  • I went to the little girls play house.

At the end I told the guide, “when we had to crawl through that tunnel, and the little girl ran away from us. That was really scary awesome job”. And she’s like, “what little girl?”

  • Found your videos this week. I really appreciate your realistic approach and your shitty hand writing. I never even heard of a coach before. How do I go about finding one? Is there any reason they need to be close to me or is long distance coaching just fine? Ill search your videos, I’m sure there’s one on this. Thanks for your channel and all the things and stuff.

  • Thanksgiving is about being grateful and enjoying our family, not about stuffing our tummies until we feel sick.  Thank you for this video, Dominique!

my cousin broke that same brick, ‘probably’ by accident

  • From 8:50 9:01, the look on Mr. Bean’s face was like he was saying to the violin player “do you have to stare at me when I’m trying to eat?” even though he hated the food especially in a real life situation it would be uncomfortable to be stared at when eating.

  • I notice a lot of people keep on talking about Custokebon Secrets (search on google). But Im uncertain if it is good. Have you ever tried this popular diet plan program?

  • @Dominique Sachse, LOL!  I was JUST wondering this afternoon whether you’d be posting a video before Thursday, since that’s Thanksgiving Day. So glad I checked youtube tonight!:)  I always look forward to your weekly Thursday posts. Happy Thanksgiving!!

  • Another great video! Love you so so so so so so so sooooo much, Jordan! Hearing you over & over just helps everything sink in more & more. I just appreciate you so much for helping us with the mental, emotional aspect of food & not caving in (pun intended) to the emotional, anxiety driven relationship with food that so many of us struggle. Your take on addressing this is precisely what makes you so freaking awesome. Love you ❤️

  • I was once in a escape room and in the captain’s cockpit (or something like that, it was a submarine theme) the floor started shaking and I got so scared I almost jumped on my best friend.

  • #sortinghatsquad

Loving the content! I used to go overboard, because I was depleated. I agree, we all need to work on our mindset first. I am not cutting this holidays season, I’ll end the year strong, staying on maintenance and keeping myself active as usual (gym, running, hiking, etc). Great video, thanks for putting it together.

  • some fantastic advice. i have already told myself that i can have ginger bread cookies (one batch made by me) and eggnog when i decorate at christmas and christmas day. knowing i’m going to have my two favorite things and when, really helps me stay on track the rest of the time. this is what i’ve been doing over the last year and i’m about 3lbs away from my goal weight now:)

  • Every video is amazing! Every video directly affects my life. Thank you
Just finished your newest podcast, 90 day challenge of 3 meals, 2 snacks is where I’m at starting tomorrow. This video directly applies to all of that and helped ease some of that anxiety. You are the best. #sweettreat #sortinghatsquad

  • Omg just found this channel, I am enlightened, this has been so useful I was so lost I think nobody cares anymore I don’t have family support but everyone is used to me always on a diet now but they still negative

  • Great advice here Dominique. We’ve also adopted using smaller plates which helps with portion sizes. I also try to leave at least 12 hours between meals. So if I eat dinner at 6:30pm I won’t have anything else to eat until my breakfast at 6:30am the next day.

  • Great advice!  I try to drink a cup of water before my meals, and we went on a post-turkey day dinner walk through the neighborhood to help with digestion.  Thanks to @emilynoel83 for referring us to your wonderful channel!

  • Dear So Yummy channel your ideas and tips are really great and I love them and I made a mug cake by seeing your one of the videos in that cake the texture of it is not so great so plz give me a tip that what can I do to bring the texture more nice

  • Feel more confident going into the holidays with a plan. Wish I had seen this before I went to Vegas last week and ate like an asshole! #sortinghatsquad

  • It is about that time of year again, time to re-watch this so I don’t fall off track with my diet plan! Thanks again Dominique you are the best!

