This Fast-Food Addict Discovered Mindful Eating and Lost 65 Pounds.

Posted on my goal was lofty, I wanted to lose 40 pounds and honestly, I really wanted to lose it tomorrow. I knew it wasn’t possible, but it’s human nature to want quick results. For most people, the biggest barrier to a healthy weight and lifestyle is eating habits.

How one woman used intermittent fasting to lose 65 pounds in six months In January, Janielle Wright went to bed afraid that she wouldn’t wake up. Today, she is more than half way to meeting her. I had lost hope and had pretty much given up.

One day, by chance, an FA member entered my life and told me her story. It sounded like mine. She was a food addict, but she had found a solution and it was free. So I decided to try it one day at a time.

The cravings disappeared, I lost 45 pounds, and I have maintained my weight for 11 years. Mindful Eating May 17, 2013. The Mindful Cure for Food Addiction. rather than face these fears head-on, I’d hit up three different drive-thrus, eat my weight in greasy sandwiches, hate myself for a few hours, go to bed, wake up, hit the gym, and let the cycle begin again. I was definitely an addict. And so the gift of being mindful.

Or if we sometimes restrained our eating while on a diet, it never lasted very long. We heard people express feelings of low self-esteem, fear, doubt, insecurity, shame, guilt, and hopelessness around their relationship with food. A 6-week group seminar on mindful eating among people with obesity resulted in an average weight loss of 9 pounds (4 kg) during the seminar and the 12-week follow-up period. This was the first time I decided to lose some weight, and I was successful. After about seven months, I was at 215 pounds. However, I stayed at that weight for about two months and I started to slowly gain weight the weight back.

Going out, drinking, eating at all hours of the night and no excersice made my waistline expand fast. Introduction. • so does it matter or not because you said not to eat fast food?, it kinda defeats the purpose of the whole only calories matter thing

  • I wish the Dr see this comment.
I have osteoporosis, fibromyalgia arthritis. Very bad scoliosis.
I try to eat healthy eating kale cabbage. But I was listening a Dr on YouTube and he said all those greens are bad for osteoporosis. Is that true?

  • Can I know what you are saying when you are doing the hypnosis? I have been listening for three days now, and I am sleeping much better, I have lost 1lb, but I really want to know what is being fed into my unconscious mind.

  • Oh my god… he’s calling out mothers, like I do…

I fucking love doctor furhman.. the crazy thing is I didn’t start watching his videos til 1 week ago, but I already know and agree with all the things he is saying

  • I watched you on my phone and thought you looked gorgeous, now i’m watching you on my laptop screen and you are BEAUTIFUL!
Love how clear and high yield the information is in your videos.

  • I’m feeling positive and seeing some changes in my attitude, so I thank you. The thing I worry about is “burn in” on my tv (where I “watch” you) Can you change the picture more often than just the candle burning????

  • Thank you ❤️ Helpful information, and your personality is wonderful many YouTube videos are hard to watch because of the fakeness. I so appreciate you being you and sharing your experiences.

  • question: Why do personal trainers tell you to eat very healtly food then? Like protein and stuff? I really wanna try this out but i dont wanna gain more weight then i already am, and i got a stiationary bike already.

  • Has anyone stayed awake long enough to actually hear his messages as I haven’t!! I would be interested to hear it!! I’ve been using this for a week and I’ve not snacked or wanted to snack at all!! This is a game changer!!

  • I eat way to much, when I’m not hungry I eat, when I’m hungry I eat a lot, when I’m slightly hungry I eat, when I’m thirst I eat, whenever i was bored i ate, every time it’s a highly sugary food, everytime I try to diet I can go for like 2 days then I eat like 1 highly sugared food and I completely give up. I went to a nutritionist not to long ago and I’m overweight so I’m going back in 2 months and I need to stop this addiction and since I’m not the one spending the money it doesn’t affect my own money but it’s a big problem in my life, I don’t eat out a lot but I snack to much. I’m gonna try to diet again, I’ve been watching so many videos and I have a slight idea of how to get rid of my food addiction and how to diet properly, safely, and actually see a difference, I know it’s a huge problem, I know when I over eat but I ignore it and I know I shouldn’t.

I’ll be back in 2 months to update how much weight I lost or gained and what I did wrong and what I did right

  • I can relate so much to what you said. And that you aren’t a professional is exactly the reason why what you say makes more sense to me. I‘m tired of all these slim experts giving me tips that never even had a weight problem their whole life.

  • Hello…i dont known anything about weight…but certainly its about deep healing
Something the emotional eating is due to helpless or conflicting thoughts…this divine music is certainly helping in surfacing those hidden thoughts..to face it for now and release it..

  • I would have like this video if only it is a nature sound like rain & thunder sound. The music starts off fine then irritates and wake me up at aound 2am so, I have to shut it off and go back to listening my monsoon rain (NO music) which put me to sleep everytime. Unfortunately, it doesnt have the lose weight subliminals but Im able to go back to sleep not irritable.

  • Ive been free of food addiction 2 years. April 20…2020 is 2 months of fasting 4x a week. So grateful!!!! Took me 20 years to get well. I work out 5x a week. A WHOLE NEW PERSON….I.JUST HAVE TO FEEL MY FEELINGS…

  • I love this. I’m a 4 year post op VSG patient with a 30 lb regain……this video…should be played on repeat for all of us. EVERYDAY. Saved to playlist.

  • Relistened to this talk. To call olive oil an appetite stimulant is to ignore the verified role of olive oil as an appetite supressant, as demonstrated by both research and practice over the years. How can I trust what this guy has to say?

  • How I know that I’m addicted to food? I have to survive with 20$ until next paycheck, I end up borrowing money because I spent mine buying food and binging, also I get very mad and irritated when I can’t eat what and when I want to eat, I get very frustrated. I eat until I can’t no more and believe me I try to keep eating but I just can’t and that’s when I stop, next morning I can feel sick to my stomach but I ain’t full so I finish what I left. My mom don’t want to believe I have an issue, she thinks I’m just lazy and full of excuses. However, Im trying to make a change finally.

  • Great info here. Does his book have an extensive references section in it? The academic in me wants to review the studies for some of the points he mentions.

  • My dearest friend has reached 425 1bs, I knew her when she 150, 5′ 9″. She told me just last week, I don’t want to be a mom, I can’t handle being a wife, I have tons of money from the government, and I live like a queen. Then she calls me, I am broken, I hate what I look like, I hate the way people see me. But, hand her a Pepsi, it’s gone. Eats all kinds of meats, pizza, everything that no one in their right mind would eat. When the Dr. said, being the best you can be after being committed to eating well, I thought of her. She doesn’t want to have expectations from others, she has it made as well as bone pain, kidney problems, diabetes, migraines, can hardly get herself to the bathroom. I guess it is all a choice. I sent her this link, she won’t care. People want to be unhealthy, success is too difficult to try; personal success is too much, being a good friend is half-ass with her. Where does this person go from here besides the grave?

