  • I just wanted to say that because, oddly enough, you were a pokemon youtuber, i trusted you more for some reason? and because of that, i began my keto diet 56 days ago and i wanted to thank you for making this particular video because without it, i wouldn’t be seeing the changes i so desperately needed for years.

  • I can attest to the last one. I thought I was carb cycling but while keto was helping me lose weight for the first time in a long time when I got back on the carbs I was putting on more way than ever before and hit my new high, past 280 for the first time, truly one step forward and two steps back. I didn’t know the science, I just figured my body must have thought we have to make the most of this while we can. Back on the wagon now. My mentality moving forward is to give myself 9 months, a sort of rebirth if you’d like.

  • u have a great way of explaining things bro! Your last remarks in your “zen” place was the exact same conclusion I just came to as well. Lately ive just been focused on my music and trying to get healthy, not really concerned with trying to get a “rotation” going, but more so on becoming the best me I can be. Ever since everything else just been falling into place on its own

  • The only thing we can control in life is how we respond to life. You rose like a fucking phoenix!! Thank you for sharing the wellness Brix! Love

  • Lost 8 kg in a little less than 1 and 1/2 months. Thank you for getting me on the right start.

Update: Lost 11 kg in two months, i don’t know what that is in lbs though.

  • This video is amazing so proud of you. I needed this today. I have struggled with my weight my entire life to and recently I found my self settling again. Plateauing. Then I see you. Thank you! For helping me stay on my personal journey your a wonderful motivation. Your awesome keep posting videos. Thanks again! Your awesome you rock!

  • Admire your sincere point of view, love how you explain everything, long worthy video. I have the same problem with food that makes everything reverse the advances just like you Girl love! And love the food combination that you made totally doable ❤️!

  • These videos are really giving me motivation to lose weight. I just always start and stop but I think this time i will not stop until i see myself in da mirror and feel satisfied.

  • Congratulations on your amazing weight loss ‍♀️ in my heart you are a champion your story has encouraged me to continue with my lifestyle journey I finally made the change for myself at 215 lbs I’m now at 178 lbs and hearing your story has giving me motivation to continue thank you for sharing stay positive and keep it going kudos to sister for caring enough and being your support system…..

  • For all the women that are offended = hypocrisy. Straight up and down. I have 3 older sisters. The way they talked about dudes they dated, liked, didn’t like whatever was BANANAS. Only difference is they aren’t on camera. Women are brutal when they think it’s just women. Waaaaaaay more than men. I’ve seen it first hand and it is what it is.

  • i feel like we need more brix talk where you talk about women relationship advice all that. feel like you the big brother I never had

  • You can do it! My recommendation? Read “The Carnivore Code” by Dr Paul Saladino. When you eat satiating and highly nourishing meat, the sweet tooth goes away and the weight falls off. I eat a carnivore diet and run ultra trail races and bang weights in my garage gym. You can do it too. Saladino also has a great podcast and youtube channel, if you want to check out his stuff right away.

  • All I can say about that is, tell those who overlooked you before to keep pushing. One thing that I learned as I grew and matured in my adult life is, you gotta stop looking at the glam and look deeper to the heart and listen closely…..I’m not saying get someone you not attracted to but be sure that they are worth while..Mind, Body & Spirit….That All Folks!!!!!

  • Nice video. currently at 260 and want to get down to at least 220. Nice change of pace to see someone that has undergone a significant weight loss, instead of so many others that were already in good shape to begin with.

  • Really thinking about this accountability coaching. Just kind of hesitant because of the Covid. That’s a video idea. Is it a good time to invest in online coaching during the uncertainty of this epidemic and having gym access?

  • Most Black men prefer BBWs, on the under. I’ve seen very interesting posts on social media with men having a strong preference for big women.

  • Society is such a double standard. I was literally just out and overheard a group of women objectifying men. From penis size, n-bomb and being broke. It happens, stop being sensitive about everything. For the people saying “you have a daughter” he is well aware. And as a parent we aren’t naive to what will be said about our children from the opposite sex. Best we can do is prepare them for it because IT WILL HAPPEN!!

  • First I wanna say I appreciate you being this open and real with us because let’s face facts this is how bros actually (not all of us but we do more or less) talk when they get together ain’t no need to sugar coat it. The whole car conversation is real and if you pay attention his friend is the main one talking like that and not you and that shows that in a sense you don’t believe in and think like he does. How you all with him shouldn’t have anything to do with your parenting at all it’s two separate things and they need to leave that alone, as long as you know your doing right as a father to your daughter then pay everyone else no attention. Secondly where are y’all at lol it looks like a fye place full of nice scenery and places to go. But overall ignore everything negative you showed us your real self and not a lot of people will approve or appreciate it and tell you how to run your channel

  • Real talk Brix I proposed to my live in girlfriend after 2 years of dating on 4th of July . She said no and is moving out! I am 255lbs 5’7. I need to get fit!

  • Thank you for this video, it started me on the Keto Diet that I’ve lost 17 lb so far since January (I’ve had a few hiccups-) and it’s the first time I’ve ever actually lost weight (or at least not since many years ago), so I’m super happy about itI hope to lose alot more until I’m actually healthy again ^^

  • You are truly an inspiration to me, and many others! You hit rock bottom but you came up fighting! Awesome story! Thank you for the courage to tell your true story, you have a big heart.

  • On a journey myself currently.. I am 285 wanting to lose 100. Knees hurt all of the time and my back hurts as well. I have 3 kids. Oldest 10, middle 3, and youngest 10months….. I want them to grow up with both parents. So a 2 weeks ago my husband and I started our weight loss journey.. looking for motivational videos and hours is truly amazing!! Thank you for sharing!! ❤️❤️❤️

  • Am I the only one that noticed the vid pic, thumbnail or whatever for dating fat vs. dating fit? Dating fat appears to be a black girl and dating fit is a white girl. He said his caliber of women went up when he got fit. I don’t know how to take that. I’ve only watched a few of his vids, thought about subbing. But, I’m good now.

  • I’m so glad I watched this. Its not easy doing research on mobile cause most sites are not dependable, thank you! I hope I can still workout on this diet just for basic health and body shape reasons!!

