  • when you were comparing almond butter to peanut butter were you talking about regular peanut butter (like skippy or jif) or all natural peanut butter (no sugar added)? thanks, love your videos!!

  • what about net carbs?..some say only count net carbs when calculating the amount of carbs eaten daily-carbs in a food minus the fiber in that food equals net carb of that food

  • A Huge Warning for those who are use to a low fiber diet… If you go to 24grams (or more) of Fiber super quickly you will be become great friends with your Toilet

  • Is there something I could use instead of the nutritional yeast in the mac n cheese? I’m really allergic to yeast and dairy. I’m also allergic to eggs, soy, wheat, and pineapple. Some of your recipes look so good I want to make them asap.

  • So are you saying that counting “net carbs” is preferable to total carbs? Seems like a lot of total carbs on that chart… I’ve been counting total carbs……

  • Becky…what do you think of adding milled flax seed to the diet? Looks like a perfect low-carb way to get some fiber…plus the lignans are good for heart health.

  • Hi Dr.Becky-could you weigh in on your thoughts on oat fiber? It seems to have a lot of fiber (by its very nature), and is very versatile in low carb baking, etc. Thanks in advance, and for all you do!

  • I’ve never of a blondie…but I’ll take all of them please. Yes…those in the back too.

They look soo good! I’m nowhere near a low carb diet but I can just imagine them with a cold glass of milk and well, it’s rare for a bearded man to blush but you ma’am have made it happen!

    Great job!

  • I want to try chicken and dumplings. The ones I grew up with were made with self rising flour and milk and just dropped in with the chicken, broth and veggies. Both the flour and milk are no no’s now since one makes me itch and the other makes my stomach hurt

  • In Sweden we have this dish called “makaronpudding”, called Macaroni Casserole in English, which consists of eggs, milk, macaroni, sliced carrots, sliced leeks and really any leftovers. I prefer it with sausage and bacon, and you spread tasty cheese on top and pop it into the oven.

SO good! It’s such a comfort food, and GREAT when reheated!!

Here’s a link to a wiki site on the topic: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macaroni_casserole

  • I love how you include allergen free recipes in your videos! I’m both gluten free and dairy free so finding good recipes can be tough!

  • A much healthier twist on sweet and sour pork would be sweet and sour chicken.. or fish.. or tofu.. maybe then we wouldn’t have to use tapioca starch and almond flour?

  • No cheese in the bechamel and no cheese on the top for mussaka. We usually add these to the pastichio. (Not that you won’t see people doing it ).
Breadcrubs for it to brown and have a very slight crunch. Also first time I see anyone adding bechamel on the sauce. Vegetables is something that I ve seen different ways to cook it. Like maybe adding zuchini along with the potato and the egglapnt.
One last thing all spice i think its called (μπαχάρι) is something we also add in the sauce. Nonethess it looked really tasty and you obvious know how to cook delicious foods. Have been your subscriber for some time now:).

  • Good vid. You seem like such a nice, even keel person…every time and very professional. That is impressive. Anyway, I have lost some weight through improving diet with supersalads (with avocado and walnuts and better quality dressings) before my 2 meals and i reduced sugar and refined carb intake. I did not kill sugar completely as i still fight that strong addiction. I still lost weight though so you can still make progress.. I also do weight training and h.i.i.t to boost hgh. H.i.i.t burns fat better than reg old cardio (studies show that). I am trying to improve sleep too. This is not as easy. I ditched the Afrin spray which i think is not good and may impact insulin? Very hard because nasal membranes get inflammed i guess do to my adrenal fatigue from work and life stress at high levels… also allergies. Anyway, my shorts are loose/baggier now. This works. Being sedentary and working all the time in stress mode is not a good formula for health. My entire life i never really suceeded in wt loss and i really only needed to ditch ab 10-15lbs, but this is a good formula. Thank you Youtube and my team of pros of which Dr Becky is one. I will continue to eat my supersalads. It is fun to just go overboard on nutrients. Sorry Chick fil A, Wendys, and Jimmy Johns..and Wawa…you will see much less of me!

