The Fats You Should Eat to Help You Eat Less

Video taken from the channel: DoctorOz

It is forbidden to eat the blood of an animal or bird, as it says “And you shall eat no blood of bird or animal”. 17 It is forbidden to eat certain parts of the fat of a permitted domestic animal, as it says “You shall eat no suet of ox, sheep or goat” 18; these animals can be distinguished from the wild ones by certain characteristics of their horns. Once-forbidden foods like bacon and chocolate are now an option again. One of the most harmful food groups for cholesterol are animal fats: Steaks, lamb, bacon, hamburgers, pork, etc., all contain harmful fats. And so, people prone to high cholesterol or sufferers of hypercholesterolemia should avoid eating these products altogether and eat lean protein like skinless chicken and turkey breast.

2. Foods to Eat Instead. If you’re new to the idea of leaky gut, looking at the list of forbidden or problematic foods may seem very daunting.

Fortunately, there are many foods available to you that are delicious, nutritious and easy on your gut. Overall, the paleo or ketogenic diet is one of the best choices for gut health. This diet is based. Leviticus 3:17: “This is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live: You must NOT eat any fat or any blood.” Leviticus 7:22-25: The Lord said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites: ‘DO NOT EAT ANY OF THE FAT of cattle, sheep or goats.

The fat of an animal found dead or torn by wild animals may be used for any other purpose, but you must not eat it. Keto diet foods to avoid including meals that you should not eat. Burger and fries, oranges, pizza, cereals, and potato chips. Sugar, Candy, and Confectionery Avoid all sugar; it is simple as that and has no place on keto or any diet for that matter. 1. Canned soup.

Canned soup will always be a favorite when you’re on the run and have to prep up something tasty. But canned soup is not the equivalent of health, because it contains high levels of sodium, which is the enemy of your blood pressure. A single serving of canned soup can contain about 900 mg of sodium, which leads up to a total of over 2,000 mg per can. For both days I have been told to bring a “fatty” meal to eat during the test.

The nurse suggested cheese and crackers. I explained that I cannot eat gluten or dairy. She said, “Well just eat a couple, that should be ok.” Again I explained the situation and she said well you will need to bring a “fatty. The American Diabetes Association warns that diabetics are at greater risk for heart attacks and stroke and so should avoid foods made with trans fats or saturated fats.

This means you should avoid foods made with large amounts of pork fat, hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils, margarine and butter. The fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails, the two kidneys and the fat that is on them by the flanks, and the fatty lobe attached to the liver above the kidneys, he shall remove; and the priest shall burn them on the altar as food, an offering made by fire for a sweet aroma; all the fat.

Therefore, he claims that the low-fat, high-carbo mantra is wrongheaded, and that a better way to lose weight would be to eat more fat, as part of his recommended 40-30-30 Zone diet, in which 40 percent of calories come from carbohydrates, and 30 percent each from fat and protein.

  • Dr. Oz goes on a morning talk show and states Vegan’s are living the longest…but does he invite Dr. McDougall or Caldwell Esselstyn, Neal Barnard all M.D’s? No he gives people the nonsense they want to hear.

  • Dr Oz why did you skip over the Asian Lady? You don’t like Asians? You weren’t pressed for time, you clearly skipped over her on purpose.

  • Eat Raw Garlic to.
    Cholesterol is Great for you.
HDL and VLDL are all good for you.
Having a HiGh LDL means nothing bad.
Your liver produces VLDL, it’s the SUGAR you consume THAT Oxidize the LDL so it turn into an Bad LDL.
You have to check the LDL Particle count for the Bad LDL, it has to be the PARTICLE COUNT. AND NOT THE VOLUME.

Doctor’s like to show you the Volume and if it High, STATIN DRUGS.

    Ask for a detailed test

  • Just because you look good on the outside doesn’t mean that the insides are good. I would like to see lab results. Meat produces an insulin response. Just look it up Insulin index of foods.

  • 1 tsp of tahini (ground seseme seeds)

Coconut butter has potassium and fat not like coconut butter that doesn’t have the flakes of coconut oil

Full Fat Dairy not skim put tidier on sweet potatoes or soup.

  • Not a single source of peer-reviewed research linked… Well done. Anyone who takes this… Advice..? To heart should seriously learn a bit what science actually is. It is not simply claiming things, it is PROVIDING research that backs your claims.

Her website claims she has analyzed data for years, yet provides zero citations throughout the entire presentation, or at the end. Interesting.

  • Tahini is for hummus, mash it up with some salt, garlic and lemon juice and as much tahini as you like. I also use tahini sometimes as a salad dressing wirh some lemon juice and olive oil. Its very nutty tasting, slightly smoked tast.

  • If fat loss is the goal, one needs to be in a caloric deficit. If one is in a caloric deficit, fat gain will not occur, regardless of macronutrient composition (Fat, Carbs and Protein). Carbs and fats balance each other off in the body naturally, unfortunately Christine doesn’t mention Protein and consuming large amounts of animal protein leads to many non-desired medical conditions such as heart disease, high blood pressure. Plant based protein is much preferable and easier for the body to break it down. Protein also converts to insulin. Christine also blocks critical questions on her Facebook page which should raise alarm bells. Have you tried out her ideas over a long term period?

  • I guess Dr. Oz figures he can still make money if he’s promoting hidden sugars like bread, banana, yogurt etc. can’t make any money off of the keto lifestyle. Doesn’t matter to me if I add healthy fats to toast or any other carbs (it’s a deadly combination) and I will binge like crazy! it’s the carbs which is just sugar that i have to ditch in order to stop my food addiction! Only KETO for me!

  • Goodness this is all wrong, you cannot have carbs and fats at the same time, as they make you gain wieght, go for the fat and shun the carbs lady.

  • Take one lemon and cut it into pieces and put it into a mixie or blender. Pour one glass of hot water or coconut water (if it is available, which will be highly nutritional ). Put one table spoon of turmeric, chia seeds and black seeds (kalongi, Nigella sativa), half a teaspoon of black pepper, one piece of garlic, a small piece of ginger, a teaspoon of cinnamon powder, and a teaspoon of baking soda, a full table spoon of honey and apple cider vinegar. Put in the mixie, blend it and stir it. After that strain it and drink the juice every day fifteen minutes before breakfast after coming from the toilet on an empty stomach and also before going to sleep. This herbal juice will increase the immunity of the human body,, increase the metabolism for avoiding constipation and normalize the body weight and cholesterol and blood sugar and keep the body safe from all sickness, infections and inflammations.

