  • I just made this & it was delish! I made some slight changes. I used Chicken taco seasoning instead of regular beef kind. In my grocery store I couldn’t find fresh cauliflower rice so I bought frozen. Instead of scallions I used small green onions. I used fresh garden tomatoes instead of cherry tomatoes & I added green bell peppers b/c I LOVE them on everything Mexican. And I just used light sour cream instead of the plain Greek yogurt mix.

  • Swear it felt like you were talking directly to me about the sour cream etc
Literally just had a “healthy” bowl n tried so hard to pass on it, but… lmao

  • Hey Shane I was doing MMA training for 4-5 yrs and I took 2 years off and does every thing you learned still stay with you by instinct I was 13 when I left and now 15. I was and doing tae kown do

  • Sounds amazing! Yum! Thanks for sharing. We have ground turkey every couple weeks for a variety quick meals, so this will be a good recipe to try next time.

  • Shane i cant do that many push ups sometimes nun at all and im a boxer. Whats the quickest way to learn a proper and lots of push ups in the short amount of time

  • Shane what’s your dream within fighting, would you like to someday open your own gym? If you would want to, would it be boxing or a mixture of different martial arts?

  • Hate to burst your bubble but that looks like a dry ass burrito and in whose mind do they think it’s ok to eat a flour tortilla straight out of the bag? Tortillas are pre-cooked and should not be eaten cold like that. It’s like eating dinner rolls that haven’t been put in the oven. Disgrace for Mexicans heritage…….I know I sound very mean but I can’t keep this to myself.

  • About all I own are those pyrex bowls. They are so perfect because you can cook with them in the oven or use the way you have. Awesome product.

  • How can you make this with cooked frozen chicken? And do you mix the chicken and all the ingredients before waiting for the chicken to cook?

  • Don’t you not eating much protein cause you to run out of energy fast like your last fight Shane? If this is correct I wish you luck for the tournament.

  • Quick question, I’ve been told on a diet plan I got to eat 30g of protein per meal, is it going to make a different if I eat more protein per meal, or If I decrease or increase my carbs my around 10 or 20g in some of my meals

  • I’m in year 7/5th grade there is a guy my year/grade who stabbed me 10 times with a maths compass and he wants to fight me. What do I do?

  • @fightTIPS can you answer me please i am 6.2.. 183lbs and i am 15 years old i trained karate but i hated it because i cousnt do full contact then i trained handball 8 years (we would wrestle on every training) so i am good in wrestling but i love to kick with legs what would be best martial art for me Thank you and keep up with videos (good luck in fight)

  • Thank you for offering some non-“cauliflower rice” alternatives. I’m finding that as a 40+ guy, besides having a life-long disgust towards cauliflower, I’ve been advised that it’s also a contributor towards my gout attacks. So I am more than happy to cancel it out of my diet 😉

Also love that you give us some tofu/vegetarian options, as reducing meat consumption isn’t exactly specified by my doctors, but is definitely helping towards a healthier me.

  • snobby people are annoying which I thought you were until I seen your bloopers.I love your bloopers made you seem more human cool and down-to-earth especially the thrust lol

  • When you were listing the ingredients I don’t know why but that clip made me trippy as fuck, like focus properly on the video I don’t know if it’s just me

  • I’m 5’10” ( 178 cm) and 140 pounds ( 63,5kg) and I eat like 5 times more than you…. I don’t understand why. I can’t get more weight(sorry for the bad English).

    Ps: I’m 17 year old.

  • Hey there just wanted to know how to make cauliflower rice from the scratch. It would be a great help and I’ll definitely try this receipe this week.

  • I am so excited for you to do a how to beat jetlag thanks so much because I am going to japan in January so please do a video on how to beat jetlag on YouTube thanks

  • Why does weight matter fair enough dont be out of shape and u dont need to a body builder either to want to box someone just a waste of time we all know height and weight doesn’t help ppl win fights

  • Those burritos looks bomb. Trying to zest the lime with the lid on was hilarious, we do stuff like that all the time. The shirt comes from “The Karate Kid”. That was my movie too. My family and I still watch that. Thanks for sharing fam and have a good night. MK Saints! Blessed!

  • Sexiest Burrito Bowl I’ve ever seen, and the reason they put the lettuce last is because, it tends to become soggy and mushy if you add it in first because of the heat/grease from the meat, it basically steams the lettuce, which you don’t want.

  • This looks amazing!! looks mega easy and not so expensive either to make. Lately you have turned into my favourite fitness youtuber! keep up the great videos!:)

  • And to my defense this was the first video I had ever seen of your cooking channel. I love power bowls and yours looks great. I’ve made them with chicken and or steak and I’ve also made shrimp powerbowls or just steak power bowls.. N E Ways thumbs up..

