  • I like the way you present what you do. It is easy to watch and listen. I don’ t have much experience with pumpkin cooking, but you both gave me some fine ideas. Greetings from Serbia.

  • I love pumpkin and have just started clean eating. Thanks for the delicious recipes. I will buy some pumpkin and maple syrup from trader joe’s on the way home from my dr appt. mmm!

  • Wow! These all look SO DELICIOUS!!! I will be trying the pumpkin protein balls first. My husband is diabetic, so when we’re out running errands i like to have a healthy snack for him in case his sugar drops. These would be so great to just grab & go!!! Thanks ladies they all look like awesome recipes!!!

  • Alyssia, is there a specific brand of rolled oats that are certified gluten free that you use? These look SO delicious;!!!! I can’t wait to try this recipe!!

  • Dani i haven’t gotten all through this video yet, but I just had to stop & say could you come up with a recipe using this pumpkin French toast (& I would definitely go for the raisin bread) for a French toast casserole??? Oh that would be so good on Christmas morning with some turkey sausage!!! My mouth is watering already!!! And bonus for the casserole, everyone can eat at the same time!!!

  • Hi good morning girls love you both. Love love love all of your recipes. God bless and thanks for all you do and all of your tips. I love love love pumpkin everything lol even pumpking cream and soaps

  • The pumpkin energy balls are to die for! Got me 2 marriage proposals so far 😉
Also, the pancakes are quite delicious. The texture is not as smooth as your regular pancake due to the oats, though. But in our household this one will replace our old protein pancake recipe.
Thanks to the both of you. Cheers!

  • I made the Pumpkin Protein Pancakes. The texture is like other healthy clean protein pancake recipes, so if you are fine with that, you’ll be fine with this (I was). Next time, I would double, maybe even triple, the spices because the recipe as is was definitely not enough. I will make this again, esp because it’s high protein!

  • Thank you for all the wonderful recipes:) I was wondering if I could use mass gainer instead of oat flour in your recipes. The gainer I have is my protein weight gainer and it says it contains an amount of oats in it!

  • Dani, I absolutely love your channel. All your baking/ baked goods videos are so fun to watch and I love that they are always healthier options than the regular. I’d love to see more of those:)

  • REALLY YUMMY! I LOVE PUMPKIN, GRACIAS!
HOWEVER, I WISH YOU GIRLS WOULD STEP UP TO THE REAL HEALTHY COOKING PLANT BASED. IN THE MEANTIME, GUESS I’LL HAVE TO SUBSTITUTE CERTAIN INGREDIENTS.
    BLESSINGS✌

  • This is my banana oatmeal almond butter cake that I like to make for breakfast. You can try it out. I love it so much.
    Ingredients:
    • 1/4 -1/3 cup of scottish oatmeal (it works just like oat flour, but it also has the extra bits of groats that didn’t get ground completely into a powder, which gives it a great texture.

    • 1 mashed banana (the riper the better)

    • 1 egg (or 2 egg whites if you don’t want the nutrient packed yolk)

•1/2 a tsp of baking powder

•1/2 a tsp of cinnamon(or/and any other spices you want)

•Natural almond butter(or peanut butter if you want)

Then I just mix up all the ingredients except the almond butter in a bowl and microwave it for 90 to 120 seconds. After that let it cool until it’s not too hot(or stick it in the freezer for a few minutes like I do) and spread almond butter on top. Enjoy!

  • I am really excited about trying the pumpkin oatmeal recipe. I have made the pumpkin oat muffins that you had a few videos back, and I love them. I love this channel. Thank you for sharing healthy, delicious options!

  • And made this pancakes this morning. To die for. Discovered I didn’t have cottage cheese after I started so subbed in pumpkin apple sauce. Worked perfectly!

  • Thank you so much! I love pumpkin season! Everything looks so yummy! I have a question about the macros for the pancakes. It’s 25 grams of protein per pancake?? Or are those macros for the whole recipe?

  • So yummy! Two of my favorite channels and I can’t wait to try the french toast. I’m headed over to Mind Over Munch now…thanks!