  • What was disrespectful about what his boy said? 1st off it was a private conversation that they LET YOU IN ON. So judgement of any kind is a no no. Secondly he didn’t objectify women at all.

  • Yooo…real rap…this video dmhas done a lot for me…im not even sure if you will read this but I gotta say this has done a lot for me…im on my journey now to health and rebuilding my confidence and bc of this video it has encouraged me to keep going…i appreciate u fellas for keeping it 1k…

  • You made a lot of women mad with this one Bruh. Lol. They out of pocket trying to act like you can control what your dude says. That’s a grown man with his own thoughts and opinions. I’ve heard females saying similar things about men but this is where the double standards kick in. Keep doing your thing and ignore the hate. You’ll never be able to make everybody happy.

  • Kp being u bro. Kp inspiring and motivating. Ignore haters and negatively. None of us are perfect. U and u dude in the car kpt it solid and tapped into the reality of how and why pple are viewed in society a certain way. Some pple never like hearing the truth. Regardless of how it comes out

  • Hey brixs my name is Seth and I’m 47 yrs old I’m just starting to my fitness journey I’m trying to get a SixPack an be over all healthy I’m 5’9” an weigh around 215 how would you recommend I start off my life style change

  • I tried no sugar for 24 hours and by the end of it I was begging my friend to take me to the hospital because i felt SOOOOO SICK ‍♀️ he took me to in n out instead

  • In all honesty, this is how men talk when it’s just the boys. Brix and his mans were just speaking facts! I can understand where women might feel disrespected. But lord knows what y’all be talking about when it’s just the girls. Brix keep doing your thing. This video was needed bro!

  • I think I may be in Brix’s generation(80s baby)and from Brooklyn as well(Bed Stuy). He is definitely correct when he described how rough Brooklyn of the 80s and 90s was. I was very fortunate to have a strong family unit to help me navigate some of the challenges. But a lot of other people from the neighborhood fell by the wayside. I also believe that neighborhoods like Brownsville, Bed Stuy, East New York, Flatbush, etc, did help to build strong character and tenacity. All in all, I support what Brix is doing. And despite not battling extreme obesity the way that he did, I find him to be very relatable. That’s why his content is appealing. I think his message and his mission are admirable. He will help many in their Fitness and Wellness Journeys.

  • Started at 297. I’m now 270 in about 25 days. I know I will slow down but I feel great and I went from 42 to 38-40 pant size depending on the brand. My goal is 200. Your videos are helping me a lot.
I’m doing 48 hours fasts. (eating every two days) 2 times per week and omad the other days.

  • This was so good and so TRUE! I had a similar journey (and ya maybe I didn’t have a trainer like everyone is commenting) but the same principles apply!
    1.sugar is the devil
    2.find what works for u
3.u need to move ur body!!!

  • I can relate bro i was the same as u i was over weight inwas 127kgs bro i would stay in bed do nothing eat all the dam time where i just wonted to end it i stated a product called thrive to give me the boost i needed now i weigh 105 kgs started gym now and i feel so good

  • Only thing I think that will eventually slow me down is work.
2 jobs, 16 hours shifts some days for one job and then working late at night for the other job. I’ve been trying really hard and I feel amazing. I’ve been eating two meals a day, doing IF and keto. I feel great. I do workout too.

  • Brix, I enjoy your channel because you exude positivity. Please don’t ruin it by having guests like the one you had on this video. His overuse of profanity was indicative of much more than he cares to admit. And yes…he clearly has a chip on his shoulder. Your guest was too negative and was trying too hard. Keep your channel clean so that ALL groups of people can enjoy it. I’m not suggesting that there can’t be any use of profanity as I realize sometimes it serves a purpose, but the overuse is a complete turnoff. Health is a universal interest.

  • Thank you for motivating me I have been following you YouTube clips a and exercises and I have drop so much weight I feel great once again thank you…..

  • I understand why some people are offended from this video after watching his other videos, but i enjoyed the convo. Despite him saying the b word for the more sensitive viewers, shit was true.

  • Honestly, I don’t agree with your first rule.
There must have been something wrong with that study that you’re basing this idea on, or there’s a “factor” that’s not being considered or is missing.
Cause, the very first time I got “really” fat, was when I was 16. I gained 40 pounds in two months simply from being home after school and eating too much TOAST (aka bread) as a snack, as well of course eating well with meals otherwise, which included a fair amount of carbs. This wasn’t the only example of this. When I got married, my Chinese wife was a good cook, and I gained a 100 pounds or so within a year. There have been other times in my life in which I’ve eaten a LOT of fatty foods, and didn’t gain anything. This also I believe is backed up by the science. Carbs not burned are stored as fat, whereas you don’t generally eat enough fat like you do carbs to store “too much”. Further, there are cultures that eat a LOT of fat, less carbs, and yet they are skinny.

I don’t know, I think you would have to be going CRAZY with fat to have it have anywhere close to a similar effect as carbs. Carbs are what’s the killer.

  • We should make this video go viral, in order to cancel Brix. This is a really bad representation of women. That’s why theres alot of the #metoo movement, cus of men that speak of women in this manner. If he speaking this way, I can imagine how Brix or his friend treat his women. This is soooo horrible. Demoralizing women and calling them by their body parts are just horrible.

Brix, you should take this video down because this video will resuface

  • well the straight disrespect you both still have that fat frame of mind full of who you will always be and will never mature people just are who they are glad you feel blessed but really are you…

  • You are SO right about the pendulum swinging in the opposite direction and as great as it is to promote body positivity, some people take it WAY too far. There’s a difference between loving yourself and cramming processed foods, junk into our bodies that can eventually give you clogged arteries, diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, heart attacks, and calling that ‘loving yourself.’

  • i started training one month ago and i lifted too much so my arms was in constant pain. then i (for fun) tried the 1 kg. weights and i had the good pain afterwards as i should but not the painfull wrong pain if ya know? dont be too scared to start out slow! and if its too easy u just go up 1 step at a time after a week.

  • So, I have two questions:
    1) Personally, what did you eat on the keto diet and what would you most recommend?
    2) If I go off the keto diet after reaching my ideal weight, will I quickly gain the weight back?