  • Your channel is just fantastic!!!! I want to know what you eat as a part of your diet though, maybe you could make a video about that?

  • I’ve tried listening for two nights in a row and can’t get past 2 or 3 hours. However, I have noticed a change in my cravings. I don’t have the desire to constantly snack. So I guess I’ll keep trying to get through the full video.

  • Has this helped anyone? I did WL hypnosis with a local therapist a few years ago, and it worked. I was losing a lb a week it was greAt because I didn’t feel like I made any changes. My boyfriend noticed I was eating about half of what I used to eat. A few years out and I’m back to old habits and up 20lbs. I’m active and work out but I eat way too much. Need something to help with my over eating…. I eat pretty healthyI just eat way too much

  • Idk why but when i eat a candy like oreo etc i have fear of diabetes or something so i drink a lot of water after eat a unhealthy food

  • I’m obsessed with food. I anticipate every meal. I am going broke CONSTANTLY because of food. I eat when I’m bored or have emotions come up I dont wanna deal with. I’m for sure ADDICTED. Definitely, appreciate this video and hope I can overcome this and heal.

  • Adrian what are some good not so cardboard tasting greens that fill you up, also some good protein sources that are easy to buy and eat on the daily, any info helps me out a lot, you might recognize me from the comments in another one of your exercise vids.

  • Chips are my drug of choice! Sweet and salty is my mantra. However I am Moving by faith to take control of my life. Thank God my health hasn’t totally deteriorated. My stomach is out of control. Thank you for sharing this. This kind of transparency is needed. Loneliness and Isolation I believe was the start. Can’t wait to get more of your feedback. You look Amazing and your voice of your experience Powerful! Thank you! I now know where to start..

  • I eat about 500-900 calories a day. Theres two reasons for this. 1. I figured less calories faster weight loss. 2. Because I have a medical problem where everytime I eat I get really nauseous so I have a tendency to either not eat or eat very little. I’ve been trying to eat at least 1000 calories a day but because I get nauseous its really hard to force myself to eat while I’m nauseous. I’m gonna start doing this and the looking better exercise. I hope it works.

  • Thank you for making this video I am currently trying to get better but it is not easy. I struggle all the time. It helps to hear from others who went through the same.

  • What would he say about keto? I think I know. I am switching to nutritarian. I have been scared of beans. I see how ridiculous that is! Starting today. Getting book now.

  • I was living 4 months raw and kinda fell off of it the last month and it was so hard to get back on. This has helped so much. I am feeling major mind over matter. I listen every night. Thank u for this. I am trying to cure myself

  • I love these videos I know love to exercise and dance I don’t eat as much I only eat dinner and tea sometimes a snake but that’s it thx for this video and I cant wait to see the results. Night

  • Reading the title whist grabbing a Mars bar because my son is in hospital and eating helps my stress levels. I hope this helps me and others like me

  • I’ve been listening for 5 nights and only eat once a day. I’ve been compelled to walk every day and I ordered a work out machine. Thank you!

  • That’s the situation in north America, with American products, American people and American studies. I lived in France, in Portugal and Switzerland where I never saw that problematic behavior. So in my opinion I think this is lazy effort from her part to approve in a society and cultural bad habits.

  • Hey Adrian I’m trying to lose 10 pounds over quarantine and I’m doing the look betters for at least 25 minutes everyday while eating under 2000 calories each day, will this work? And how fast?

  • I dont have a problem with over eating, though I am over weight. I have a problem with instant gratification. I have no desire to cook anymore. I literally eat a fast food meal once a day. Maybe a bowl of cereal in the morning every so often. But I usually eat once a day because I don’t want to cook, so I wait til the very last minute where I’m very hungry, usually between 4 and 7p. And then I go get fast food. It’s been this way for almost 10 years. Idk how to break that habit when I just am too lazy to cook and just hate cooking for myself. I think I’m doomed.

  • Wish i had seen this a few months ago. Its really this simple lol. Started doing keto which we great but unrealistic for my lifestyle at this time. Still follow it closely but now just eat more whole foods an dont over think it. Ive lost 25 lbs since april

  • Okay, so my experience. Put this on for the first time last night. I dreamed about a childhood friend I haven’t seen or thought of in years. She was never very nice to me. In the dream, we are grown and she invites me to be in her wedding party. We are in some remote resort like the Catskills or something. Over the week, I get more and more marginalized (just like when we were little) until finally I’m out of the wedding. BUT, I’m not mad. My feelings aren’t hurt. I just make arrangements, and I leave! I don’t want to be there, I’m fine with it, and I leave! It felt so good. I never have positive dreams like that. And according to my little smart watch, I spent 2 1/2 hours in REM sleep. Also unheard of for me. Really interesting. I hope to heaven everything is cool with the messages here like they’re not telling us to invest heavily in cod liver oil, or wire money to Venezuela or something.

  • I used to take a taste of everything I would be making-lunch meat, whipped cream, cheese, etc. Since listening to this I have found myself thinking I don’t really want a taste and I put the food away. I am doing intermittent fasting and keto and I find I now go all day, upwards of 21 hours without eating and not being hungry. I never thought I was an emotional eater just compulsive possibly both I am thinking. I don’t seem to place food so high I my must have list. So far this seems to be working for me

  • Thank you for posting this to help us. I listened to the water one last night and wasn’t hungry for snacks all day. Wasn’t even hungry for dinner. It would be so amazing to be released from the prison of binge eating.

  • I am a recovering food addict and in this pandemic, along with some other issues, I have found myself eating emotionally. This tape has helped more than you know. I’ve told everyone I know. Of course since it’s subliminal you could be telling me to run through the streets naked, but since I haven’t done anything weird, and I am not turning to food for comfort, then I’m gonna stick with it. Now to find one like this to quit smoking.

  • But it’s also okay to eat fast food every once in a while! I feel like many people are either extreme because they eat too much junk food, or extreme because they eat absolutely no junk food. If you are healthy it’s okay to eat some junk food sometimes, as a little treat, if you want it. Treating yourself is important too, just make sure not to overdo it.

  • I had the strangest experience while listening to this. I woke up crying, after I had dreamed I was visited by 3 souls that have left this earth and my life. I was only 42 minutes in. A very surreal and emotional experience for sure… I switched to the rain one and hopefully that will be less emotional of an experience and I can get some real rest.

  • Adrian, I’ve been biking an average of 10 miles a day, eating 1200 calories a day (mostly low carb, lots of veggies) since July 1. I use the Lose It! app to track everything I eat. I also did Intermittent Fasting 16:8. I lost a few pounds the first week BUT I gained it all back as of today, July 26. I havent changed anything. What am i doing wrong? Why isn’t this working for me? I have 20 lbs to lose and I’m trying so hard.

  • It’s crazy how out of touch so many of us have become with our hunger response. I actually am not even sure I fully know what it feels like. My food addictions, even though I’m lean, are powerful especially for sugar and caffeine. I am hopeful I can continue making a change. I definitely feel great 12 days in to Fuhrman’s 10 in 20 plan. Food is so powerful.

