    Day 1: I listened it for 7 hours, I guess. While listening between my aware sleep and pee wake ups. I could feel something happening in my abdominal region. It was stretching and tightening. I could feel the burn and soreness. When I woke up, I was shocked. I checked on mirror and I lost hell lotta fat just in a day, that V shaped physique started to appear. 3 days back, I had measured my navel line (not waist line) it was 37 inches. I did today it was fucking 34-35. I am surprised and happy.

    Day 2: I heard for 3-5 hours, the same feelings but extra ordinary results. I still got lil obliques(love handles) and stomach but I can see a blurry line which can be called as a abs separation line. Idk what to call it but I see my abs positions and blocks slightly visible now.
    Day 3: I lost my heavy obliques. I still have fat in my handles but relatively very less. Very close to Flat!

  • Diet Plan known as Custokebon Secrets kept appearing here on a lot of videos and I thought they were scams. However after my mate follow it, and finally lost crazy amounts of weight with it without starving herself. I’m persuaded. Don’t take my own word for it, search for Custokebon Secrets on the google search engine.

  • I was honestly really good with hitting that daily goal and it not being very taxing on me, but now that I’m maintaining I want wayy more flexibility, especially since I have more calories now. I’m not that good with excel, so this is exactly what I was searching for, bc the weekly average in MFP is more a little additional information I feel like, rather than an actual tool for tracking.   • MFP counts fiber in the carb total, but fiber doesn’t have calories. This may be why the math is off so much? If you have 25g of fiber and you do the macro math it’s going to put your calories 100kCal higher….some of it might also be from inputting labels that round things off since if you do the macro math on labels it doesn’t add up right all the time either. I think they can legally round to the nearest 10 calories on labels.

  • Ok so I have a question. I started to use the macro averager because I don’t have a good relationship with food and I honestly really like it so far. But when I was tracking a banana’s macros I noticed that when I just put in the amount of carbs it apparently had, the calories were already more than what apparently the total caloric amount was. Then, when I put in all the macros from a calorie tracking app I was using the calories on the app were less than the macro averager even though the calorie tracker had the right amount of calories that I ate that day. I know you said that it happened with My FitnessPal too so I was wondering if there was any reason why the macro to calorie was different even though I was able to look at the caloric amount for almost all the food.

    I know that this will be out of place, but it’s related with food, so…
    I’ve been struggling with eating disorders for years, I have anxiety, depression, and OCD. I have the tendency to overeat. I’m an emotional eater, I ignore what I feel by eating all the time. So recently I’ve been doing meditation with an app in my phone, and it’s so helpfull, ’cause I’ ve tried to meditate before but don’t know how or what I’m suppossed to do! And now I’m doing pretty well with food and have dropped some pounds!!!
    And I feel so much better now in many other aspects of my life! Meditation is so powerful!!
    Maybe you could talk more about this subjects, ’cause I know that it could help more people as it helped me!

  • MyFitnessPal might be using the full numerical representation of carbs/fat and protein. It isn’t 9grams or 4 grams on the nose. For example fat is closer to 9.44 per gram which will throw you off a bit if you are calculating for just 9 grams.

  • How do you account for exercise? There are plenty of days that I’m in a deficit because of my increased activity level, so I’m unsure how to make sure that doesn’t throw off my numbers (and obviously make them higher because I’m eating more).

  • reason #3 using an average will make you sing aloud: planning for tougher workouts (listen up endurance athletes!) Day to day training can be done in a deficit with some minor discomfort. But those 2 days a week you’re doubling your load, you’re going to want some extra calories. You’ll still be in a deficit at the end of the day but have the ability to plan adequate nutrition during training. It can also be helpful if you’re racing to have a maintenance or surplus day the day before a race. Yesterday was a planned surplus day for me so when I woke up this morning I could slam out a harder than usual training session without all those death-marchie vibes.