  • Coming back to this video after a few years and that final BF% measurement is so inaccurate lmao. 15% for most women means you have chiseled abs, striations in your arms, and likely on the verge of amenorrhea. I’m sorry but Steve is a damn liar.

  • Keeping it real as always. Chur bro. I don’t know how you stay so composed with telling your story man. I got asked to write mine and I’m mess just doing that haha. Ps. My b/day 2/18

  • Honestly I think your video was inspiring I am going through my body transformation due to my wedding coming up and wanting and needing to be healthier, so thank u. I will keep trying cuz I am at a standstill in my journey and have been so down about it. However I’m not going to give up so thank u, knowing someone that looks as good as u knows what I’m going through and u still are getting to where u want to be.

  • I think the “Reese’s” and “Reese’s Pieces” pronunciation is a Pennsylvania thing because I’m closer to Pittsburgh and that’s how everyone I know pronounces them.

  • Are overweight Men ever embarrassed when having sex? Dropping sweat on the female, Penis not really inside the female things of that nature.

  • Question: Did you also cut out alcohol? Completely? I know it’s all empty calories, but I’m just curious if that was difficult, or if you drank at all in the first place.

  • I love how you’re a fit guy but you UNDERSTAND the mindset of a fat person. SOOOOO many trainers are simply out of touch with their clients that aren’t coming from a fitness lifestyle.

  • now would we be classified as part of the 1000 if we strictly were inspired by your youtube videos but didnt do your programs? i began watching your video last year and your story and videos inspired me to get fit stay motivated an start intermittent fasting as well, im nearly 70lbs down with goals to hit 100lbs

  • I have observed that People who loose large amount of weight have kinda weird(big) face structure later on. I wonder if face bones also gets bigger along weight gain.

  • Man how many people whining about a brief car convo about women. Boy it’s so many sensitive people in this world. Keep doing you bruh, I truly appreciate the motivation. to the haters, put in some work instead complaining about how somebody talk with his boys.

  • Just had to pause for the “coke habit” accidental slip. Lol. But I got what you meant. Also +1 for vanilla coke, the underrated/underappreciated of the cokes.

  • hello! new subscriber here! I prolly binged watched 5 or 6 of your video until I came up to this one. it’s very timely because I literally have the same body goals as u. could u ask for what exercises Steve made u do and how many reps (basically the entire program) because I have the same problem with my body now and I’m just having mild eating disorders from trying out all sorts of diets and cardio and hiit that just wears me out all the time. or does he have a book about your specific program or just similar to it? because its I live away from the city (I’m from a province in the Philippines) and we only have 1 gym 10 miles from here and it shut down because of the pandemic.

  • I am very very addicted to sugar.. could eat it all day, usually do in fact because it’s true!
Almost everything has sugar in it, yet I feel so shit.. I need to quit,
    Best of luck to y’all
Thanks for the cool video, keep it up!

  • I need some guidance. I watched this about three weeks ago and I decided I was going to give it a real shot.
I’ve sat down with my husband and went through everything in our kitchen and what I would eat regularly.
We threw away almost everything in our kitchen and went shopping for about 2 hours. We read and researched everything and made complete keto friendly edits to what I used to eat.
I eat almost no sugar and less than 80 carbs a day but I’m hitting a wall with what I can or cannot cut out of my diet. I can’t figure out how to lower my carbs anymore than I am currently at; I was reading that you need 15 30 grams of net carbs a day but it seems impossible.
Am I doing something wrong? My calorie intake is about 1,200 1,500 a day but any lower and I can’t stop being hungry. Any tips or tricks?

  • When I cut sugar I was told to not exceed 3grams of sugar and to only eat integral wheat (it was pain cause I found out my body reacts badly with integral wheat and I started throwing up but I now eat integral but I can only handle 1 piece a week and it has to be small)

  • Funny thing is that I followed an “Expert nutritionist” once and they told me pretty much the exact opposite of most of this. Adam Ruins Everything is actually what first told me about the “Fat doesn’t make you fat, sugar does”. This, however, elaborates so much more. I know I’m late to this but thank’s for being a source I trust to get me into learning more about this and then doing it.

  • I agree with the other comments; you are drop dead gorgeous, a Thor like god among men. This video however does not help me personally. I leave it feeling like I need a degree in physiology, biochemistry and a team of doctors, nutritionists and personal trainers…oh and eventually sponsors to even get near what you have achieved. Also, all the “mistakes” you say you’ve made still got you to where you are so maybe mistakes are part of being awesome? Again, you are genetic perfection and it’s inspiring to look at you with the volume muted.

  • Women want you more cause you’re shape and not paying attention to them! That’s all it takes. When I was in shape I could have sex with “mostly” whoever I wanted, married or not. Which is why I have trust issues with women til this day…

  • You are the type of examples that I listen too! Success is your testimony even your skin looks remarkably different, in before after images. Walking in ones truth. ❤️ this thank you, TD.

  • I’ve been following Keto for just over 4 weeks. I’m a 53 years old woman. I’m having trouble negotiating all the fats in this diet. I’m following your guidelines and suggestions for the healthy fats, but pili nuts, olive oil marinated goat cheese, etc upset my stomach. I was raised by gallbladder-less family, and my body isn’t adjusting. After a month of feeling stomach upset, how can I adjust? Or maybe Keto isn’t for me? I’ve lost 15 pounds, so I’m happy with the weight loss…. I don’t know what to do

  • Several years of stress have made me pack on the pounds. I have a problem with managing my stress, and making good nutrition decisions when I’m under stress. I need to figure out fasting appropriately and how to get out of a stressed state more quickly

  • Thank you so much for making this video. This whole time I’ve been dieting and failing to lose weight even when I was eating my vegetables and the whole time I was eating carbs thinking they were good for me. So now thanks to this vid, I can hit the reset button and try it again but with knowledge from u

  • you look amazing mykie!!! i see you rocking the buff bunny joggers! that’s awesome. heidi is such a badass! christian her boyfriend is one of my favorite fitness youtubers and he’s killing it with alphalete and alphaland.