  • Thank you J. Tracking is super triggering for me as I was that 11 year old kid who was taken to Weight Watchers by well meaning family and my relationship to food was severely damaged. My goal is to maintain throughout the holidays. I’m going to try your 3 plate 2 snack strategy and I love it because I know what a good for my body meal looks like! Also going to plan to keep up my regular workout schedule (runner here with strength and HITT to support my running) and treat my days like normal days…cuz they are. ❤ Much love #sortinghatsquad

  • Last scene was amazing I know that episode when bean was in flight and the same thing he done with that little boy.but now it was savage when he done the same thing with paper that little slap him that savage

  • This is the best video I have ever seen before the holiday dinners. I have lost an extra 10lbs just for the holiday dinners. 5 pounds for Thanksgiving and 5 pounds Christmas I knew I was going to eat like a pig. My cousin’s sweet potato pie. My niece’s rum cake. My husband’s macaroni and cheese epic. Jordan, I really don’t have a problem with family pressuring me to eat things because a lot of them can’t cook. I’m not gonna eat aunt Brenda’s fruit cake because it looks and taste like shit. I’m here for the holidays. I have worked out balls to the wall just for the holiday dinners. I will continue to follow my workout schedule during the holidays to stay focused on my healthy goal weight. But I plan to put in an extra 30 minutes on Thanksgiving morning because I plan to really enjoy my family’s company. Jordan, I love your videos they are so informative. I have learned to be more determined and more discipline to get to my forever goals of be healthy for my family.

  • Hi there, have you considered Custokebon Secrets yet? Simply do a google search search. On there you will discover an awesome guidelines about how you can lost a ton of weight. Why don’t you give it a chance? maybe it’s going to work for you too.

  • Gah I just love the first minute of this video! #strugglebusandrelatable

Also thank you for being so real Thank you and love ya

  • Such a great video Jordan and really well presented. I do like your relaxed style of presenting and the no-nonsense approach. eg next question “How to get back on track?”…answer “just get back on f*ck!ng track”…brilliant! Positive take aways for me are definitely the tip for buffets, as in pick my favourite dish, fill one plate and stick to that. I eat a lot of business lunces which are usually finger buffets so I’ll do that next time. Thanks so much for this #sortinghatsquad

  • #sortinghatsquad This video has seriously changed my whole mindset for these next couple of weeks! I will be able to go into this holiday season with so much less anxiety and be able to truly enjoy time with my family and friends. Thank you for all of your hard work with these videos!!

  • Thank you, Jordan! Exactly what I needed to hear before the holidays. It’s not the holiday itself but the days/weeks surrounding it. I also really like the two options you gave regarding sweet treats. It’s a way to give myself structure but not restriction when it comes to my sweet tooth! (And thanks for always keeping us entertained haha)

  • There are so many take aways from this! One thing for sure, I am so relieved… I know between now and the beginning of the year there will be family and friend gatherings with all kinds of food. While I want to stay on track I also know that a couple meals enjoyed without panicking is honestly possible. License to go hog wild? Nope, I won’t. BUT I do know it will all be fine, pressure is off. And the reminder about just having a taste of some of all those amazing foods is ok helps too. Thank you for this! You have no idea exactly how much better I feel about the upcoming holidays. #sortinghatsquad

  • J! Thank you for this video. I’ve been doing a calorie deficit for 54 days straight (4# down, I’m proud and my relationship with food has changed tenfold) and I was stressed AF about the holidays. This was much needed in my life, as all your help has been. Thanks for helping me help myself. -Jay

  • I like your kitchen and would like to see more of it. Maybe you can make your favourite dishes and speak more about healthy eating for us.

  • Such great advice! I’d love to see a video on maintenance and ideas on how to remain motivated while maintaining! Thanks for your videos:) #sortinghatsquad

  • Your videos have helped me so much. My relationship ship with food has become SO much better recently! Thank you. #sortinghatsquad

  • Yayyyyyy you posted a video this week!! Loved it as usual!! Experience just smaller…I’ve never thought that way on Thanksgiving, I usually go crazy and then feel all gross afterward. Lol I want to change my way of thinking and try these tips this year because I’m trying to lose some lbs not gain a whole bunch. Lol Thank you for taking the time to do this video and I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

  • yeah i was on a rapid waight loss diet and i did eat 2-3 times what i should to just to maintain my wight in Easter 7 months ago (as it is the most calorific Greek holiday) i just avoided refined carbs and sweets but a lot of meat and salad and intestines (btw you must try lamp kidneys with eggplants). i had no problem with my diet and no guilt as i didn’t eat anything that unhealthy like ultra processed food!

  • You know I’m excited for the holidays watching this in July lol!! I do 3 bites of dessert. One to say hello, one to enjoy and one to say goodbye!

