breaded cauliflower. All the best!

  • O Please stop making cauliflower so popular… Next to asparagus this is my FAVORITE. Now those cauliflower prices skyrocket too:(

  • This was amazing! Who knew cauliflower was such a badass?! I appreciate your hard work on this gem of a video. Thanks for sharing your awesome knowledge in such a creative way (for free! Bonus!!). Cheers!

  • No sesame seeds.
I have marble cheese, havarti cheese, Romano cheese and Parmesan cheese but no mozzarella cheese. That sucks I cant mske any of these recipes.

  • WOW…by far, this is one of the most creative and entertaining cooking videos I ‘ve seen…simply Amazing! Who knew that cauliflower could be so versatile. Can’ wait to try the recipes! You’re Awesome; I love your energy, passion & mouth-watering recipes (particularly the plant-based recipes). You’re so much fun to watch! Thank-you so much for the free bonus and all your hard work!!!

  • Easily the coolest cooking channel ever ❤️

Freedom units are fun, but a footnote with Celsius and Dl will make following the recipe so much easier for everyone else

    Loved everything about this video!

  • These meals are delicious. I’ve already made your breadsticks and pudding recipes. For the pudding is the serving size 1/4 cup or the yield of 1 1/4 cup wasn’t sure which to enter into carb manager for tracking and how to enter the latter to save. Thanks in advance!!!

  • I dare you to contact the BBC about doing some programmes very similar to this! An idea whose time has come. You can contact them online to suggest new programmes via Iplayer. Massively different to anything we have seen yet on TV.

  • How do you not have a million yet? It’s happening in 2019 I can feel it. Relatively new viewer, so I’m not as familiar with older content. That was amazing. Putting these recipes into my weekly meal plan rotation asap. First up: cauliflower tots and the burger patties. Thank you!

  • Love how upbeat and fun this video is!!! Who knew cauliflower could look so good!!! Thanks for putting the time in for us. I am tricking my kids with ALL of these!!!! X

  • Greetings from Bangladesh .
My maid has been diagnosed with grade 3 breast cancer. I have been treating her with keto diet. I’m giving her garlic oil 500 mg 2 times a day.
Nigella sativa oil 25 ml 2 times a day.
Termeric boiled tea 3 times a day.
2 kilos of carrot into juice daily.
Spirulina tablets 2 times a day.
Vitamin c effervescent tablets 10,000 mg per day.
Riboflavin tablets 2 times a day.
Cooked tomatoes 2 cups a day.
She’s been taking these around a month now.
She’s complaining the tumour is paining and she had a fever two days ago.
I’m thinking if I’m doing something wrong. I don’t want her to go through chemo and all that nasty stuff. Please help.
    Thanks

  • I don’t know why the 225 people don’t like the video! I’ve been watching YouTube trying to learn how to cook healthier for myself and kids. This is by far the most entertaining and best laid out. I loved the Epic theme of this and you should do more, really engaging!

  • Pov: you’ve come to this video because you have cauliflower and you have no idea what to do with it so you went looking for a recipe.

  • Dr. Gundry, I’m a great admirer of yours!:) fixed my ambrosia allergy by following the advices from your book Plant Pradox. But also, I have a small degenerative disc disease issue:). Following through this video I didn’t get really any actionable into what to research to solve my back pain. So please can you point me into some program or article from Shawn Stevenson? Thanks

  • Like everyone my husband and I have been self isolating during this time, so no Starbucks we decided to leave the house for necessities only. He typically would have at least 2 maybe 3 lattes a day. Well after three weeks of the quarrentine he has lost 5 lbs. we couldn’t figure it out nothing else changed in fact exercise was down. Very enlightening can’t wait to show him this videothank you Thomas

  • Hi, thanks for sharing these recipes. Is it ok to deep fry / pan fry the breaded cauli and the cheese balls instead of baking them?

  • Wow I have been trying to find a ketogenic tortilla for a while now, that is a game changer on its own, let alone all the other stuff!! this is amazing,

  • Drinking 2L jugs of iced coffee, packet chips and store-bought choc chip biscuits made me fat.

Sure the occasional pizza and hot chips contributed but the store stuff was cheap and you didn’t have to wait so i would buy more of it.