  • Thank you for this video. I love the fact that she did it naturally and started “small” by doing 10 minutes of exercise a day and working up from there. Very inspiring!

  • Amazing thanks for sharing
I dry fast for 23hrs daily apart from the family occasions.
    No more hunger or cravings.
I get a good night’s sleep and my skin is soft and glowing.
    Stay safe 8

  • Brix I was on your channel WAYYY back in the day before you even met Cami and was a big fan then. Probably had like 10-15k followers! I remember the video you guys did together doing the circuits! Anyway I felt like your channel got dull for a little took some time off and now I’m back 600k insane! Loving the new videos bro!

  • This has started my weight loss journey in November last year and I have lost over 30 pounds since then because I did the research then. Thank you!

  • I am so overwhelmed by all of this information and I am finding myself fighting anger. I am 63 years old, 5’6 small frame and I have had a high metabolism my entire life. I have never weighed more than 115 lbs. and ate whatever I wanted well into my late 50’s with never an ounce gained. Three years ago something changed and I found myself weighing 178 lbs. I was so disgusted with myself that last year I decided I was going to do something about it. My friend who is a holistic nutritionist started me out doing the OMAD. I would have 10 oz. coffee, 1 tbsp. kerrygold butter & 2 stevia packets. Then nothing to eat until dinner where I had to try and stuff myself with 1665 calories in one sitting. I did it for 2 months lost 10 pounds but I was so hungry that I started becoming obsessed over it to the point I was watching the clock until I could eat something. I would try to take a nap to get thru a part of day so I wouldn’t be thinking about food. Then 5 weeks ago I discovered the I.F. and thought it would work better for me. Well, needless to say that friend became a non-friend. Three weeks ago I came across the Keto diet and the more I read the more excited I got because I knew this was the fit I was looking for. I have read and watched every video I could to learn about the keto diet. I have been on the Keto diet now for 2 weeks but I am so overwhelmed because I am getting so many mixed messages that that I haven’t lost a single ounce. Eat more carbs, don’t eat any carbs, eat only 20 50 grams of carbs a day. Well, that is the problem because every single thing you eat has carbs in it with the exception of fats. So you have your meats, some cheeses, butters, your heavy creams. If I had to avoid carbs that is all I would be eating is FAT. A few days ago a person in my Facebook keto group ran some figures based on my age, gender, height, weight and level of daily activity. Based on my workout, which has been m/w/f strength training with weights, s/t/th doing some form of HIIT and walking on the treadmill she came up with these calculations. Total daily calories 1665, fat intake 136 grams, protein 82 grams and my carbs no more than 25 grams. I was suppose to have my fat and weight down to around 140 by now but instead I have wasted weeks trying to listen to every person on what I should do that my weight has stalled and is trying to go back up. I was trying to get this 50 lbs, off so when I went back to Quantico at the end of August my grandson would be really proud of me and I wouldn’t have to feel ashamed any more of all the fat I had on my gut. Well, it looks like I failed I guess I will be going back there looking like a fat cow. I do appreciate your videos don’t get me wrong but you and everyone else contradicts what you say or I am to stupid to understand anything. I have cried so much over the last three days over this entire mess. I am just on disability I can’t afford all of those whey proteins and pea proteins. I have $783.00 a month to live on which my rents is $300.00. I have never been one to give up ever. I”m sorry you had to listen to a ranting old lady but I had to get this off my chest. Now your saying don’t eat fats with carbs, that just doesn’t make any since at all.

  • I was about to say “I bet Gabbie is in there somewhere “ and then I saw you guys working out together and I was like “awwww there she is ❤️”

  • So watching this after finally taking the steps to lose weight has really helped me. I know where to start, have been trying to cut out the sugar and carbs. I won’t say I hate it but my body has “thrived” on sugar for nearly 30 years, trying to kick that habit is akin to trying to stop doing meth or some other serious drug. Sugar is addictive and it makes everything taste better, I mean cotton candy is literally the best food in the world. There are cotton candy flavored grapes that are to die for. Still I am trying…not well so far it’s only been less then a week and have slipped up several times. I have determined start in august to fully commit to the no sugar. I just found a bottle of sugar free fresca in my fridge and was delighted to see it actually says zero sugar and no carbs so I have that. I was much like lockstin sustaining myself on pop(soda), I think I was around the same in terms of amount. I also recently had a bout of gout or what I assume it was, it lined up perfectly with all the symptoms. Super painful and caused entirely by my diet and weight all the info said. So I endeavor to try losing weight, hell if i even lose just a 100 pounds I would be skinnier then I ever have been…dark dark day those many years ago when I saw the big 300. Anyways hopefully I can stick with this and better myself.

  • I’ve learned more in the last week about keto, fat loss, fasting, and IF, than I learned in the last 5 years. Glad my internist recommended I combine IF and Keto to treat intractable migraines and other neurological bs, and I’m extremely glad I found your channels, Thomas. Gonna get me some abs up in here. Hope you have videos on what you do for arms, shoulders and chest, too!

  • unless you are on a keto and you have a normal balanced diet, its impossible to eat normally and not to mix fats and carbs:) everytime you eat some meat with potato or rice, unless this is super lean meat, its fat and carbs, right? oatmeal with yoghurt and nuts and seeds which is by my opinion as a nutritionist, very good example of balanced meal, is also fats and carbs )))) all other points make perfect sense otherwise, thanks for sharing!

  • October 1, 2019 I was 340 pounds. Today is July 6, 2020 and I am 235 pounds. I haven’t done one minute of exercise. I have just been doing strict keto, one meal per day, and getting it done with the fork and the knife. Anyone can do it if you have the discipline.

  • OMG his tips on abs literally proved a theory I thought I came up with on how to get a flatter belly oh yes…
I absolutely love this video because you not trying to sell it as THE way, you’re humble and honest about your process and I love that and I’m going to use you as inspiration <3

  • I always get caught out by that “hit that bell icon” bit on videos. I watch on the app on an iPad and can’t see a bell icon next to sub.

  • Hi Thomas. I am 270 and want to go down to 170, similar to your old situation. I am starting my journey. and will incorporate some of the things you’ve said in this video. How long did it take you to lose the 100 pounds?