  • OMG I cannot decide. These three recipes looks so yummy . I think that I’m going for the Pumpkin oatmeal as it is totally new for me. Then those pancakes .
    Thanks for sharing

  • Cannot wait to try all of these recipes! The protein balls for sure always looking for easy, delicious and healthy snacks. Two of my favorite channels on YouTube please do more collabs.

  • I’m so excited for your energy bites I saw over on mind over munch since I love the idea of energy bites but I HATE dates and dried figs and stuff like that that is normally the base for them. As soon as my husband comes home with more maple syrup I’m making a batch!

  • It all looks good! The pancakes remind me of my childhood when my dad would make cottage cheese pancakes, they were delicious! Thanks for the recipes ladies!

  • I came over from Mind Over Munchthis is an awesome colab! I’ve never, ever, thought about eggs whites in oatmeal that sounds amazing!! Thanks! new subscriber 😉

  • Thanks Dani! I’ve been a huge fan of your channel and Alyssia’s for years now. Could you make a video on how to make raisin bread from scratch please?

  • I love this so much! I’ve been craving pumpkin but don’t want to overindulge so I’m excited to try these out. I love the egg whites in oatmeal idea. Also happy to see a colab with two of my favorite youtubers!

  • I really like the substitutions you mention, and the link to how to make your own pumpkin puree. (I know how, but it should be handy.) I haven’t been subscribing to you channel because I find diet talk triggering. I’m subscribing now.

  • You guys are gonna LOVE this recipe! I’ve been eating leftovers all week and I still can’t get enough of it. Don’t forget to tag me on Instagram when you make it I’d love to see. Enjoy! xo Lisa

  • I just made this, and OMG, it is absolutely delicious. I make my own tomato sauce with no sugar (I am doing Keto and we don’t have Rao’s in my country)… This is a game changer. Mine cooked faster than directed and I actually ended up with a slight crispy top. I sprinkled parmagiano on top with the mozz. Yum!

  • I love this recipe… can i change cucchinj with sweet potatoes..?? To sweet isn’t it..?? Or pumpkins..?? im newbie in your vlog… more easy recipe please thank you so much

  • Great recipe and video. Although it’s a year old, my garden is producing more zucchini than we can use. I’ve been looking for recipes. Very timely. This one will happen. Thanks again!!

  • I made this and it’s delicious! I cheated by using frozen grilled zucchini slices but it turned out great. It’s going to be on my menu a lot. Thank you for sharing

  • Amazing recipe!!!! If I’m going to ever not make my own sauce it is because RAO’s Arrabiata is sooooo delicious. I did make my own sauce for this, I also bought the kitchen aid device and copied exactly what you did with the zucchini (from my garden) lasagna noodles. I used beyond beef vegan meat cooked with some white onion. I used kite hill brand ricotta almond cheese. It was ssooooooo delicious!!!! Thank you so much from me and my vegan daughters!

  • Thank you so much for the recipe, I love the fact that you are so detailed which is a great source, I will make this lasagna for dinner today

  • How are you able to eat such delicious zucchini based recipes without having indigestion from all the fiber? I wish I could eat this but zucchini goes right thru me!

  • I substituted eggplant for the zucchini. I grilled the eggplant like you did with the zucchini. I like the eggplant flavor. I remove the skin of the eggplant as it can be tough in the lasagna. Tastes great. Raos is a good sauce if you don’t want to make your own.

  • Why no onions or garlic? I would add these to the pasta sauce as well as the ground beef. If I made this lasagna I would probably put one layer of noodles in the middle.

  • She’s got great ideas…appreciate this a lot. And, using the word “healthy” when using other ingredients that are not (meat, cheese, etc) is what so many cooks say to intice us. I hope the word “healthy” becomes used in an accurate and truthful way.

Her technique info is useful and as a Chef, I’ve learned from this you tuber… but… healthy this dish is NOT.

    Food for thought

  • Have this in the oven now! I asked hubby to pick up some zucchini at the store and he grabbed three little skinny ones. Guess I should have been more specific

My house smells amazing so I can’t wait to try it

  • I am new to cooking but I’ve been giving it a go because my first child is getting to the solid food stage. I made this with no problem, your video made it super easy to follow. It tasted great and I’m feeling alittle more confident about cooking.