I’ve lost 23 kilograms to date since January on keto/intermittent fasting and am currently on day 25 of an extended fast and feeling ok. When i fasted for three days when i was carb-dependent, i was hungry and exhausted all the time.

  • If you’re on Keto and can’t use real bread crumbs just buy a bag of pork rinds, I love the hot spicy ones myself but any flavor you prefer will do, then crush them down to crumbs with a rolling pin, or side of a glass bottle, and use those in place of bread crumbs. I also use pork rind crumbs to “bread” my chicken, deep fried mushrooms, & scotch eggs. I use the same egg mixture to make crumbs stick and sometimes add a dollop of cream to the egg mix too. Totally delish “bread” crumb substitute and NO carbs!!

  • The narrator/presenter has an unfortunate speech mannerism that gives me a headache. It’s the way he says the word “and.” Am I the only one bothered by this?

  • Thank you so much for all your videos. My son he is 20 years old and really over weight. Can u please suggest what is good start up program for him. Doctor prescribed year ago some medicine for his high blood pressure ( he didnt take it because he want fix natural) plus cardiologist find on his heart left side larger then right. And all this issues goes because he overweight plus he used to drink Monster what u mention here in video. Please, any advice and suggestion will helps

  • I don’t agree with the non-fat greek yogurt. Organic whole milk unflavored greek yogurt is the best. Otherwise you defeat the whole purpose. Non-fat gets rid of the good fats.

  • I absolutely love your channel. I cannot believe you use to be bigger. You look naturally small. I’ve recently lost over 100lbs. But I’m still 220 and want to get under 200. But I’m stuck. I’m going to start the fasting you suggested in other videos too.

  • All of the footage shown during the steel cut oats segment are rolled oats. Half of the footage shown during the lentils segment are actually lentils. I am going to stop watching videos from this channel.

  • I love this channel it’s helping me to change the way I eat. Because I live alone, it is too easy to fall into grabbing processed food. Thank you for these reminders to eat well.

  • Wow they are awesome recipes.
I am wondering whether aqua fabre could be used instead of eggs for the patties, or whether you have a different suggestion? I am allergic to eggs.

  • Great content Thomas! Can you please advise; how much ghee should one consume when on an paleo/keto diet, per day? I am currently on a healing diet which is high fat/low carb and use ghee as a regular fat source as it apparently has many great qualities.

I am aware ghee contains 8 grams of saturated fat per tbsp will this not have a negative impact on heart health/cholesterol in the long run? Currently consume 3-5 tbsp’s a day. Your advise is much appreciated.

  • regarding diet sodas and artificial sweeteners…my mom, a non smoker, VERY occasional drinker, very active vital woman just passed away at 72 from bladder cancer after a 2 year fight for her life. she was a daily sweet-n-low user for probably close to 50 years. I cant prove the connection of course but I cant help but wonder if this may have been a major reason for her illness. anyway thank you for your videos!

  • Now I wish I had some Cauliflower. lol. I’m glad there is other recipes for hummus. Then just using chickpeas. All these looked yummy.

  • I think we need to move youtube to a voting sytem.. we get to vote if the title is accurate, cause this one is NOT.. course youtube would loose money if titles were accurate.. thanks for a waste of time

  • These recipes are great and amazing. I feel I am watching a healthy superhero film where every foods trying to save the world to say eating healthy foods will save your life and money instead of junk foods. ️⛹️️️

  • Good menu but the sound effect and editing is so over dramatic. First half of video Sounds like a fighting Scene from a Disney movie and the second half sounds like a chasing scene from a (comedy) cop movie‍♀️. It’s food tube for god shake

  • I went from 210 to 165 in 5 months eating tater tots every morning:P. I also worked out super hard 6 hours later and ate only lean meats with veges in the evening. Moderation folks

  • I thought a research buff like you may want to check out the myth on trans fat: https://sciencebasedmedicine.org/the-trans-fat-51-hour-half-life-myth/

  • With the sound, I felt like I took a tour of the Jurassic world.. Hahaha. Well, amazed to see these cauliflower versions.. I don’t like cauliflower though but I would definitely try some of them.

  • Hi! So… Should I quit my egg protein shake? It contains aspartame as a sweetener, and Just egg whites. Powder form. It helps me a lot.