  • Wow duh the Holiday is just that one day not the whole fu*king week why have I always let that one or two holiDAY mess up an entire three months
Sharing this with my entire family

  • Hi Jordan,

I was on vacation for two weeks where I ate like (using your word) an asshole.

When I went back on vacation, I weighed myself, I gained 4kg.

Post-holidays, I went back on track, without extra restriction nor exercise. My weight went back to my original weight just in a week.

Could you please help to explain the logic of this? Was the weight gain fake? Because if the weight gain was real, I don’t see how I could lose that 4kg in a week.

Is there any maximum limit of weight gain in certain amount of time?

I hope I phrased my question well.

    Thank you so much Jordan:)

  • This man works damn hard…..seriously I’m literally speechless about his hardwork..god bless him…live long and keep making people happy☺

  • I truly love this lady. Dominique is such a warm hearted everyday lady. I could watch her all day. Food, hair, makeup and such stylish eays with clothes. 2 Thumbs up to you.

  • I love your haircut, it’s beautifull on you! And i love your lipstik too:) what it is (brand and color? hope that i can find it in france::)

  • One time I went to an escape room and once me and my mom solved the first puzzle, it lead to another room and the exit was literally behind the door the whole time and we ran out of time

  • You are such a beautiful and tallented lady. You have helped millions out there. I am 65, but would love to have your hair style. What do you think?

  • Dominique you are classy, elegant and authentic! Thank you for ALL YOU present, care about and share with such confidence and expertise! Love You! My sister and I have a diet biz, Beauty and the Beast Now Handle the Beast within. I’m grateful to share your videos in our eblast newsletters, honoring you along the way!
I have reviewed many of your videos makeup tips, etiquette tips and fashion tips. You once shared about how to behalf in ordering in restaurants. I’ve been again reviewing your videos to find that one, as there’s a friend that quite frankly embarrasses just like you said not having attention on the others in the party. Which one was that? or maybe it’s time to do another! You’re wonderful! LynAnn

  • Amazing video this will help countless people. Thank you all for all you do for us followers. Rico, genius as always with the video

  • Great advice Dominique! I started my weight loss journey Jan 2014 and I didn’t want the foods I would have normally eat at Thanksgiving. I wanted my Homemade Italianinspired Chicken Soup a Salad and Vanilla Ice Cream (small portion sized little cups) for dessert and it is wonderful, delicious, guilt free, no weight gain eating!

  • Love you mr bean it’s been a long long time since I enjoyed my self watching your so entertaining videos, love you man….Iraq Baghdad June 27 th 2020

  • Love your hair. Thanks for the tips I’m trying to make it through this Christmas without waking up the next day and asking myself why, lol!

  • Jordan I will never get tired of telling you how An amazing human being you are thank you for all your amazing videos I really appreciate it ❤️

  • yo brantford is not that far from me. When i was in nursing college i did a couple clinical placements at Brantford General. Small world lol.

  • Poor little Turkey. Shame. Only for one day then its turkey mince, Turkey curry. Shame man. Nobody needs to be killed for me to eats? (41 years later) keep well.

  • My biggest power move was unplugging a magnetic lock, bypassing an entire puzzle into the next room, and beating the previous record by over 30 minutes

  • These are great tips! It will sound silly, but after reading French Women Don’t Get Fat, I realized how important portion sizes really are to having a healthy figure! I’m so excited to see that you do the same thing because you are gorgeous and it obviously works!

  • MY GOAL WAS TO GAIN FAT BUT I PROBABLY GAINED TOO MUCH, still i learned what (healthy) to eat if i want to gain weight and i have digestion issues, (as i was trying to gain weight for 2 weeks and it did not work). probably the less stress was causing this and it was partly caused from starting to exercise after 6 months, this is how exercise allowed me to gain weight (good news is that part of the weight is muscle)!