  • These ALL look delicious! It looks like you might have found the jicama at Whole Foods? Was it in the prepared section (by the bakery area) or produce area?

  • Thanks Dr. You’re teaching well. Many people are sick and have mental problems because they don’t eat enough fiber and veggies that has high minerals. I believe any sick person of any type of sickness can overcome it when energy is restored to the body that can deal with even emotional and mental disorders.

  • Serious question: how do you measure 4 cups of leafy greens? if I rip the lettuce into medium size pieces and put them in my 2-cup glass measuring cup there is going to be a lot less lettuce than if I chop the lettuce and put it in the same measuring cup. Can you give us a weight measure for 4 cups of leafy greens instead? TIA…. Love your videos. Great information and you present it very clearly!!

  • I appreciate what you’re doing trying to do here. However, if the premise is to recreate a healthier version of fav. classics, it seems this sweet and sour pork is definitely not close. While the flavors may be good, it seems the texture of the pork is off, and the consistency of the sauce is also off. Looking forward to healthy versions that are closer to its unhealthy/guilty adversary.

  • Not sure if you have looked into the research behind a carnivore diet but that is some pretty interesting data there. The biggest take away is that there isn’t a one size fits all diet and it all depends on the person.

  • I knew those fries were made from jicama! They look so good Thank you Liv for more delish recipes for my notebook❤ Oh I also wanted to tell you that my Son looooved the homemade oreos! You girl, are my peeps! Sending Anguiano love ❤❤❤

  • Ree has always come across as Fake and Very Heavily Staged.

Then lockdown Episodes arrive totally proving me right

Lockdown Episodes you have the actual Ree natural making mistakes having a laugh burning things

So why has Ree spent season after season after season pretending she doesn’t act like this instead she’s spent years selling herself as the PERFECT 50s Housewife which always looked Fake and unnatural

  • Tastemade, something’s missing in the sauce because of your poor editing. The sauce wouldn’t be bright red if they only used tamari pineapple juice and tapioca starch. I dunno if itvs ketchup or tomato paste in the small bowl around 3:30

  • A few good ideas here. One thing that I use a lot that’s missing here is bay leaves. In stew and lasagna especially. Gotta have that.

  • so basically a ton of fat added to 2 tons of fat…voilà! she should try the lard and heavy cream smoothie…..so goooooooood!

  • 2nd question: do you put anything else in your salads? I like to add tomato, cucumber, red pepper, carrots, etc. I usually add 1/2 an avocado. I can’t imagine putting a whole avocado in my salad…….

  • Looks delicious.
Have you heard of Chef ChrisB?

Please check out some delicious Jamaican cooking!!! I promise you will not be disappointed!

  • MUY Buenas Noches!!
    GRACIAS ¡¡¡

  • Its a miracle that I am alive today. I encounter HERPES SIMPLEX VIRUS (HSV1/2) for good four (4) years, six (6) months and twelve (12) day with my calculations, before I meet the great Dr. Abumere. I am Tina Richard from Fresno California, united state of America and I was affected with herpes virus.Herpes is a viral infection cause by the Herpes simplex virus, marked by painful, watery blister in the skin or mucous membrane or on the genitals. This was what I suffered for good four years. I have visited CVS Pharmacy in Fresno for treatment but no improvement. I meet Dr.Abumere online while I was searching for herpes cure I read a testimony about his work. I give a try that now becomes a testimony in my life. I contacted Dr.Abumere on Email: [email protected] or WhatsApp: +2349021975055

  • If you don’t have a crockpot, just use an ovenproof casserole or dutch oven with a lid, set your at 200F (just below a simmer) and cook overnight; or, start in the morning and it will be ready by afternoon. Time enough to make some biscuits or garlic bread, and a veg or salad.