  • I’ve always had a food addiction. I even suffered from bulimia because of it. When 2019 started I knew I had to stop hiding from it. I’ve lost 50 pounds since 2019. I’ve actually had to cut people off because a lot of people eat like this and it was my bigger trigger

  • Interesting, something in me was released. It took me to my mothers bedside, as she was crossing over. (The memory of it I mean) then tears began to stream down my face as I continued to listen. Thank u, I do believe this was a lovely release, perhaps this needed to happen❤

  • More than Morphine or cocaine did….Bulls**t!. Then you dont know what Morphine or cocaine feels. Its nothing like that. Dont feed that pseudo bs. Try to ask homeles who uses heroin are some junk food better than the heroin(“morphine”) and they would say gtfo here. this is what happens when you think its so Right When its only theorical and not real trying.
Getting fat is your own choice and if you take Antipsychotics poisons etc which destroy your Metabolism LOOK THE INFO FIRST! theres no magic pill which dont cause addiction… those are toxins. Use real medicine like marijuana or Opioids for pain NEVER THOSE bs Antidepressant ssri, snri suicide homicide and massacres inducing neuro poison.

Ps i got some pseudoscience bracelet commercial on this video(surpise) where some woman tells Horrible things what happened herself Which if its a lie shes a so terrible person.

  • I like this video but isn’t it dangerous and unhealthy to only consume only 600-800 calories a day. Even weight loss programs don’t offer that low of an option for a goal. Not trolling or being mean just inquisitive about it.

  • Worst night sleep EVER. All night I kept waking up to your voice. I actually got so over tired I felt aggressive and angry as hell.

    Not the go for me.

  • Oh my goodness! Thankyou so much for this information. I have been on a transition to a plant based diet for over a year and was hanging onto some unhealthy habits ( oil, vegan meat substitutes) which now I clearly understand the need to eliminate. Thanks for making it so clear

  • Sometimes when we think we’re hungry we’re actually thirsty. Sometimes when I think I’m hungry l drink a large glass of water then my “hunger” goes away.
Also if I go out to eat l only eat half my meal and take the rest home and eat it later instead of trying to eat the whole thing in one sitting

  • I had an idea already about calories but this has solidified some stuff for me. I’ll update in 2 weeks to see if everything I’ve learned so far is working!

  • Is it common to have sensory hallucinations when completing this? I kept “smelling” coffee throughout the night. Also, felt my hair being pulled back and saw something out my window-all while my eyes were open and me feeling “awake”.

  • Is this stuff actually true, I really want to lose weight I’m 16 6’1 and 240 pounds I started about about a week ago and cut pop and junk food, I’m walking 3 miles a day and doing some of your exercises. I get scared when I eat something thinking I might gain weight and all this was for no reason. Please tell me on what I should do, thank you

  • I have PCOS & addicted to food… I lost 50lbs 5 years ago so the PCOS didn’t have any affect on losing weight. But today, I don’t know what to do or where to start.

  • Its honestly so hard when u have a family that you take care of daily. Ugh. I know a million percent i could go without food in my house mostly if i didnt have to feed others. Its crazy to say out loud, but its just the truth. I gotta take control, cause my health is bad right now. There is no option left. Its a done deal. Thanks again❤

  • Only listened to the first 3hours or so last night. Today was the first day I didn’t crave any snacks. I usually line up healthy snacks (6 or 7 different fruits) to get me through the day especially working 8 hours in front of a PC. I didn’t have cravings or feel hungry in between meals. The snacks remained untouched and forgotten. Might be a coincidence but I’m doing it again tonight.

  • Watching this because I’m pregnant and have a glucose test in the morning so I can’t eat for hours…I’m starving Hope this works for all of us here.

  • I am watching this video after my therapy session where my therapist told me that I have a food addiction. I have never resonated more with what someone is saying before watching this video. I also thought food addiction=I just really love food. I have been woke. I have a legitimate food addiction.

  • Great channel keep it on! simple videos to follow and understand. It works! And I’m a type 1 diabetic so it takes maybe a bit longer, but 10 pounds in 2 weeks are realistic for me. Regards from Germany

  • I have this issue. I used to be addicted to candy. Everyday I ate candy sometimes 2 bags. I overcame that problem but now I have an issue with losing weight bc I like to eat. I do think of meals in advance and I like to cook. It’s very hard for me and it is mental. Diet pills or methods dont work since I eat bc I enjoy cooking, eating etc. I need some help. Thanks for the tips

  • I’ve been working out and eating less than 2000 calories for about a week now and no results. Does it take longer than a week? I’ll update after 2

  • (Me in the future losing a lot of weight)

Doctor: Nice dude I see you had been working out and been eating healthly!

Me: Well you see thats where u messed up buddy

  • Can this help with burning face fat as well?Is why i mostly want to lose weight. And i also eat only healthy things even if i believe in this method,so it should work right?

  • I have an eating disorder (primarily restriction and feeling like absolute shit if I feel like I’ve overeaten, but I don’t clinically binge) and this is my worst fear: becoming so powerless over food that I eventually become obese.

  • Weight:147.5
    Height: 4’10 or 4’11
    Goal:95 or 100 pounds
    Starting day: July 14,2020
    Plan:eat whatever you want
Workouts: 1000 calorie workout and then low impact workouts

  • My mom says it’s better for food leftovers to go to “waste” than to “waist”. It’s true!

I’m 18 and need to lose about 90 more pounds. I’ve lost 20 already. I deal with so so so much shame because I don’t often seen people my age struggling with such a high weight. A lot of people I follow are older than me when they deal with this. I feel pretty alone and bizarre. I see a nutritionist and I get conflicting advice all the time. People who have naturally lost 100 pounds might suggest keto, one might suggest just calorie counting, one might say to go vegan. I never know who to believe. It seems like so many people try to promote their way to make money. I want to do what’s right but there are so many ways.

Right now I’m eating 1400 calories. It seems like a lot but my nutritionist says it’s low!

I’m learning to forgive myself. This is a real addiction. I missed out on having that great and tight teen body but at least I’m doing something about it, right?

This video gives me hope. Although I don’t think I will do a liquid diet, there are some things I can work on like eating less candy. Sugar is my biggest problem of all time.

    Thanks for the great video.

  • I’m definitely dealing with food addiction. I eat till I’m sick most of the time and I am always anticipating the next meal. Sugar is massive for me as well. Fasting helps though

  • I’ll admit I was really skeptical at first, but I tried it anyway. This video is doing some incredible things for me. I am sleeping the entire night through. This hasn’t happened for me in years. It used to take a long time for me to go to sleep, now I sack out in like the first five minutes of this video. For me, this might be more of a sleep aid, with a “stop eating” bonus. I used to wake up in the night and think that a full stomach would get me back to sleep (which is really bad for you). Even when I wake up in the morning, I am not desperate for breakfast. I am completely amazed that this is working for me! Thank you tremendously!