  • Note to self: chill the f%$k out at Christmas I’m going with the track on non holiday days and use the 3 plate, 2 snack method on the holiday days. thanks Jordan ❤️ #sortinghatsquat

  • Great tip about picking bread or dessert, not both. I will do that when I eat at restaurants throughout the year. Thank you! -Liz

  • I just went off my diet the whole week of Christmas ate like crap lot of junk foods I only gained 7lbs then did a 48hr fast and dropped 6lbs out of them 7lbs so cant really complain for the fact I never tracked anything that week so I also did intermittent fasting everyday but back to my 20 hour fast 4 hour eating window and sticking to 1000 cals a day for a few days then bump them back up slowly to my 1800 cals a day with my intermittent fasting

  • Thank you Dominique for your tips on not over eating, it seems like when I eat a lot of turkey I get very tired where I don’t feel like I could do the walk, but this yr I really wanna try, i’m in an area where I can do the walk. So no excuses. I never thought to use the idea of a tea cup for the good stuff but that will work because then I know how much I’ve really been taking and then feel guilty if I don’t finish it all. From my family to yours Happy Thanksgiving. God Bless

  • Sounds like my “first bite and last bite” and skip all that in between which will taste just the same. Of course this applies only to each type of carbs and fats. Good reminder from you with great visuals! Love your tutorials and have a great turkey day.

  • Thank you for the advice. Being the 1st with my gastric bypass I am trying to mentally prepare. I have lost a little over 100lbs so I don’t want to ever gain it back. Wish me luck and thanks for the tips:)

  • I liked this one so much. It is nowhere near the holidays, but I am going to try to eat the way you suggested on a regular basis because you look so cute it obviously works!

  • Ok, not a stalker here, lol, but love the hair a little longer too, and I would love to see the back, in this video (eating healthy for holidays), is it more layered, or stacked?? thanks Dominique

  • come on plz! only in america….stop measuring just eat healthy and stop stuffing yourself all year around than have a diet coke and measure thanx g dinner…do like the french do eat enjoy small portions but no emotional eating…

  • Dominique, I have to admit that when you showed the little teacup as a measure…I looked like a deer in headlights!!  However, I was super glad you did not say to eliminate the stuffing!! That is one of my favorites! Lucky for me I go for the turkey breast and veggies first. Desserts are usually not my thing anyway. And I would rather have a little stuffing than none at all. Thank you so much for this video. It was really needed for me. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family

  • I hope to loose 7lb extra leading up to a holiday, then enjoy the treats up to that 7lb then stop. This way I don’t have weight to loose after the holiday and feel bad. It’s like saving up for a treat rather than being in debt after.

  • Great video!!  Always a good idea to think of portion control for Thanksgiving!!  You will feel better and not regret anything,  Plus I agree that you should be able to indulge in all the foods:-)

  • Love this so much! I have an idea for an upcoming video. I plan to end a cut phase at the end of the year and go into a lean bulk in January. I’m just starting to dig into the world of pre-workout, creatine, protein powders and other supplements. Do you use any of these things? Would love a video explaining what to use when, brand recommendations and how to use these things in conjunction. (Or if you think they’re a bunch of BS, I’d love to know why.) Thanks for all you do!

  • This is a regular plate in USA???? I am from Europe and our plate is half of this plate or even smaller! So first of all change your plate to a smaller one. Then your portions will be automatically smaller

  • I’m so glad I stumbled upon this video! I love every content of this video! I’m so impressed with your analogies and how humorous you make it, you covered everything that I’ve been feeling anxious about the upcoming holidays and I’m so glad you talked about non holiday strategies. You and Rico and the best!

  • Beautiful as Always… Loved the Tutorial it was very informative…. I tend to eat like you were explaining.  I LOVE my veggies as well as my White meat…..As far as dessert I find myself with couple of bites will knock-out the craving…. the ONLY thing that Might would help in your video is not to play with your beautiful hair.  You did GREAT, Congratulations and Happy Thanksgiving to you….. Coming From Cleveland, Texas XOXOXO

  • Great tips! Your philosophy is very similar to mine. But instead of taking a very thin slice of cake my wonderful hubby always shares a couple of bites of his desert and that satisfies me. My daughter keeps telling me men don’t like that but husband swears it’s ok with him. He’s a keeper! Happy Thanksgiving!

  • You are so wonderful! I just found you today and have watched just about every one of your videos! You are hilarious and so entertaining! I have subscribed and cant wait until you post again!

  • Thank you for The video! Thanksgiving has always been the beginning of the downfall of my diet during winter. I’m hoping to apply this and skip the extra pounds without missing out on the true meaning and enjoyment of the season. Btw, can you do a video on fashion? I love the way you dress, and your practical tips. Thank you!

  • Anybody tried the Fenoboci Diet Plan (just google search it)? We’ve noticed many awesome things about this popular diet plan program.