  • Very nice recipes! All four of them looks delicious! Love the clear instructions, so easy to follow. I think I’ll go for the macaroni with cheese! ☺️

  • I’m a little bit late, but… Did you add 1 egg to the cookies? That’s what the recipe says in the description box, but it’s not in the video! Thanks:)

  • This helped so much, but I have a problem with eating cruciferous vegetables, I like them but I get easily bloated, gassy and sometimes cramping, even bell peppers and onions do this, how can I eat healthy and avoid all side effects from vegetables? I’m doing OMAD which is working wonders for me but right after I eat, I look pregnant, what can I do?

  • Thank you for your videos. I appreciate not only the helpful content, but also the style. Informative, to the point and classy. I don’t have to worry about bad language on your videos and I am thankful for that… bc it’s rare these days!

  • I just like that I can relate to her cooking. She doesn’t do anything fancy but it’s super good and it’s with ingredients that I know & love.

(not that broadening horizons isn’t fun)

  • Wow Liv! I am going to have to try the blondie recipe and grilled cheese recipe this weekend! I love finding healthy and delicious recipes, it’s SO possible.:)

  • Ree sells a lifestyle that’s totally unrealistic

Her family NEVER WASH THEIR HANDS before eating they just come straight into house and immediately start eating even though they’ve spent all morning with animals

Unwritten rule People are only allowed on show if they spend their entire time on camera telling Ree how Great She Is

    Ask Ree anything shows????

So fans of the show can ask her any question NO it’s her friends and friends and her employee’s who’s asking her the questions

  • I just ate 1 can beef ravioli and 1 can Viena sausage pretending I was eating what you were cooking on this video. I’m so full now. Thanks for making me hungry. Your food was way more delicious

  • That Mac and cheese is awesome. Growing up my family would legit just cook the pasta then add pre shredded cheese and mix it together. That’s it. Haha We kids still loved it though.

  • It breaks my heart to see your channel and others like it still perpetuating and encouraging the cruelty inherent in a meat and dairy based diet. Please, please get educated, there’s safer, saner and more compassionate way of eating…called Veganisn. So for yours and your followers health, the health of this planet and most of all, for the animals please get with the times!!! May I highly recommend these documentaries; “What the Health”, “Cowspiracy” and “Domain”, just to name a few. Hopefully, they will help you down the path of true enlightenment.

  • Is it advisable to take a fiber supplement like psyllium with a meal or in between meals? I’ve heard that it can be good to take psyllium after at least two hours of waiting before and after taking
    Any other supplements or medications?

  • There are multiple studies that show that the benefits of fiber don’t really start until you hit 40 g/day. 25 g is only 62% of the suggested fiber intake and just 7 g about the standard Western omnivore diet. The AHA does recommend 25 g, however, studies have not shown that this amount is firmly linked to a decreased risk of colon and hepatic cancer. My point is that more and more research is pointing to the need for more fiber than 25 g, especially for men. Ideally this fiber should not come from supplements. As pointed out, food choice is critical since it is very difficult to get 40 g of fiber with only a modest intake of carbs.

  • Low carb apparently means full of fat lol. I would rather eat more carbs than fat which is what you are supposed to do anyway. Higher carbs and protein and lower fat.

  • Not to nit pick but those are shells I know other people noticed but we want to make sure you are getting right, all love not hate ☺️

  • Great makeover dish! Yum! Personally I eat about 50% vegetables and the meat when I do eat is an enhancement, I’d rather eat fruits & whole grains. Ummm does Is Nico single if not does he have a brother? Joking I sure hope my boyfriend doesn’t read this

  • I hope I don’t come off as a creep but her eyes are such a pretty blue colour. It reminds me of my late grandma’s eyes, who I really miss. Love both of u!!!!

  • I’m a huge shepherd pie pan and I love moussaka! I’m new to this channel and have been watching your videos and had to subscribe to say hello! I love your recipes.

  • Omg the cookies look delicious!! Can I substitute 1 of the 1/4 cups of maple sugar for coconut sugar?? Maple syrup is expensive to be using a whole lot at a time

  • Hiiii liv!! i made the ‘mac and cheese’ but it tastes ok and I’m sure it could taste better. Do you think the almond milk plays a role in how it tastes? I used the Alpro unsweetened almond milk.

