  • Everybody now wants africa after running away away,we are just here holding her strong,be kind to her,she doesn’t like to be rushed,a lot of her son’s and daughter haven’t found her yet,let her children grow at their own pace, they are still unwanted, colonised, brain washed etc,it’s all love no hate

  • Dr. Harnet I absolutely love your content. As an Ethiopia I’d like to know which box you’d put Ethiopia in as I am thinking of investing.
    A. High risk/high opp
    B. High risk/low opp
    C. Low risk/high opp
    D. Low risk/ low opp

  • I run and offer cloud software that does user management, billing and bandwidth control targeting internet service providers in Kenya, Hoping to assist internet providers all over africa to use the software to manage hotspots, scratchcards, fiber and wireless links.

  • We don’t see the burning of property and factories like in Ethiopia in Eritrea, therefore it is not high risk/ Low oppor.. It is actually Low risk / Low oppor.
On the other hand for big projects like mining Eritrea is Low risk / high oppo.
Speaking of sea weeds on coastal production in Eritrea, decades ago Eritrea had been producing sea weed sallicornia and mangrove trees production giving local women the opportunity to have better living standards. They have been using these as animal fodder, wood and also drywall. You can watch this on YouTube. A Japanese American micro biologist by the name Sato had this project with the help of gov. now run and Owen by Local women.

  • Do not go to Ethiopia!!! The current administration Abiy Ahamed is OLF criminal. The Oromo (OLF), are genocide the Amhara people and the Christians. The Oromo or OLF leaders are in power in Ethiopia now. They are killing people, burning humans, burning house, make them homeless and many more suffering. Since Abiy Ahamed took power, he has displaced millions of people to be homeless, he has genocide millions of people. It is a lot of suffering for the Amhara people and Christians. We need to boycott. It is a gross human right violation.

  • Very informative..Thanks Dr!

One thing..Have you visited Nigeria? I think Nigeria has a lot to offer..population, GDP…I think it is a great idea to explore Nigeria a bit more..do you agree?

  • Wow! Dr Harnet is one of the rare people with a unique inside to the most beautiful but yet undervalued and stereotyped part of the Earth, which does need us and we need it – well, I do. I wish I had an opportunity to be guided and advised by her when I ended up in East Africa in 2003 with no clue of what Africa is. I watched through the whole session and agree with every word she said; Africa is special when you know how to engage with it and, if you do this right, it’s love lifelong. I worked in DRC, Rwanda, Uganda, Serra Leone and, if you are up for moving, investing, building business or even just to dwell there for a while, it’s money, time, trouble and nerve-saving to be guided by such an expert as Dr Barnet. Thank you!

  • Dr. Harnet: some of your viewers may be interested in this: all-expenses paid trip to Ghana (Program called Birth Right Africa: https://birthrightafrica.org/):

    From Aljazeera: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3_iBbXx7aE

The Ghanaian principle of sankofa says that ‘to know where you’re going, you have to understand where you have come from’ – and it guides Birthright AFRICA, an ambitious US programme that encourages black teenagers and young adults to get in touch with their cultural heritage and history through education and travel.

Since 2017 Birthright AFRICA has helped send dozens of people to US museums, cultural sites and universities that highlight the traditions, experiences and innovations of the African diaspora. But the highlight of the once-yearly programme is an all-expenses paid trip to Ghana – where the students learn about African kingdoms, the impact and example of pan-Africanist figures such as W.E.B. Du Bois, and the human impact of the transatlantic slave trade at Cape Coast Castle, with its ‘door of no return’ being the emotional focal point of the visit. Many students report that the programme helps them form a deep and emotional understanding of their history and culture, one often glossed-over in US school and university classrooms.

  • It was nice, but i don’t think the trend should be like you are adopted from other continent. Africa should followed her own innovative ideas for business. The business shall magnifies the cultural value, geographical condition and natural resource.

  • Hello! Dr. Harnet, I wonder your beauty. What a smart face and structure. Where Continent/country did you come to Africa? For this specific question I am sorry. I am Hailu Awoke, from Africa, Ethiopia, Bahir Dar.

  • Interesting…just from the growth in population, Africa has great economic potential. However, I do wonder if we should just base economic growth on the Western economic model, which has shown to be flawed because of its boom-bust cycles and huge wealth disparity.

  • I was expecting you to mention that farmers lacks Financing and starting a business in Farm insurance and financing

with Affiliate program I tried using clickbanks but I was refused soo starting affiliate for Africa is a great inspiration..