  • Yano i had massive respect for you because of how informed you are on a subject which isnt really spoken about but seeing that you was once a big person aswell just blows my mind dude seriously kudos to you thats really inspired me an dont get much of that these days. Your a legend dude thankyou

  • Reached my breaking point a year and a half ago and have been watching your vids and makes changes ever since after struggling with anxiety and depression from since i can remember… thank you for making this channel g! made a huge difference to me and plenty of others, sending love from the UK x

  • the moment you mentioned stress + overeating I saw myself a few years ago. I gained 40 pounds of fat in a short period of time and I am still trying to undo this horrible mistake. I feel like I am stuck with this weight. I really wish I had this advise three years ago. I feel like I will never lose these 40 pounds. It hurts so much.

  • I’m such a fat loser. I had 4 great kids. My marriage fell apart. My mom,,, my biggest fan. Passed away 8 years ago. I find myself on a barstool most nights. Lost. Trying to figure out how to save myself. I’m just fat and gross. Lost. I just want to go to sleep and never wake up

  • Gym vet meathead of 25 years, have competed in bodybuilding competitions on the natural side for half of them. If you folks think his physique is not enhanced with steroids you’re woefully optimistic.

Not here to cast aspersions, but it reminds me of sauced up bodybuilders in fitness magazine ads promoting hydroxycut. The hydroxycut had little or nothing to do with it.

I wont speculate on what cycles he is/has done, but please dont deceive good people out there with unrealistic goals that cannot be achieved without gear.

*Youtubes algorithm loves this guy tho, so theres that

  • the convo between you and your boy in the car was real. I needed to hear that. I agree with all of his comments too.
I think it’s a “belief barrier” people create for themselves by attributing their successes to physical transformation. I believe it’s a lot more mental than it is physical.
People who have an issue with you both having an honest conversation says a lot about people’s ability to handle another person’s honest OPINION
EDIT after seeing the video through to the end:
It was nice to see your thoughts at the end of the video. Seems like the frank conversation with your boy where he corrected the narrative you had been perpetuating about your physicality attracting a better calibre of women, had led to you having an epiphany the next morning about “indifference”.

This is why honest conversations, regardless of how hard they might be to listen to, are very important. Friends like that are so invaluable

  • such an inspirational video!! i’m on my own journey right now and i hope to be able to stick to it until my goal is in reach. much love to you mykie!! you’re awesome!

  • This was the video that motivated me to start the keto diet. I started at around 260 lbs and I’m now at 180 lbs
I have been stuck at 180 for a while tho, with some belly fat that’s still there, but I’m still very happy with my progress.

  • he said a lot but in short what a person has to do is to not be a gluttonous pig. the standard western diet doesn’t help either. if a person ate within their means, they wouldn’t have to fast or be mindful of a whole host of other things like exercise, although it’s good to exercise. not many overweight people are going to admit that they gorge on food but that’s what they’re doing. and then they try to work it off (if they do) but the easier way would be to just not stuff your body so much.

  • it’s not too hard to eat healthy when you let yourself eat unhealthy once in a while. for those struggling with strict diets, they don’t have to be that way! I know some people feel guilty when they eat clean and then have something that isn’t as healthy. but it’s okay! sometimes your body needs something like that to be able to keep going.

  • I feel like a murderer…. I work as a baker! “Eat the bread and pastrys… Yesss…. Get that sugar into your bodyyyy…. Excellent….”

  • I’m folllowing keto to a T even counting my macros and the good healthy fats are making me fatter and I’m staying under 18 carbs, I’m gaining weight!!!! I’m in menopause so this isn’t working for me.yes I’m fasting

  • The dude in the car still has some growing and maturing he still overcompensate his insecurities with his loud aggressive demeanor. He still has insecurites within himself as a man and lacks respect for women and feels the need to talk down women to make himself look more like a man. He still has a naive and immature mentality towards women and dont want to equate your physical and mental growth and appearance does play a factor in the people you attract as well.

  • The same way yall want a beautiful healthy women that taste and smell good.. is the same way we want our men LMFAOOO this ain’t shrek let’s not forget the attitude gotta be straight as well as the priorities

  • I am so glade I ran in to your page. I am 340lb 150lb over Wight and 49 years of age. I hurt all over the place,  I need knee replacement its effecting my job and my family personal life I have been doing KETO for over a year and have only lost 10lb. But I have been watching your videos for the pat two days and learning a lot more of what I should be doing. My only worry right now is my knees and pain. Its only going to get worse. losing 60lb seems so far away to have that surgery. And I might lose my job because I cant do much here at work and they cant wait for me to get my Wight off tell I can walk again. I am going to give up I just need to get it off fast so I can have that surgery. thank you for giving your free advise on your page.

  • When i had uncovered this fat loss program, I felt fired up to give it a try instantly. This has given me thrills. My close friend lost 10 lbs right after this weight loss program. My good friend has shed 10 lbs by now due to this weight loss program. Google can help you to research it. weight’s name is under.
    Bella Kaγozko
    good luck

  • Any way you could make a video or a doc with like your top 10-20 most useful recipes that have helped you stick to this diet change?

  • IM CONFUSED OK so I want to try this diet, but when you say high fat what kind of fat foods should I eat? I know to stay away from breads and rice and to ease in with veggies also to limit fruit. But what are the fatty foods I should focus on?

  • Loses 140lbs and makes a video of 1hr And 40mins. This is extremely inspirational and I’m genuinely happy for you man. This is the wake up call I needed to make changes. Thank you

  • I am also 172 cm. I have gone from januar 2018 from 100kg to 75kg in august 2018. I was on lchf with 1800kcal a day. Did not took me any gym. Althout now 2 years later i am constanly riding my bike:)

  • I’m so glad to not be over 400 lbs anymore. I was inspired to create a channel myself which sucks right now but I would love your support to help grow my channel Brix and Brix Squad. 109 lbs lost in just 6 months on keto + IF

  • since you said this is an ongoing process, do you have a new “after” video that you are going to upload? You did mention that this is more at progress and not the final result you’re going for.

