  • The struggle with depression and anxiety that you don’t know you have for years is so relatable. It makes everything incredibly difficult. Mine manifested differently, but it was a similar thing you can’t fix only the symptoms. The source has to be dealt with at the same time. She seems like such a lovely person, and I can relate to her mindset and how her mindset changed so much. Definitely one of my favorite interviews you’ve done!

  • I haven’t finished watching but I’m glad to see a woman and someone in the progress of their journey. This is amazing. Congrats to her and I hope you have her back on for updates. She’s a beautiful girl.

  • I struggled to lose weight for a long time, joined the gym in March, however it wasn’t until I started religiously counting calories that I really started to loose! 2 stone down( 28 pounds) from 17 St 12 (250) pounds to 15 St 12 ( 222). I’m hoping to get into (one)derland 14 St 2 pounds by late September when I go back to uni!

  • Surgery is just the beginning, it’s very hard work. So many adjustments. Best thing I’ve ever done, a daily struggle however. So proud of her, will subscribe to her channel.

  • Bro i didn’t even recognize you until i saw your name obesetobeast crazy bro been a long time still fat here trying to lose weight

  • On the opposite end of this I’m struggling to gain weight. I’m 4’11 20 years old and I weigh 91 pounds. My heaviest weight was 105. Any ideas on how to gain weight and still be healthy?

  • Hi Annie! This is Mia from Teddy Blake Designer bags. We would love to collaborate. Let’s connect! Please DM us on Instagram @teddy_blake. Hope to hear back!

  • She’s really inspiring:)
When people have weight loss surgery, are they literally on 800 calories forever?? How can that be healthy long term? That’s the amount I ate when I was anorexic. I don’t mean to say weight loss surgery is a bad thing, and it can be the answer for a lot of people but it’s just something I’ve always wondered.

  • I’m about 340 pounds and have a large fibroid in my uterus. My weight and unhealthy eating does contribute and I am at an impasse. I need to eat better and possibly have surgery but my food addiction is so strong. Hearing her story does help and I have subscribed to her channel to keep being inspired. Thank you for sharing this video.

  • Honestly, you shouldn’t be afraid to make these talks longer, in fact 2-3-4 times longer easily. This is podcast format and people are totally ready to listen to long format! Please do more of these:)

  • Love this!! So proud of you! I feel inspired! I am at the beginning of my journey! About 52 pounds down! I can’t wait to see more content from you!

  • Nice!!! I been on a “life style change “ for about 7 weeks I have lost 60lbs so far I started at 537 but I think I should have lost more by now but I’m stuck at a plateau to soon

  • Thanks for this!
I think her story touches a very critical point that not a lot of fitness professionals discuss and that is the effect of psychological disorders. I think one of the biggest factors for success for her was reaching out to a psychologist and work on her underlying depression! Similarly Charlie Gold or other weight loss channels more often than have therapists. Amberlynn Reid (supposedly) is bipolar. Bodybuilders often have food anxieties and struggle with binge eating. Resolving these issues is just not something you can do on your own and personal trainers or a coaches are not trained to treat them either. I wish this was discussed more often! Just saying that if someone is so morbidly obese they should seek out psychological help in addition to seeking out help for their physical health.

  • This woman is amazing! So mindful of her journey and what a solid reflection. When she said, I didn’t know I was depressed because I didn’t know what depression was. That was powerful and profound. That statement shifted my perspective. Thank you so much for this!

  • This girl is so relatable. Most folks don’t understand how many calories they are really consuming. My son finally tracked his daily consumption and was shocked that he was eating 5000 calories a day. It shocked him so much he made big changes and is down 85 pounds. This girl is adorable. I wish her all the best!

  • She’s definitely one of my favorite guests on the show she’s so thorough with her explanations and it’s very relatable her talking about how caring for mental health away from weight loss is a huge factor. I hope she continues in this amazing journey

  • Well you are just magic, aren’t you? All of your videos are super inspiring. I think this life coach business that you’re starting is going to be booming. You can really make a difference in the world and that is a beautiful thing <3 even just replying to a comment on Instagram telling me I can achieve the things you achieved (as you did today) can plant that little seed you were talking about <3 thank you for this video.

  • I ❤️ her story. She’s got a lot of self-awareness and I wish her the very best as she continues to move towards a healthier and positive version of herself.

  • Morbid obesity is also lack of political consciousness. How can you even touch processed food when you know it is manufactured by the ruling class to kill poor people right when they reach retirement age, selling them expensive drugs along the way.