  • How about if you don’t tell us what to eat and everybody will be healthy and happy. It is the media that ruined every healthy diet. Nobody was as sick before as people are now.

  • I am so happy to have you on my phone now I can watch your shows I am 68 years old I weight 190 lb and I’m trying desperately to figure out what this keto diet is because I think it might be something that would work for me thank you for having so much about it on your show

  • Bad grammar: “The highest percentage of transfats ARE contained….” Wrong. The subject of the sentence is “percentage”. Thus, the sentence should read “The highest percentage…. IS contained….” rather than matching the number of the predicate, or the verb, IS, to the nearest noun, “transfats.” A common mistake, but a mistake nonetheless. The number of the verb, or the predicate, should agree with the subject, not with the nearest noun. Surely you can hire an editor or proofreader who knows their grammar?

  • Hi Dr. Following ur channel since three years,ur videos are very helpful.pls make a video on bells palsy.my husband had bells palsy 4years ago although he had recovered but still get numbness in his left forehead behind the ear,his left eyesight is also effecting.Last year we consulted with neurologist and done tests to check the blood flow it came normal.Pls suggest some exercise. Thanks

  • Bullshit! Sugar is just the current fad that the so-called nutrition “experts” attack. If you want to be healthy, it is simple according to my nutritionist: Cut out all wheat, dairy, sugar, animal fat and anything that tastes good. Limit yourself to healthy crap that you have to force yourself to eat. You will be slim and healthy, but you will also be hungry and unhappy. Just the sort of person that no one wants to be around.

  • Come on! I thought dr. Oz had his act together. This was a great article until they drizzled it all over fruit and toast. Right after you got through saying for eating too many carbs was bad for you. Stupid.

  • Raw milk is banned in america because it might contain bacteria known as superbugs. What most people don’t know, is those superbugs are a result of adding antibiotics to cattle feed. Not to keep them free of bacteria, but to fatten them up so higher profits are realized. The bacteria then become resistant to antibiotics hence superbugs. Only in america could such a thing be possible. Oh the irony.

  • Except that high Fructose corn syrup is man made and modified wihile sucrose is a derivative of Mother nature’s kitchen! We also have lived millions of years on food gronw on this planet including fruits and fructose IS NOT a poison. You sound like a globalist with a lobbyist corporation mentality.Don’t listen to him!

  • One can be thin around the body due to exercise and still have well-developed atherosclerosis. Not that your face shows that at all-the fat face says to me, “Stop eating all the animal products!”. The legs don’t lie: you are constantly doing cardio. Where are your blood tests to show true health? In addition, where are the stamina exercises and results (5k, for instance) to show what your health allows you to be capable of? Also: it will never be ethical to kill others who wanted to live.

    On the other hand:

You talk about how eating high carb, low fat diets means eating foods that are replacing the fats with table sugar, HFCs, or other highly processed syrups, as if this were a given.

As a Vegan, I do read the labels and I do avoid table sugar and HFCs myself: I (and I’m sure many other Vegans) are not drawn to products that advertise to be low-fat. (Or if they are naturally, we read the labels since we’re doing it anyway to ensure there’s no animal products, to make sure we like the rest of the ingredients.). If a product shows some type of syrup as the top half of its ingredients? I don’t buy it. I like foods sweetened with fruit: dates, for instance, apples, bananas, pineapple, 100% fruit jellies, etc., and I like whole foods. I do like coconut nectar (made by aging or evaporating it at low temperatures), and a minimal amount of organic raw blue agave nectar in an occasional treat.

One doesn’t have to eat table sugar or highly processed foods with a high percentage raw Vegan diet, that is high carb, AND has good saturated fats, like medium chain saturated fatty acids from avocado, coconut, palm oil, etc., which flush out of the body, unlike animal saturated fats, which are long chain and do not.

I agree fat is good for us: the right kind, though. Our bodies make all the cholesterol we need from plant saturated fats. Dietary cholesterol, however, is completely unnecessary for a long, happy, and thriving life as many long-term vegans are proof of.

  • WOW.. I can’t believe I just watched the whole 1.5 hours of this, right after waking up in the morning before doing anything else. I mean everybody knows that sugar is bad for you, but his explanation is at another level..

  • CHOLESTEROL is NOT a problem.. Blood cholesterol lowers when dietary cholesterol is high. Anything that raises insulin stops weight loss. Low GI, high saturated fat is the only way. Period

  • Salmon Farming is not banned in Washington State. Non-native Atlantic Salmon is banned. Washington state has several of its own native salmon species which are farmed. Its the shellfish in the wild that salmon eat that makes their meat pink.

  • “1 test equals 1000 expert opinions”

I carb all carbs out for a week and ate fat and as much as i wanted and I lost 5.5kg in the first 7 days! I feel amazing as well, razor sharp focus and clear headed and no energy crashes at any point during the day. Amazing!

  • Most of the additives mentioned you refer to being banned in Japan, EU. But almost all are also banned in Australia and New Zealand (both countries share the same food regulation, and hence cover both). BHA, BHT, Potassium Bromide, Olestra are all banned. BVO is not banned but likely to be banned in the future. I think there is a continual theme with food standards in this video though.
Additives are generally in place to either save costs and add to efficiency. The health value of some of these is questionable, but where most advanced countries deem the risk high enough to warrant prohibiting or high restricting their use, they’re generally considered safe enough to use by the US FDA.
Ironically despite this allowing the US to make the production of food cheaper and faster, in some countries such as Japan, there is such an abundance of healthy affordable alternatives alongside US fast food outlets, there is rarely a need to purchase something like a Big Mac to save money when for even less, a decent bowl of ramen can be consumed. This and serving sizes allow the comparison of obesity in the two advanced economies to be contrastive.