  • I know this video is going on two years old, but I wanted to come on here and say that this video was the catalyst for me finally deciding to start my (2nd) weightloss journey. I started keto on June 2nd at 225 lbs and so far I’m down a little over 17 lbs <3. Thank you so much for sharing your experience and making such and in-depth and passionate video.

  • I just want to thank you cause watching your video gave me the motivation to do it. I’m two months in and feel amazing and look great! I’m still going hard and not giving up.

  • I agree. I couldn’t even roll with a brutha like that. I have a daughter and it would crush me for her to even accept socializing with a brutha who’s that disrespectful and has no clue!!!

  • The book the woman is holding at 2:40 is upside down, and she’s reading right-to-left. Is she seriously practicing reading upside down?? Other than that, great advice!

  • im sorry i love your vids but this diet is terrible no carbs limited protein relying on fat only. Sorry but thats terrible. You may lose the weight but you give up almost on all the food. If you love potatos like me you cant give up on this.

  • Thank you for this valuable information.
I am a kid that has a overweight problem and this may help to slim me down.

  • Brix is a real man telling us his life story and I respect and thank him for making these videos for us because they help and motivate me a lot. ❤️ Go to his website SQUAD

  • I just started keto! Down 9 pounds in 4 days. (Also intermittent fasting)
    Started on June 5, 2020.

The first 5 of that though was probably water weight though. I was drinking alot more, but felt I was peeing a hell of a lot more than I was drinking.

Sugar withdrawals SUCKED but got through it!

Had diarrhea too, wasn’t expecting that. But after 4 days I’m starting to adjust and get over that!

  • Tomfast on the days your stressed
    me:O don’t eat for 3 weeks????
Tom…… not everyday if your stressed everyday…….
Meohhhhh:) yeah your right, I need to sort my shit out! haha

  • I’m a yo-yo’er (gain 100lbs lose a 100lbs) but I’m 35 and just going out and jogging has caused some serious surgeries with a 300-400 lb man slamming his bones on the ground IE Bone spurs that were cutting into my Achilles. Can’t keep up. I’ll use your recommendation and try keto starting at 375lbs this time. GO GO lifestyle change.

  • As a women I think you are not only good looking but you’ve grown and you seem to be a respectable man and a good father with goals but your friend is toxic stay clear of that man I wouldn’t give him the time of day the way he speaks is gross and immature he would get a very lo value women

  • I need a suggestion on how to lower colesterol and maintain healthy weight I don’t really eat alot of carbs as far as I know send me an email if you think you can help me

  • I’m interested in the keto diet, conceptually it makes sense to me. I am worried about either developing type two diabetes OR developing high cholesterol and putting myself at risk for things like heart disease. Keto sounds great for avoiding diabetes, but what about the risk of cholesterol? Anybody with more knowledge, I am seeking input

  • Hey, thanks for making this video. It helped me lose 4 inches off my waist and helped me help my sis (an epileptic) lose weight and improve her overall health.

  • Although alot of this was cringeworthy, alot was still useful. I’m like the guy in the car I still feel like that same ole fat dude even though I’ve lost over 70 lbs. I can definitely tell a difference in how I’m treated tho, I can sense when people start drooling over me..kinda becomes a little uncomfortable at times..I’m still learning how to deal with the excessive attention.

  • Can anyone expand on what would be considered too much fat on the keto diet, percentage wise?

I have been tracking everything and there are times where i think my overall fat percentage for the week could be too high. Sometimes it is above 80%. Should I change this?

  • I was on keto for months. While working out 5x a week. With rests days being weekends.
And I was able to legpress80 lbs.

And I can push a trailer hitch. I looked good until covid. Now I’m back up to 180lbs. And in 5’3. I got down to 175lbs

  • Thanks. A lot. I first saw this video back in mid December and you motivated me to make a change. Here I am, barely 4 months later, feeling much better and down 60 lbs. I’ve got about 30 more to go until I hit my goal weight, but I feel like I’m already there. As cliche as it sounds, you helped change my life. Again. I mean it. Thanks.

  • Congratulations! I loved that you said “you enjoy all of the changes I’ve made.” I think that must be a very important foundation for making permanent change, not that you “enjoy” every moment, but that you appreciate them for what they are. Congrats, again!

  • I started keto 10 weeks ago and have loss pounds when from 230 to 213I’m working out there time a week ( cross training) how long does it take lose my belly

  • Eerbody loves Brix for being real until YOU are offended by others true thoughts. We live in the world with all type of people bro keep being real and having real people on here. If you can’t stand to see real people act real you should be on msnbc watching a sitcom with controlled situations and actors. I’m on here for the real ish

  • Im disabled and i have mild spastic cerebral palsy, it effects all muscles in my body and makes it hard for me not to get pain, but i was working out 5x a week weightlifting, also i was on keto. it helps but you also gotta eat right. I remember, its hard but its possible. I didnt lose much maybe like 10 pounds. But i made it into toned mucsle. Which us better then being overweight. But since covid im bound to 10-30weight dumbells.
Im 5’3 and 180lbs. Anyone have any tips for me? I have gallstones and a stomach ulsar. Which kakes it impossible to lose and week it off in my stomach.

  • As far as music, maybe you should invest in a studio; with all the equipment & charge for a few. Also get your producing skill up and make it happen. Lol just a thought keep winning

  • Ya boy is foul. How old are y’all?I just found your channel, watched a couple of videos and was about to subscribe but if this is how you roll nah I’m good.

  • I have an idea! How about a “what happens when you…” Series like what happens when you don’t stay hydrated, what happens when you overdo caffeine (of which i am neeeever guilty of or anything), what happens when you don’t get enough sleep, etc. All about the physiological effects on the body.

  • I’ve been on keto for a year now because of you. I went from 190lbs to 145lbs in just the first 4 months. I went from a sixe 1X to a small. And I’m immensely more healthy, all my blood work is perfect and I have more energy and a clear head.
Thank you for sharing your testimony

  • I was in a really bad state. I was (well still am) very overweight but still not in a critical state (physically) however I was quickly heading there because mentally I had completely given up. I had even accepted that I was for sure going to have a short life due to obesity. I watched this video, this was the first time I learned about Keto and this immediately felt like something I could do. Right after finishing watching I did some extra research on my own and decided to give it a go, from that moment I dropped the carbs and started on Keto.

