You know that Blue Apron thing is a great idea. However anyone notice how much plastic is being used? We as humans have become so dependent and ok with all the plastics we produce. The sad truth is that all the plastic being used is either A going to end up in the ocean or B a giant dump. Sure the dump sounds like a good spot, however, what happens when we run out of space for said dump? Not only is Realestate a factor, but also the toxicity is also a factor. You see when it rains, the rain washes off all the harmful chemicals from the plastics like all the oils and those chemicals end up in our soil which in turn end up in our water supplies/ crops. So in turn we’re killing ourselves. As a species we need to understand that this day and age there is countless alternatives to plastic use. Such as reusable water bottles, bamboo utensils, plant based food wraps, metal razors, metal straws, reusable grocery bags, the list goes on. So please be more consensus about the earth and your purchases and limit your plastic usage, and please make it an effort to recycle more.

A really great gift I found recently is called http://www.GoGyft.com!

You know that Blue Apron thing is a great idea. However anyone notice how much plastic is being used? We as humans have become so dependent and ok with all the plastics we produce. The sad truth is that all the plastic being used is either A going to end up in the ocean or B a giant dump. Sure the dump sounds like a good spot, however, what happens when we run out of space for said dump? Not only is Realestate a factor, but also the toxicity is also a factor. You see when it rains, the rain washes off all the harmful chemicals from the plastics like all the oils and those chemicals end up in our soil which in turn end up in our water supplies/ crops. So in turn we’re killing ourselves. As a species we need to understand that this day and age there is countless alternatives to plastic use. Such as reusable water bottles, bamboo utensils, plant based food wraps, metal razors, metal straws, reusable grocery bags, the list goes on. So please be more consensus about the earth and your purchases and limit your plastic usage, and please make it an effort to recycle more.
Fun fact! Did you know only 9% of plastic in the US is recycled. That’s partly due to societal behavior, but also the corporations not giving us an incentive to do so. However in Germany a number as high as 80% has been recorded in regards to the amount of plastic they recycle.