  • I always put more veggies in the saus. Cut op unions, bellpeppers, carrots, leek, caulifower, greenbeans, peas, sellery, what ever sounds good and or l have left over.

  • BLEH, not a real lasagna. This is just as bad as a cottage cheese lasagna. Real lasagna has meat in it. Anything else is a counterfeit in my opinion.

  • Looks great. I’ leave out the meat though as I don’t care much for it. I’m sure it will still be spectacular. just with th cheese. I have several large zucchini in the garden ready to go.

  • I rather make a vegan version of this. I use firm tofu and blend sautés spinach with fine chopped onion and fine pressed garlic and salt and adobo seasonings and Italian seasonings. For my meat I used cooked lentils I cook with chop veggies garlic and onions and cilantro.

  • Good organized video. Mostly healthy with the zucchinibut much of the public doesn’t realize that ground beef is NOT healthy at all. I never touch it.

  • I just want to point out that I found her channel around 11 and it’s now 3:34 am I’ve been binge watching her recipes but now I’m hungry

  • Great video and i just subscribed especially as you are vegan and oil free. I grow my own pumpkins and just started to make my own puree and freezing it. It is so easy and fun and this is the first recipe that i will try. Can’t believe all the comments about pumpkin puree and the efforts to make it, so why bother subscribing or watching cooking videos? I live in Australia and its not a big thing here and i would not buy it anyway not knowing what additives are put into it. Health should be a priority for yourself and your family and now at the age of 65 i am learning from young people like Caitlin. I think i was born 40 years too early with the lazy too much trouble / effort required to cook and eat healthy.

  • I ended up using my Jack o lanterns to make Pumpkin Purre from scratch and was trying to find a way to use up the excess amount I made. Thank goodness you have some delicious recipes that I can try and experiment. You are truly a life savor.

  • The recipes look scrumptious. I was grocery shopping yesterday at Walmart and searched for pumpkin purée but couldn’t find any. I looked on three different aisles. I guess I’ll have to try another store. I’m not vegan but I love any savory foods that have pumpkin in it.

  • Great recipes! I love how you show all of the ingredients at the beginning. All of the recipes are simple and easy to follow instructions. Thanks!

  • Is it okay to use sweet potatoes instead of pumpkin in these recipes? I prefer the flavour of sweet potatoes and I find that its much easier to turn into puree than pumpkin anyway because canned pumpkin isn’t really a thing in the UK as far as im aware.

  • This pumpkin pasta dish is so good!! I’m not a vegan, and neither is my boyfriend, but we both loved this dish! I will note I used chicken bouillon & omitted the lemon + shallots, but it was still incredible. I followed the recipe on her blog which is in a different order of operations and doesnt specify to keep the lid off the whole time. As a result I had to boil my pasta a few extra minutes at the end to reduce the sauce. I just wanted to point out these small discrepencies so no one makes the same mistake I did/thinks you need all the exact ingedients to make this recipe. It was so good & I already cant wait to reheat this for lunch tomorrow.

  • i eat my curry with flatbread i think it goes better with it than rice also pumpkin curry for me is totally different. whole pumpkin, oven raosted, chickpeas, different indian spices, coconut cream-milk, carrots, ginger and yeah thats pretty much it

i like the idea of paprika in it but the spinach turned me off. but whatever! bon appetit

  • I LOVED the chipotle pumpkin soup! I made it earlier this week (saw the idea on your instagram before you put this video out), and it was great to pack up and bring to work with me too. Thanks!

  • I like the pumpkin soup concept because it seems easy to make and one of my favorite soups pre vegan was a Panera soup that was full of heavy cream. Thanks for the ideas!