  • I permanently changed to the Ketogenic diet 4 months ago and have lost 20 lbs of fat and 4 1/2 inches off my belly (have picture proof), no longer need my Rheumatoid Arthritis medication, after 3 twelve hour work days in steel toe boots on concrete floors, my feet are repaired after one night of sleep, and as of lately, sometimes my feet are not even sore after 16 mile shift.  I am never hungry, I am less irritable, more energy, my clarity of thought and even the passage of time seems to have changed much to my benefit.  I don’t have to get up and go to the bathroom every 2 hours at night, I sleep like a rock, wake up refreshed, my teeth are whiter, bumps bruises and cuts heal in days instead of weeks, hemorrhoids are gone.  My first son has seen the results and has also decided  to convert.   I have watched so many hours of lectures from doctors and authors and other Keto adapted people on You Tube, I was convinced before I started this would be a success.  I also wanted to prove to my family it was purely the diet, so I made sure not to increase my activity level on my days off.  I went cold turkey on the carbs, I figured, since they are an unnecessary nutrient, why not.  I was surprised how addicted to carbs I really was… the first day or two my mind was in a fog, like I was in a dream state.  I almost caved in by the second day, but I was determined.  Then the next few days was weird too, it was like I had a flu or cold, but only the symptom of having to blow my nose constantly, no cough, congestion or  sore throat.  I found out this was my body purging out toxins.  After that initial hurdle life has been getting better by the day, I am still holding off on the exercise, although I have more energy that I know what to do with.  I want to see how much I can actually lose first on the diet alone, and so far it has been going at a steady rate of 1.4 lbs per week and have went 3 holes down on my belt, going to need new pants soon.  So be patient, it might take time to Keot adapt, but it has been well worth it, and I would never go back.

  • Such a good talk backed up by stats. And AMAZING explanation especially at the biochemistry part I appreciate his effort in organizing the talk. Thank you

  • I have said for years,… Remove fat from food & nobody loses money,… Remove sugar from food & lots of investors & politicians lose money 😉

  • Fantastic presentation. Only issue with it is not sure I buy the notion that fruits are ok because of the fiber. And I definitely don’t buy the notion that frankenfruits available now, not just in autumn but 24/7/365, are any better than high fructose corn syrup…

  • This title is misleading. These are not foods you can’t buy in other countries…you are talking about the additives (chemicals) that some of these foods contain. Foods are processed differently in the US because they have different regulations. In Germany we have pasta in a box (only two ingredients: durum wheat and water), potato chips (potatoes, sunflower oil and salt), granola bars, bread, etc. The Germans love their bread, and they are very strict of what can go in the bread. I worked for the food industry in the USA and I can tell you, they don’t care much about consumer health.

  • At 11: 55 she says”  health experts are telling us to eat products full of sugar”  WHAT? what health experts? Where did she hear that?  That lady is a raving lune!

  • Adding what I can get in Iceland onto the list

  • Got on keto diet late 2018. I swear people try to talk to me about cholesterol and how fats cause heart disease . Lost 40 pounds and triglycerides came in at 37 mg/dL. Never looked and felt better

  • Good effort, but the presentation of the science here is poor.
For example, the brain insulin receptor, GLUT 1 is not regulated by insulin. Not only that, she completely skipped over glycogen when explaining excess glucose storage. Glucose generally does not get converted into fat when glycogen stores are not full. You know what does go to fat with little effort when you consume too much? Fat.

  • Nothing about oxalates? Plants are poisonous, lectins, oxalates, anti nutrients, groitagens, etc etc! Carnivore is the cure for plants and sugar poisoning!

  • Guys, stay away from sugar for one month, don’t eat till 6 in the evening, then eat a high quality banana. It tastes like a fucking miracle. 15 times better than any sweets I can can imagine! Fruits are the better sweets. -> Very, very good news: Not eating sweets isn’t an issue since fruits are going to taste better in every way:)

  • Why is it that when a person tries to open our eyes to how we are being duped by the food industry, they get a lot of thumbs down? This man is only trying to help people and yet he gets such nasty comments from who? It has to be people who have a stake in our continuing to poison ourselves with crap. No thank you to all pop and juices. I have always, for the last 40 years had very little juice in my house and no pop. My kids have grown up to be way healthier because of it. My husband brings it into the house for himself and guess who is the only overweight person in our household?

  • This is kinda saying that staying healthy is an expensive process. For a middle-class family in countries like India, where I am from, this is a diet that will dip through your pocket and drill into your heart when you see the grocery bill. Leafy greens? An iceberg lettuce costs about 100rs, avocados cost over 80rs each, almond nuts are over 400rs a packet(what? We need to eat 1 almond every day or something?)…cost of blueberries can give you a heart attack in itself. Whereas it costs only 20 to 30rs(at most) to have two toasts and one poached egg. Oats and seeds are great alternatives but a morning meal with a handful of oats, berries, seeds and yoghurt will cost like 60rs in total. Now, please make these lists thinking the price crunch. It’s just like people saying extra virgin olive oil is better…well, obviously! With 120rs price for 100ml of oil, what else can people eat with whatever left of their monthly income spared for food?

  • The FDA does not permit fast (acute) poisoning, but does permit slow (chronic) poisoning, such as from fructose. So corrupt & stupid.

  • Well, that explains the numerous bouts of food poisoning I’ve had in the UK. Terrible sanitation. Banning farmed fish I agree with. However, someone needs to tell these people that most plants and animals that we consume these days have been genetically modified in some manner over the decades, for instance corn, tomatoes, cattle, grains of all sorts. Without GMO methods, the world would starve.

  • at 58:50, now i understand why i get gout and hypertension at the same time. for years i am suffering with gout attack, even when avoiding red meat, nuts, animal product and seafood. now i’m just need to control fructose intake, especially in fruits and processed food. I’m doing Keto diet from time to time.

  • I loved this video. Please make more on parasites, vaccines with parasites, and autism / parasites. I’m positive a lot of mothers would do anything for this info

The F.D.A. has become a colossal failure.
Big Foods ‘for greedy profit’ has killed more people with processed and counterfeit food than both world wars and all worldwide terrorist attacks combined. Just Google ‘the Swiss milk study’ or the ‘Harvard milk study’, you will find that drinking more than three cups of PASTEURIZED milk daily has the same mortality rate as smoking three packs of cigarettes. Food is sterilized to prolong shelf life. This sterilization process neutralizes or destroys nutrition. t You do not even want to know (but you should) what those nuggets are really made from. They no longer qualify as actual food. Everyone except an uneducated, dolt or ignorant person knows what fried or fast foods do. Drive-throughs are responsible for more deaths than drive by’s. If terrorists wish to maim kill and hurt Americans all they need do is open a fast-food restaurant. The F.D.A. may have started out as a competent research establishment but is now an obsolete deep state throwback to the cold-war era and should redirect their priorities away from politics and promoting the marijuana war and before they allow big foods to kill everyone off.  I also suggest banning enriched flour.

  • Big pharma and the Carb food industrial complex have all the politicians in the pocket and are anally reaming the general public into early avoidable deaths and their hard earned money. Thank fuck I woke up two months ago and went onto a ketogenic diet.

lost 25 pounds and I feel like a million bucks.