  • Love her recipes but need to eat much lighter….less fat and sugar….or I’ll end up diabetic. But, whenever I need a real boost of extra flavor her recipes would do it for me…. now and then.

  • I have been told by my ophthalmologist, who is a specialist in treating macular disease, to cut out foods high in potassium. It exacerbates the disease. Eating a keto genie diet, this is really creating a problem. Any suggestions??? (He also said he’d rather be fat than blind, but I’m choosing to ignore that remark since the man is actually saving my eyesight.). Thanks for all your informative videos!!!

  • What the best way to measure greens? I just usually fill the large soup bowl I use with my greens mixture, but is that sufficient?

  • I just made the cauliflower mashed “potatoes” (cut the recipe in half though) and it’s SO GOOD. I can barely even tell that it’s not potatoes.

  • Those cookies look so good and I really want to try this recipe, however, the recipe on the video varies from the one you linked in the description bar. I was wondering if you need the egg, and if it is 1/8 or 1/4 cup is maple syrup. Thank you!!!

  • I LOVE this his ladyshe makes great food and cookware I’ve got a collection started of all her things from cookware to curtains I’m addicted lol ♥️

  • The cookie recipe in the description box didn’t match what was in the video. Do you need the egg/flax egg? And was it an eighth or a forth of a cup of maple syrup? Please let me know so I can make these ASAP. Thanks.

  • Can you recommend a good salad dressing? I find it very hard to eat a large salad everyday without a good dressing especially one not made with soybean oil. Vinaigrette does not measure up to ranch.

  • Thank you so much for this video! The table really helped me see that I don’t need to buy extra fiber supplements. I’m going to start including that exact salad in meal plans once a day!! Thank you:)

  • Thank you for the video. I was advised to reduce carb intake to no more than 25g (blood sugar concerns), so I struggle with getting that much fiber without going over 25. I guess I can try it and see how it affects my glucose levels.

  • I get confused with ‘low carbs’ vs ‘ketogenic’ diet. There seems to be less carb room on the latter but which one shifts fat quicker, Keto I guess? Is there a big difference between the two regimes? Thank you.

  • I loooove your videos Just a suggestion…: your intro is always so long! It would be more nice to keep it simple and begun with the subject… because that’s why we are here for!

  • im on week 5 of fasting 2 days per week and im making progress thanks to your tips and inspiration i am feeling less hungry and have more energy throughout the day

  • Talking about Greek comfort food, i dont think that is mousaka.. Mousaka is much more like food of Sunday or of getting together and need some time to make.. I mean it is not the first that pops up on your mind when you want something quick simple or comfort.. Pasta with mince meat, giuvetsi (orzo with meat al forno) or gemista (peppers n tomatoes stuffed with rice) is more possible.
Sometimes pastitsio even if it takes sometime to make it too..

  • It’s great advice but won’t work for me because I had a Gastric Bypass and can’t eat that much veggies at a time and I only eat 2 meals a day. Any suggestions? One cup of cooked veggies and 2 cups of raw greens are all I can handle. And to make matters worse I have IBS with constipation and my gastroenterologist has me taking Miralax everyday. Thanks for all your helpful videos and the 2fitdocs videos too! I enjoy watching you and your husband.

  • Quarantine glow up?
Honey, NO. With that amount of cheese, oil, meat, you name it, I’m not getting a “glow up” anytime soon. Sorry.

  • Olivia and Amanda are the ones who are not the ones who are not so happy birthday Jun and Amanda and olivia are the only Waerloo Iowa in Days in Iowa

  • Can we stop perpetuating this culture that people need to glow up in quarantine? I’m seeing this everywhere! We are in a global pandemic, you don’t need to “glow up”. Instead take care of yourself and love yourself. That’s not to say that these recipes aren’t yummy or fun to do, but their purpose doesn’t need to be for glowing up.

  • I am literally going to make every single one of these. Ive never been happier with one of your videos. Please do more healthy foods videos!!!!