  • Hi! So I’m wanting to start something in the vegan online community, with big youtubers giving their opinions on some huge controversial vegan topics like:
Are you pro-life? (Most omnivores assume vegans must be, or else they’re ‘viewing animal lives above humans’).
Is it anti-vegan to buy leather and wool second hand? Or anti-vegan to keep wearing something that’s leather if you’ve had it for years as opposed to throwing it out?
    Is honey really that bad?
Would you go to a zoo?
    Horse riding?
If you accidentally buy something with a bit of egg/ milk in it, should you eat it or throw it away?
    Are oreos vegan?
Can you consume things with palm oil in it? (Due to severe deforestation).
Should you feed your dog/ cat a vegan diet? Is it anti-vegan if you don’t?
    Would you marry a non-vegan?
Can someone love animals/ be an environmentalist without being vegan?
    Opinion on junk food vegans?
Is it okay to eat e.g fries at a huge burger chain like McDonalds?
Thoughts on vaccines?I was hoping the big vegan youtubers would cover these so as to help newbies figure out their own opinion of them, as well as showing some diversity.
    Thanks in advance!:)

  • I have never eaten Pumpkin except for the seeds and as it is only available in the Autumn up to October I would be restricted to just eating it then. So I would probably replace it with Butternut squash during the rest of the year.

  • Yum!! I also love your Chipotle Pumpkin Chickpea Curry from last year! It’s one of my favorite dishes, and I make it all fall/ winter.

  • Can you prepare some recipes with real pumpkin next time? I don’t want to go through the effort of making my own purree and it’s not really a thing you can buy in europe:)

  • Why does every vegan cooking channel nowadays sautee stuff in water??!!! Too much oil phobia or what??? There is nothing wrong with a drizzle of oil come on now!!

  • i actually don’t feel like pumpkin has any flavor, but i love how versatile it is because of that fact! great for egg replacers in baking, bases for pasta sauces and curries (like what you just made), awesome in oatmeal, great on toast…wow seems like endless possibilities honestly!!

  • I made the pumpkin curry about an hour ago… OMG . It’s soooo delicious! Thank you for sharing this!!! Sooooo surprisingly delicious!!!! It’s part of my meal prep this week!

  • Made the curry and pasta today for meal prep today. They are both delicious. Topped my curry with some crunchy pepitas. I’ll definitely be making these again! Think I’ll take the pasta to my in-laws for thanksgiving this year.

  • As a US citizen living in Austria (with nary a blender nor an oven), pumpkin purée is one of very few North American things I really miss! (And yes, one of the others is pumpkin pie…)

  • Oooh, i have the ingredients for the soup. May try that this week! I used to love the spicy pumpkin soup Whole Foods had, but I haven’t seen it in years.

  • The availability of pumpkin in the US being better than in other countries is probably due to the fact that pumpkin is a traditional American food, pumpkin being indigenous to North America. Pumpkin desserts especially are an American holiday tradition. So I hope that helps to explain why pumpkin is overabundant in the US, and not as commonly found in other parts of the world. (Bonus fun fact: some parts of the world refer to multiple kinds of winter squash as “pumpkin,” not just what most would call a pumpkin!)

  • YUMMM! I just made a recipe relatively similar to that soup but…. I gotta make the curry and the pasta. I’m a curry fiend and I need to mix it up!

  • Cashews a nice touch. Have toasted almonds but now must try cashews. I’m kind of nuts with the winter squash. Don’t need sweet, any winter squash recipe make me excited:) We live in MA so we have a huge variety of kinds to choose from at all the farmstands. Just cooked a Red Kuri and a Long Island Cheese yesterday, plus lots of butternut this week.
Made a similar pumpkin pasta this week, but one pot? Must do this, love to save dishes and I tend to overcomplicate everything. And in one pot means the flavor really soaks into the pasta-yum!

  • I love your recipes Caitlin! I made the pasta and the soup for my non-vegan family and they loved it! I’m making the curry this weekend

  • It all looks so good. I’m trying to imagine what it tastes like bit it seems there has been no salt to taste added…..amd since I use salt when I cook, I’m finding it hard to imagi e cooking without it

  • I’m really glad I found your channel. Your videos tend to relax me and the recipes are great as well. I’m not a vegan and I’m no longer a vegetarian but I’m still not big on any meat products. (chicken and fish-sometimes) I prefer good recipes made creatively with veggies and you sure are really good with that! I also like the way you teach substitutes for dairy. I may just end up a vegan after all. Btw, I prefer savory anything over sweet any day of the week. Thanks for your channel:)

  • I’ve never tasted pumpkin my entire life, and we don’t have canned pumpkin here. HOWEVER since it’s October, some bigger grocery stores have pumpkins for sale so yesterday I bought one and now it’s sitting there on my counter and I literally have no idea how to approach it. Cutting it? No idea. De-seeding? Nope! Do you take off the skin or eat ot? Don’ t ask me! But once I do find out, I will come back and I WILL MAKE THAT PASTA!