  • Thank you so much for all of the practical advice and tools. I now feel like I won’t go all YOLO with my lack of self control and nutrition this holiday season, for the first time ever. #sortinghatsquad

  • Some days ago I ordered shell fish by mistake. I tried one and rembered this movie scene:D didnt even Touch the rest of the noodle shellfish dish

  • Me, eating “as much of it as I want” = the entire batch of gingersnaps cookies I baked. I think I’ll stick with the one plate rule this holiday season. Thank you so much for throwing two different ideas out there on that topic. So helpful!

  • This is the chance that I will escape a escape room ⬇️ 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000.1%

I’m a new sub. And I’ve just found out through your videos that I’m probably eating quite a bit too much for my fat loss goal. Getting it sorted starting tomorrow morning (it’s 11pm now). You are awesome at motivating on getting peeps back on track and planning and all that jazz. Thank you.

11:23 13:45 That is too pointless.
    12:17 That will taste disgusting.
13:38 That bottle is to cure tummy aches. Not to drink from.
13:59 Isn’t he too old for this?

  • I looked at this video title thinking “oh my god this is for totally spineless imbeciles”, but when I watched it I almost started crying with relief, and realised that all this time I’ve been terrified of the holidays exactly because of all of these things, and because I’ve been fixated on a “clean bulk” which is unrealistic for me. Thanks man, and stupid me for being so snobbish about this.

  • Happy Thanksgiving! Thanks for sharing your tips with us! I do well on the first plate…it’s the plate at the 2nd stop (my family’s house) that always does me in! LOL

  • Thing is I have to question with it not halting your progress. For example if I go and eat junk food and alcohol and the next day I’m probably hungover so you lose another day and the day there after I’m back in gym and It takes another 4 days to feel how I was before I went out. I just question is it really worth it? I know long term end game it’s not going to make me fat but the few days you lose just doesn’t feel worth eating rubbish for the sake of what%what society wants you to do?

  • Great advice, I wish I would have watched this before Thanksgiving. Do you have any tips for enjoying cocktails without going overboard?

  • just kidding im in great shape but the wrinkles omg around my eyes i went from la prairie tola mer creams and u name it none is working any tips beautiful???/HELPPPP!!!!my husband is much younger…lol..plz

  • Guys. lost lots of fat doesn’t need to be hard (I used to think it did). I’m going to give you some tips now. Get a popular fat burn diet plan called Custokebon Secrets (google it). Thanks to it I’ve lost a lot of weight. I probably should not even be speaking about it cause I don’t want a bunch of other guys out there running exactly the same game but whatever. I am just simply in a excellent mood today so I’ll share the wealth lol.

  • I never noticed the clapping until you called it out haha and you always have great impressions but I think this might be the funniest so far thanks for another great video #sortinghatsquad

  • Jordan, thank you so much for this video. I’m 53 and just started my weight loss journey last month (50lbs to lose), and your help is keeping me on track so much. I feel very confident going into the holidays now. #sortinghatsquad

  • I was at an escape room and I was playing with this really cool wooden globe
Out of nowhere the wall opened up and it scared the crap out of me and I broke it
I just kinda put it back like nothing happened

  • I’m one of the brave souls that will be staying in a calorie deficit throughout the holiday seasons.. I was worried I was going to struggle with this and I realize now it’s because I didn’t have a clear plan. Well, now I do, going to count calories besides the big days and on those days I’m guilt free eating all the food I want on ONE plate.. and you better believe I’m choosing apple pie as my one dessert and going HAM. So thanks for the ideas, feeling much more confident about the next 6 weeks now. It’s so damn true, one meal doesn’t make you skinny and it sure as hell ain’t going to make me fat!

  • Thank you!
I am so THANKFUL to get to message you today! I have watched you for a while, and wanted to speak to you! One of Mt Grandgirls just showed Me, today, how I can message on You Tube! YAY

  • I love your hair colour! I have been trying for a year to achieve it with the warm highlights. I have a very expensive hair salon and I am just not communicating what I want, I guess. Can you tell me specific words I can say that will communicate with my stylist the correct colour like yours. She continues to make me blond with no definition to my hair. Thank you for your channel so resourceful,

  • My cat’s name is name is Bean & he goes HAM on seafood!! Like he literally will steal it off ur plate on the table! He woulda been a very big bean eatin all that!