  • I make these often for my lunches (I’m a teacher so need easy to eat lunches)..I also add a handful of shredded romaine lettuce to mine:)….love the idea of them in the pyrex containers, I have a couple of them and must try this now!

  • Thank you so much for making REAL and Easy foods. No fancy ingredients, you work with what you have, and also FREEZER friendly, meal prep but you know, I appreciate it Thank you!!!

  • I just found you. I’m so gonna make these for my lunches next week. I’m shocked you don’t have like a million subs with the quality of your videos. You just got a sub from me!

  • I love my 3 cup Pyrex containers. I travel and like to make my own meals instead of eating out while I am on the road. These containers fit perfectly in the hot logic mini which is a portable bag that has a hotplate in it to warm up or cook food.

  • Cooking with Lip are always my favourite videos! Even tried an omlette for the first time like 3wks ago, so good gun shots throughout this as well! xx

  • @Rob Lipsett Love this rob! It’s great for me as a 15 year old bulking out to have such a great easy meal to make! I love it. You should put it on the website and make a section for your meals, it would be great to have some other meal ideas you know and it seems like you really know good quick easy meals thanks so much man all for gains

  • SHANE i love your vids. keep up the great work. i wanted to ask you why you eat canned/ package items full of preservatives?! By any means its not very healthy for your body. Why dont you try wholesome foods that are minimally processed with no artificial ingredients (meats/dairy/veggies) non GMO items? I made the change in my diet about 2 years ago and i see a huge improvement in the way my body reacts when i fight. what are your thoughts on this?

  • [fightTIPS] damn shane I didn’t know you could cook like a boss that actually looks pretty good shane you better make me some and keep up the good work man you are awesome.

  • So how did you go about storing / eating that much food? Was this made for multiple people, or did you freeze some for later, or just eat a 2 bowls a day? I’m just curious how long the bowls lasted for!

  • Instead of doing the baby tomatoes you can get canned diced tomatos with green chilies and that really adds an extra pop, the fresh spice with the lime and the chicken is top tier.

  • Needs ingredients and quantities listed, e.g. in the description box, or in a pinned comment 😉 like this one.

    50g kidney beans
100g sliced peppers and sliced onions
    150g meat
    White rice
    1 tbsp hot salsa
1 tbsp low fat free quark
    Garlic granules

I just made it for my family, they loved it!

  • And this is going into my low cal high protein diet. I like a bit more carbs cause I’m a f*** super human who needs carbs…. but hey, thanks a ton! Can’t wait to taste them. Liked/Subbed/done.

  • Wow man! u changed the entry, everything is getting better appreciate the effort you are doing to improve it.one of my favorite fitness chanel highly recomended!!

  • Toss the corn with kosher salt, lime juice, finely diced onion and jalapenos or serranos (depending on what heat level you prefer), and fresh cilantro.

  • I love your channel and your recipes I am taking this recipe and turning it into a few Mexican lasagna using corn tortillas to keep it a little bit lighter and cheese only on the top awesome

  • Going to try this out for my family tomorrow night will let you guys know how it goes. Needless to say I am SUPER Excited. I’ve been trying to do some shelf cooking and this is right up there I have everything but the lime which means my entire dinner is going to cost me a whole.50 cents thanks to both Dani clean and delicious and Jordan fun cheap or free thanks ladies

  • You’ve got this man, we have faith in you, and if you lose don’t stress, as the legend @scooby1961 said himself in one of his vids (check it out guys, huge motivation) paraphrased; your buildup and progress to where you are today shows you’ve won already. Good luck bro

  • Hey Shane What do you think about using head movement in Muay Thai and Kickboxing? Could you make a video on the subject if you have the time?

  • Greetings from Finland Rob! Big fan of your channel here! Gotta say that you have the best fitness related channel by a mile in Youtube. I really do enjoy your videos. Especially these cooking vids cause I just love to cook too and you make people realize that they don’t always have to eat the same plain and dry chicken all the time.

  • Oh brother! I’m so happy I found your channel. I’ve been struggling to do meal prep only because there’s tons of videos that include a TON of ingredients. Will definitely try this tomorrow and hopefully decrease my spending on restaurant and/or poorly tasting home cooked food. Plus, I’m too damn lazy to cook something new everyday so hopefully I find similar videos that I can adapt for my lifestyle!

  • So hey, i saw a fight document earlier, basically a fighter stumbles as he walks in the 2nd round and doesn’t look coordinated. The referee and doctor does not see this so they continue the fight. The guy ends up getting into a coma which could have been avoided if the referee would have stopped him, but he didnt. What i want to know if you are spectating a fight between you or your friends, what are the signs in which you KNOW you should stop the fight? Such as medical/health knowledge, or what you should look out for?