  • The guy that is making the speech is totally correct it’s the commonest it’s the phony people it’s the bankers it’s Wall Street people wake up they would rather kill us and that’s the truth I speak the truth and so does that guy talkin but I’m a little heavier because the point is Mother Earth can’t even quite survive so what is it about 99% of the Earth of people the elite underground communist you name it they want to kill everybody except that last one percent of people until they get their head together and Donald J Trump run some out of office throughout the world were not safe thank you

  • Fiber does nothing to keep your blood sugar down. This is a total lie and humans don’t need fiber to be healthy. Only eat a whole food ketogenic diet to stay healthy.

  • Should I be avoiding walnuts? They’re quite high in Polyunsaturated fat. 30 grams of walnuts contain 14 grams of polyunsaturated fat.

  • So, this just popped up again in my YT recommendations. I first saw this video about 10 years ago, watched it a few times, found it interesting but didn’t take the message to heart. And now I’m a decade older and 50+ pounds heavier.

    Don’t be me.

  • Saturated fat is good for you…  Bahahaha, what a laugh!  The American Heart Association flat out says the OPPOSITE!  Who are you going to trust?  This woman over the AHA?  I could also cite the Harvard School of Public Health but what do they know?

  • Welcome to 2019 where there are too many laws and regulation,we are just standing here and looking at everything is being illegal…

  • Just watched this in 2020. What a great upload. I’ve been aware of the dangers of Sugars and Sweeteners since being a child. Dad told me many years ago “If it rots ya teeth it rots ya bones” Guess mi Pops was right. Just wish more people understood the dangers. Thanks UCTV enjoyed watching. Take care and be aware

  • Generallty you do not need meat or vegetables but NUTRIENTS and that is what missing these days and that’s why it is a huge business theyse days…

  • I love vegetables…..especially cabbage, broccoli and brussel sprouts.
    Thank you Dr. Mandel.
Love your very interesting and life saving videos. ✨

  • This is what Nina Teicholz, on page 40 of Big Fat Surprise, wrote regarding Keys studies in Greece… “I looked more closely into the dietary data on Greece, because it became the exemplar for the Mediterranean diet, and I found one of the most stunning and troubling errors. In that country, Keys had sampled the diets on Crete and Korfu more than once, in different seasons, in order to capture variations in the food eaten. Yet in an astonishing oversight, one of the surveys on Crete fell during the forty-eight-day fasting period of Lent. How would this have affected the diet? “The Greek Orthodox fast is a strict one and means abstaining from all foods of animal origin, including fish, cheese, eggs and butter.” wrote a contemporary observer. Since the foods avoided during Lent are the principal sources of saturated fat, a sampling of the diet during this holiday season would obviously undercount that nutrient. A study conducted on Crete in 2000 and 2001 showed that saturated-fat consumption halved during lent.”

  • Sugar is not beneficial! It’s addictive and should be avoided. Do your own research see how you feel months after cutting it from your diet. Simple as that!

  • Benefits of a high-fiber diet

Normalizes bowel movements. Dietary fiber increases the weight and size of your stool and softens it.
    Helps maintain bowel health.

    Lowers cholesterol levels.

    Helps control blood sugar levels.

    Aids in achieving healthy weight.

    Helps you live longer.

  • Maybe I just don’t know what a cereal bar is, but the results I get when I search for it on google, we got those here in Denmark.. Everywhere… Sooo.. Banned? I don’t quite think so, nice try tho 😉

  • Avoid seed oils like canola, corn and soy oils.
Eat olive oil, coconut oil, ghee or butter in moderation and don’t be afraid of their saturated fat. (Their role in heart disease has been disproven)
And try to get some omega 3’s in your diet from sources like Wild salmon, mackerel and sardines, as well as flax seeds and walnuts.

  • You should not try to eat less, you should try to eat more. If you eat lots of veggies, then you can eat all you want. For example one large head of cabbage is 307 calories; one large head of cauliflower 210 calories. It will take days to eat one large head of cabbage or a large head of cauliflower. Therefore, you can fill up your plate with this steamed veggie with onions, garlic, tomatoes, olive oil etc and a small portion of meat. Get the picture? You don’t have to count calories or starve yourself, you need the nutrition in veggies and fruits.

  • High fiber Rules!.unless you have SIBO…
(I have to admit that the title of this video would be misleading if you didn’t see the content 😉
    Thank You Dr Mandell

  • Carnivores like Eskimos/Inuit have a lifespan which is 12 years shorter than average Canadian. Mongolians and Masai also do not have long lifespan. Check it out.

On the other hand, the blue zones, world’s 7 longest lived communities, eat predominantly plant based diet. Also based on WHO records, the top 3 countries with the higest life expectancy Monaco (89 years), japan and singapore (85 years) have predominantly plant based diet. Their meat consumption per capita is only 70% or less compared to USA meat consumption of 120kg per person per year.

Ancient china Imperial records also suggest superiority of predominantly plant based diet. Out of 250 Emperors, who feasted on meat, only 4% lived to beyond 70. Whereas out of 400 abbots of Imperial temples, who were vegetarian, 70% lived to beyond 70 years, a great achievement in ancient times.

Which high meat consumption community/country can match above records? We should not confuse high refined carb which is causing obesity/chronic illness with whole plant food eaten by mankind over the centuries.

Human is not designed to eat 100% meat considering
    a) our cisors and canine teeth for meat eating is only 12% of our tooth structure.
    b) the acidity of our digestive juice is only a fraction that of a carnivore.
    c) the length of our intestine is multiples that of carnivore and approach that of herbivore.
    d) even fast growing babies protein consuption is only 7% of their diet considering human milk only contain 1% protein.
    e) kidney patients are advised to keep a low animal protein diet to avoid further stress to their kidneys.
    f) scientists studying microbiome reported that best microbiome is found in diet containing fruits and vegetables.
    g) research on anti aging suggest that high protein diet activate mtor pathway which accelerate aging.
    h) the way animals are reared and meat cooked introduce too much carcinogens.

I am not advocating a vegetarian diet but just cautioning that a high protein/high fat diet long term may be going to the other extreme which does not promote longevity. Cheers.

  • Fibres don’t go very well with people who have SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth), they already have lots of good bacteria overgrowth in the wrong place(small intestine) good bacterias produce more and more fermentation out of these fibres and makes matters worse such as more bloating more cramping and stuff. So the wiser thing would b to not consume too much fibre or slowly introduce the vegetable u r not comfortable in your diet and increase the consumption day by day until u r absolutely comfortable with it.