  • Dr. Fuhrman is the MAN!! I love how he gets annoyed at his own jokes Thank you so much for posting this!!!

  • I love your videos and how you explain stuff i was wondering is there such thing as “starving mode”. Like what if you ate 1200calories for too long. And you have to switch it up and eat more to actually loose weight. Is it true?

  • Wow. I did wake up well rested. granted I also woke up hungry lol. And had a weird dream, but that’s nothing new. But I’ll keep at it and see if it helps more and more. Thanks

  • Great info! Love your videos this one is for me as I don’t like to exercise other than what I get at work and walking sometimes and I can eat what I want❤️

  • My mom and I both are addicted to food. I want so badly to become healthier. I hate myself because It’s like I just can’t control myself when I eat. I think of the best ideas to try to overcome it, but when the time comes my brain pushes it all to the side and I just feel like complete crap afterwards. I’ve been telling my mom for months that I want to be healthier, but she always makes excuses to not to do it. So all my temptations are always right there for me. I’ve gained almost 50 lbs during quarantine and I’m just spiraling into a world of depression but the only thing there for me is food.

  • I started this on monday it is now thursday and I have lost 5lb, I’ve been listening to the shorter version in the day time too, todays date 13th August 2020

    Start date: 10th August 10st 9lb
    Update: 16th Aug 10st 3lb
    Update: the 16th

  • Around 9 minutes in you said that high carbohydrate foods made people feel hunger sooner and more extremely than the high fat group. I… Have the opposite problem. I’m trying to go low carb/keto (not sure if I’ll reach keto cause fruit is just too good to give up) but I find if I eat a high fat or high protein meal, like chicken or hotdogs (unhealthy, I don’t have them anymore very often but it still happens with them, without buns obviously) or even egg based dishes I’ll get intensely hungry after only half an hour, or less, and that hunger doesn’t go away unless I eat something high carb. That is just, completely opposite. Do you know why that might be? Is it just because my body is used to high carb? Or is there some actual reason? Cause it makes it real hard to eat right when the right foods leave you hungry and dizzy as shit:/.

  • i love this guy….thank you for breaking this down in a normal way, so many weight loss guides are like “YOU MUST NOT EAT ANYTHING AND EXERCISE 8 HOURS A DAY”, which completely ruins your motivation and you end up doing nothing. with this guys help i can at least start to slowly go in the right direction, thanks Adrian

  • I have been following this and others similar for a year and very little weight loss. I think they are wrong about calories. I saw all the videos that a calorie is not the same for bread vs. carrots, I get it. But that doesn’t seem to work for anyone I know or myself. He said you don’t completely digest beans and half the calories go in the toilet. I just cannot believe that. When I eat until “almost” full and stop and then compare to the restriction of calories, the restriction works for weight loss, and that is for my friends doing the same as me. I think we have proven him wrong on that. So, I think he is totally wrong about calories.

  • My first night…I’m praying this helps me and my unhealthy relationship with food. I need one for smoking too. Quarantine has me messed up.

  • I clearly needed re-educating on nutrition and this talk has made it a no-brainer. Interesting how we do follow the crowd and look where it’s taking us. I can’t believe %90 + of the produce they sell in supermarkets isn’t even real food. This is the wake-up call we all need.

  • I always think I eat less than 2000 and wonder why I dont lose weight. Im measuring everything so I dont make any mistakes. I just need to lose 15 pounds. I can do it!

  • I’m so gonna stick to the eat less than 2000 calories plan. And also thanks for letting me know about what cheat day actually is..
    ❤️❤️❤️❤️

  • Sugar and refined carbohydrates are NOT the same. About half of sugar is fructose. And fructose is processed by the body completely differently from glucose. There is also a significant hedonic difference between these two foods (sugar is much more palatable than complex carbs).

  • Restrictive diets aren’t good either though. Majority of Americans are still overweight or obese. When you stay you can’t have a food item you are saying something is “off limits”. Is it also proven restricting yourself can trigger binge eating as well. This video is missing a lot and mainly highly dopamine response but someone like Amber or anyone saying things are off limits isn’t healthy either. It has been proven.

  • Thank you so much Adrian…I am definitely on the right path…I will post results!I really appreciate your help.God bless you

  • I look forward to trying this tonight! I have been going back and forward constantly this year with weight, losing a little and then gaining it back through emotional eating and then feeling rubbish about myself which in turn causes even more junk eating. It feels good to know that I’m not the only one going through this and I hope we can all get past this point in our lives and onto health new beginnings!

  • I’ve been listening for about 2 weeks. I am able to fall asleep and if I wake up, fall back asleep easily. Plus I have lost 7 lbs. so far. I don’t find myself looking in the fridge or pantry for no reason. So I feel my impulse eating has decreased. I will continue on this path and keep you posted. Thank you Blue Sky.

  • I have been a personal trainer and a fitness coach for a while now. But I just can’t believe how many new things have I just learned watching this very well-made video. Respect, truly.

  • School promoting Halloween and make all the kids obese. Instead of educating the kids they doing the opposite. It is hard for parents to do anything while school and government promoting Halloween( candies). They are not promoting Halloween but candies. It is so sad and parents are helpless.

  • Is it just music that plays in the background as you sleep? As I’ve woke up twice during playing it and it’s just music, I thought there would be someone talking as we sleep. And so you need to listen to the whole thing as I only sleep about 5 hours?

  • im a normal weight but almost overweight and i want to lose 20 pounds because im a dancer and theyre always really skinny not average and i have a super big appetite and have been gaining weight so i hope this works:)

  • im frustrated with my personal life and find food to be comforting until i cannot fit into my clothes:( hope that will help to cut that vicious circle.

  • He should just stick to health advice and stay out of politics. He just had to put in his two worthless cents about the president. What a small petty person.

  • Is not the food, is what they putting in the food, in my country I was able to eat almost everything & still was able to lose weight,in other countries the food is more healthier,in the USA the food is not natural,so don’t blame the food, blame the people that are putting unhealthy things in it!!!

  • If anyone is interest we could make a WhatsApp group and follow our own program…like setting weekly goals and checking on eachother. Also text if we feel like loosing control, is enough for 1 person to answer and be there for us. It would help me for sure. Like and comment if you agree.

  • I notice that when I listen to this I feel sick to my stomach for day or two and have no appetite. Is this normal? I am not complaining; but curious as to what subliminal messages I am absorbing.

  • wait even if i laid in bed all day i’d still lose 2k calories? not implying that i would actually do that im just asking in general

  • really great insight and tips. Your professionalism and objectivity in approaching this subject are very refreshing. keep up the excellent work!

  • Well if it so bad Start Heroin and you will loose The Overweight like that! There some real Science not this theorical Pseudo bias. SHES NOT VICTIM AT ALL! Ricky Gervais said it best!
Edit! I know you were um.. fat because you talked without tough love and i can see it on your skin. Unfortunatly not everything can be recovered once you Choose to not care for your body and let it go. I would rather be ex heroin iv user than ex obese.