It’s been about 3 months and this is the first time I genuinely feel it’s working for me and like this is something that I can sustain long term. For the first time I’m steadily feeling great while losing weight and I don’t even feel like I’m “on a diet”, this is just the way I eat now and I love it!. Tank you for this video, you saved my life.

  • I’m a dietician and I was happy to see you use nih for info! Most people just jump on the first thing on a google search. Just watch your bone mineral density! So happy for you!

  • I’m a dietitian and I’m so happy that you found something that has been so effective. Its relatively clear to me that you have some implict bias that is affecting your interpretation of what is undoubtably a huge volume of information. I have some points of contention (ileal break/fiber, direct dietary fat deposition), but I do think you did a fairly even handed job from a somewhat biased perspective. My hope is that if someone sees this video and is inspired they find a medical professional for support!

  • The part about doctors not requiring to take more courses is pretty much true. I have two jobs, both working with doctors, and very rarely do they go to meetings with other doctors to learn new information, and they’re not very formal either. No studying is required, and the meetings last 1-3 days max. Not long enough to truly learn the new information.

  • Local man rambles about the dangers of carbs and sugars for 1 hour and 40 minutes straight while a bottle of coca-cola sits innocently in the background.

  • So I did some light research on keto and I found a lot of stuff about how it lowered blood pressure to a healthy blood pressure. I suffer from really low blood pressure (they think it’s because my panic attacks cause my pressure to drop and I have chronic anxiety) so I was wondering if doing keto would lower my pressure further, making me need to use more sodium. My doctor told me that if I start to feel dizzy I should try to add a little bit of salt to my food. If you know anything about this I’d really appreciate it if you gave me a point in the right direction!

  • So I’ve been doing Keto for more than a month now and I’ve gone from 110-99 kilogramms now. I also eat only one meal a day and it works! I’m not really ever hungry anymore!

  • Ok sorry I’m late to the game but a friend just sent me this video and ive seen those keto pills do I need those or can i go with out it and still do fine

  • Ok, so did she have weight loss surgery!? That’s ALOT of weight to lose in such a short amount of time. Especially with her just saying she cut out processed foods and started exercising 10 minutes a day not saying it’s not possible, but it seems like it would take a lot longer. It takes me 6 months to lose 20 lbs!

  • Luv the post Brix. You always post great info. It helps to see other real people with real life stories. I’m from Syracuse NY. Small place lots happening. I grew up fast and it was my beginning. Lots of confusion but I learned a lot. We have to dig deep to resolve our adult issues. Its deeper than the surface. Transparency is key to healing and transforming.

  • Yah well not everyone’s body functions the same. Even healthy bodies don’t function or react the same. So stop using the generalizing phrase “your body”. You are not qualified to generalize people like this. The fact that you are a type 1 and doing this..yah..please dont give diet advice to other impressionable type 1 kids. Also..FACT…those cramps in your legs can be due to higher ketones too I’d love to see your actual numbers and how close you run to the line of ketoacidosis. ridiculous and dangerous. I too lost 100lbs. I worked out and ate 6 balanced meals a day(not a diabetic)…but I would not dare presume I have the cure all or the knowledge that will be healthy for all. Don’t assume anything is good for others..just because it worked for you. You are dangerous and anyone following your idiotic diet plan that gets on your hands bro!

  • This is beautiful. Although I do not agree with everything you say, I do agree with like 70-90% of it. The callories thing is a big one. Not to mention calories are a bad way of measuring food. For those who want to exercise, look online and try to make a short workout that you enjoy, be it 10 sit ups and 10 push ups or what ever it is, start easy and go ahead and add more exercises as you feel needed to the point you enjoy. Exercise should be something you enjoy not something you hate doing. I suggest sit ups as they feel great but every body is different so I hope you find what you like! (: Good luck and stay smart!

  • I love your videos but I’m just curious on how getting a felony stopped your rap career.? Usually getting a felony promotes your rap career. It makes you more authentic in that culture

  • You NEARLY (reasons below) want me to try out Keto, because it sounds like it could help me a lot (Especially with having chronicle inflammations like Asthma and inflammatory knee problems and YES, I’m pretty overweight… Each time I have to take Cortisone, I gain between 6-10 Kilos… Last year I had to take it 3 times…)

BUT just nearly, because… 1. I’m vegetarian; 2, I don’t like fatty food (it makes me feel sick); 3. I don’t like heavily salted/seasoned foods and 4. If you haven’t realized: I’m a picky eater xD

Not sure if I would be able to contain it, but I guess I will ask my doctor (he already told me to shorten my carb intake) and if there’s no real problem, I might try it…

I’ve never eaten Avocado, because it already looks so fatty, that I never wanted to try it I even got a disgust for meat through being forced to eat fatty meat by my family. My god… I don’t even OWN Oils and such… I haven’t eaten butter for 7 years, because I was disgusted by it. I’m now back with margarine. I can stomach it better xD
(And no, I’m not the person: “Fat is bad”, it’s just that I can’t stomach it well. I get cramps, my stomach hurt, I feel ill and I once even vomited right on my plate when I was forced to eat some fatty meat. That was the point I got really disgusted and even the thought of meat would make me feel sick to my stomach. Haven’t eaten meat since 2005 and I don’t miss a thing… Well, maybe Gyros… but more the seasoning than the meat itself xD

  • Thanks for the transparency openness honesty vulnerability and inspiration. Your story is moving and you would never guess all that was apart of your journey by looking. That’s why they say never judge a person by where they are today. You really showed your ass with this one LOL

  • You helped me loose 20 kg! I was afraid of starting, mostly because I didn’t believe in a way to loose weight without dedicating all my time to it. But i somewhat decided to try this in a “not so serious” way, but when i started to loose weight without much effort it was easy to keep going. Thank you.