  • In South Africa beef Oxo cubes (beef stock cubes from the UK) are banned and this goes back to the outbreak of “made cow decease” in the UK over 20 years ago. They and other beef products were also banned in many other countries at the time but the ban was lifted once the decease was under control. In South Africa the (inept) government has never got around to unbanning them so we can only get them when somebody comes to visit from the UK

  • I have watched this many times. The case against sugar and vegetable oils in my view are both relevant. Processed foods are toxic, refined grains, sugar and vegetable oils are harmful. Vegan, keto, paleo, carnivore all work.

  • He has a snotty attitude throughout the entire part of his presention that I managed to listen too. It became too much when he alludes to occupational and professional bias in others without any evidence other than their results disagree with his desired conclusions. Sounds like a typical leftist. Maybe he’s projecting. His word cannot be trusted. Too bad. He might be hysterical but still right.

  • I like what he has to say, but he’s missing the key culprit, that holy grail. its processed seed oils that cause the insulin resistance, as Dr. Knobbe so brilliantly pointed out.

  • Thank you very much sir. You always make valuable videos and it helps alot to understand our diet.

Thank you very much mankind’s Angel ♥️

God Bless you…….. lots of Love

  • Fructose from fruits and vegetables are fine. Added sugar is what you need to avoid. The human body requires some amount of sugar.

  • This was embarrassing to watch. Even 5 minutes made my skin crawl. No acknowledgement of the flood of carbs and the sugar in their little treats. Sheesh.

  • jessica k I think you missed the point dont you? The presenter makes a lot of sense we are all entitled to an opinion but smartass remarks unrelated to the video maybe show us your true colours.

  • Our bodies produces cholesterol itself, and our cell membranes prefer unsaturated to saturated to maintain fluidity. This high fat /low carb diet is not scientifically supported. It’s Russian roulette.

  • Chlorine washed chicken ban in Europe is just protectionism as they chlorine wash all leafy vegetables and salads, chlorine in the swimming pool etc etc. Scare tactics.

  • To David Adcock, completely well put, let the idiots who hug trees and eat 6 loaves of bread each day like Blaice accept what’s coming to them. Diabetes,, metabolic syndrome, heart disease to name a few.

  • Seriously, I’ve seen so many long term vegans have pale face. They have thinning or greying eyebrows.
They don’t have uniform pale face, they have patches of paleness in their face, especially the area across the eyebrows, around eyes and nose bridge and side of nose down to mouth.
Essentially they have “T” shape paleness on their face.

And their have “tired” and “lifeless” look about their eyes. It’s hard to explain, unless you seen them yourself.

  • Ah so that’s why the Kinder egg nowadays is split in 2 half! They have that in Thailand also and I wondered why since it always been inside an egg you eat from at least when I was living in Sweden. Long time ago I eat one though.

  • Despite extensive lobbying from the egg industry, eggs legally cannot be called nutritious, healthy, or even safe. Additionally, Harvard’s nurse’s health study found that consuming even just one egg a day had the same health effects as smoking 25,000 cigarettes (5/day for 15 years). Please do legitimate research before publishing such dangerous content.

  • It is funny to note that Buddists and other yogic practitionners who are vegetarians can also live very long….Meat does not belong to a human diet. although butter and other animal products can be part of a veggie diet…

  • Since the discovery that obesity is associated with macrophage accumulation in adipose tissue, mechanisms by which adipose tissue becomes inflamed, resulting in insulin resistance, have remained elusive. Several studies have demonstrated that saturated fatty acids (SFAs) stimulate adipose tissue inflammation by a process that involves Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4), a receptor that binds bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS). TLR4 is a pattern recognition receptor that plays a key role in the innate immune response. The observation that TLR4 deficiency protected against insulin resistance in obesity induced by a diet high in SFAs suggested that TLR4 was the link between diet excess and insulin resistance. Attenuation of diet-induced insulin resistance and adipose tissue inflammation also have been observed in C3H/HeJ mice with a loss of function mutation in TLR4. http://atvb.ahajournals.org/content/30/4/692.full

  • Fiber is not necessary, so berries don’t help, plus no fat, I need energy somehow. Red meat, bacon eggs, and pretty much any animal product is the healthiest stuff you can get. Also, no grain is healthy.

  • The most dangerous food in the supermarket. Is canola oil. the UK sells it to us for consumption it is used in every fast food restaurant. In the UK it is sold as a pesticide. It has been banned for consumption by the UK. Canola oil was responsible for mad cow disease. Don’t look it up in the United States. You will find out that they are lying manipulating us telling us. That mad cow disease was caused by prions which is Caused from cannibalism. They told us they were cannibalizing cows. In UK you will find articles where it told you it was the large amount of canola oil in the cattle feed. Doctor please do a video on canola oil

  • You can’t do carbs like toast and fruit together with fat. You can’t just add more fat to your diet. You need to reduce the carbs at the same time. Otherwise you will not loose weight.

  • Please, get your references right. You said “according to study published in ScienceDirect”, but ScienceDirect is not a journal, a magazine, or conference procceedings, but a platform that aggregates multiple journals and procceedings (mostly from Elsevier), just like we use the term “Cable tv” to describe a platform that aggregates multiple channels. Just like Discovery is a channel available in your cable tv catalogue, a Journal such as Physics Letters is a publication that is available in ScienceDirect catalogue. For anyone who does science, “according to study published in ScienceDirect” sounds as weird as “Have you heard that cable tv cancelled MythBusters!?”. Without specifying which Channel or Journal (e.g. Discovery Channel or Physics Letters) your statement does not make sense.

  • iam a 44 year old Indian male living in south pacific, my father mother and elder sister are all diabetics, the nurse and the doctor at the clinic had been telling me that diabetes is genetic disease and were putting me in an impression that nothing can be done and iam screwed because fo the genes where i come from, i was recently diagnosed 2 months ago with prediabetes and my levels were 42 mmol/mole, then i immediately went on to plant based diet along with fruits for 3 weeks then i was feeling very weak with not much energy, then i switched on to LCHF diet and with in 1 month of the LCHF diet and sugar levle have comedown to 38 mmol/mole, i also did quite a bit of walking aswell sometimes i walked up to 22 kms, i do not have any cravings/hungry all the time like any other diabetic, because i know i was on high good fat diet that was keeping me away from all the hunger and cravings, now i don’t have that weakness or numbness in my legs and hads when iam hungry or whatever i have lots of energy sometimes feel weak but not many times, iam able to sleep 8 to 10 hours of uninterrupted sleeps, earlier on use to wake up just after 4 hours, i lost 5 kgs in 2 months, i was 77 kgs and now 72 kgs, why iam telling u this is this diet works and does wonders. now my doctor was like ” what did you do and how did you do” end of the day friends we are our own doctors, a doctor will just take his fees and do sweet talking thats all, now my bp is also 123/82, used to be 138/95.. its been only 1 month ive been on LCHF, i was very skeptic about this diet like ” how could lots of fat can make me better or over come lots of ailments” but i was wrong and this diet works iam a classic example of this great diet AMEN.