  • Yum!! I think I need to make that pumpkin pasta ASAP It reminds me of your mushroom stroganoff that I’m literally obsessed with I can’t wait to give it a try! Thanks for another great trio of recipes! xx

  • Thank you girl!! These ideas are gone be great to try! Good thing I found this cuz I got a pumpkin that I knew I would find a poppin’ vegan recipe to use it with and these ideas are gonna be great! You’re doing awesome!!

  • All looked good, but I think the pumpkin pasta would be my first choice. I mostly eat sweet pumpkin but I like more savory dishes.

  • Ok, so your mushroom stoganoff pasta has been my go to comfort food these last months. I think the one pot pumpkin pasta will be a close second from now on.

  • I recently bought a pie pumpkin in hopes of making a savory recipe. It’s been sitting on my counter for 2 weeks and this inspired me to start cooking!

  • it’s so true what you said in the beginning of the video…and also kind of ironic. people don’t want to be considered stereotypical, therefore they stay away form things that are considered a trendy, corny, or silly stereotype. Only by doing this, they are accepting the inevitable truth that they, in fact, are a stereotypical person because they care what others think. life is crazy!

  • Can you do a video dedicated to squash? Preferably butternut squash, I want to convince my mum to love it just a bunch of yummy great recipes and maybe tips?

  • I just bought a huge pumpkin from 4 dollars about the size of two small watermelons together and weighs about 5 pounds! Not to mention how delicious the seeds turned out!

  • Guys chill. Vegan means nothing to me I recently watched lady who was vegan for over ten years and ruined her health. So stop complaining vegan and meat lovers can be healthy, you will never find right answer

  • I have a question. Does this recipe really call for a tablespoon of baking powder? I just made the cornbread but it taste like pure metal I’m not really sure where I went wrong I followed the instructions to a tee. I just didn’t use an egg I used a flax egg. Is it because my cornmeal wasn’t course it was fine? I’m just so confused as to why it tastes like pure metal

  • It’s funny how everyone is just bragging about the eggs. When she avoids most animal products she already does more for the environment and for the animals than the majority. It’s her own choice to use eggs in her recipes.
The recipes btw look amazing. I love pumpkin and will definitely try some of these!

  • I am just curious about the eggs, I am like you mostly vegan but I eat eggs from time to time but I always make sure the hens are fine (I mean like I eat eggs that I have from my friend who has hens at her backyard), do you do that too or do you just buy eggs at the supermarket?:) thank you:)

  • Great recipes! I have never thought to make pumpkin French Toast..but now I will! I’m all about fall and pumpkin everything too. Thanks!

  • minimalist baker does a fantastic vegan french toast recipe with chia seeds! i think you could achieve the same results with chia seeds as i’ve used her recipe many times and loved it ❤️☺️

  • Our over hasn’t been working do you have any no bake recipes to share? We have air fryer, instant pot and crockpot. Thanks!! ❤️ your content!

  • I can’t wait until fall this year. I don’t usually like cold weather but it means I can bake as much as I want without getting the house too hot. Also these recipes look awesome.

  • Sorry, pumpkin is one of my kryptonite foods, lol, i like about every other squash, lol, zucchini, yellow, butternut, spaghetti, acorn, etc.. but i could never acquire a taste for pumpkin, & i’m irish, 56, & live in Kentucky where we eat about anything & waste nothing. Also can’t eat marshmellows, coconut, rosemary herb, or cajun black seasoning on anything, i do not know why. I do however enjoy watching other folks enjoy their food, especially if i cook it, so enjoy folks!, God bless

  • Shitty duplicated content like this is destroying real food channels on YT. Most of Tastys “recipes” don’t work and some are downright unsafe.