  • Very interesting. The challenge is maintaining good nutrition throughout chemotherapy treatment. Some tips to help with chemo-induced food aversions can be found here: https://allcareonline.com/food-aversions-caused-by-chemotherapy/

  • Natural Peanut Butter isn’t hard to find at all anymore, and at a reasonable price. Costco’s Kirkland brand comes to mind. Doesn’t change fact it’s still very hard to only have a spoonful though:)

  • Thomas protect your channel and your income and delete the lists in the comments section.

For those that don’t know, YouTube algorithms track how long people watch the video for. If they don’t watch all of it and read the lists instead then YouTube won’t recommend his video because they think everyone isn’t watching it all because its poor quality. If you appreciate Thomas’ channel people would stop posting these lists. He should delete them in my opinion.

  • Loved the interview, will start following Shawn. The comment about Penny and running and that cutting out carbs helped her feel better missed the mark. Doritos are processed foods.

  • I really love that you explain the scientific aspect of your subject matter. I wish my doctor would do that, so I could not only understand the what, but the why, too.

  • Peanuts are not nuts, but rather are goobers, that is of the bean family. Almond butter or butter made from hazelnuts or acorns would be true nut butters.

  • Hi there! Yesterday I have tried the bbq buffalo cauliflower wings and ohhh my god! They were amazing! Awesome flavour! You can’t tell if you are eating cauliflower or chicken. I only used 1/4 cup of bbq sauce mixed with the juice of an orange and a teaspoon of honey because in Argentina we don’t have low sugar bbq sauce only regular stuff. Congratulations for such an incredible channel! #truefollower

  • This talk is really interesting. I haven’t slept in years.:-( I also have osteoporosis and chronic head and back pain from spine damage. I’m inspired by Shawn.

  • Great stuff thomas as always. Big fan. You changed my life brother. Can you tell how to get rid of gynecomastia. I have been doing low carb 16-20 hours fast mostly, sometimes 48 hour fast for almost more than a year now. Everyday. I wanna get rid of gynecomastia. Is there any suggestions?
    Thanks

  • Thank you Alyssia! I am sure it was a lot of work. I enjoyed watching it and look forward to making some of those recipes really soon. God bless you!

  • I’ve read that if you put boiled potatoes in the fridge and eat them at a cooler temp’, they are much better for you than when warm. As for the diet drinks and sodas in general, even when I was like 20 k’s over weight, I never drank any of that crap.

  • Diet soda like once a week, I buy a bottle of 1.5 or 2 liter, cos its cheapier that way, I do 2 or 3 days with it, mostly around weekend, not every week of the month, or in the week a small can if I feel I need something fresh and cool, I don’t drink more than 1 or 2. Sometimes I just drink sparkling water with lemon to have something fresh, I also find beet powder in flat water very refreshing. Peanut butter I sometimes have on my bread slices, I buy then the organic one, I hardly eat peanut butter. I tried the Coffee full cream, that experiment didn’t go so well, in overall I don’t like coffee so much anymore, my body rejects it, I feel sick mostly when I drink coffee, for a long time I been downsizing my amount of coffee per day, I kept to it in the morning to noon as u taught us, I am now on 2 cups a day, its my third month transitioning to Keto, this week I am on one cup a day, then I completely stopped with cafeïne. I only tried one time a latte, it was good, not something I have Always true u must take ur time to drink it.

  • What made you fat is constant eating and food low in nutrients. Any refined food and constant eating will make you fat and unhealthy.

  • Make 100 ingridient ls list that will hurt ur health n keto instead of waitig a year tonteveal the mistakes ull save life with all the fat u motivating people to eat then its too late tonfix the damage..

  • I can’t believe you still drink any soda! that stuff is pure poison and not even a little enjoyable like beer & wine for example…

  • Good list but I have to disagree on the peanut butter, there are plenty of affordable options nowadays that just contain peanuts and salt and it curves your appetite substantially.

  • Hey! Thanks for everything you do, you’re so inspirational. Could you highlight great companies and products that are available in the UK? Lots of great products you recommend are only available in the US and we feel left out. Cheers!

  • lot of people like soft drinks I buy PURE carbonated water. DON”T BUY FLAVORED WATERS they might have artificial sweeteners in them READ THE LABEL