  • I have no doubt that you are correct. I believe the most Important factor is missing ; genetic propensity to store fat. I do know a rail thin individual who doesn’t drink coke but he eats more bread, drinks more ginger ales and just generally eats a lot of calories. Exercise…none. We all know that there are individuals who store more fat…it’s genetic.

  • Please be able to activate subtitles in Portuguese as they are only in English and it makes it difficult for me that I am from Brazil, and it would be well to activate for other languages ..!!! Thank you for everything doctor, always with wonderful content!! Namaste✨✨❤️❤️..!!!

  • it is basic chemistry that tells you saturated fat is the best strong complete single bonds prevent oxidation compared to the weaker double bonds of poly unsaturated fat

  • +Tom Goff Still waiting for a response on this… you wrote:” The lie that crackpots all over the internet tell ie that the McGovern Report was about politics and not based on the science at  the time.”
Based on the science at the time? So, the science of the time is not the science of now? Is that what you are acknowledging? Looks like a Freudian slip there, Tom. You still haven’t explained why people suddenly started eating more saturated fat in 1977. Especially as (at the time, saturated fat had been linked to atherosclerosis and heart disease (and had been since 1961). That has been your claim Got an explanation? You also claimed people suddenly (or gradually, perhaps?) started eating more junk food. This, I think, is more accurate. And I think it is because people were told to eat less fat. So, rather than eating more fruits and vegetables, as was the hope of certain “do gooders” who were sure they were doing the right thing, people started eating more processed foods that were marketed as “low fat” or “fat free” and, therefore, full of sugar. Don’t you remember they were even marketing soft drinks as part of a healthy, low fat diet? It was politics, Tom. Ultimately it was about trying to get people to eat more fruits and vegetables and to sell more product. If you take the fat out of the diet, the theory was people could eat more without getting fat. You know, energy balance model and all that. It worked great, didn’t it? If only people would do what they were told. Lol. This is a classic case of unintended consequences when the government, and certain vegan aides, try to do a little social engineering (because of money and politics).

  • A guy I knew got a job at a hostes bakery. When he was new there he seen a baker stirring a huge vat of brown stuff with a canoe paddle. The baker picked up a plastic jug and a beaker. He poured a few tiny drops of liquid I to the beaker then poured that into the car. The baker stirred the vat and the brown stuff turned bright red. It was cherry pie filling. He asked the baker what was in the jug.
The baker replied ” I DON’T KNOW. BUT IT’S POISON IN CANADA.
TWINKIE FILLING is made by mixing lard and sugar. Except for Israel and Muslim countries. Theirs is vegetable shortening.

  • Food theories based on the lie of evolution. People were originally created as vegetarian and some meat was later allowed in small portions.

  • The conspiracy theorist in me believes they knew full well how decades of low fat and SUPER high refined carbs would harm us. How much do they make from all the Diabetes Type 2 and Diabetes Type 3 (Dementia) patients?

  • That food mostly sounds disgusting. Why should I eat foods that make me unhappy and stressed?

I haven’t been A fan of seed oils. But I love butter, but not that much butter. Butter also goes best on starchy foods. Low fat dairy is a joke.

Bacon goes bad in the fridge, as well as sometimes the eggs. Chicken needs to be skinless, unless fried chicken, as I don’t like the skin. I mostly cut off the non tasty fat on meat and prefer grass fed. Steak is a good place to add bacon, however. Hell, I don’t always eat meat either.

I have kept off at least 40 pounds after cutting down on pasta, and keeping more leftovers. I can vaguely comprehend a diet, without gluten grains (don’t know where I would be putting much butter), but not without white rice.

I have no problem if others like other foods than I, but don’t tell me to eat gross foods, because you like them. Being constantly stressed with having to eat a horrid diet, is not healthy.

To add to that most cruciferous vegetables are disgusting due to my having a gene that makes them taste disgusting. TAS2R38. They are only around a couple of thousand years old, as well.

Enjoy your food, but I can’t eat that crap. My body knows when it’s had to much fat and usually when it’s had too much glucose (fructose is a deciever).

  • Saturated fat damages the beta cells that produce insulin and it also raises LDL cholesterol. So how is saturated fat good for you?

  • Norway has a lot of heart disease. At least a lot of our patients in a private heart hospital, I used to work in came from Norway.

  • Blaise you sound as if you are a russian weightlifter is that correct? Well you carry on listening to crackpot advice from the heart foundation who actually put their ticks on fruit loops and cocopops and you will go far.

  • Cronau sounds like a C-grade stand up comedian. The thin photos are fake and photoshopped. She is actually clinically anorexic but wont admit it publicly.

  • You can also make tahini dip, mix tahini with vinegar and water, after it is creamy to your liking add salt and spices and drizzle olive oil

  • OMG! 17 THINGS AND MORE I WISH I NEVER KNEW! This is down right depressing. Is there anything left to eat or drink? I’d say, I guess I’ll just eat air and Sun light, but I’m sure BRIGHT SIDE has a video on how those are contaminated or unhealthy for us too!

  • Since May 2014 I have stopped eating processed low fat food along with the carbs that go with them. I am now on a high fat low carb diet, my weight has dropped from 92kg (obese) to 69kg BMI 24 normal.I eat plenty of good fats eggs bacon steak cheese full fat yoghurt.I have dropped 4 trouser sizes.I feel better sleep better more energy and have not taken a minute more exercise than before.Sugar and carbs are killers anybody that thinks different have been brainwashed.Give up the pasta and grains people and eat real food.