  • Tasty is the best food channel! I’m starting my food channel mixing food, fashion & entertainment! I follow back check me out! Let’s go Tasty!!

  • Rice topped with boiled pumpkin chunks, water spinach and fish sauce is really popular in Vietnam and a favorite of mine. Pumpkin and rice go hand-in-hand.

  • Great i have a video with 7000 views and 120 likes in 4 months and im proud…… But tasty gets 8000views in a hour and 900 likes. Is that even possible

  • Hi thank you for the Video can can I eat plain pumpkin or plain pumpkin soup without mixing with any other type of food or fruit for two weeks is it safe

  • Sir..I eat one bowl pumpkins on daily basis. And I also drink the water in which I use to boil the pumpkin. I am not following any other diet. Kindly tell me will it lose my weight? And will it be harmful for my skin or not?

  • What is the best product or brand to lost crazy amounts of weight? I read many great opinions on the net about how Custokebon Secrets can assist you lost tons of weight. Has anyone tried using this popular weight loss diet plan?

  • Anybody tried the Fenoboci Diet Plan (do a search on google)? We have heard several amazing things about this popular lose weight method.

  • Awesome thank you so much for your help and. You educate me about how to take care. Of. my cholesterol and blood pressure.. Good topic.. watching you from fairbanks Alaska USA lynnetiangco God bless

  • I was actually just googling random stuff and then I decided to google health benefits of pumpkin, cause I love pumpkins a lot and came across this video.
I am actually 13 and I found this video so interesting! I never found a video about healthy diet this interesting, theay mostly tell you how eating salads and being vegan is the best thing to do and of course cut out sugar and salt.
Well in fact eating pumpkin you can eat regularly and possibly still loose some weight!
Adding pumpkin can change your body and it is so fascinating!
Definitely going to tell my friends about this video so I can change their way about looking at pumpkins!
    Thanks for sharing!

  • Is it possible to overdose on these vitamins? I heard that too many fat soluble vitamins like A and D are stored and too many of them can cause problems.

  • Hi Doc I’m going to take your word & start eating pumpkin from today onwards. I’m a vegetarian & I’m going to make soup right now. Thanks for your advice. Have a good day. What kind of pumpkin we should eat? Only pie pumpkin or any kind. Thx.

  • LOL, low calories? yes. Vit T? is as real as unicorns. vitamin T dosen’t exist. go get any nutrition book, never heard of a vit T

  • I recently did an exhaustive survey of all foods, comparing satiety (fullness), nutritional profiles, calorie and glycemic loads etc. and concluded that pumpkin is the very best (and cheapest!) food for weight loss you can find. Then I found this video, and I have to say this guy is spot on. Pumpkin will help your diet like NO OTHER staple food…full stop.Dump the wheat, rice, starchy foods like potatoes and corn….none of them even gets close to pumpkin….all of them have big drawbacks that pumpkin avoids.

  • Cool video love ur accent and passion! Thanks!I am eating the pumpkin pieces roasted with seasalt and olive oil… soo yummy! Is it better to eat the peel/skin with it (nutritional value?) as I love the crunchy part

  • Makes sense, I am already on pumpkin diet. I boil pumpkin until it becomes soft and then separate the water I had it boiled in, then fry one kg of boiled pumpkin in 1 and half tablespoon of oil. plus I add spices like red chilly powder turmeric coriander chopped and cloves of garlic and at last I mix the pumpkin water back to it and boil it again for 7 minutes on medium flame and at last I mix salt according to my taste.I can eat a big bowl of this soup and just consume 200 250 cal plus I don’t feel hungry after I eat this with three bread slices and 100g curd. It’s a diuretic and makes you lose alot of fat weight & water weight

  • Hi! I really liked the first meal plan for women with half a potato, an egg and lentils. I am a lacto vegetarian. I wonder whether I can substitute the boiled egg with 100 g of boiled soyabeans without any flavouring. This has 70 calories. I know that I can use the vegetarian option at the end of the video, but I really like soyabeans, so I thought I should ask you. Please reply. Thanks.