  • Been using it for nearly 2 weeks, I’ve experienced absolutely no eating changes, I might be sleeping deeper but not sure, as far as weightloss and exercise its had no effect.

  • Fuhrman is a fruit phobic person. Fruits are the highest foods in antioxidants, and without them, all the diseases overruniing the world-parkinson’s, ms, als-lou gehrigs disease, cancers, infections and viruses, and many more, are possible. Eat lots of fruits, leafy greens, and 10% or less fat (no oils), seeds mostly rather than nuts.

  • What’s cool about this, even though it may seem hard if you’re used to the American diet, is that it’s actually easier. You just have to get educated and motivated and then try it for awhile. Learn how to make delicious foods salads with blended nut and seed and fruit and vinegar dressings, vegetable bean soups, steamed veggies and brown rice or quinoa, maybe with a peanut butter sauce you make from pb, garlic, and the water from steaming the veggies. You don’t have to give up eating, you just eat more of these healthful foods first and put off the unhealthful ones and after awhile you don’t want the unhealthful ones. Like I think about meat sometimes, but I would only want to eat it with lots of greens and onions and mushrooms, celery, and cashews, etc. and then, I’m like I don’t really need it or it would be a flavoring at that point. Or it’d be down at a level, 5% of calories or less, that might not be harmful. So you feel better all the time, don’t have unhealthful cravings, don’t get sick as much or as bad, poop easily, not to mention have lower weight, lower blood sugar, lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol right, everything is better including your mood. You can exercise better, you can cook for your friends / family, Your taste buds are better you enjoy food more. It’s at least quite good and perfectly satisfying and you don’t feel like crap when you’re not eating. You might want to start gardening, check out permaculture, and then you don’t need the disease care system, you can save money interesting that “health” insurance costs as much as healthful food. You can turn your back on this but you’re fucking yourself. This actually empowers people it doesn’t sell them garbage that hurts them, it empowers them to take care of themselves.

  • @BlueSky Hypnosis
Hi! Does anyone know if listening to this…will it have any effect on my little guy? He comes into my bed occasionally and I don’t want it to negatively effect him. ☀️

  • She does not work. So she has plenty of time to prepare and cook healthy food. She doesn’t because she is so lazy. It does not take long to make a healthy stir fry. In her videos I do not see bowls of fresh fruit, hardly any fresh vegetables, it is mostly frozen or packaged food. Most with a high fat and calorie count

  • There is nothing wrong with her eating a high carb meal. Carbs are low in calorie density. Whole grains are great to lose weight. The problem is that the carbs she’s eating probably have plenty of fat in them. “The Fat you eat is the fat you wear.” Why are most Asians so skinny? After all, they eat tons of rice white rice to be exact. Because carbs don’t make you fat.

  • Wow what a wonderful channel we really need content like this, it teaches and helps a lot of people to radically change their distorted view of food

  • Girl that is literally what I have to do. People don’t understand I keep telling everyone that the only way I can lose wait is TO BE JUST NOT EAT AT ALL. It’s ridiculous.

    I even overeat on keto!!!

  • I cannot get decent life insurance because my BMI is deemed too low. I had a DEXA scan and my body fat is actually really normal. I eat mostly the way that the good doctor is telling us to eat but I do have my hiccups and I’m not perfect.

  • I have really weird..not bad..but weird dreams when I listen to this. I’ve listened the past 3 nights…I’ve been eating less and less each day. Today I havent even been hungry yet and I’ve been up for 5 hours. Maybe I should stop listening for a while so I don’t end up like the guy from the Stephen king movie, Thinner. Lol.

  • Hi I’m very intrigued by this and I tried it last night. However I didn’t get to sleep until 4am. I was unsure if it was too quiet as I could just hear the music (whereas on headphones I can here the whispers slightly), but I didn’t want it playing too loud either. My partner snores loudly as well, so I’m conscious that even if I do sleep that I won’t hear the subliminal messages subconsciously. In this case is it recommended to use headphones?

  • Wow, I have to smoke some good weed just to want to eat or get groceries and I want to get bigger. Damn I should have her diet for awhile.

  • I love this man! He’s so smart and a great speaker. I bought his book, EAT TO LIVE and it’s outstanding!! I’ve been on a whole food plant based diet since May 1st. I’ve lost 34 lbs and I’m off my blood pressure meds. I can’t wait to see my bloodwork numbers in September. I’m 53 and feel 23!!☺

  • Love your video!!! When I experimented I learned that Carby foods are addicting cause of the sugar in it. To break it you have to fast or do only low glycemic for a week or liquid only. After you burn off the sugar you lose all cravings

  • Since coming across Fuhrman’s book, “Eat to Live” and watching him a number of times on PBS I have considered Joel Fuhrman the most ‘authoritative’ expert in nutrition that I know of: He seems to have an innate genius knowledge (which has been acquired via experience as well) of nutrition that is unsurpassed. His knowledge and comprehension of all-things both nutrition and medical seems that much better and more on the ‘genius-level’ than all other nutrition experts that I am aware of.
The books “The China Study” and “Eat to Live” are something tantamount to the closest thing to a ‘nutrition bible’ that I have ever come across…

  • can I just fill myself off grilled chicken and celery with water and do chair burppies and lose 35 to 40 pounds in 3 months?

Celery taste good to me prefer It then pizza.,.

  • So if I have a cheat day and I eat 1200 everyday and I go over and eat 2200 calories on that day then do I need to eat 200 calories the next day?

  • i have no self control and a very low metabolism…. and i’m always hungry and start picking at food…. so i really hope this works

  • Takeaway

    1) Eat High Volume Nutrient Dense Foods (ALL Veggies, Fruits, Legumes to FILL you, increase satiety, and decrease appetite)
    2) AVOID Cooking Oils Increase appetite (STAY AWAY FROM PROCESSED FOOD, except Saturday night for the boys)
    3) Impossible to over-eat with micro-nutrient foods. 210% possible to lose weight while in major calorie deficit.

  • i spend $50 on take out food per day, i eat the amount of food for 4 people. i do this by eating and then puking it back out to make room for more food.

  • I don’t think she is a good example, you must remember she is earning money eating on camera, if she changes her lifestyle she needs to look for other ways to provide for herself, I don’t believe at all anything she says because she has financial gains from it, it’s not difficult not to eat fast food and junk, but it’s easy to make excuses if you are getting money for it

  • It’s 2:15 am and I’m eating two BIG chocolate chip cookies because I need to feel like I’m digesting something in order to go to sleep. It calms me down. I’ve never done drugs, but I go places when I eat certain foods.

  • I am anxious to know what are the words spoken behind the music. Also, how does the subconscious know what those words are? Please reply, BlueSky. Thank you.