  • I am wondering why learning is so important for anyone looking to buy stocks? For example, the Orca mobile app wants to teach how to invest. And at the same time, it launches a giveaway in which you can win up to £ 2500, which will also be one of the steps in teaching investing for new users. After all, if you’re lucky, you should be able to make your first investment with these free stocks.

  • Hi Dr Harnet,I live in the UK and strawberries and apples grow plentiful here.I live 50 miles from London if that is of any interest.I am not quite sure what I want to start with but been thinking for a while about getting out of this rat race and stop working for the man.I am also going to study natural medicine and sell natural supplements so asyou can tell I have few things would like to start up but need to purchase your course.Peace and blessings,Derek from UK

  • I am from Somaliland. a country situated at the horn of Africa. had seperated from Somalia but still seeking international recognition. It is amzing and peacefull country with law and order and democracy and full of resources. I would like to pay attention on this country. Love you Dr. Hernet.

  • Please can you show me how i can register for the ABA? I clicked the link which requested i register a new Facebook account. I registered on FB but that was it. Any advice?

  • There’s a mix feeling of population growth in Africa. Some fear it will increase poverty but some who are positively think population itself is an investment. Do we go with a fear or ignore it and look to the unknown future which can always be both, SUCCESS OR FAILURE. No one can predict the future.

  • Hello! Dr. Harnet, I wonder your business idea, additionally your beauty. What a smart face and structure. Where Continent/country did you come to Africa? For this specific question I am sorry. I am Hailu Awoke, from Africa, Ethiopia, Bahir Dar.

  • May I send you an email? Or what is your suggestion for making contact? I am a current outside investor in the Arusha area of Tanzania.

  • This is one of the most powerful content and lecture I’ve come across for a very loooooong time. It was so smooth listening to you breaking down all the different opportunities available on the African market. Keep up the good work.
I’m in Brussels. I’m wondering could we set up a zoom interview as I’d love to ask you some business related questions if you don’t mind to.
    Regards

  • This video is a gold mine! I have never subscribed so fast to a channel in my life. I can actually relate to a few of the ideas. The arranged African experience tours for example.

  • My husband and i are disable it’s hard to come up with the money to come to Africa but we are still hoping to come up with enough money for the both of us

  • It was so awesome to take part on yesterday’s session, I would like to thank Dr. Harnet so much for inviting me, am so amazed to hear so much hope about Africa. I’m also from Eritrea but wonder why never known you much earlier. Keep the good job up and God Bless you more abundantly!

  • There are business models that I have listed for Diasporans…So building a group to start any of these business in the continent would be a great welcome and a great relief to solving the problems of Africa… https://www.meza.best/business-opportunities-in-ghana-2020/

  • Can you please speak more about Food processing machinery, investment costs for machinery, factory layout and electrical requirements to start a small-medium processing food plant?

  • excellent content!!! Thank you for educating the diaspora for free! I am a student & research consultant in the US saving to build business in Africa! This was so helpful!

  • Dr. Harnet, why did you allow a white man to be part of this group peter thomas. I thought this was for African Diaspora. These people come on just to get information and try to stop what blacks try to do

  • Please, your contributions should not be based on the interest of money only. Let’s contribute towards making a better Africa not a Westernized and monetized Africa where the inhabitants would be suffocating.

  • What actually wanted to ask yesterday was about platforms which could connect the Entrepreneurs, Investors, Partners, job seekers….It would be nice to work on developing and making it accessible for everyone. We have so many serious issues of displacements, unemployed youth specially the once on the way to migrate to EU or where so ever, so many are displaced and stranded in very dangerous places like Libia for e.g, We should think about helping them in cooperation with the UNHCR or other relief and humanitarian organizations, reach them out, save them and get them connected with investors for employment or help them get mobilized in Africa. 99.9 percent of them are with some kind of work experiences, mention it from Farming to Tech, well educated….they are only looking for a safe places, earn good income and live in peace. Pls this is a reminder for potential investors, it would mean so much for Africa if you could safe the youth, use their potential give them perspective, it should be considered prior to any other issue. Thanks.

  • You’re the best! I provide transport and logistic software solutions (GPS tracking, fleet and logistics management solutions), I have been for the last 3 years in Africa. It hasn’t been easy to sell these products to the old school small operation transporters due to the mind set, but once they taste them they become believers. Easier with big businesses and small business owners with the right mind set. I think one of the challenges for us entrepreneurs in Africa in how to sell solutions to problems people have lived with for long time to the point they don’t even consider them problems sometimes.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. You’re the best!

  • Dr. Harnet thank you so much for sharing your indepth knowledge and insights on business opportunities in our Motherland Africa truly appreciated. ✊✊✊
