The very first thing you should do when you wake up should be the most challenging tast of the day. It is scientifically proven that human willpower and determination is at it’s highest right when we wake up and gradually lowers as the day goes on. This is why so many struggle to get to the gym after a long day at the office. When you begin your dat with exercise your mental capacity for handling stress nearly triples. Our brains recognize exercise as a period of stress. Heart rate increases and the brain kicks into a fight-or-flight response, as a defense to the supposed threat out brains product two chemicals. BDNF and endorphins, BNDF or brain deprives neurotrophic factor works to protect and repair your memory neurons and act as a reset switch. Thus clearing your mind and helping you make positive decision. Endorphins are realeased in order to minimize the discomfort of exercise. Block the sensation of pain and are even associate with the feelings of pleasure. BDNF and endorphins are the physiological reasons exercise makes you feel so good. The somewhat scary part is that these chemicals are highly addictive like morphine, heroin or nicotine. The only difference: While they’re actually good for you. These positive mental effects have been shown to last throughout the entire day. Starting the day with a solid workout leads to better diet choices, a faster metabolism, more energy and a sense of accomplishment. A morning ritual can be any physically stimulating activity. A trail run, a bike ride, yoga, or even as basic as a dog walk around the block. There’s no gym membership needed and there’s absolutely no excuse not to. Next time you wake up don’t start your day by checking your email or drinking coffee. Get up and immediately start moving, you will find that this is the first step in improving your life in every single area.

  • Morning excercisers may be more disciplined but if not just being fit but being athletic matters than falling out of bed and revving your engine will not make you better.Your body is no where near ready to improve performance 15 minutes after hugging a pillow. You can morning run for years and be in great shape. But my bet is the guy who trains after work covers ground faster. His body has been all day moving. His quality of workout on average is much better.

  • Yes in general, not at all necessarily in some of the particulars like the fuckin oats. Some quinoa or black wild rice, my body says fuck yeah.

Also, who came here to wank to boyo’s bod?

  • Dammit!! Got all the way to the end and could do the plank push ups!!! That’s ok though…now I have a new goal to challenge myself with!! Lol This is awesome and inspiring. Thank you!!

  • Does it matter when you wake up? if you sleep 8 hours and you wake up in the evening. do you still get same benefit if you go for walk right after you wake up.

  • I loved this. First morning wake up I’ve tried and I’m saving it for later. Thanks for making me feel like it’s easy and I’m going to have a great day!

  • Great video. Energetic twice daily sex is the #1 best exercise for mind and body and sleep. Pushups #2 for body. Also go up stairs or hills.

It feels like 20cm of my arms are just missing, my legs are way too long for this..

  • I lost about 80 lbs. slowly since Jan 2017, I’m in my 60’s. I dumped all processed foods and I do 30 mins of elliptical everyday in addition to working out for a couple hours every other day. On workout days I do 3 sets of 40 proper push ups as a part of my workout. I remember back when I started in 2017 I struggled to do on push up (I also struggled to tie my sneakers). Give it time and eat right. I never counted calories until I was at about 26 bmi or so when I stagnated, then I used the excel worksheet from this site. I’m also off all medication for high blood pressure and cholesterol, blood pressure now normal, blood work normal and bmi 23.

  • I just make use of this brain training game“nonu amazing only” (Google it) to help keep my mind active. There are several components in this game which is quite effective in working out your human brain.

It’s a place where they can talk about their mental health, too! EOOD promotes the importance of exercise to not only your physical health, but your psychological well being, too.

  • If I wanted to make this(not just this video but all your other workouts too) harder should I add more time to each workout or just repeat it multiple times?

  • There is no movement without BLUE SHORTS.!!!!

Although it is generally accepted that the only truly reliable way to avoid weight gain is to eat healthily and exercise, the truth is that for many people, this seems like a hell of a grind. It takes a lot of effort, and it can be a while before you see substantial results from it – so taking a short cut becomes more attractive.