  • Since I have been listening to your subliminal. I eat more veggies, I actually had the desire to workout.
And my doctor said I lost 21 pounds in ten days. And this was before I started working out. It’s has made me determine to lose more I’m kinda obsess. Thanxs so much Thomas you are a angel.

  • You’re amazing, thank you so much for this video and sharing your experience. I’ve gotten to a point where I am so overweight and uncomfortable in my body and you helped me realize I really am addicted to food. You are so encouraging

  • When i was fat back then i was so concerned with my looks and how i turned out.
And back then i was thinking if i could go and exercise and diet at the same time. But the problem is im scared if i cant do it and i tried it but it was so hard. For me when you are fat its a leap of faith its either you choose to die eating foods or to be physically and mentally healthy and that take much effort. But the harder you work the better your results would get and its pretty awesome

  • I start my weight loss jounery tmrw i want to weight 112 so i am going to drink acv exrices dirnk water eat a fruit bowl less than 2000 caliores work out for 6 months

  • Adrian I have bin eating less cal then I should and I fear that I slowed my metabolism do you know anything that can help me please

  • I was mandated to lose a minimum of 15 lbs before I could have surgery. It has been 2 1/2 weeks, and this has been the catalyst for my weight loss. So far, I am down 17 lbs! I don’t feel hungry. I don’t snack constantly.
My next step is to start an easy exercise routine.

  • Thank you so much for making this. I couldn’t find a good video about this and I thought I was alone in this. I want to work on my addiction and knowing that you went through similar things that I’m going through and still fought it and won, truly gives me hope.

  • Have you done any research on the microbiome? Fat and sugar acclimated microorganisms, my understanding, send signals to the brain to cultivate more of said food.

  • My mind is too strong! Although that is a good thing, it’s also tricky at times. I can’t be taken over by things that can actually help me

  • The way the “facts” are linked into logical patterns is impressive. But I question many of the assumptions being presented as “facts”. Olive oil does not raise insulin levels and has an established role in mediteranean cuisine as a proven satiator, as a means to suppress appetite. So how does it all of a sudden become an appetite stimulator?

  • I lost all my friends to depression. Over the past two years, everything in my life has gotten worse and I can barely get out of bed to even attend my online classes. I have come to terms with the fact that I have developed a good addiction because of it all. It’s the only way I feel any form of “happiness”. I just don’t know what to do anymore. Watching this has helped a bit, thank you for sharing.

  • There are special interests that don’t want you to know that sugar is a drug. I know, I tried cocaine twice and I didn’t get hooked, but for other people cocaine is life. Like sugar is life for others.

  • Okay, understood. That makes sense. I dont eat meat now. I as agree, I have to track what I’m eating until I kn ki w what I’m doing

  • You’re the best. Likes and dislikes talk enough… Thanks… Just one question… Lets say i do your Elliptical intense work out ( lose 9lb in a week ) does it not burn muscles, if i eat after the work out? Since you say doesnt matter how many time you eat or what time. Thank you very much

  • My dear dear friend, my first man that’s been in my bedroom for twenty years, and you put me to sleep and also make me drop a dress size. Yippee

  • Olive oil intake has been linked with a lower incidence of breast cancer. Hypoxic microenvironment in solid tumors, such as breast cancer, is known to play a crucial role in cancer progression and in the failure of anticancer treatments Published: 14 April 2020

  • I’ve recently been going through a really tough break-up. Coupled with the pandemic and my eldest son’s birthday and death date. I’ve only been listening for 2 days but yesterday my sister invited me for birthday cake my favorite. When she handed it to me it wasn’t appealing at all. I took the first bite tried to chew and had to spit it out immediately, the sugar was just overwhelming.
Also, I’ve noticed that I have been able to get at least 6 hours of deep sleep. Oh and I’m down 4 lbs .
Can’t thank you enough. The deceased sons birthday is in 2 days and for once I’m not as anxious. Hope the next 2 nights of listening help. Again, thanks.

  • Thanks so much for your advice. I swear i have food issues and its really hard because i realize when im overeating and i still feel like at times i cant stop

  • Somehow, it really works after day 4 and i have no crave for junk food at all. Its not that i reject it, i dont even thinking about it. Also the amount of food i use to eat after few days is dropped to normal. It really works… thanks for sharing

  • God bless you girl, thank you soo soo much for the advice. You have 100% potential for becoming a Doctor seriously, you should definitely pursue the career. I wanted to mention also that you have a beautiful face ⚘

  • If you think about it you waste money buying food when you’re not hungry, that money could have been in your bank account or to one of your hobbies (make up etc)

  • There is proof that the S.A.D. was not designed by Al Qaida but rather Nazi scientists who collaborated with the CIA after being captured at the end of WWII. So you weren’t far off.

  • Hello!I don’t sleep at nights(I could but I don’t want to)so I listened to this from 9 inthe morning ’till 14.30 when I woke up.Is this ok?

  • SAD ratios are misleading. Most of the 30% meat is processed crap. The real ratios are closer to 5% whole plant, 5% real meat, 90% processed. Getting rid of (substituting) the 90% processed is what makes the new diets work, be they vegan or carnivore. Combining fats and carbs probably doesn’t work well, seeing as fat sugar appears to be a highly addictive combo, so choose one or the other. Both choices seem to generate very similar benefits according to annecdotal evidence.

  • Oh my God, everybody forget about the cals, sugar and fat…. there is 480 mg of sodium = salt!! in this ‘icecream’… shockwave: only 6 mg is the max per aldult per DAY!! focus on that!!

  • My experience with your recordings have been great. I have tried 3 and this one is the charm. I don’t have a binge problem or anxiety, or a motivation problem regarding food as I have discovered here. I just chase carbs all day due to my brain thinking this is what I should be doing for some reason. Now, my brain wants to do other things and I have to actually remind myself to eat. I plan to try others. For some reason I am figuring out how to play the piano on my own and my attention to my Italian language lessons is better. I had used a professional hypnotherapist while struggling with accounting in college many years ago. I always had faith in hypnosis and now I have found you. Thanks!

  • This is why when I’m eating clean, a salad is so satisfying and I’m full. But last week I ate an entire bag of chips in a sitting.

  • I had gastric bypass 8 years ago and lost a lot of weight but the main 2 reasons I had was to lose weight and because I have diabetes type 2. But I started to binge eat and put on about 28 pounds I put this down to not coping with emotional eating, it’s like my brain doesn’t talk to my stomach lol. This is my second night listening to this. Thank you for the video.

  • Wow that might be the most useful video on weight lost and diets i have ever seen. Never saw it on this angle and it was like a wake up call to my food associations (boredom, social, happy, etc.) thank god i also crave good food (it might even be a good fruit or a salad) but it’s still food and i crave it a lot around different occasions.

  • 100% agree with not wasting calories on junk! I had noooo idea how many calories I wasted on snacks until I started documenting what I was eating.

  • 39:58 42:00 the good doctor is on fire!!! This is what motivates me. Fuhrman and Greger are so passionate about helping us. No one has the energy that these two Titans have.