  • Wow, I always thought that people were exaggerating when they said they ate 10.000 calories on a day. That’s so much. For her to stop doing that and lose weight, that’s difficult. I have a lot of respect for her changing her life and her being so open in this interview.

  • She is so strong and motivational! Three years I was at a healthy weight of 165 (i’m 5’8) And now I’m at 220 lbs, I’ve lost around 25 pounds but is so hard:(

  • omg..the whole thing was incredibly powerful and the funeral conversation especially hit me hard. ALL THE RESPECT to this lady for bettering her health and saving her LIFE it’s so freakin inspiring to hear this story!!! sending all my love to her thank you so much for the great content!!!

  • Am I crazy, or didn’t he have Charlie Gold on the show before? I think that was before it was officially named “Heavy Talk” though.

  • You’re a huge inspiration to me. Just started my weight loss journey 3 weeks ago. Watching your videos helps a lot and keeps me motivated. I just started a channel myself hoping to loss weight and motivate people like you!

  • She is one of my favorite so far. She touched on the most important parts of her journey and was an open book with sharing her struggles. Wishing her all the best in her journey. It warms my heart to see the life and excitement for improvement that she has.

  • Thanks for the great interview!! once again if you want to hook up and do an interview with me that would be amazing! So I can share my story! Starting weight 450 lbs 2 years ago. Had VSG on March 20, 2018. I have lost 230 lbs up to now! Let me know if you would like to do an interview as well! Hugs from Canada!

  • The heaviest I ever got was 260 and I know I definitely felt like a mess.. like my entire life was spiraling out of control and I couldn’t do anything about it and even though I knew I wanted to be better I’d go and binge on more food and realized I only had happiness in food.. but everything else was just so not me. Not feeling like myself, not being happy how I looked or how I felt, low confidence, depression, etc. But man thank God I just began moving forward, if I didn’t I know I could’ve been like 400+ by now.

  • Brother Evan very inspiring video! We all go through tough times some worse than the other and it’s how we face it that makes us a champion. You are clearly a champion for going what you go through in your personal life and your personal weight loss. God bless and just subbed

  • I remember my weight loss started very similar to yours. I was very upset with myself and was watching some of these videos and was like, why not try? Glad I did it, and huge props, man! 140lbs is some incredible commitment.

  • Thanks for the video. How long did it take before you started seeing results from your efforts? When was the first time you ‘rewarded’ yourself with food again? Or did your mindset change through the process? What did you reward yourself with? Sorry so many questions. I’ve decided to commit to myself too and remember my why, resist my short-term want for my long-term goal.

  • Great story but man I have lost 60 in 7 weeks from completely changing my eating habits and working out so when people get surgery I feel it’s the easy way out maybe I’m wrong but it’s my opinion..We didn’t take a magic pill to gain the weight so we should not to lose it either

  • Thank you for sharing your journey! I just began my own journey after watching Obese to Beast and several other YouTube channels and doing some research. Seeing others achieve success is very inspiring and motivating! Looking forward to achieving success as you have!

  • Coming from a pretty heavy guy, this was a really cool video to watch. I’ve seen videos of people going through body transformations and such, but it doesn’t hit quite as close to home as seeing someone I went to high school with actually pull off something I’ve always wanted to do. Great job man, and I think I’ll definitely be taking this video to heart, and try and better myself.

  • Thank you so much for taking this journey with me! My next show is in April 2021. Follow me on Instagram @LaTishaStylesTV to continue watching the journey!

  • Where’d you get the lights on your headboard? So cute! Back to the important stuff. I’ve been in a post menopause funk. Gained 25 pounds and until now I was comfortable feeling gross. Today is the day. I started my eating plan yesterday. You’re motivating me.

  • Good video, keep up the great work! We’ve been on Slimming World for 2 months now because we’re trying to lose 100lb. We’re trying to branch out and try new things for fat loss. Any advice? we’ve lost over 20lb this month.

  • Dave Howlette is an AMAZING man, teacher, father, colleague, and friend. He has always been a motivator and supporter to the people in his life, myself included. I am so proud of you Dave! You rock!!!! Love ya buddy!

  • Im a bit sad navi won,i supported navi and chantted for navi cuz there was dendi on that team but right now im so confused which that i should chant for it? THE LEGEND? OR THE LEGENDARY TEAM?

  • This is feel like GTA:SA

Dendi come to navi and meet puppey and being a good homie

    Puppey leave navi

And then dendi and puppey fight with old HOMIE

  • Annie you really are gorgous from head to toe…literally!..and speaking of toe, I haven’t seen a new foot care video in a long while. I miss your lovely extremities very much but I;m sure you;re not neglecting them! Could you please make a video dedicated to them, showing your perfect ultra senusal soles in close-up as they get even softer and sexier than they already are?