  • Tom naughton from fathead need more recognition. He is the first to make a documentary on LCHF.He is the one who inspired me to go on LCHF

  • Fats from a Whole Foods plant based diet are great. The fat you eat goes directly into your fat storage. The body uses glucose as it’s main fuel source. Fats are great but if you want to lose weight go high carb and low fat

  • Dr Mandell thankyou for your videos. You are helping people to start taking better care of their health and heal themselves, from all around the world, with these videos. Can you tell me why I feel full all the time, bloated and gassy always burping and passing gas as well. I also feel like I am choking and gasping for air. I eat good healthy food etc. The problem is I cannot digest it properly. I also take vitamins. A, B, C, D, E and K2. As well as Co Q 10 and an Omega 3, Betaine and digestion pill with bile salts. I also had Hpylori a few years ago. Could I get it again? I have bad sciatic nerve pain. I do all the excercises suggested for this but ends up with lower back and leg pains through out the day. I also don’t have a gall bladder and had a complete hysterectomy. I am so afraid to go see a regular doctor or to the ER because of Covid 19 because with my difficult breathing problem which I know is from digestion, they would say I got it. What else can you suggest I do. Please help! Sorry for this long comment.
God bless you and your family!

  • I noticed after i stopped using sugar I dropped 16 lbs and cholesterol dropped 38 points. i am sure these numbers can go lower however I discovered SUGAR is in every product out there, i cant keep all sugar from my system, how do I cope.

  • If carbs are so bad, how did the traditional Okinawans surpass all others in health and longevity on a 85% carb diet?
Also, if saturated fats are not a problem, why do the Masai have atherosclerosis?
http://aje.oxfordjournals.org/content/95/1/26.short “they consume diets of milk and meat. The intake of animal fat exceeds that of American men. Measurements of the aorta showed extensive atherosclerosis with lipid infiltration and fibrous changes but very few complicated lesions. The coronary arteries showed intimal thickening by atherosclerosis which equaled that of old U.S. men.”
And if low-fats diets make us fat, why do Vegans have the lowest BMI.

  • Has anybody seen the documentary involving the Nestle/ Coca-Cola in Mexico, Central & South America? I’ve looked all over the Internet for it and I cannot find it anymore. Has anyone else seen this documentary that was on Amazon prime a couple of years ago? What is the title?

  • Meat today is certainly not the meat of million of years ago…Meat today is sick and not meat anymore: it is full of coloring agents which are not good for your health…Unlesse you raise your own cattle, you may obtain a rather reasonable kind of meat…Chocolate on the other hand is still acceptable…You should believe that many people still eat chocolate….sugar is to be avoided at all cost unless it is natural like the sugar contained in fruit…while the added sugar in everything else is not advisable…The Amercican diet should be your guide….

  • Great hearing your detailed suggestions.
When you travel, what nutritionals, food items do you take with you? Minimally? If you are going to be gone a month? I’m currently traveling with cacao, spice blend of cardamom cinnamon, turmeric, black pepper, ginger for health benefits. Greens powder in case I can’t get clean vegetables where I go.

  • Norwegian farmed salmon doesn’t contain chemical colouring.. they’re fed crustaceans for the colour….. (Danish red dyed foods, with nitrites.. as is rife elsewhere, is not allowed here) Along with a bunch of food colouring, so don’t expect brightly flashy sweets here… Fruit colours only
However that doesn’t mean the industry doesn’t have some questionable ecological impacts, or other problems.
PS.. Titanium dioxide is going on the list.. soon hopefully… If you quickly check what makes your toothpaste white, then check where else it’s used, like………. In EVERYTHING.. and how little you need to ingest to get adverse effects.. you won’t want to brush your teeth with for a while.. or just accept that white isn’t a good colour for toothpaste, even if it kind of suggests that you get white teeth..

  • 1) I wonder if she knows that meat raises insulin levels higher than carbs do.
People claim that carbs are bad because they increase insulin levels, that’s true, however, eating meat (usually on the high fat diet) as a replacement is illogical because it gives a higher spike in insulin.
    2) Does she give references that show saturated fat is protective? Hmmm, I don’t see any.
    3) She also claims that the ‘authorities’ say “eat low fat but high in sugar” Who the hell says this, no government authority promotes sugar.
    4) Makes the correct claim that we need cholesterol to operate properly, doesn’t tell anyone that our bodies make all he cholesterol you need, in optimal ratios.
    5) Says cholesterol lowering drugs increase heart disease risk, seems a little illogical. It seems like she uses this argument as ‘Hey, lowering cholesterol is bad because, look at what the drugs do’ whereas it’s the side effects of the drugs, not the fact that it gives lower cholesterol.
    6) ‘We need saturated fat for healthy membranes’ that’s also correct, but…our body makes its own saturated fat. (to my knowledge)
    7) low cholesterol = premature death. I would need a study for this, but I would assume this is correct if they are very low, high cholesterol doesn’t have an opposite effect.
    8) Uses myth that Inuit populations are healthy. It was actually a misconception, this myth arrived when we first discovered Inuit communities. Studies now clearly indicate the opposite.
    9) Uses a single example to say, exercise doesn’t do anything unless you change your diet.
    In conclusion:
She profits from the curiosity and confusion of people about fat. She says something that goes against all the reputable scientific journals and people love to hear good news about their bad habits. So, go buy her books and learn more about how it’s OK to eat anything you want, who wouldn’t join up?

  • I eat a combo of these ‘healthy’ things every few days. Otherwise I’m fasting. And when fasting is over. Fried chicken, potatoe chips and trifle puddings. Healthy is not for life. We all die, why prolong a boring tasteless life? Spinach tastes good. But ‘unhealthy’ foods taste better. Mix & match. Don’t eat healthy for the sake of it.

  • I used to have a problem with severe foot and ankle swelling. I also had diarrhea every day. With the use of chaga tincher the problems cleared up. The chaga also controls my hypertension.

  • The problem with some of those healthy vegetables, fruits and nuts is that they are high oxolated foods. Kidney stone propense people have to be careful with how much they consume them

  • I started steaming my vegetables they taste so amazing and keeps me full all day. Thank you for all the videos you do to help us who love doing natural healing. ❤

  • It is stupid what she said! eat fat, but natural fats; avocado, nuts, flexeed, almonds. Meat and dairy are thought to produce cancer. Harvard Public Health’s research.

  • 1) It isn’t necessary to say “‘Kay?’ after the end of EVERY sentence.2) There weren’t that many ‘fat kids’ in the early 70s…certainly not enough to keep Gatorade in business.
    Sugar absolutely IS a toxin.

  • dr. Oz said we were told that fats were bad for us when reality he probably was the one saying that to begin with back in the day!