  • To me if a person is going to be obsessed with foods, be obsessed eating clean foods or pretty much fat burning foods such as eggs, fish, and oatmeal with a bit of sugar and bread even tea. From what I know about different body types, especially for those that gain fat easily, they can gain muscles just as easily as well too from my understand. But regardless I would definitely recommend to see a professional Dietitian.

  • I finally got comfortable, fell asleep and my evil ass obnoxious kid woke me up slamming doors, turning on lights at 2 am. She’s destroying me

  • For years, I’ve been an emotional bag lady, and eating like a mad woman. It has cost me so much time feeling bad and at the doctor’s office.

They call food addiction being a “foodie” and that’s not cute.

I’ve press the reset button on my life, and asked the Most High for strength. I journal, and get in touch with what’s hurting me. I ask myself if I’m really hungry.

So far so good. We can’t keep digging our graves with a knife, spoon, and fork.

  • Ops wrote in Portuguese, sorry! I meant wow! I slept 8 hours!! Can’t believe it! This is the first time I do it and will be back to tell the results

  • i have a binge eating disorder, purging disorder and really hope this video and kick start my recovery by making my binge eating urgers less

  • BULLSHIT! About half of what Dr. Fuhrman says is true, the rest is pure bullshit. The cure for overeating is to ask yourself, “Am I hungry.”
If you realize that you are not really hungry… do not eat anything! Simple!

  • This works.. i hope. I will use this at night. I gained 15 pounds and full face of acne in 2 months…. from having 5 cookies every other day. Well, at least i know it was the cookies.

  • I think this saved me & I don’t say this lightly. I struggle with emotional/binge eating. For the past 10 years my world revolved around food. Trapped by it. Before I listened to this I was ordering fast food every/every other night. I had no control. I wanted to stop but I felt like an addict. Things were falling to pieces. My body suffering. My mental health. I stumbled across this and honestly I’d tried everything else so why not this? I’ve been doing it for 2 weeks now. The biggest relief is that I don’t sit and think about food constantly. I don’t have a constant battle in my head. I haven’t ordered fast food in these weeks and I haven’t binged. It’s so nice not feeling disappointed in myself every day. It feels very freeing. I picked up some fruit from the store for the first time in a couple of years. So it’s doing something for me that nothing else has. It has also given me some consistency! I’ve just started the duel track along side it & I look forward to continuing to do this for the foreseeable future. I don’t think you’ll understand how grateful I am that you made this & put it here. You definitely served your purpose in life and may you be blessed for it. I wish you all the best in this life, health & happiness. Thank you again

  • She should stay 1 year to my country. There are no McDonald’s Starbucks KFC Burger King etc. You rarely find fast food there. I live in another country where you can find these and I’ve only been to McDonald’s 4 times. I eat 5-7 times a month fast food.

  • Wow….I feel like i actually slept. If nothing else, I’m grateful for that!!!! These ridiculous cravings are cast into the universe!

  • Not that this is great…. But chewing sugar free gum will sometimes help me with cravings. Itll help starting out for sure. Thank you for this. I needed it in a big way❤

  • @BlueSky Hypnosis
I have ordered this track from your website. So far it was played for 2 nights. I have a tendency to wake up a few times during the night. I wonder if listening while awake would be less effective? I will continue to play it because I am so determined to overcome emotional eating. I appreciate your feedback. Thanks.

  • My question is when will the food industry, particularly, junk food companies going to be held responsible for their part in this country’s obesity epidemic? They really are just like drug dealers supplying to junkies as far as I’m concerned. I’ve lost almost 30 pounds and I have another 20-25 to go and I obsess about junk food more than ever despite almost never eating it. That says a lot about the addictive qualities of some of these foods.

  • I might not have crazy food habits, binge eat or anything crazy but I realized over the past week, prepping for an upcoming fast, that I clearly have a food addiction. I’m going to cure it through this fast too.

  • Hot cheetos are scarily addictive. I don’t have a weight problem because I try and watch what I eat and I exercise daily…I’m 46 and it gets harder when you get older to stay in shape. But hot cheetos. Omg. I won’t even buy then bc i know how addictive they are. They are like Twisties that have crossed to the dark side and developed a Meth habit. Just say no to hot Cheetos.

  • When this lady says maintain her bodyweight. She’s not mentioning that the majority of that bodyweight is not essential. Its not muscle or bone or veins and brain meat. Its mostly fat which is simply excess energy.

  • I swear, I feel like I have this issue, but I’m not big or anything. I’m a healthy weight. Every time I try to say I have a food addiction, everyone is like “BUt yOuR sLiM” ‍♀️. I feel like no one gets it. I don’t necessarily think about food 24/7 because I’m busy and occupied most of the time. But when it’s time to eat, I eat SOOO much. Food literally takes up most of my budget. I order UberEats every day, quite literally, even when I have a fridge full of food. The issue isn’t weight for me, but a matter of survival. I cannot survive spending this much money on food. It’s way too much .

  • It is a comfort that am not alone and there r solutions gona give it a try thanks dear for bringing out d topic saving it n watch it regularly

  • I’m falling asleep faster, staying asleep, and having more deep sleep than I ever have. My appetite is decreased and my mood is improved. I’ve been listening for 3 days and I think this is going to be a life changer.

  • When I was a kid, I would always get jealous of some of my classmates because they always eat mcdonalds for lunch while I got homecooked meals. But now, I’m so glad I got used to homecooked meals rather than fast food. Thanks mom!

  • I’m here late, but I have such a serious food addiction. I’ve been prescibed oxy for my severe chronic pain and I’m not addicted to that, but I can’t stop thinking about food 24/7 and have gained so much weight in the past year that people don’t recognize me in photos. (My photo on here is from way before of course lol) thank you for sharing your story and I’m glad I found your channel❤️❤️

  • Thank you so much for this video. I am 5’5″ and 18 years old…. And I am 265lbs. This is the heaviest I have ever been. For me when I was a child I was a little bigger, but still healthy, but now I see that I have an actual food addiction. I struggle and become out of breath going up 7 steps of stairs. I am 2X and I always eat. I eat because I’m bored, tired, hungry, depressed, angry, anything. And I don’t eat healthy I eat fast food and I noticed now that I eat HUGE portions. So thank you so much for your video because it seems so much easier now that I’m looking at food as a mental thing I feel very encouraged to lose weight!

  • It’s great. So far I. Have been sleeping between 1&4 hours in the morning now sleep longer just to have a deeper sleep is wonderful thank you jo

  • Thank you for this video Brittany. I’ve been on and off trying to eat more healthily and I just can’t seem to stick to it. This video has really inspired me and I’m really going to try this time. I promise!:)

  • This is amazing. I listened to it last night and for the first time in months I slept the entire night instead of waking up at 3:00 a.m. when I woke up at 8:00 a.m. I felt so relaxed and rested.