  • Honestly, I never had problems with my weight. I could eat whatever I wanted and still maintain normal weight, but a lot of junk food really affected my health.   • Im pretty sure the reason the calories are always inaccurate is because it just adds up the calories that are on the items. And as we know, companies can round calories. If everything youre eating is off by 5 calories, it can add up to a couple hundred the end of the day. That is why I always calculate my calories based on macros by the end of the day.

    That being said, I downloaded your thing the first time you mentioned it and its so much easier than having to calculate it myself every time:p. So I thank you for that.

I’ve just started my 3rd week of being in a deficit (sort of because… Easter! haha) and since you’ve talked about 2-3 weeks max in a deficit I’d like to ask what do you consider maintenance. I’ve lost some weight (nothing too drastic) but I just wondered if “maintenance” is to maintain the weight one has now or if it would be better to calculate the maintenance macros based on the weight before cutting (in order not to slower our metabolism).   • This is really great tool for every goal you could have. I love how simple, but useful this macro averager is <3 There are some days, when I´m not moving much, so I don´t get so hungy and I eat less and some days I eat maybe way too much:D, but this shows, that you don´t need to stress about it.   • the calorie rounding was the entire reason i switched from MFP to Chronometer, it’s way more accurate and gives you more info on food without having to pay anything

  • Wow! I never realized that MyFitnessPal was off on their calorie counter. I plugged in the historical information into the Excel sheet and the weekly macros and calories didn’t add up. One of my days was 700 calories different between the Excel sheet and MyFitnessPal. The information helps explain why I’m losing fat slower than I calculated.

  • U can’t purge your kitchen as a 16 year old so it’s hard being at like 25 percent body fat and having all that food around honey buns and pizza are things I have to try and stay away from or I pig out on them

  • Umm… you all know he didn’t put on all that muscle in the 12 weeks right? Seems pretty obvious that he had the muscle to begin with, but it was hidden beneath a small layer of fat which was likely gained during a “bulk”. Then this video shows his “cut”, losing the fat and revealing the muscle.

  • the thing is when I did intermittent water fasting daily then i stopped feeling the sugar crash and hunger pangs. after doing that steadily for 3 weeks, i worked out and had walks all day for work and i don’t feel starving and weak. it may not work for everyone so we should taper according to our bodies responses in a few months.   • i have the same experience. i used to play volleyball well at least until i stopped growing taller since height is what teams/coaches look for honestly. there exist some sort of height disrcimination in this sport:/ anyway, i developed big quads bc of all the squat-like digs and jumping. worse, i had large thighs and a pancake butt which rlly looks weird bc i thought squats will also help my glutes grow. now im doing some of ur glutes workout and have been seeing results. thank so much April <3

  • Yeah, I too am guilty of jumping through weight loss plan to others as well, I do believe that I need to have tested every single fat loss system that was available, however in the end not one of them helped me to shed and maintain the weight off.   • BIT OF AN ESSAY BUT MY RESULTS HAVE PROVEN TO ME THAT THESE METHODS WORK

    Lots of carbs and very low fat
    Or
    Lots of fat and very low carbs
    (Fats aren’t bad.. even saturated fat. Don’t believe anyone who tells you otherwise. It’s been proven)

    I much prefer the latter because carbs are MUCH easier to over eat on and that’s not what you want.. especially sugary foods. Keep your carbs low & you’ll keep your sugar low. Teach your body to use fat for energy! Contrary to popular opinion, it’s very hard to over eat on fats because you get bored of them before you exceed your calorie requirements. I didn’t think it was possible to get bored of bacon! Nuts are probably the only exception.. but you get a lot of protein along with them so there’s an up side. Not many foods are high in both carbs and protein. Pretty much all meats and nuts give you high fat and protein. So I find that method makes hitting your macro targets easier.

    Calories in vs calories out is the most important thing for weight loss/gain. Anything extra (like the methods I mentioned) is a bonus and makes the process easier.

    Keeping your protein levels high is absolutely essential if you want to hold onto muscle mass. There are no exceptions. 1.2g per lb of body weight minimum. If you don’t have sufficient protein, you will still lose fat but you WILL also lose muscle.