  • Tried this and it’s delicious! For the sauce, will I be able to use just adobo sauce without the peppers or is that a completely different flavor?

  • By any chance did you shouted up the stairs “kids burrito bowls ready” and one of the people renting a room in your house replied!!

  • Dani, have you had the roasted frozen corn from Trader Joe’s? I’ve been putting, it just thawed, in salads and 100% honest—I don’t use any dressing! It’s sweet and has a little char taste to it…

  • I know you like them German shepards, he’s only two and a half. Paying into Raw during the week to do legs, hopefully see you you there

  • Loved the positive message at the end. I also loved the humor in this. Lol y’all funny. I’m gonna try this recipe! Can I use ground chicken?

  • Hey I learned this tip you can also microwave it I think maybe up to 10 seconds but it will release some of that uses as well I love all of your tips.

  • @fightTIPS Shane, can you make a video on how to condition your legs for repeated kicking? I discovered in training that my cardio is fine as long as I’m only throwing punches, but when it’s time to throw kicks I get gassed after a few.

  • Hey Sonya! It’s been a while. I know I commented on this video before, but I forgot to ask you something. What store did you get your carb balanced flour tortillas from? I went to Waltmart and they just had the regular kind. Thanks.

  • Honestly, thank you so much for this video! I managed to get all the ingredients from a British supermarket and I’m so excited to make these for dinner tonight. Only change I’m going to make it after wrapping the burrito, I’m gonna crisp the outside in a pan with a little bit of butter. I’m not health eating, but your seasoning is on point! Liked & subscribed! Thanks for the taste test at the end! 10/10 shredding skills on the chicken. I don’t own a fancy food processor or blender so the fork method was brilliant! Thanks again!

  • @fightTIPS Hi Shane I am 13 years old and I have been doing BJJ for 7 years and boxing for 2 years and people have tried to bully me. It tends to be whenever they challenge me to a fight or you instigate a fight they back off.  eg in one scenario one guy said I’ll bash you and I went oh really cmon lets fight right now and I swear I will knock you out cold or I will kick you in the nuts so hard that you won’t be able to have babies and they always stay silent after that. Moral of the story: For me being passive doesn’t really work but when I be aggressive it goes way better (when I tried the passive approach they didn’t bother me and I had enough of it and became the aggressor)

  • Really dig the time lapse style. Please don’t stop making these, I made your chicken burrito bowls last week and they were awesome. I’ll try this one next.

  • I have a question when people say you need to get all your protein from foods like meat, etc.. What do they mean by you need to intake as much protein as you weigh? So say I weigh 153 do I need to at least get 150ish grams of protein from foods? I don’t know how it works

  • Thank you for pointing out sodium intake. My brother in law recently found out he has diabetes and it scared me so much that I started to notice how much sugar and sodium are in foods.

  • This recipe is so freakin good! I had to tell you guys. I’m cutting carbs for a few months and I took out the rice, and instead of bell peppers, put some brocoli and cauliflower, and cut up 22 grams of protein in turkey meat.

    210 Calories, 30g Protein, 700 mg Sodium, 20 Carbs, 6g Fat

Thanks Shane. I’ve started boxing 3 times a week, and you are a great, high spirits guy.
Keep it up man. You deserve only the best.:)

  • To bad this guy does not make a living off youtube, the quality is just to great for the views he gets..what a shame. Hope you make it.

  • Looks good Dani, I will be substituting cooked mushroom in place of meat and red sweet peppers instead of tomatoes. Should be delicious! I don’t eat meat and I’m allergic to tomatoes.

  • Hi Dani, I’ve been following you for many years! you’ve done a great service and your videos are very valuable in Youtube. I was busy with some things so couldn’t comment often. You’ve reached 999k subscribers and waiting for you reach 1Million subscribers.

  • Thanks for watching! If you like videos like this please don’t forget to SUBSCRIBE! Leave your questions or comments here! I would love to hear from you!

  • What would be the serving size if I mixed all the ingredients up? I usually just make one pot meals to have ready to measure and serve.

  • Thanks for the tips on lowering your sodium . I’m on a low salt diet, because I have high blood pressure. And I think many people don’t realize how much sodium they eat in their diet. Especially people that eat a lot of fast food, you don’t realize how much is in there. This is something I think we all need to take heed to, because as you get older it will affect your health. So again thanks for putting that out there for people.

  • Rob I’m dying to know where you got the cholula Ive been contemplating robbing one from Tolecta for months now haha can’t find it anywhere!

  • Burritos are one of my weaknesses. Thank god I found this channel.
Question: Can I use lemon or lime juice for recipes instead of fresh lemons or limes to save money?