  • I’ve always wondered if I choose to become a bit underweight, will I still manifest it? I mean I’ve always been underweight my whole life but gained due to my disorder, I have a petite body shape so will the universe be like: no that’s negative?

  • Non-perfect body. Your happiness is perfect which makes you a beautiful and attractive human. Now that is a perfect person I would like to know and be around.

  • I’ve gained 20 pounds over a year. It kinda snuck up on me. I didn’t realize how big I was getting until I really looked in the mirror one day. I’m pretty active, but the food I eat is garbage. It’s definitely hard to switch my lifestyle. I’ll figure it out one day lol.

  • Awesome story.  Congratulations.  The doctors at Rochester Regional Bariatrics are wonderful! They truly change lives!  Congratulations on managing your diabetes. That will add many years to your life.

  • Just started losing weight, technically I’ve been doing it for a few months haha, but this time something clicked. I decided to take my health for serious because I am 195 for a 5’3 girl.
My goal is to be down 15-20 pounds down from here till summer, wish my luck
(I’ll try to update around July-August)

  • I have to say I believe the most poignant thing you said here is to “Focus on HOW you want to FEEL”. That is THE main point here for the magic sauce for serious change. Even people that talk about manifesting money say to focus on how you want to feel and it filters down to feeling Free or Freedom or happiness regardless of what is going on. Which is basically freedom. Much light and love to all

  • What a beautiful video! I’ve never met you but watching your videos is like having a wise, supportive friend. Thank you so much! <3

Also, I love your hair! Would you consider doing a video about your hair care/styling routine?

  • omg this helped me so much! Thank you. It even helped me with my money issues, I always thought “when I earn 10.000 per month, than I will be happy” but the truth is, I have to be happy now and enjoy the journey and work on my belief system that I am worth earning that much money. YEAH!!! Thank you so much <3

  • This video is everything! I will be 40 yrs old in 11 days and still struggling with body image. Yo Yo dieting has been the story of my life since I was 12. Listening to you talk made me emotional and I appreciate every word! You have planted the seed. THANK YOU!

  • yess i think the mind set is really important i lost 12lbs after i care about me and love myself ❣ eat clean is the second part i would say

  • Smokin hot transformation dropped some powerful insights… I totally do intuitive eating, I think its the best way to go if you want to feel good, thanks for sharing Annie, awesome stuff, peace!!✌

  • One way I lost that much weight was to get off paxil. I gained so much weight and lost much of my personality when I was on it. Now I better manage my anxiety as it comes, but I’ve been super interested in the CBD you use. Haven’t bought it, but not for lack of wanting lol thanks for sharing your story.

  • It’s great that you got healthy and you’re losing weight. But I’ve said this once and I’ll say it again and it’s a fact. If you had surgery the weight loss doesn’t count. I lost more weight in 6 months than any human ever has without surgery without drugs without low calorie diets.

  • I have the exact same amount of weight I’ve gained as you did! Hellpppp ♥️ also I’d love to follow you on Instagram what’s you @name?

  • Who else was waiting for her to say “I’m not happy because I lost weight. I lost weight because I’m happy.”? Lol Another great video Annie…thank you!

  • It’s true. Loving yourself first is the magic key. If you come from a place of hating yourself and not from a place of loving yourself, a pound will not budge. Grinding in the gym for no pain, no gain does not work. The sustainable change comes from within. And not from fear. A large part of weight issues are stemming from emotional, mental, spiritual ones. You have to address the deeper issues. And create a lifestyle to love yourself in a healthy manner. Annie, great vid!♥️

  • Annie, you are a pure inspiration to me!
I don’t know how you do it, but I’ve never felt jealous or negative after watching your videos. Just inspired and full of joyful energy!
PS. if anyone wants to try, I had stubborn 4 kilos (8lbs?) that seemed to always come back after losing. Then I went vegan, and over the next 2 years I lost all the excess weight without dieting. It happened so gradually I didn’t even notice. Btw that’s 5 years ago now!

  • When I started my weightloss journey 2 years ago, I HATED myself, I was so depressed and I was the heaviest I’ve ever been.
After I started eating healthy and working out twice a day, my mood started to change and I actually saw results. 2 years later I’m 70lbs less, healthy as can be, and I no longer have depression! I continue living this lifestyle for my overall health because this is what makes me happy.