  • Dude, I hope that you didn’t actually talk to the woman that approached you in the supermarket because you just basically insulted her by rating her and calling her a 7 1/2…. I hope she doesn’t watch this‍♀️smh

  • @Lockstin & Gnoggin fun fact brother, here in the wonderful u.s.a. there are handfuls and handfuls of “nutrients” that are illegal,,,,that my dear friend is flabbergasting!!!!!!!

  • I had the same sweet cravings all my life. I always reached out for the unhealthy sweets and eating fruits did not help with the cravings. Few months ago, I retired early and started reading about the articles about stopping sweet cravings. I eventually found the miracle herb. It is called Fennel seeds. It is the one that offered in Indian restraurants to remedy the bad breath after buffet lunch. I tried them before but I never thought about the amazing effects on sweet cravings. It turns out that it controls sugar levels. I eat about 0.2 oz a day and pretty much get rid of sugar cravings. I rarely eat late night sweet snacks now. It also cut my bread cravings as well. Since I started taking it, I am losing about 1 pound a week. I highly recommend it. I achieved this weight loss with little exercise. I hope this helps. Good luck Jonathan!!

  • sounds like you were extremely ignorant and lacking common sense without discipline, however you have recovered but still OCD with regard to your body and work outs.

  • Maybe you already did a video.. i’m 56..250lbs..but in pain all the time and just started working out again…because my doctor told me to…diet is hard in my house..can’t always get the foods i need..i would like to see what you are eating….what kind of foods

  • At 66 you have changed my life. Honestly, since watching and learning from you I am on the right track.  I went from 190 to 155 by diet and exercise.  I am working on upper body and would like to have the upper body you have. Thank you very much.

  • First, I got sooo hype when I saw that NSU photo. #BEHOLD!!! I entered in 2005. We may have passed each other on campus.

I started my weight loss journey during my senior year in college and it was an up and down road. I was pushing 300lbs, diagnosed with panic disorder, GAD, depression, etc…I won’t type my whole story, but…it was TOUGH.

I started losing weight after college, yet I still felt dead inside. I had a suicide attempt in 2014 and that was the start of my spiritual journey.

Fast forward to now, I’ve lost 100lbs, which I’m extremely proud of, but I’m still not 100%. I’m struggling with chronic pain and I tried dayum near everthing…except fitness. I think exercise MAY be my true awakening. I’m at my breaking point.

Anyway, I’m sooo happy to have found your channel.

Also I know a few of your friends. Those photos gave me such a deep sense of nostalgia. Thank you sooo much! God bless you.

Edit: Of course I have to subcribe.

What do you have available for beginners women’s fitness? I don’t need to lose anymore fat. I actually feel I lost too much. My goal is to not just strengthen/tone, but drastically increase my flexibility. Right now I’m only able to work out at home. The chronic pain condition has debilitated me significantly, but I’m now motivated to try the fitness route. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

  • Been on Keto for about 4 months now give or take. Been avoiding carbs and sugars. Been eating leafy greens. Been eating a moderate amount of meat. Been drowning my food in lard/olive oil/butter. Haven’t been getting many results. Not sure what i’m doing wrong. I don’t snack or anything so it’s not like my bodies wasting too much time digesting to keep from burning fat.

  • You have diabetes 1 and you had 2 I had no clue you could even have both as a type 1 diabetic myself the amount of medication would be a lot.

  • Thanks for the encouragement, I used to be on keto then I fell off the boat 2018. Then at the midway though 2019, I got back in because I was gaining weight again. Overall I lost 47 pounds. 268lbs down from 315lbs.

  • I do have one question here, you said you were over 360? But your so smooth looking?! How did you lose over a hundred pounds and not get super saggy? Thanks

  • This man made a video about why you shouldn’t follow David Goggins… and then came out with this??? He must have lost his mind when he lost his hair. Poor soul… So many women follow him. Why spit in their face for no reason? This goes to show that health and wealth is not everything. Your spiritual health and wellness is number one.

  • Most youtubers: How I lost weight:
Me: Oh cool, I need this!
Youtuber: So with my personal trainer…
Me: Oh okay… I’ll see my minimum wage self out then

I get it’s her story, and I’m super happy for her. I just always forget about the massive lifestyle difference when I start watching these. Glad to see it’s inspired others though

  • Wow this video changed my whole perspective when it came to food and health! I watched this when it was posted, and it had an incredible effect on me! No lie, this was the first video I had EVER seen that had made eating well/losing weight not seem like a massive, unhappy, painful slog! I have a condition that effects my joints, and needed to shed excess weight before I damaged them even further. Finally finding something that said ‘you can still enjoy food, lose weight, feel better, AND don’t have to kill yourself at the gym’ was my moment of realizing that I could actually do it!
I wish my body could handle Keto in the long-term, but it started me off on an incredible foot, and over a year later I’m down 100lbs, a healthy bmi, and with my daily joint pain more than halved!
I can’t thank you enough for sharing this video. I don’t know where I’d be without it!

  • I feel like I need to talk to you on the phone so that I can get some real time, personal advice/ motivation! Real talk.. I’m tired bro. But, I feel like I don’t have a breaking point

  • Hey Lockstin. I’ve decided to start on my own Keto Diet Journey. On February 25th, 2020 I am currently 263 Pounds. I’m 6 feet tall and hoping to decrease it. Thanks to your information, I’m going to start tomorrow (it’s late right now).

I thank you for your information and all that you do.

  • I never thought I was capable of spending almost an hour on just one video. This video is so much fun and inspiring, I love it. The end where she and Steve looked so happy with the results made me happy too. Seeing someone getting a result after making a tremendous effort is so nice

  • Thank you this video helped me get on the right track I’m 14 now but around 6 months ago I was at my biggest ever I was 13 5’4 and 155 pounds I found this video around 4 months ago and started to change my diet for the better the first couple weeks were hard and my sugar cravings at an all time high but eventually I saw progress I’m now at 5’8 and 131 pounds and continuing to drop weight it’s a bit slower due to me reaching a normal BMI also me still growing but I feel better now a days thank you for helping me change

  • “Use your pain to get you to your breaking point.” DOPE!!! This was a good one. I feel like you expressed another level of yourself with us and that’s not just cause you mooned us lol. Really liking this series.