  • I fall asleep pretty quickly but I haven’t managed to listening to it all the way through, I keep getting woken up by my dogs or my kids or the headphones go flat

  • Do I have to listen to it all the way through for it to work? My sleep is broken up by little children during the night lol. And I turn it off when they end up climbing into my bed at some point.

  • So glad you are talking about this because people don’t really seem to address the mental aspect of over eating. I find it hard to meet up with friends without it being centered around food. Any tips on nighttime activities that don’t involve food or drinking?

  • Does she not do any other dopamine-releasing activities? I never get as excited to eat as she does to eat. Her whole face lights up. I just find other things more rewarding than eating.

  • Please could you explain how can this work if I can’t hear the words? I can only hear S sounds… The talking is completely inaudible. I understand that my subconscious can hear a whisper but there is nothing to hear.

  • Thank you soo much! I just find your channel today. I just realized yesterday that I have problems with food addiction….:(
    Thanks for your honesty ❤️

  • It’s definitely her fault. I prefer junk food too, just like most of the other people and yet Im not a fatass. I was a bit overweight for a couple of years eating junk food. Turns out high bp runs in thr family. I’ve been eating low carb diet with calory counting, exercise and lots of protein intake and I lost 7 kgs upto now and will lose another 12. No one can convince me that it’s the food and not her fault. It’s only her fault and as soon as she realizes that she can go without junk food she’ll lose weight. Just read the damn labels.

  • My clothes don’t fit me the same anymore.. I’ve gained close to 20lbs. I’ve tried to get help from my family and friends but no one takes me seriously. I’m praying that God can give me the strength to overcome this.

  • I just found this video. I def have an addiction. When I order food I order 2 meals for MYSELF. I eat at midnight. I’ve been so hard up for something that I have opened cake icing and eaten it. smh

  • Wow there were two things that you mentioned that I absolutely do that you said were major signs of food addiction. I just would like to know what type of professional I should seek for food addiction. Is it a dietician or a therapist or a psychologist?

  • Thank you for making this video. You explained it very well. I came searching for videos suspecting that I have a food, sugar & carb addiction. Your descriptions helped me get things very clear in my head. I struggle with cravings. I’m currently using keto to control my eating & sugar addiction. I recently did a 5 day water fast in order to help break my food & sugar addiction. Now I see old tendencies coming back, and cravings even on keto & over eating is coming back. I had initially dedicated myself to 16/8 fasting but have not been doing it. I’m thinking it’s time to fast again in order to heal this. Thanks again for sharing all so clearly. Not a lot of people take food addiction seriously but the way you laid it out explains why it IS an addiction.

  • I listen to this while I work (freelancer with long periods of time alone), layered with soft classical music, and this has worked wonderfully! I also eat low carb, which has already been incredibly helpful to my lifestyle change efforts, but your recordings (this and others) definitely takes the edge off when I have stressful deadlines that used to drive me to snack. And even if it was a low carb-friendly snack-and not too excessive-I simply didn’t need the extra calories or to continue that unnecessary habit. I believe the impact extends to times when I’m not listening, as well, but I’d rather not take chances when possible.:)

    Thank you so very much!

  • I really hope you read this first off I want to say that you are very beautiful secondly I want to say that I have lost 70 pounds and now I realize that I’m starting to gain back because of my addiction to food and because of my addiction to binge eating. I have watched so many countless videos and none of them have helped until I came upon this video. My addiction to food is definitely out of boredom. And food has always been there for me I can always count on it. Tomorrow I am restarting my program and I feel like I’m going into this with a clear mind thanks to you. I don’t know why your video clicked with me so much but it was so relatable and I thank you so much for it. Hopefully I can update you in a couple of months with my results.

  • She needs to do keto. It’s legit like the best sugar detox diet you can do and kills the addiction. But you still gotta be committed and don’t cheat.

  • What do you all think? I know food itself is addictive but she doesn’t know when to stop, 30% of us say, ok that burguer was good i want another one, but we know it’s bad for you so you just don’t order it, it’s her fault for not accepting that

  • Quarantine weight has finally got to me. Time to end the emotional eating. Thank you for this video. Week one of my journey to get my body back in shape. But if I’m being completely honest, it’s been much longer than 3 months that I’ve had this need I just was ignoring the calling to do something for me to put health as a priority.

  • I ate 500 calories a day for a week, my metablosim is fr messed up yk how ta get it quicker bc I needa lose 10 more pounds but it’s not working no more

  • Well listening for ages falling asleep fast enough when I turn it on and staying asleep no weight gone. Don’t know what you all on bout there must be something wrong with me.

  • I just had a food binge.the day before i ate raw beans onion carrots.

My gut was wrecked the next morning i couldnt think and felt inflammation into my brain

  • I’ve watched so many videos on losing weight and they don’t work. But for some reason I feel like your methods and the way you word it, it sounds like it really works

  • Thank you so much. I am recovering from a 7 year homeless stretch… sleeping in my car listening to your vids has been HUGE. I look forward to financial ability to help support your channel very soon. In the meantime just know your value is immense

  • Thank you very much i like all greens my diabetic 2 is dropping low all the time but I am not dieting keto did not work for me what else can I use iam76 use a walking frame dont get any exercise have problim with my feet and knees

  • I agree with healthy eating, but the stat about British children and sugar consumption being linked to violent arrests later is a stretch. Correlation does not equal causation. Did the kids who ate the most sugar also have inattentive parents? Maybe single parent households where it’s easier to throw candy at the kids to pacify them? Maybe little discipline (indicated by high sugar consumption) is also a cause for violent arrests later.

  • My problem is primarily sleeping. This tape has helped with my sleeping. Should I continue with this for my sleeping or is there something that you can recommend that may be even more effective.

  • I’ll be full and still want more food. Like I can’t wait for the next meal and I’ll think about it all day until I get to eat. Most of my pay check goes to food. I went to McDonald’s last night after dinner. I’d already eaten and yet I still went to McDonald’s. I felt high like a drug addict while eating it and then after I felt awful and hated myself. This happens way too often. I was doing so well with my weight loss then for the 4th of July I engorged myself the day of and a few days after with left overs and gained it back.

  • Your videos are so consistently well-made and informative! I’m a new follower, but I already feel like I’m learning so much. Health is just as much (if not more) mental as it is physical. Excited to continue learning from you!:)

  • I thought I’d give this a listen whilst waiting for my cooking and burnt the pizza to an inedible state. Works already didn’t want pizza anyway

  • Thank you so much for making this video I’m so glad I found this. I seriously need and am going to watch this again. This can help out so many people out there. I’ve been dieting and exercising for 2 months now and I honestly am so glad that my food addiction isn’t winning anymore and I honestly feel like it is getting easier day by day.

  • This was a great video. I met a woman on a cruise who told me she was a good addict and as she explained it I was like I am too!!! She attended food addicts anonymous yes that’s a thing. I am taking black seed oil and is really curbing my cravings and I’m finally off the junk food and losing weight!