My life isn’t the absolute best, but I still stay positive every single day and look forward to seeing another day. I’m beyond happy I’m not the same person I was 2 years ago.
You are great and so inspiring!!!

  • Just applied for your coaching and I’m here manifesting that I get accepted haha ❤️ also I’m so proud of you for keeping this weight off and feeling amazing about yourself. That’s so inspiring that you went at it from a “get healthy on the inside first” approach!

  • Hi Annie, I’ve been going through some MAJOR life changes moving, job change while in school, and a new puppy and have been experiencing all the emotional craziness that goes along with it! I’ve found that binge-watching a video or two of yours when I need a pick-me-up is INCREDIBLE for my mood. Your energy feels like I’m having coffee with an optimistic, honest friend who loves her life. Just what I need when I’m feeling overwhelmed!

  • The tests we face in life’s journey are not to reveal our weaknesses but to help us discover our inner strengths. We can only know how strong we are when we strive and thrive beyond the challenges we face.

  • Hello! this update of yours really got me. I really love how accurate it was and how encouraging you are, the way you talk shows your personality keep it up! I’m a new subscriber your so beautiful by the way

  • Hi Annie! I dont have instagram so I can’t see the details for the lifecoaching but I’d be interested:) may I know how much it is for these 6 weeks? I’m a university student, I’ve been healthy since what it seems like 4 ever and never was capable of losing weight.. In my case it truly is emotional. I’d need someone like you to guide me talk soon x

  • I prefer this type of content to the life coaching stuff. I liked the more random videos you posted as part of your variety channel. Thanks for posting.:-)

  • Woohoo well done dear! Good luck with the coaching program. I love your journey to reaching your ideal weight. I agree with the fact that it’s more emotional than physical… it’s the same for me

  • So true! The same happened to me. I just started being more mindful and exercised SELF CARE! Through paying attention to my body I ended up dropping 17kg over 3 years. Most of it happening in the later years as it took me awhile to figure out myself. Now I can keep it off effortlessly.:)

  • I love your whole channel so so much. What you said is so true! Once I started taking care of myself and my happiness I finally started getting healthier in all ways

  • I work out everyday and I find people around me don’t understand what it is like to be like me. I live in constant pain…chronic back pain and they have absolutly no clue what hell I go through. I have certain family members that will say mean comments about me and just make me feel like crap but now I am getting use to ignoring their awful comments. Sometimes I want to turn the tables on them and say live a day in my life and maybe you won’t judge me. I am so careful about what I eat, so if I eat out with certain family members they will watch me like a hawck and make rude comments but little do they know how very careful I am and maybe I am allowed to have one cheat meal a month. Please tell me if I should have conversations with certain family members how to respect me and not be so judgemental.

  • You need to try Fascia Blasting for your ‘ so called Cellulite.” It’s just your Connective Tissue that needs attention. Look Up “ASHLEY BLACK’ on You Tube. It’s life changing for your Fascia/ Connective Tissue.. It’s a wonderful self-care routine!

  • Even if you have the “perfect” body people will judge you and assume that you must be starving yourself, that you had plastic surgery or that you are probably a b*tch because you can’t look hot and be nice! People who feel good with themselves support others and don’t put them down. Girl you look good and happy! I wish I had more time to work out but it’s hard with a job and a baby! Have a nice day

  • Annie… Thank you so much!!! I have been going through a lot right now and have been blaming myself not going out for a jogging because I am just so depressed with personal events happening to my life. All of the things you’ve just said just left me so speechless. Like all of those things you said are ALL right!!! Love you!!! Thanks so much!!!

  • I made soooo many weight loss attempts that i forgot the count, but nothing helped. I kept of gaining more weight. After a while i just… accepted that I’m not going to be a 50kg person ever.
This video helped a lot. Thanks. I’m going to give it another go.

  • I really needed to hear this today thank you so much for sharing your story! This has helped me so much with my body image. I greatly appreciate you and what you do! I have been seriously depressed lately and this has motivated me to get help and start working on loving myself and stop trying crazy diets. Thank you so much!

  • Hi, Annie. Just had another question. Do you need any background in psychology or coaching before entering the Hungry for Happiness program? Thanks! Love your videos ✌️

  • I love you so much. Your videos truly motivate me to move forward in my life and get my shit together lol. Thank you for pushing me to change. Love you annie! <3

  • I used to weight 225 lbs. I was eating too much aka binge eating and in schools, they don’t offer healthy foods. But in 2017, I started working out and I started to build my progress. Today I currently weight 185 lbs. Without the gym, I would gain weight