  • Hmmm i have a story

I went to singapor with my family we rided a bus then the bus stopped at a food grocery store i bought chewing gums and idk why noone even cared

  • Nope, saturated fat is bad for you.

  • Doctor Oz, what has happened to you? Your show is so gimmicky and you have that audience performing like trained seals.
The woman in yellow says she loves coconut butter so much that “she keeps it in every room in her house.” Really? That is just ridiculous. If you can’t walk the short distance to the kitchen when you want something to eat, you’re in trouble.

  • It’s incredible yet so sad how we’ve been held hostage by the conglomerates of the food industry
Increasing obesity, diabetes, depression… all epidemics that have coincided with the rise of the low fat, high carb diet.

  • Complete junk science. The only valid point is reducing processed foods. The rest is so obscenely twisting science it’s almost criminal. But I guess her book must be selling well!

  • Take real life example of any rural part of any country.. they whole life eat whole fat things and never heard of them going any hospital and seen them alive alert at 90 years age

  • Fat & Carb don’t mix well together. You have to eat separately. If you eat them together, your belly will be fatter. Animal fat is more better than plant fat. The ratio of conversion from plant fat to active form of fat vitamins is too low

  • Taken to the extreme he is saying an apple, basically fructose, is poison. One can rail against table sugar all that want but no wonder we have so many people fucked up with eating disorders.

  • You know what?.. I’m getting tired of all of this, i’m going to end up only drinking water till I die from starvation after seeing that fucking coment section, every fucking thing you eat is bad, i’ll leave breathing then cya, i’ll keep you informed with how my water and air diet goes

  • I always find this information interesting. The scientific data has never changed, most scientific studies show that cholesterol and saturated fat is good for your health. The corporation backed research companies have been throwing out the studies and continually setting up studies to get the answers they wanted. I can not remember where i heard this but one “non-biased” research companies slogan was… “We get you the results you are looking for”. The results should follow the science not what a company is looking for.

  • for those of you trashing her. do your own research

  • This amazingeveryone I know does the exact opposite of the “Fat Revolution”! This totally contradicts everything kids and teens like me have learned; but I completely believe it. It’s amazing to wrap your mind around that 44 year old women and the 51 year old womenit seems like a magic! But what is totally unbelievable is it’s REAL. And if you think about it it does make sense. It’s crazy and it might (if we try to convince the world) save the world!

  • Of course there is nothing wrong when eating an occasional egg or an everyday egg..but there is no absolute need to feed yourselve eggs because american doctors have declared “it is good for you”…humans are unlike animals, they can choose their diet while animals don’t  and that’s probably why we get sick and expecially since the industrial revolution and the advent of Md Donald and the junk food…

  • This is not a clinixal report…so useless and lack of evidence…Live stock is sick and its meat is sick…so are vegetables and we get all those diseases around…Strange??  Thhe whole thing is to be reviewed..Saying that too much sugar causes invlammation is well known and she should be more bold and go against Monsanto and such companies making us sicker by the day..then she would get more credit…

  • Margarine has an ‘e’ at the end of the word, so is pronounced margareen!
Having said that, it is a disgusting product.
So disgusting that rodents and even cockroaches won’t touch it!

  • A great source of insoluble fibre are raw organic hemp seeds. I pop some into a coffee grinder for 10 seconds and add to my freshly made fruit and vegetable juices. Blessings to all, have a great weekend. Gareth

  • I eat very unhealthy but not much fast Food. I eat allot of fat and I´m still skinny. Most of the time you are just unlucky when you are fat or heavy.

  • I’ve heard bottled salad dressings are really bad. Lots of bad sugars and oils are in those products. I wished the US would ban unhealthy products or at least have companies put the health concerns on the package so we can make healthy informed decisions.

  • The polyunsaturated fats also build up inside the cells and damage the metabolism of sugar, so if we wouldn’t eat so much vegetable oil we wouldn’t have so much diabetes.

  • She may not be 100% right… not too many ever are, but she makes a strong point that Doctors rarely get it right because they are the drug pushers of Big Pharma and we are the experiment. Yes, cut out the junk foods… processed foods… take mineral suppliments, exercise and stay away from fried foods if you can… and listen to this lady… she has a cause and effect way of looking at your health… not money driven.

  • lots of people who wont eat table sugar and consider it poison will still gobble oranges and honey and old fashioned made molasses thinking the sugar in those things are better because they are “natural”… well plain old refined white table sugar is “natural” too.

  • Yeah, bacon, eggs and cheese are good for you. You can tell because the more meat and dairy people eat, the fitter and healthier they get.
The obesity epidemic we are experiencing in western countries is caused by the steady increase in fruit and grain consumption since WWII. Especially vegans are known to be typically obese because they eat too little saturated fat.

For instance, a diet high in saturated fat got me down from 85kg to 107kg while on a 90% carbs diet I went up from 103kg to 73kg in just a few months. High carb forced me to run ultramarathons to get rid of all the unwanted surplus energy.
I quite enjoy being tired after a high fat meal. Gave me a good excuse to have some schnapps, too. Quite missed all that on high carb. Lesson learnt in the future I better stick to bacon and stay away from those bananas!

  • I recall Earl Butz. He got axed after saying that black people just want a pair of comfortable shoes and a warm place to go to the bathroom. He was a racist evidently.

  • Cerealbars Are not banned in denmark we have Cerealbars and oatmeal everywhere almost Any store there is
And most Kids have Them as a snack in school

  • We have been eating rice and bread since there was rice and bread and it does not seem like yesterday to me. Grain and cereals are staple foods..while meat was only available when you could catch it…

  • This is wrong. Farmed salmon is not banned in Australia and NZ. It is in fact the only kind of salmon it is possible to buy in most places in Australia. Don’t trust the “information” in this video

  • Avoid konjac due it’s choking hazard and raw milk due to the real possibility of dangerous levels of harmful bacteria. The ban on Kindereggs is probably also prudent all three have clearly killed people, mostly children. Nothing else in this video is any problem in moderation.

  • I used to follow a low fat/complex carbs diet and all it did for me was make me sick and fat! Now I feel so much better and healthier since changing my eating habits to include good amounts of saturated fats! Butter, coconut oil, bacon, meats, chicken with the skin, fatty fish, eggs all kinds of good veggies and berries with homemade sour cream (Yum!) are part of my regular foods. I eat no factory foods at all. No new newfangled vegetable oils and no sugar! My cholesterol is 148 down from 181!
